The Medieval Pokemon Chapter 1
The Discovery
A long time ago in the region of Mistra, man had not met Pokemon.
This story is before the people of Mistra met Pokemon, before the Pokemon wars and before the Gladiators and before the enslavement.
The time is one thousand and five hundred years in the past, in the time when technology only excisted in your imagination and a time when war ruled the world.
Mistra was split into three regions.
The war mongering empire Razia.
They had an emperor and superior military, even today they are the most famous.
These are the people who started the Pokemon Gladiator thing, thats why their symbol is an raging black Charizard with fire behid it. (This symbol was ofcourse taken to use AFTER they found Pokemon!)
The kingdom of Kai.
They are peace loving people who support their king.
They dont like war but they are ready to die defending against the Razia.
The republic of Lari.
They live by the senate, they have no 'leader'.
These people have always stayed neutral from any conflict but now bot the Kai and Razia threat them if they ally with either of them or stay neutral.
So now they have to decide witch one will kill them the Razia or the Kai.
In this time of despair they must rely on despereat measures, they must go to the haunted forest to find a pathway to the land of the 'magical creatures'.
''That's nonsense!'' The senator of trade yelled.
He is an middle aged man with a goatee and short hair, his hair is brown.
He is wearing the standart senator outfit. White robes.
They were in a circle room were there were 9 senators who decided on the affairs of the Republic.
All the senators were there.
''But its the only way!'' The senator of equality said.
She is an young woman who has long black hair.
''Look I know the stories your father told you but he's dead! Even if his stories were true about the magical creatures theres no way we would get there! No one knows where the entrance is!''
''My father told me where it is, I can guide the-''
''It's a story! And the last time he told you that was years ago!''
''Both of you cut it!'' The senator of foreingers said.
''We all know what's going to happen in the coming months if we don't do something, that's why we have already assembled a team of fine young warriors to encompany you Luzki.''
He said and pointed at the woman.
''Thank you.'' She said and bowed a little.
''I would want to leave as soon as possible.''
''Sure, you can leave right now if you want to. The troops are at the gates waiting for instucrions for the assinment.''
''Thank you.'' She then turned and left.
As she was leaving she could easily hear the senator of trade trying to chance the minds of the council.
At the gates of the city there were four soldiers.
They all wore she same full plate armor along with an steel longsword and an shield that was shaped like an triangle.
All the armor was its plain color apart from the blue markings indicating where the limbs were.
None of them wore helmets because they fought that in the forest they wont be needed.
One of them was bold and had an goatee, he was the leader.
''Alright men as you know we are going to the 'haunting' forest and in there is supposed to be an cave or something to the land of the 'magical creatures'.''
Said the commander knows as Hammerarm, this is because he didnt use a shield or an sword instead he used an sledgehammer.
The soldier with an long brown hair and no beard replied.
''Is that her?''
They all turned to see the senator of equality was coming towards them with an lightweight bronze armor along with an steel longsword.
The armor was brown and it wasnt enought to take a lot of hits but it could block a few arrows.
''Are you ready men?''
They all saluted.
''Commander Hammerarm salutes you!''
''Longsword salutes you!'' Said the long haired soldier.
''Leftie salutes you!'' Said the soldier with short hair and no beard, he uses his sword in his left arm instead on the right.
''Farsight salutes you!'' Said the soldier with short dark hair and an small beard, he is usually using an bow but because that wouldnt be so useful in a forest he took an sword.
''Are you ready to go?'' The senator asked.
''Yes we are!'' They all replied in unison.
Hours later, they had reached the forest via horses and were now entering it.
The actual forest looks like any forest but anyone who goes too deep has never come back, except Luzkis father who was considered insane.
He had spoken of magical creatures who were cute but transformed into horrible fire breathing monsters.
These stories had become quite famous with kids, it was the perfect besnight story or just to keep them entertained.
It was also a good horror story for kids who didnt obey, they said that if they didnt obey their parents the monsters would take them to the forest and enslave.
They had now been walking in the woods for a good while now and the soldiers were getting tired.
''Hey can we take a rest?'' Leftie asked.
Luzki stopped her walking and started remembering something.
''Don't rest in the forest if don't want your will to be tested.''
The soldiers were confused.
''Ah Luzki..... What?''
She turned to face them.
''I don't know, my father told me a lot things if I would ever come here.''
''So can we take a rest?'' Leftie asked.
''Sure.'' Luzki was getting a little tired herself.
After a few minutes of resting they started to hear noises.
Hammerarm held his hammer tight.
''What was that?''
Luzki listened for a while.
''It sounds like kids having fun.''
They all looked at her and then listened for the voice to get louder again.
It was kids! Or something that sounded like them atleast.
They all started to walk to the direction of the voices silently as they could with their armor.
They reached some bushes and it sounded like the laughter was coming from behind them.
Luzki and the soldiers quietly went in the bushes and tried to peek out of them, it seemed to be an rather large field of grass and some flowers.
The laughter and voices were indeed coming from there but they couldnt see who was making them, Luzki carefully peeked from the bushes and as she was moving her head to see better something ran by her eyes.
She gasbed but managed to cover her mouth, she was scared and was sitting on that spot like she fell down or something.
The soldiers commander Hammerarm quickly kneeled to her and whispered.
''Are you alrigth milady? What did you see?''
She was still in somewhat of an shock.
''I saw something, something ran by. It was the maker of the other voice.''
Now the soldiers wanted to just jump out of the bushes and were waiting for the order, they all grabbed their swords so they could pull them out fast.
But Hammerarm showed them to calm down.
Luzki went on her knees and tried to peek out again.
This time she could see two 'things' playing and throwing flowers around, she had to stand up to take a better look.
So she slowly stood up and peeked out, she was shocked and she immideatly went back into hiding.
Now Hammerarm was worried, her eyes were like she had seen a ghost.
''What was it?''
Luzki quietly said.
''The magical creatures are real.''
