Mission Sergal
This is my first story, please give advice and ideas to what i should do next
Chapter one- Waking up
I opened my eyes, looking up at a metalic roof of the stasias pod, my visoin blurry from the deep sleep i was coming out off. As began to stir in the bed i felt the straps around me, keeping me in place. I looked to my left to see a small window. My eyes were making it hard to make out what i saw, but i could make out figures moving around, Just then the pod door made a beeping noise, i then felt a thud feeling as the sealed door opened up. I looked forward to see a dark figure floating in the Zero-G. The figure leaned in and said
"Dr.Night, your waking up from deep space staisis sleep, nod your head if you can hear me", he asked.
I nodded my head slowly, my mind completly hazedfrom the drugs they gave me. He motioned his hand to my restraits and unclipped them, i strted to drift into him, as he unclipped the final restrait. he help me stabalize myself in the zero-G. he then guided me over to a control unit that activated Artifitial gravity. I then felt it kick in as we lowered to the ground and i began to fell the pressure of my legs, trying to maintain my body upright. The stranger then said to me
Dr.Night, Try to sustain your legs, you have been asleep for 2 years, your body may take some time to wake up"
I nodded as i understood him, my vision slowly coming back to me, he walked over to the wall and opened a telecom and said
"All stasis canidates, please make your way to med bay for full observation"
He clicked it off and walked back over to me. As he approached i got a better image of him, it was a young wolf, his fur brown and his eyes blue. He handed me a towel and said
"Dr.night, my name is Seamus, i was assiagned to wake you uo from staisis", he walked over to a locker and pull out her uniform and handed it to her,
"Put this on, once your changed call for me to return and i will take you to your quarters"
"thank you seamus"
I stutter as my mouth was both dry and jittery from the lack of use. He nods and walks out of the room and into the main hall. As soon as i was able to put the suit on, i walked over to the door and gave it a knock. Seamus entered again and said
"follow me" he then proceded to walk down the main hall , me follow the best i could, still un able to walk correctly from my weak muscles. We apporached a door and he opened it and said, this will be your living courters for the next few days til me send you out to the planets surface. i noded and he walked over to the window of the decent sized room and showed me the beautful planet of Vilous. I smiled and looked out it, the view of the planet amazing, i also saw the rest of the huge ship aswell, smaller ships breaking off and heading towards the planets surface. Seamus then said,
" Beautiful isnt it , anyways you have 3 hours before your needed to be on the bridge for Debriefing on the current mission, my addvice is practice getting used to your body again, it takes time"
. After that he saluted me and walked out into the hall. i stared at him as he left, my eys fixated on the amazig view.
"Such a lovely planet", i said to myself." i hope our mission to make better contact with its locals will end well."
