Callion: Forgotten Lands
This is my first story that i've written in a weekly series i'm going to do. All of these characters are mine and so is the story, if you enjoyed it leave some feedback!
Callion: Forgotten Lands
Deep in the echo's of the large expansive cave, Callion and her team of mercanaries and warriors were making their way through the tunnles. Chatter was coming form the group behind her and she spat in animosity at them "Hush up! If you make any louder a noise you'll alert the beast!" looking back at Callion in fright the group silenced. Continuing their venture into the depths they could hear the loud snoring of a gigantic creature in the distance. "Quick let's head back it's too dangerous..." one of the men said his voice quivering, but Callion adamently continued. As they came to a much larger room it was decorated in an eccentric fashon of bones and remains. A loud yell came from a tunnel above, Callion and the others had encountered a large group of grimlings that jump from the tunnel landing on the ground in front of them. "You shouldn't have come humans!" the grimling said in a tone full of hatred. The group leaped after Callion and the others, Callion was thrown to the side and imobilized by a large rock crushing her legs. She could only watch as her team were being beaten and begining to be devowerd. Three aproched her with swords and clubs then... shink! Darkness filled Callion's eyes for the longest time as she fell into an abyss of sudden slumber. With a ruch of adrenaline Callion awoke, her heart pounding and coverd in sweet. Her long black hair almost even with her waist was all clumped in a tangled mess. "What a bizzare dream... i must go see the commander." She jumped form her loft and cleaned herself up, she grabbed some worn leather chaps and breast plate then bolted out the door rushing towards the Starward Knight's Castle. "Halt state your buisness!" a guard stopped Callion just before she could enter the castle gates, "I am Callion i don't have time for nonsense i need to see the commander!" she pushed the guard to the side and ran through. Walking down the long corradors Callion could see a fimilar face, it was Chance she had been Callion's antagonist ever since they were kids. She stood their her dark black hair covering one side of her face and amber eyes looking at the ground. "Hey Chance have you seen the commander?" "He's in a meeting with the council, let's hope he dosen't screw anything up..." Chance leaned aganst the wall crossing her arms over her robe and waited in silence. "Don't speak so malign of the commander it cold get you in trouble" Callion stated with a smerk. Callion burst into the meeting room "Commander i--" Callion was in the middle of the meeting all eyes on her. "What is the meaning of this?!" one elder said, "How amoral can you be to intrude on a private meeting?! Have you no sense!" commotion was going on in the room. "Silence!" the eldest yelled banging his gavel aganst the desk. " Callion you are the epitome of the Starward Knight's, yet you burst into the meeting like some rabid orc?" "I'm sorry for any trouble i've caused sir, but it was important i speak with the commander emediatly..." Callion said stepping back with her head hanging low. "So be it i absolve you of your intrusion, let the meeting be dismissed for today" the elder cracked his gavel again and one by one they left the room. "So what is it you wanted to talk to me about my amiable knight?" he said with a soft smile. "Well it's about this dream i had somthing went wrong on our latest venture..." "Now now Callion if need be we should discuss this with your fellow team members..." "Yes sir i'll go fetch the and be back soon." Callion raced away almost in the blink of an eye. My young knight you still know not of the dangers that await you in you quest..." the commander sighed a walked off... (To be continued)
