Chapter Two: Comparison

Koruak looked very awestruck and then he finally saw Tarith's figure and compared it to his own.

"We're almost the same. Except for a few things here and there. But; look; we both have his eyes."

Kriyo's eyes were blue, and so were Koruak's eyes. And so were Tarith's!

"I-I can't believe it! You're my half sister!"

and he hugged her close to him.

Tarith squealed and hugged Koruak back, "Oh that is wonderful! I have an older brother! Even if you are just my half-brother. I don't care. You are family."

She hugged him close, happy to finally see him and know him as a family member.

"As for your other question, I am 13 Koruak."

Koruak let go and said awkwardly; "so, uh, waddwe do now? I can go back to my place, a shit hole mind you, and get some materials to help rebuild this sorry place. Eh; no offense there sis."

Tarith giggled, "None taken. I have to go get some food anyways. There are some wild berry bushes around here and I can catch small game to eat. Hope you like raw meat, because I can't cook."

she sat up and kissed his cheek, "But I would be so happy if you moved in with me."

Koruak looked at her and said; "No problem. And interestingly enough; my 'house' is only down the street. Huh; funny; we've lived next to eachother and now we're just figuring it out that we're half brother and half sister. That's what you call ironic. As for raw meat; ehh, I can't cook either, but I am a relatively fast learner. And luckily enough; I was gifted with fire, not ice or something useless around here in coldville. It's not called coldville really, but you know what I mean."

Tarith nodded, "I know. I have Earth. Though I never learned how to use it properly. Now lets get going. It's going to be warm for the first several nights, but around here, the weather can change in two days. So lets take advantage of the opportunity while we have time."

She gave her brother one last hug before standing up, starting for the door.

But before either of them got to the door; there was a knock and then a note slipped under the door.
