My Mask
My mask is my shell
like being cursed by a spell
it holds me and hides me
like a caged soul
chained and bound
tied to this world
unwillingly
Bound by love
bound by dreams
Chained by hate
chained by dispair
But even if released
Still chained
Bound by loneliness
My mask hides all this
keeping what i feel to myself
Living and learning
crying and dying
Inside slowly my heart bleeds
Bleeding slowly and painfully
But still my mask hides me
thoughts run through me
telling me to keep going
to get free
my heart can not take it
no more
no more pains
no more chains
no more bonds
I got to breack free
free of this cage
free from these chains
into love
Bound by love
Bound by dreams
chained by hate
chained by dispair
but if released
where to go
still bound
still chained
by the pain
an undying loneliness
a caged soul i am
hiding in my mask
looking through cage bars
looking through soulless eyeholes
in my mask
