The Bull, Fox, and a Horse

By

Farell Foxx

The Bull rears its horned head,

Glistening, and snorting and stomping his hooves

Muscular and blackened

The Fox,

Feminine and light on his feet,

Tears streaming from emerald eyes,

Fur swaying in the wind,

Helpless

The Horse,

Blotched with brown and white,

His mane flying, and eyes wide,

The snapping point is like the thunder overhead,

A gunshot rings out and they begin to brawl,

The fox cries out and doubles over in pain.

His heart is breaking,

He doesnt want conflict.

The Bull swings and punches,

The Horse kicks and stabs,

Like a storm the two whirl about.

The only pain is the foxs,

The swords swing,

My heart is bleeding,

Dripping lifes essence,

Why must you fight?

Roses bloom over a dirt mound,

A stone at its head,

Why must they forget?

Now that I am dead?
