Chapter 8: The Dark Tactician is Born

The world around Daniel had become completely still. The fires from the helicopters halted, the bodies around him frozen in time. Even he, Daniel, could not move a muscle. He only heard the voice inside him. The voice of his evil self.

"I understand now, Daniel. I listened to Uraku well, and I can piece together what plan is beign set in motion by the wise phoenix. What Uraku says is true. You will one day be overcome by me. Well...that was my plan, anyway."

"Yet I cannot stand by and watch as the one I love seperates us, even though we are one. He loves you, but not me. Love crosses the bounds of good and evil...and it hurts to hear what he says about me...about us."

"However, as hurt as I am, I am a logical entity. I mean not to brag as I tell you how much wiser I am. The 'evil' that I am ignores all emotion, and thinks of only the facts, and the logic behind it. I see what Shah is doing now...and I applaude his tact. When Uraku told me Shah had come to him after we ran, I questioned why such an event ever occured. Didn't Shah say he would never see us again until we returned to the book? Why would Shah lie about something like that? Well, I am confident that he neither Uraku nor Shah had lied. I'm inclined to believe that Shah had seen an obstacle in his prophecy, and came back to tell Uraku what needed to be heard...the truth."

"I will not lie to you. I had plans to take full control of you...but I have a heart that I wish to not have broken if I can help it. Forcing these emotions away could end up my downfall in the future, and I know that's what I will do. If Uraku won't love me, but will love you..."

There was a brief silence.

"Then we will become one not just in body...but in soul. Now."

The world around Daniel began to move again, slowly gaining in speed as the fires returned to their former blaze. Daniel was sitting up on Uraku now, hands clinging into his backfur as the tiger dashed off behind shelter from the eyes of the surround.

They crouched behind a large semi-trailer parked next to a dry cleaner in street with the shocked military. Daniel jumped off of Uraku and looked out into the darkness that was only dimly lit by the blaze that was growing. His mind began to feel numb, and his body started to feel lighter. He thought he would faint from shock before he heard the evil inside him speak again.

"The knowledge I posess, the powerful confidence I have, the courage to move on in the face of danger to get the job done...are yours, Daniel. May your heart be enough to win Uraku's heart, and may my powers be enough to bring you to victory."

Daniel fell to his knees, gasping for air as he felt his body writhe. He groaned out in agony, swinging his head left to right as he tried to cope with the pain. Uraku had returned to his orange tiger form, looking on at Daniel in utter terror.

Daniel's grunts eventually quieted. He held still for a moment. His mind felt an intense sense of calm and purpose...an abundance of knowledge flooding through him. He felt so aware and in control, as if everything that was happening he could have predicted. He had an intense foresight based on what he now knew. He felt...omnipotent.

He slowly stood up, grunting quietly and feeling a slight shock at the sound of his voice. It was deeper now...more masculine than the flamer-boy sound he had before. He turned around to look at Uraku. He couldn't help but smile as he saw the terrified look on his muzzle. Uraku's blue eyes were tearing up, and Daniel knew that Uraku thought he was changed forever. He slowly walked to him, standing close as he spoke in his new voice.

"Uraku...there is only one me, now. I may have become something greater now, but my heart still belongs to you." He reached up and placed a hand on Uraku's shoulder, standing on his tippy toes to try to reach Uraku's height. He still didn't get that high up.

"Be I evil or good does not matter now. Our destinies were laid out, and we must do what we can to achieve what we both know must be done. We're both very powerful, and we can save this world, and defeat Drayak...but we cannot save anything if we are not together."

Daniel flashed back to when he was in prison and the tiger had rushed in to his aid, mauling all who were in his way to reach the human. His paws and eyes were ablaze. He then thought of their recent encounter with the military, where all guns were ready to rip them apart, and the mighty roar of Uraku was nothing compared to what Uraku had presented before. His eyes and paws were not on fire then.

Then there was Aveyi. He remembers mentioning Nick to her during the tournament, and how such a statement incurred such passion from her...such raging passion. During their battle, Aveyi's paws and eyes glowed with a blue flame.

And then, just recently, there was Jalhamut. He lost the one he had just met, and hoped he could make a relationship with, to death, which incurred a green blaze from the cheetah and brought him to unimaginable power to destroy the behemoth as if the job were nothing.

The clues were all in front of him, and Daniel could easily put them together.

"I don't know how many of your kind holds this power, but I've realized that as long as you are fighting for something you hold dear to you..."

He paused, noticing that his hands were dimly glowing purple, flickering lightly as if they were on fire.

"Then you're unstoppable."

His hands dimmed again, gazing into Uraku's eyes with a smile.

Uraku's eyes were shimmering with emotion before he stuttered. "B...but you're not the one I fell in love with..."

Daniel laced his hands with Uraku's paws. "I am...but there's nothing wrong with starting fresh, right?"

Daniel never felt so much power...the power of knowledge. He knew how Uraku was feeling just by logic alone, not experience. He had set himself an objective, to get Uraku to trust and love him again. Achieving such a thing would be a simple task...unlike it was before he and his evil self had fused.

Suddenly, Uraku's pelt glowed with small purple lights. Daniel examined the appearing dots, smirking as he saw great brightness surrounding the tiger's exposed maleness. He knew what his eyes were telling him now. They were giving him directions on how to win Uraku back, and make the tiger WANT to give Daniel another chance. Then Daniel would just have to keep faithful, and Uraku would be satisfied in heart. But for now...he needed to get through to him by other means.

Uraku was weakened by his emotional state at the moment, giving Daniel a chance to take control of the tiger. He walked around the big naked cat, pressing up behind him and wrapping his arms around the tiger's midriff. He pressed his nose into Uraku's backfur, smelling gently at the well-groomed fur. He chuckled quietly before he grabbed both of Uraku's wrists, pushing them up against the semi-trailer they hid behind with a loud thud. He made sure to squeeze tightly around where the purple stars were on his wrists. Uraku let out a gentle grunt, almost growling in frustration, but mostly in a growing lust.

Daniel gazed up and down Uraku's back, seeing several stars spotted along the muscles back there. Along the spine were the brightest of dots, making a nice semi-straight line. He pressed his chin gently into the top of Uraku's back, stroking down and up the length of his upper back slowly. Uraku began growling lowly with an intense lust. Daniel was hitting the right spots at the right times, thanks to his purple dotted guide.

Uraku crouched down a little bit, grasping the iron bar that hung just below the bottom of the semi-trailer that was used as a stair normally. He stuck out his rump into Daniel's groint, rurring out calmly. "Daniel..." Daniel felt a surge of excitement. He was taming the tiger! His plan was working!

Daniel saw a bright purple light spark up by Uraku's ears. He knew what they were telling him to do now. Daniel reached back to his pants, undoing them and dropping them to the ground to let his average sized cock out, already erect and ready to use. He whispered audibly to Uraku, "I'm gonna make you my kitten..." Uraku's body shivered wildly. A purple light burst wildly from Uraku's chest. His heart was fluttering wildly to Daniel's actions. His own heart fluttered too with excitement. He wanted to tame his kitty mate for quite some time, but he thought he'd have to beg for permission. Now it seemed that his knowledge was enough to render Uraku utterly powerless. He licked his lips, feeling pride surge through him as he pressed his hard rod against the exposed tailhole Uraku hungrily presented to him.

Daniel clamped his hands onto those round cheeks, squeezing tightly as he slowly pushed himself forward. His meet barely fit inside the tiger's rear walls, forcing Daniel to push with much force to get inside. Uraku let out a loud growl of pain, red lights surging through Uraku's body. Daniel stopped, always watching to make sure the redness in Uraku's frame dimmed before trying to proceed. He did this until he was about halfway inside.

The purple light in Uraku's heart was flashing wildly now as Uraku begged, "Fuck me hard, Daniel! I've been unfair, and I deserve punishment!" Daniel's heart was on fire with passion. He let the despair and aggrivation he felt earlier from Uraku's behavior drive him to pound himself inside. The tiger let out a loud roar. Daniel ignored the redness that built up in his tiger. Now was the time for punishment...the redder the better.

He pounded hard, grunting in ecstasy as he ravished the tiger's tailhole. Uraku was clenching and unclenching wildly, gritting his teeth and whimpering as he took Daniel's rough rampage. "Yes...Yes! Rip me apart, Daniel!" Daniel was showered with bliss, a paw creeping around Uraku's waist and grasping the large orbs that drooped low. Uraku had pent up lust from a long time ago still, and he aimed to satisfy that and his own tonight.

He stopped pounding, holding his rock hard cock most of the way out. He squizzed the tip of Uraku's member once before saying, "I think you've suffered enough, I don't want to hurt you too much, my love." Daniel snickered. This was all a ruse to get Uraku to do what he knew he would do.

"Fuck me god damnit!" Uraku thrust his rear back against Daniel, yowling in agony as his legs nearly buckled from fatigue. Daniel crouched a bit, thrusting vigorously as he felt his climax approach. "Mmmf...I'm gonna stuff you so full, my kitty." Uraku's paw reached down to vigorously stroke the hard tiger meat, still grunting with pain, but pleasure from the hot scene he was enduring.

Daniel's arms were tightly wrapped around Uraku's waist as he gave his final effort into hunching his lover. He let out a loud grunt as his human seed blasted forth, stuffing his tiger with stream after stream of his energy. Uraku let out a loud roar as he concentrated his strokes around the head of his cock, his own seed spilling forth and messing the semi-trailer and the ground in front of him. They both came to a slow stop, pantin heavily before Daniel slowly pulled out, cock dropping down and cum spilling from Uraku's hole.

Daniel bent down to pick up his pants, not bothering to clean the cum off of his groin before rebuckling his garments. Uraku stood up, turning around to face the human who made him look like a kitten. He looked down at Daniel, a glimmer of happiness in his blue tiger eyes. "You're amazing, Daniel...You'll always amaze me. I love you." Uraku pulled Daniel tightly against him. They shared a warm embrace that ensured that they were both mates again.

Daniel felt a pang of regret as he realized he had won Uraku's heart back through sex, but he didn't care. He would give him a better reason in due time, and he was basking the passion Uraku was spilling forth now. The trials ahead did not seem so difficult to him now, and after they were finished rekindling their relationship in this hiding place, he'll lead them to their goal.
