She felt him enter her time and again. The pulse of his shaft against her womb as violent claws digging into her flesh. Their words a muted cry of pain and pleasure as only the wretched scent of sex hung in the air.

"Hey, how's it goin' Jen?"

The young girl's ears perked up as she turned around with a melancholy smile. Her shoulders hung low today, even though she knew better, but she didn't have the spirit to hide her emotions now. Her eyes were filled with the depression of a soul that's lived in doubt for too many years. "Oh, Hi Jakob, how has your day been?"

Her body cried out in pain, the momentary pleasure of climax overwhelmed by the disgust she felt right now. Harsh, cruel, beastial, he'd lost the tender love and caring he'd once held for her. Letting out an empty moan of acceptance as she gave him an invitingly forced purr.

Always so formal, thought the inter-breed, she couldn't even take the satisfaction of using abbreviated words. Reminded him of those robots on T.V. actually, incapable of using such simple slang. Why did it always feel she was full of anxiety?

He was over thinking again, having to remind himself of such problems as he gave a light-hearted laugh which only seemed to worry his companion.

"Oh it's nothing, just thinking to myself again. I've been good though, kinda busy with work but c'est la vie." Raising his arms in a dismissive manner as if to throw such cares unto the heavens. The defeated curl of her brow told him that she was worried again, maybe he talked too much as well.

His claws dug in harder now, blood flowing from her waist. Her mind began to seal itself away from her body, hiding in absolute fear of her situation even as her body began to convulse around the invading flesh. Her partner letting out a fearful wail as his body tensed, his seed warming the passages of her lifeless womb.

The tabby's ears fell back against her head releasing a sorrowful breath, knowing that simple gesture always made Jakob feel wretched. Her hand resting against his shoulder, forcing an nearly painful smile, "I do hope you are not trying to overwork yourself. If you really wanted you could move into my apartment. I know Trask could be conv..."

"Jen, you know Trask doesn't like me." His draconic tail whipped to the side in an irritated manner, a habit he could never overcome. "Besides, you know how territorial he is." Jakob's claws digging into the bench they sat upon as his long, vulpine ears curled back in a frightening gesture.

It wasn't always like this, she thought, laying next to his still body running her claws through his soft chest fur. She'd fell in love with the tomcat, once, a lifetime ago. A time, long ago, when he'd been a kind and devoted lover. Now he was so distant, so cold, what once had been love was nothing more than sex. Dragging her claws against the filth that seemed to cover her now.

"I..." her hands curled against themselves, mussing the glossy orange fur of her soft tabby pelt. It was obvious that she was having trouble trying to accept Trask's disgust with Jakob. "I... just wanted to be helpful... to... you..." Eyes transfixed upon the floor in shame, never able to look him in the eyes after such comments. She hated making him angry, hated disappointing him. She couldn't bear to bring pain to her friend in such a thoughtless manner.

Why after so many years had she chosen to go out with Trask? She'd known for so long that Jakob had a crush on her even if he never admitted it. Maybe that was the problem, because no matter how comfortable she was with Jakob, it was always Trask that came to sweep her off her feet. How could such a depressing character as Jakob have compared to Trask's romantic endeavors?

The waters ran over her naked form, nearly tearing at her fur as the shampoo soaked into her fur, forcing herself clean. She could still feel his warmth inside her. Feel his seed as it rested inside of her womb. She didn't want this anymore, she couldn't bear this anymore. She... her spirit had broke, losing any further thoughts of regret and sorrow.

"Why do you even deal with him Jen? You know you could do better..." He looked at her, his gaze fixed in absolute fear. He'd tell her how he felt now, he'd forget his worries this day and say it. "I could..."

She turned to look at him sharply. Even with those soulless eyes her gaze could have cut into the very hearts of men. "You will enjoy yourself like you always have and continue as you have in the past." Her hands were trembling, her breath shallow, but vigorous. Was she trying to argue with herself as well?

"I... yeah, I'll be fine Kat." His half-hearted smile masking the pain that surged through his heart at that one moment. Holding her hands in his as he cupped them gently, pulling her away from her own pain. In the end, he gave a sigh, they had both been to afraid to speak the truth.

She walked back into the bedroom, pulling the sheets open. It was warm, she thought, slipping beneath the covers. Head falling to the pillow with a light shift of feathers as she rolled over, hands against her chest as she moved closer to him. She'd fallen in love with Trask all those years ago... She could stay in love with him as long as he wanted his precious sex. She could learn to love him over again, she had to.
