New Face on Ponyville part 3
Diamond Race woke up on her second day in Ponyville and went to take in the sun, then out if nowhere a grey pegasus landed in front of her "can I help you?"
"I brought you a letter"
"oh, thank you" Diamond looked back at the pegasus and noticed the pegasus had full on wall-eyes "who are you, exactly?"
"I'm the mailmare, everyone calls me Derpy"
"I can't imagine why" Diamond with a large amount of sarcasm
"neither can I, seeya"
"seeya"
Derpy started to fly again as Diamond opened her letter
she started reading aloud "Diamond Race of Fillydelphia, your citizenship has been accepted, a guide of laws, finances and general information will be delivered to you, we hope your time will here will prove pleasent and useful for everyone"
"woohoo, I got my place here, now I need to find some work, but where?"
as a realisation hit her she ran to the market, and right on cue was a familiar orange pony
"Applejack, me again"
"Diamond, you look a good mood today, back for another fritter?"
"sounds nice, but i was looking for work"
"well, we could always use a coupla extra hooves over at Sweet Apple Acres"
"Sweet Apple Acres?"
"thats were I live and work, over there, see it"
"yea"
"we'ed apprciate the help"
"who do I talk to?"
"Just look for my brother Big Macintosh, the Red guy"
"I'll head over then, good luck"
"you too, Fire Hooves"
Diamond made her way to Sweet Apple Acres and found the red stallion
"um, Applejack sent me here, do you need to help with the orchard?
"Eeyup"
"ok were do I start?"
"get the apples over there to the carts and bring 'em to the barn"
"you got it"
as she headed to the first tree she saw Big Macintosh buck the apples out of one of the trees, Diamond followed but was instead jolsted by the impact, " I don't think bucking's for me"
"Eeyup, just take the cart back and come back for the next one"
"ok, i'll be right back."
after a full day of dragging carts she met Applejack on the way out
"Well I've done all I can today, but I can't feel my back"
"A sign of a good days work, here's your pay for it" Applejack
"20 BITS, that's a lot for one day"
"don't worry about it, sugar"
"heard anything from Rainbow Dash?"
"she seems pretty saddlesore"
"oh man, there's gotta be something I can do"
Diamond went back to the town square trying to think of what to do, then it hit her like a ton of bricks.
