Sonic then flipped the other switch, and a thick green gas vented its way into the room. Sonic grabbed a gas mask, and waited. Unfortunately, bith Amy and Rouge didn't have masks so both were knocked out by tha gas. Their worlds went black, and both girls fainted. Half an hour later, once the gas had cleared, Amy woke up to find herself hanging upside-down, her ankles and hands bound by the same ropes that held Rouge, who was hanging next to her. She noticed a tight gag in her their mouths, which prevented either of them from screaming for help. Sonic appeared in front of them, along with Knuckles, Shadow and Tails.
