The sound of the alarm clock filled the room, announcing that it was time for the young catwolf to get up, rather she wanted to or not. With a lot of grumbling and some words that would be considered improper for a girl, a blackish grey paw slipped from underneath the blankets and started feeling around the small bedside table for the offending alarm clock. With a bit of effort I managed to get up, I knew that there was no way to get out of going to school, specially this close to the winter break. I let out a soft whimper as my bare, silver colored paw pads hit the cold wood floor. "It's going to be a long, cold day." I mumbled to myself, knowing that it would seem like the day would last for ever, considering it was the last day of school before the break. "Maybe it will snow." I said with a sigh, knowing that it was possible, but it probably not happen knowing my luck. I pad across the cold floor shivering a bit as the cool of the house nips at me. I may be covered in a layer of lovely fur, but it just didn't keep the cold off completely. I dug through the closet, looking at all of the clothes that I had hung up and folded up on the shelves. It took me a moment to find something worth wearing. I finally settled onto something simple, tossing a few articles of clothing onto the bed, and then making my way to my dresser, pulling out a few more bits of clothe and tossing them on the bed. I started stripping out of the clothes that I had on, witch was nothing more than a long T-shirt that looked more like a dress on my small frame. I did a little wiggle as I took my panties off and tossed them into the hamper with the shirt. I walked across the room to my bed, stopping at the mirror. I really didn't like mirrors, but I had one in my room. I looked over myself, smiling at the sight. Sera asked sitting down with us to eat, setting a cub of tea in front of me. "More like ready for it to be over." Alex said with a sigh. "I don't see why we have to go. I mean it's a Friday, why can't we just stay home?" He asked looking over to Sera with pleading eyes, he and I both knowing that there was only the smallest chance that she would actually say yes. "Yeah, I mean it's a Friday." I said looking up from my meal. "I mean its not like we're going to be doing anything today." "You to have to go. Alex, you all ways hate school and have some reason why you shouldn't go, and Lilly, you don't want to go cause you have gym and I know how you hate that." Sera said giving us a look. "Well you would to." I said looking up at her and putting my fork down. "I mean it's like nine below zero out there." I said crossing my arms. "Oh you act like they make you go out side in this weather." She said smiling at me and reaching to take out plates. Alex didn't bother adding to the argument. "You would be surprised." I said sipping the last of my tea and then getting up to head back to my room to grab my backpack and the other things that I would need for the school day. I left my room, closing door behind me and heading back down the stairs, seeing that everyone was getting ready and putting on their shoes. "You ready yet slowpoke?" Sera asked as she put on her jacket. "I can't help that looking this good takes time, I mean you should try it some time." I said smiling, knowing that she knew that I was joking about it. I mean it wasn't even cloudy out side when I was walking into the school." I said as we walked across the room, heading for the side doors and to the freezing beyond. "You go on ahead. I'm going to walk home with Hibi and Lexis." I said pulling out my bag, thankful that I didn't make it to a class, meaning that there was no homework to deal with on the break. "All right, I'll see you there." He said smiling and started walking out the door. "You three be careful." He said as him and his friend walked out the door. "Mew!"
