New face in Ponyville part 1
"okay, so your name is Diamond Race?" a Grey pony was behind a desk, looking at a piece of paper
"Yes, that's it" on the other side of the desk was a Cyan unicorn with a yellow mane and tail, her cutie mark was 2 crossed checkered flags
"your occupation?"
"I'm a foot racer"
"where are you from?"
"I'm moving here from Fillydelphia"
"ok sign here"
as the Cyan unicorn looked at the quill, hier horn started to glow and brought the Quill to the ink "ok, and is that it?"
"you have temporary citizenship, we will send your information to Canterlot, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna will have the final say, thank you and good luck"
as the Unicorn walked outside she felt the hunger of a full day of travel start to catch up with her, as she walked around the town square she looked at all the various stalls, then a orange pony caught her eye, she walked over seeing a new face and a chance for some food.
"hello, are you open?" Diamond asked the orange pony
"we sure are, sugarcube, what ya hankerin' for?" the orange pony said in a very friendly tone
"well, how much for one of those apple fritters?"
"3 bits, mam"
as the unicorn levitated the coins she began chatting "so what's your name?"
"Applejack, pleased to meet ya"
"Name's Diamond Race"
"ain't seen you around before"
"just came in from Fillydelphia"
"well in that case, welcome to Ponyville, need to find anything"
"well, I was hoping for a place to stay"
"you should check out the library, over there, Twilight's kept an ear to the ground lately"
"thank you, I may be back when i'm hungry"
"when you had that apple fritter, I know you'll be back"
Diamond chuckled as she walked away towards the library.
Arriving at the library, she saw a dragon coming outside with some books
"Can I help you?" the Dragon asked her
"I'm Diamond Race, I'm looking for, damn what was that name, Twilit, no, TWILIGHT, that was it"
"Inside" he said, his mind obviously on his work.
Diamond entered the library proper but seeing no one called out "Twilight!"
"Inside voice Spike"
"No this Diamond Race, I'm looking for a place to say, someone told me you'd know"
out of a door on the top floor came a Lavender unicorn, looking rather curious
"Twilight, I presume?"
"yes, who told you about me?"
"if I remember right, it was Applejack"
"oh, Applejack, she's right there is a room here for let"
"how much?"
"10 bits for the week"
"sounds ok, know where I can find a race around here?"
"race?"
"I'm not called Diamond Race for nothing, Fastest this side of Equstria!"
"IS. THAT. SO!" a voice rang out in a strangly offended tone
Diamond turned to see a cyan pegasus with a mane coloured the same as a rainbow.
"and you are?"
"Rainbow Dash, Fastest Pegasus ever, best young flier and two successful Sonic Rainbooms"
"quite a resume, you're hired" Diamond said in a sarcastic tone
"you tounge probably runs faster than you" Rainbow replied, offended
Diamond's posture locked, her face morphing to one of anger and insult "is that a challenge, Rainbow?"
"Yes it is, you, me Running of the Leaves trail"
