So, my muse seems to be adjusting to my new lifestyle, she visited me. There is more to this story, and I would love to write it, but time will tell if she brings me more of it.

Also, shout out to all the FlexibleSurvival ( http://flexiblesurvival.com ) players out there, I know a fair few of my readers play the game, hopefully they won't mind me spending too much time away from them :3

"... and so, we want you to go in there and clear the damn things out!" the fox townsman said.

Sighing I shifted my stance, the plate armour was heavy and hot, but it was always best to wear it, had to keep up good impressions.

"You are saying some kind of slime beast is grabbing people and turning them into slime beasts as well? Well, lucky for you I came along, my sword has so many enchantments it will tear the thing apart with one stroke!" I replied, keeping an air of bravado, "And with this amulet, my body is untouchable by magic!" both correct, as my coin purse will attest, being a hired blade meant, first of all, staying alive. And with the amount of crazy shit going on in the world, well, cheating a little was never a bad thing.

"Then you will do it?" the second townsman, a rabbit, asked, his eyes glued to my sword, taking in all the detail.

"Yeah, sure, now, lets talk payment!" I replied, grinning widely, we were getting to the second most important part of my business, arranging payment. Killing, hunting, finding, it was all miles behind the 'Sell' and 'Payment', doesn't matter how good a swords-woman you are, how great your tracking skills, fuck up either of those two and you can't make a living out of it.

I had left the plate armour behind, opting instead for a light chain shirt and some shin guards, letting my tail free the dark black, skunk-patterned fur now horridly stained with green gunk, I trudged through the swamp.

"Kill a monster they said, a hundred gold in gems they said... they didn't say shit about this fucking swamp!" I snarled for perhaps the twentieth time that hour, "How the fuck am I supposed to find anything in- Gah..." my voice cut off as something blue caught my eye, not just the green-blue of most marsh things, but this was a bright, navy blue.

Standing about five foot eight, it was vaguely fox-like but very very blue, from its toes to its head.

"Alright you piece of shi-" I began, starting to step forward only to find my boot stuck in the mud. Sparing a glance down I noticed the water I was standing in was only a thin layer, underneath the murky sludge a deep blue became apparent, "Ahh fuck..." I exclaimed, realising that this was not going to be a good day.

In the moment my attention was drawn from it the creature itself had sped toward me, moving much faster than I would have thought possible. Bringing my sword up and around, I hacked at it. The thing didn't seem to even try to dodge, likely expecting my blade to not harm them at all. They were very very wrong.

The faceless creature reeled back, my sword had sliced right through its limb, the hand falling to the ground with most of the forearm, its upper arm and shoulder already turning a burnt black as the sword's magic spread, killing the thing. It wasn't over though, apparently, I felt a tingling in my ankle and looked down, the blue gunk was rising up my leg, apparently eating through my armour and clothing as it went.

"Fuck, get off ME!" I yelled, stabbing downward with the sword but to no avail, the latex-like substance seemed to just keep creeping up my leg, eating away at my gear as it went. It was then I felt it, in my mind, 'relax, calm, you are not in danger' it whispered softly but somehow I knew it for a lie, it had to be something psyonic rather than magical, nothing magical could affect my mind, not with my amulet on. Planting my right foot on a patch of solid ground, I heaved, knee bent and stabbed down at the same time, right beside my foot.

The scream in my head, the thing under me dying, the sword's magic finally overwhelming it, was a welcome 'sound'. My leg now free, I dragged myself away from the now bubbling black pool, desperate to get away from the stuff.

Breathing heavily, I lay on my back looking up, glad to be out of that one in one piece and still monochromatic. About then I felt a tingle at my shin.

Sitting up, and looking down, I saw what I feared, the blue was spreading. It was thinner now, but it seemed like eating its way through my armour and clothing was giving it enough matter to keep on growing, spreading up my leg almost to my knee.

"Oh fuck, oh fuck..." I whispered over and over, a litany of fear at what was happening. It was then that a soft voice cut through my thoughts, pressing into my mind.

'You killed the source, we are alone now, but you will make a good pet, a fine toy to work with...' its thoughts were weak though, I had to fight back.

Instinctively kicking at it, I felt the tingling start on my other leg and cursed myself for a fool, 'Soon, soon...' it kept whispering to me and I tried to get my legs under me, to flee from it, but I never got more than five paces before one of my feet snagged on something and I fell forward, crying out in pain.

Panting, snarling like a wounded animal, I tried to crawl, just to get away from the thing advancing up my thighs. Suddenly I squealed, paws flying to my crotch as the stuff passed over my groin, sealing away both my rear passage and my slit beneath the substance. Shuddering now, my groin tingling, the stuff advanced up and up, passing over the swell of my breasts, eating away the chain links in lines, consuming the metal, cloth and leather, leaving my chest open to the air.

It stopped, suddenly, as it reached my medallion.

The mental screech from the thing when it touched the metal pendant almost knocked me out and with my vision reeling I realised the stuff had started to spread again, flowing up my neck, over my muzzle and finally, over my eyes themselves, giving the whole world a blue tint.

It was then I passed out, my brain just unable to take any more of the freakish prison that had built itself around me.

-

Air! I needed air, I need to breathe...

Blinking my eyes, I realised that I wasn't hyperventilating even as a soft whistling sound caught my attention.

The world was still very blue, but it was getting darker. Looking down at my arm I realised that the blue latex-like stuff covering it was growing a deeper blue, hiding away the black beneath.

It was thickening.

Whimpering, crawling back the way I thought I had come, feeling branches and other matter dissolve under my paw as the latex eats it for mass, I finally located my sword, mainly by the faint glint of light it gave off, but mostly by blind luck.

'Wait, you would kill us both?' the voice was soft in my mind, nowhere near the intensity or possessiveness of the one from before, 'Please don't, I will let you see...'

Suddenly, the world grew bright again, still blue tinted, but I could see that not only did I have the sword in my paw, but I had, as I had guessed, turned it, tip pointing to my belly. ~"You would have me live like this? A freak, a slave to you?"~ I thought hard, pushing my thoughts toward the entity, ~"I will not, I will die before that..."~

The blade tip inched toward me.

'WAIT!' the voice cried out, 'Something went wrong, the thing on your chest, I can no more control you than stop you from killing us with that blade. Lets just... lets live a while, like this, its odd not being able to control my puppet...'

I noted the sound of consternation and chuckled inwardly, ~"You want a peace? A truce? What do I get out of it, what can you offer me to-"~ my words were cut off as a sudden pressure at my muzzle, slit and rear made themselves known.

'Pleasure, intense, continuous, pleasure.' the voice spoke, each of the shafts pushing further in with each word, spreading me open, making me whimper, silently, into my mind.

-

I am not sure how long I was out there, like that, writhing in delight, trapped by the new skin in that place, but I knew it had been a while, maybe a few days.

'So, do we have a deal?' the voice asked, softly, pulling me to awareness with a tenderness I would not have expected.

~"Well, I guess, but... lets take it a step at a time. And don't do that again unless I ask, okay?"~ I replied, not bothering to hide the warmth I felt just then, the heated after glow of days spent in the throws of orgasm.

Gaining my feet, I took stock of my situation.

Sword, check.

Scabbard, check.

Clothing... fuck.

Trudging through the muck, finding it oddly handy that none actually stuck to me, I found a cabin, most likely a travellers rest stop and liberated a large, hooded cloak from there, donning the garment, ~"Don't eat this, we will need it to remain hidden, to get my things."~ I commanded, the only reply being a soft.

'Very well.'

A short trek and I found myself on the edge of town, looking at the muddy village, I realised that my eyes were compensating for the blue nearly automatically. Squinting a little, I whispered into my mind, ~"Now this will take some strategy..."~
