Inferno and Serpent- A Mysterious Time Chapter 1
This is my first time writing something so I hope you enjoy!

I use my own creation of characters these were made by me.
The day was sunny with the grass flowing in the fields, tree's branches are swinging, and mountains of long range. Beyond those mountains was a big open field with trees and buildings. Not just any kind of buildings, they were made out of stone and had different textures to them; some had vines growing on them. But this village was not your ordinary village with people in it; no this was habited by dragons.
These dragons had been there for ages with not much to do. There are some dragons that are big, some small, and some tall. These dragons are friendly to certain animals, but not all of them are friendly. Each of these dragons have special element to help protect them. Some are fire, ice, wind, earth, and electricity.
In the dragon market it all seemed so normal with dragon selling items, dragons buying items, and some just shouting to get there items. "Come on Serpent we are going to be late." Said the red dragon while running through the market. "Could you wait for me I'm getting tired of running inferno." Serpent said while running behind inferno. Serpent was a blue female dragoness with dark blue eyes and a greyish under belly and a bit bigger than Inferno. "Well hurry up or by the time we get there it is going to be closed." Inferno said. Inferno was the red male dragon that had green eyes with a golden under belly, he also loves Serpent, but he doesn't know if she likes him (little does he know she does). "Ok I will try to keep up." She said.
As the two continue their way through the market, they come upon a stand that looked like it was selling some old looking items. They had stopped there panting as they were out of breath. "I see you two were in a rush to get here I was just bout to close up." Said the yellow dragon behind the stand. "Oh hey Thunder." Inferno said while panting. "Hey Inferno! What brings you two here?" "Well we came to see if you got anything new." "As a matter of fact I do." Thunder said while reaching for something behind the stand. Thunder had pulled a small circular item that had a string attached to it. In the outer part of the center it had some unknown writing on it. Within the writing it had a blue sapphire gem stuck within it. "What is that Thunder?" said serpent in a fascinated way. "I do not know I found it laying on the ground on my way here today." "It's beautiful, oh Inferno I want this it seems so special to me. Please get it for me PLEASE!" Inferno had thought about it for a minute. "Ok serpent I will get it for you. How much would you say it's worth Thunder?" Thunder thought for a second. "I'll take twenty gems." "Sounds fair..." Inferno said with understanding look. "Oh thank you inferno for getting me this." Serpent said happily. "ohh... it was nothing. Anyway I was... ahh... wondering....if.........you know............ ummm....." "Say what u got to say Inferno, don't be shy bout it." "Well um.... Wanna go out somewhere tonight." He said in a nervously way. "I... don't know." She then thought for a minute (this could be it I could finally find out if he loves me) "Sure I'd love to get me at eight tonight." "Ok see you then serpent." As serpent started to fly off Inferno went back to his house to think about what he was going to do tonight.
As it was getting close to dusk Inferno had set out to Serpent's house. But on his way he made a stop to get some flowers at the flower shop, just a few blocks from Serpents house. "Hello there, how may I help you today young dragon." "Yes you can, I'm looking to get some flowers." "Anything specific." "Yes, they have to be blue." "I got a flower for you." She pulls out a flower that looks like a blue sapphire that sparkles when the sun shines into it. It was an amazing flower. "Nice I'll take it. My date will love this." "ok that will be five gems." "Here you are." Inferno said handing the gems and taking the flowers. "Thank you and have a nice day." Inferno leaves the flower shop and continues his way to Serpents house.
Inferno finally arrives at Serpents home. Since Serpent is eighteen she lives alone in her own home. Outside of her home was a beautiful flower bed with blue and red flowers within a fenced in area. Inferno walks up the steps to her front door, it was covered in a white with red dots on the door with a welcome sign. Inferno knocks on the door three times. He hears a faint voice. It must have been Serpent. "Coming!" said the faint voice. Inferno hears some clicking of an unlocking door as the door slowly opens on the other side he sees Serpent and he pulls the flowers out. "Oh are those for me!" she said in a happily tone. "Yes they are." "Oh you're too kind. Here I'll take those and put them in a vase." Inferno gives the flowers to her and she walks off. Serpent thinking (he must really like me I going to make a move soon and then I will know then). "How you doing in there Serpent. Do you need any help?" Serpent comes back to reality and puts the flowers in the vase she had. "No I'm fine I'm on my way." Serpent walks back to the door. "Ahh... I see you are still wearing that thing I bought u today." "Ohh yes I just love this thing I'm still wondering what it is though." "Hmm... I might know someone who knows what it is, but for now let's go its getting dark and we to get there soon or we won't see it." "If you don't mind can you tell me where we are going?" "You will see it when we get there, now come on lets go." Inferno said getting ready to fly off. "Ok!" Serpent said excitedly.
The two were flying over open fields' rivers and mountains until Inferno said "down there." As the two flew down to the ground they walked around stretching their legs and felling the ground. "Here we are this is it." Inferno said happily. "This is it?" Serpent said looking confused. "Not all of it." Inferno said in a sarcastic way. He walked over to an area covered in bushes. "Serpent over here." Serpent walked over to him and inferno moved some of the bushes out of the way. What she saw was amazing. An open area with mountains in the distant with their white tops of fluffy white snow, and a sunset just right above the peak of those mountains giving it a shining look. "oh Inferno this is wonderful." She said happily than ever she was. "I thought you might like this place." "I don't like it, I love it. Come over here and sit with me." Inferno walked and sat next to her. "Oh this is just beautiful Inferno." "I know it is. But there is something I got to tell you and it is very important." " ok I'm listing." "well um....( come on say it) well I just wanted to tell you that..." Inferno was interrupted by a flash in the sky and then a loud clash of thunder was heard and he saw a strange figure fall from the sky. "look out." He moved Serpent out of the way. The strange figure then crashed down to the ground where they were just standing at. They walked up to the thing that crashed they saw it was white horns sticking out of its head it had two wings that were white with a blue shade. It was all scratched up like it was just in a fight. "Please..........Help..... Me..." it said in a faint voice like it was dying.
