thats highschool for you- Chapter 1
"NstNstNstNstNstNst" the music was making my head hurt, but that was all part of the job... i was getting paid to do what i loved, so it was bound to have a catch... "relax your body, relex your body, relax your mind, relax your mind, relax your soul, relax your body... NstNstNstNst..."

As I switch with the next DJ, the over head anounces my name and says that I did a great job, while it also anounces the next fur up to te decks, a jaguar by the name Dj RAPtur3. I jogged past and gave him a high-five and wished him luck. next thing I know I'm back, behind the DJ's booth, so I headed to the restroom.
"Hey, yo! DJ Brutee, right?"
"DJ Brugi pronounced broo xi, like in chinese or japanese" I said, while washing my hands at a rather small and grafittied sink.
"Oh, yeah! So Brugi, here's your cash, $2000 like we said, and some information on the next rave and its location. hope you could help us out with that one too, but if not its no biggie." said a large lion in neon green and blue tripp pants, and a lemon yellow hoodie.
"haha, thanks Sam, but I think ill just go to the next one instead of DJing at it. I gotta get some time in for my poi too!" I laugh as he hands me the wad of cash.
"Aight man, well hit me up sometime and we'll chill." He said, staring to walk out of the bathroom.
I mumbled to my self, "haha fat chance, if my mom knew her 14 year old son was hanging out with an 18 year old raver... She'd kill you and then she'd come for me.." and started walking toward the bus stop half a block away on Main St. When I got on, the bus lady, a rather short lemur, looked me up and down and glanced over at the ATM-like machine that you use to deposit the fare. I slipped in my change and quickly took a seat for the ride to hotel I was staying at for the anime convention.
The bus stopped two blocks from the hotel, and I decided that I would just walk the rest of the way to clear my head from the excitement I had left behind. I walked the final 2 blocks, bought a Fresh Mountian Spring Water for $3 at the convenience store in the hotel lobby, and rode the elevator up to the 8th floor. When Igot to room 816 i stopped, and knowing that everyone would be awake when I walked in, knocked. The door was flung open and i was instantly glomped (a mix between a hug and a tackle) by a short, well, Talliha.
No one really knew what all Talliha was, a little bit of otter, mixed with some sort of canine, and maybe a lupine mixed in there too. She was really pretty short, and round but all ways meant well, and had a smile on her face. Behind her stood Michelle, Alexi, Deborica, Peyton, and DeMich, and while they were fror the most part all like Talliha, there were a few exceptions, such as with height in Michelle, and Peyton's cases, and also with weight, with Peyton, being extremely skinny as compared to the others. needless to say, there were a lot of furs, and species all in the same room, which tended to make it quite complicated for them all.
As I stood, the first thing i heard was, "Hey can you go grab some sodas from the lobby?", coming from Michelle.
"yeah, no problem." I said as I backed out into he hall, and walked towards the ellevator. Once in the lobby, I Wwalked over to the convenience center, and grabbed an assortment of sodas for everyone, and as I went up to the register I saw a house cat peeking at me behind the snack shelf. So I set the drinks down on the front counter and went over to look at the 'snacks'.
When I took a look at the feline, I noticed the red tip on his tail, which seemed out of place against his black fur., he looked at me uneasily, and as I saw his beautiful grey-blue eyes I knew that i needed to know more about him. He looked around my age and that was what finally made up my mind to talk to him.
I held out my hand, "Hey, the names Brugi. What's yours?" and as soon as he took my hand i smiled to let him know i was friendly.
"Hi, the name's Axen..."
