Prologue

After the completion of the Earthen Military Gene-tech operations, earth had become a battlefield of unnatural beings and men who could wield the power of a god. Genes were no longer considered a mystery, they were changed accordingly by human hands and manipulated as their creators saw fit.

Earth was united in glorious battle against a greater threat to humanity; one that was so old and unthought-of of it had escaped our minds. It was Disease. A world wide plague, code named the Reaper strain. New and better humans were created to be resistant to this virus. After the plague had ended so much information had been gathered on human genes that a whole new world of science was open to humanity. The secrets of life were theirs for the taking. Soldiers that surpassed all that was once thought impossible now walked the earth. Capable of moving faster than a fighter jet and able to lift tanks without straining themselves. Creations that made earth the greatest military power in the universe.

These genome gods were never born but created in labs away from public eyes. They went through soul crushing mental and physical training all their lives to be the greatest fighters ever. Life was no longer valued anymore. Aging was obsolete and youth could be attained if one had enough money. After the turn of the century in 3600 the earth was restored to its natural beauty and inter-galactic colonization had already begun. The space age was over now that dimensional crossing had begun. Thanks to a woman named Lisa Beranuk, a new form of technology had been created. Humans could now effectively create a rip in dimensions making inter-galactic and universal travel possible without damaging the time space continuum. After the creation of the Earthen Mercenary Project, soldiers could be trained for years while they stayed at the perfect age of 17 for most of their lives thanks to age reduction. They were trained in all forms of battle and in all weapons. They were trained to kill and to die. If their discovery was imminent they were to kill themselves. They used dimensional crossing now known as Vortex Gate Jumps or more commonly referred to as gate jumps. In 3672 the SAID team or Stealth Infiltration And Decimation unit was created, giving birth to the pinnacle of genetic engineering.

They existed beyond reality in a place where the physical world was only a dream and they could do anything. They could run the distance of the earth in only seconds, and were easily strong enough to lift and move just about anything. They were designed to be able to have a nuke dropped on them and come out alive and kicking. They lacked the ability to feel pain and negative emotions. Their bodies were outfitted with a few devices to aid in their war tactics but all they really needed were their hands and feet.

Leviticos, created especially for high risk operations. He was made faster and stronger than the others but given all of the emotions to add a character flaw to him just so he could be pushed harder and further. At the age of four he began his training in human anatomy and psychology learning which bones to break and what to do in a situation of mind games. At the age of nine he was tested in endurance by undergoing powerful electrical shocks for every time he failed at a practice. If he couldn't run around the world fast enough he was shocked into a near death state and told to do it again. He was meant for killing and only that. By the time he was thirteen he had already completed numerous missions and violently mutilated and killed enough people for a life time of guilt. Women, children, men, it made no difference to him. They all needed to die in his eyes. By the time he was 17 his aging stopped due to his genetic programming. In this time he began to ebb away from being a mass murderer and took joys in seeing the world and nature for what it was. He let people into his life and learned to experience new joys such as playing football with a friend or going down to the firing range and having a friendly competition. He turned eight-teen three decades later and nine-teen five decades after that. Every day of his life in those eighty years was spent enduring brutal training and enjoying killing others as much as he enjoyed being with his friends. Once he turned twenty he was put into the SAID Bravo team. He was part of the absolute best soldiers that earth had.

Bravo team consisted of six members, Leviticos-the commanding officer, Jack-field intelligence, Tracy a.k.a. Tracer-master marksmen, Scott-Armor unit supervisor and lead tech, Seth-weapons analyst, structural analyst and battlefield analyst, they all had their own jobs and they were all experienced in each others jobs as well. These five members made up the ultimate team of soldiers skilled in everything and ready for anything.

GENEX LABS-

HOLDING CELL NO. 0005791

VELTOR QUADRANT

EARTHEN MERCENARY PROJECT OUTPOST

11.21.3675 Lunar Cycle, Beta

A rancid, malodorous smell of burning flesh filled the air of the holding cell. The completely ashen and grey shadowed walls of the large four sided, windowless room, constantly reverberated with the sounds of echoing footsteps and vocalizations of doctors and lab technicians.

This particular cell held the newest Stealth Infiltration And Decimation (SAID) specimen, code named Leviticos. His scorched naked body lay, mangled and nearly destroyed on the cold steel bed, muscle and bone showed through most of his seared and blistering flesh. Numerous tubes running into his body through his nose mouth and arms legs and torso supported what little vital signs he still showed.

He had been in a comatose state for over ten days since his last mission to the VORSTAR Terrillian Military Research Outpost on Terrillias 7. The GENE TECH soldier operation had been going to fast for comfort in sight of the Earthen Mercenary PROJECT.

Leviticos and the rest of Bravo Team had been hired to put a stop to their operations by any means possible. He was dropped off at the military base by a Vortex Gate Jump which was used for most of their operations. In the middle of the operation Leviticos had ordered the rest of Bravo Team to pull back and return home; they did as he commanded and were back at the out post with out knowledge of how the mission would turn out or if Leviticos would come back.

It took only three hours before most of the soldiers were killed and enough pyrox was placed on the key structural points of the base to turn the place into a giant smoking hole in the ground. The charges were set for detonation upon a post gate jump. Unfortunately something went wrong in the detonation sequence. The second his vortex opened for his gate jump the base exploded into a giant ball of fire consuming him and everything else with it. Just as he was blown into the vortex a large bar of metal shot out of the blast and right into the back of his head. Aside from the fractured skull, third degree burns and coma he was fine.

He suddenly jerked awake breathing heavily and wracked in pain. The room was one, white blur. He couldn't remember anything he could barely see and he felt like he was being burned alive. After about three minutes his vision started to return to normal, he looked around the white room watching the reflections on the wall and listening to the soft sounds of clanking metal and shifting plastic. He then began to focus down at his charred corpse like body. Tearing out the tubes from his arms, legs and torso, he carefully proceeded with the removing of the tubes from his nose and mouth.

"Nice to see you're awake." A voice came from out of no where. "Yeah I got a bitchy head ache though and I feel hot as hell." He replied back to the military tactical and global intelligence A.I. embedded in his brain. "Not surprising, you just barely survived a pyrox blast big enough to be classified as a nuclear explosion." "Huh... so that's why I look like the crypt keeper." He laughed a little and moaned at the pain his laugh caused. "Hey help me out here will ya Sheila?" Almost immediately his skin started to regenerate and cover his body and his cobalt hair started to grow out again. He stumbled over to a hanger on the wall left of the door and slowly began to put on his civilian clothes, which consisted of an off white, well worn sleeveless t-shirt, a pair of faded and ripped blue jeans and a pair of black combat boots. He walked out of the holding cell with a groggy look on his face and walked into the cafeteria, the A.I., named Shelia informing him on all the events that had passed during his coma. As he entered the cafeteria he noticed how all the tables had been rearranged, now each table was facing a horizontal pattern and gave the room a more spacious look. Along the north wall were all the TVs and Concession machines. Along the west wall was the bar where all the food was kept. The rest of the room was used for tables. The whole cafeteria was painted a relaxing dark crimson. As he made his way to the bar he picked up his usual 'NOVA' energy drink and small cheese burger. He sat back down at a table near the south west window, and admired the view of the moonlight bathed forest below. The tall fir trees gave off an eerie glow and at the same time it was so calming and peaceful. He took a bite out of his burger just as Jack dressed in his standard 'SAID' uniform passed by him and quickly spun around his jaw agape. "Wow so you are alive!" He laughed happily. "The docs said you would either die or stay in a coma as king crispy for the rest of your life. I also heard you really kicked the crap out of those Terrillians. Most of the Class 'A' Battle units are talking about it, even some of the officers are saying about how great you were." Jack said with a happy smile on his face as he sat down next to Leviticos. "Yeah those cock bites back on Terrillia won't be doing anything in the genome department for a while." Leviticos replied. He laughed and took a big gulp of his energy drink, enjoying the feel of the sharply bitter and energizing fluid rush down his throat. Jus as he sat his drink down he lurched forward as he felt something explode into the back of his head. He turned around rubbing his skull only to see Seth standing behind him with an evil grin. "That was from Tracer," He sat down beside jack still smiling. "As soon as she finds out your still alive she is going to kill you. She has been ranting and raving about how stupid you were back there and how ignorant it was of you to send us all back." He pulled out an energy bar from his pocket and started to munch on it. "You know," he said with a full mouth. "You should really think of something to do before she gets here. Maybe beg for mercy and pray she doesn't kill you." He said laughing. Just then he felt a kick contact him in his side and send him flying off the table and against the wall some what gathering the attention of the whole cafeteria. He slowly opened his eyes only to see Tracy standing in front of him looking like she was about to scream. She picked him up and gave him a quick punch in the stomach. "Do you have any idea how completely retarded that stunt was?!" She screamed in his face. "You could have gotten your self killed." She was six foot two strong lean build with mid-back length straight black hair. She had perfect sapphire eyes and lightly tanned skin. She was also wearing a standard SAID uniform. She leaned against him and hugged him lightly as she started to cry softly into his chest. He put his arms around her and held her close to him trying to comfort her. "You could have died back there." She said in a muffled voice. "You promised me you would never leave me, that we would always be together." He held her tighter and closed his eyes. "I wish I could have done something else but my programming and training states that I must take the safest and strongest route of action possible. With the rest of my team in danger I would only be able to function at a minimal level while protecting you." He gave out a heavy sigh let go of her as he walked away. "Why can't you ever think about something else than your training!?" She yelled back at him her eyes filled with tears. "You're not a machine. You're a human just like me and everyone else. You should feelings too." She slowly walked up to him and lightly put her hand on his cheek. "Don't you ever feel sad or alone Leviticos? All you ever do is train. You spend your life training and killing. You need someone to be there for you." He walked past her trying to conceal his emotions trying to stick to what he was taught. "You have no idea the kind of hell I go through every day Tracy. I spend my time killing others because it keeps me from thinking about my self thinking about how lonely I am thinking about how every single day of my life I wish that someone would kill me." And with that he walked off back to his room slamming the door and flopping down on the bed. Leviticos spent the rest of that night going between the gym to work out and his room. The whole time Sheila constantly updated her systems with new battle information and filling Leviticos in on all the new updates. Eventually around three in the morning Leviticos settled into a somewhat peaceful sleep.

It was seven in the morning when Leviticos alarm went off jerking him out of his restless slumber and telling him that it was a new day. "Hey get up to day is the big test for the new armor units." Sheila told him in her usual preppy voice. After hearing this Leviticos was up and ready as he quickly put on his civilian outfit and ran out the door and down the hall way.

. He came to a stop in front of the door that blocked entrance into the Armor testing chamber. He placed his hand on the glowing panel next to the door and let it read off his information. "Leviticos, I.D. number. 0005791, Class Alpha Sentinel species, Stealth Infiltration and Decimation unit Bravo 97741." stated a feminine voice from the panel. The door opened and he walked down a hall of several blast doors, cameras and motion sensors. He finally entered the black and gray colored monolithic chamber used for Armor unit testing. Along the west wall stood seven one hundred- eighty foot tall docking and repair stations several armor units already inside them. The Large mechs were the Latest Models Designed for the SAID Bravo team to aid them in their operations. Unlike other armor units these were equipped with larger Vulcan canons that used explosive rounds for minor bunker destruction and dual gauze-rail gun hybrid rifles for taking down other armor units and extremely fortified structures. Dual three hundred series LRM's were mounted on each shoulder and equipped with a Plasmatic Pyrox hybrid warhead. He walked out into the room feeling so small and yet so powerful to just be this close to the armor units. He listened to the sound of hydraulic machines and drills running in the background but all he could really focus on were the beautiful pieces of art that stood before him. Their dark colors silhouetted against the stone black wall. Seven techies and three, armor certified marines walked out into the area dressed in the standard SAID ninja suit. It got its name from being completely black and because it covered the whole body. The techies each greeted Leviticos happily and shook his hand while the Marines stood back and gave off their usual superiority act, but glad to see him none the less. "Good to see you again Leviticos. We thought you were dead." Said the Scott, the lead techie in the Armor Project and one of Leviticos' closest friends. "It would be a real shame to lose one of our finest Armor pilots." "So these are the new Armor units Scott?" Said Leviticos. Sheila, jumping in, announced "These Armor units are specifically designed for the Bravo team, to aid in the process of their decimation missions. Powered by a liquid hydrogen and liquid helium fuel it utilizes the same form of fusion used in the sun and stars. This allows it to use its specially modified jump jets and weapons. Over heating is no longer a problem in these Armor units as they utilize the newly formulated ABSOLUTE ZERO cooling formula designed for extreme heat and use in Armor units. The armor that each unit uses is based on the Pelennium alloy found on Derras 2 the Ice planet. This makes it close to indestructible. By creating a hybrid mixture of EMP protecting and WEMP protecting alloys with the Pelennium, the Armor unit is protected form all forms of electro magnetic pulse ranging from Nukes to Ion canons. However because of the weight and balance problem that occurs with the high speeds used for the Armor units, the jump jets must be used to regain balance, before the pilot looses all control of the Armor unit. The unit is designed so that when it is seriously damaged it goes offline and begins its detonation sequence also called the AFTER LIFE EFFECT. Because of the Fusion generators in the fuel system the armor unit's explosion will encompass a six mile circumference in a fire ball that will reach temperatures up to one hundred million degrees. This protocol was designed as a last offense mechanism but also a way of concealing our technology from enemy forces. I am specially modified to link with the Armor unit to give the pilot absolute control over the unit and turn the Armor unit into more of an extension of the pilots own body than a machine." Thanks for the over view Sheila." Scott said quite impressed with her knowledge. Alright Leviticos were gona get you a designated Armor unit set up here and have you take it out for a test ride. The marines will intercept you at various points and you are required to destroy their Armor Units. They will be using older versions of the Armor units so that we don't experience an AFTER LIFE EFFECT from one of them. Seeing as how you are using one of the new mechs you ARE required not to loose in battle or you and the rest of this outpost will be incinerated. Is that clear?" "Absolutely sir." Leviticos said with a smile on his face. The holo panel on Scott's wrist beeped three times and got his attention. "Hmm let's see now. Alright Leviticos Today you're using Armor unit Omega Angel a high speed and extremely destructive Armor unit. We're giving you access to all weapons except your WEMP canons until you reach the outside limits of the WEMP range. Leviticos drove about seven miles to the other end of the chamber where he met the 'lift truck' as all the Armor certified units called it. He was raised up to the cockpit where he went through the same process as he did with the panel on the outside door to the chamber. As he entered the cockpit the armor unit sprang to life the MM cord mechanically attaching itself to the back of Leviticos' skull and into his cerebellum. "I'll get this fine piece of machinery up and running for ya." Sheila said happily. "Hmm not much different from that of the older Armor Units. The control panel lit up suddenly and the Armor unit stood up straight its guns held parallel to the ground. It moved forward and made a ninety degree turn and walked out of the large chamber. The morning rain pelting down on the large machine as Leviticos brought up his NAV map and thermal scanners. "God I love thermal vision. You can see everything with it." The unit moved forward at a rapid rate and jumped into the air off the cliff in front of them. "Initiating Jump Jet test." Leviticos said letting Sheila figure out what he was doing. The jump jets shot to life pure white light flaming out of them and propelling the Armor Unit into the air like a rocket. "Initiating evasion movements" he said and imagined what the Armor unit would do as it moved to his every thought. Doing turns flips spins and dodges in the air and firing off rounds at nothing in particular. The machine landed on the ground picking up its speed as it ran through the woods crushing trees in its path. After about seven minutes of running the first of the marines appeared launching several LRMs and Gauze shots into the Armor unit. "Gonna have to do better than that!" Leviticos laughed as he gripped the joy sticks and started to fire off Gauze and rail gun hybrid shots causing massive explosions to erupt all over the opposing mech and simultaneously causing the marine to eject himself from the falling mech. As soon as there was nothing left of the opponent Leviticos moved on keeping up his running pace until he was in the middle of a large lake. The other two marines came upon him this time. They both fired off gauze rounds at the new Armor unit's legs causing Leviticos to slow down and occasionally stumble. "Lower torso and Legs reaching critical level." Sheila announced. "Yeah, Yeah, I know." He retorted He flipped a few switches and fired off all his weapons at once watching his full payload of missiles fire forward along with 12 rounds of gauze and rail gun hybrid shots. He made a quick jump jet back wards and watched as an enormous ball of fire exploded from the area quickly catching up to Leviticos. He sped up opening all the fuel valves and shot out of the air easily breaking the sound barrier at the same time. "Armor Unit, Omega Angel returning home, mission successful and requesting repairs." Leviticos called in feeling energized and ready for anything. "Copy that Omega Angel, Armor Unit Chamber is waiting your arrival and dock number seven is cleared out for you." Leviticos made his way back to the chamber the morning rays of sun gently peering over the crisp aspen trees of the forest and glinting off the Armor unit as it passed through the chamber door. After a long welcome back greeting and lots of applause for a successful test run. It was 10:00 A.M. when Leviticos made his way back to his room and found that his custom made uniform was set neatly at the foot of his bed. The sun still peeking through his window urging him to get outside and do something. His large room was designated to him upon his creation. The room was completely black all the furniture and was black to. Because of the genetic engineering used to create Leviticos his eyes functioned better in dark environments. The black lights that dotted the room cast dim rays of light that only He could see and gave the many posters that festooned his walls a ghostly glow. He sat in a chair, his body sinking into the soft fabric. He yawned and stood up putting on his socks and covering them with his midnight black and cobalt cammo pants and tucking them neatly into his black specialized combat boots. Using neuronetics the soles were able to go from a strong rubber to liquid steel capable of delivering a powerful blow and still allowing the user to move efficiently. He tucked his black t-shirt into his cammo pants and running his blue flame belt through the belt straps and tightening it then fastening on his two gun holsters at a slanted position. He put on his midnight black and cobalt combat vest and tightened the straps and checked the pockets making sure each contained its designated items. He threw on his black ankle length leather trench coat on and picked up his two guns holstering them and putting on his matrix style shades and let his eyes return to there natural crimson color allowing him to see using thermal vision. His spiked cobalt hair was spiked back just the way he liked it. He walked out of his room only to be greeted by a hallway full of friends and officers clapping for him and shouting praise for being the first to successfully pilot the new Armor Unit. He smiled and waved back as he walked down the hall to the cafeteria. Just before he got there, Sheila notified him of a message sent to him by General Keys. "Give me the message." He replied. "Message from General Keys to Leviticos. Concerns about the Veltor Sector advancing to rapidly in Space defenses have been brought up. The probabilities of a defense massing for a possible attack have been a large concern for us lately. You have been assigned the mission to lead the Bravo team into the Veltor military defense zone and set up a temporary outpost to help safe-guard our ambassadors arrivals to the Veltor home planet and negotiate further peace treaties. Seeing as how they are only an illegitimate aliance you will still be using the new armor units and are required to fire only minimal rounds and only when completely necessary. If a fight breaks out you are to use riot control tactics no mass genocides are allowed to happen. There will be one drop off point where you and the rest of Bravo team will be initially sent and you will secure the area. Soon after the ambassadors will arrive and you will escort them to their appointed destination. You should be in your mechs and ready for transport in five hours, good luck soldier." "Well there you go Leviticos, sounds to me like your going on a baby sitting journey." Sheila said after the message had ended "That's exactly what it sounds like." Leviticos retorted. Leviticos quickly made his way down the hall to one of the many conference rooms sitting himself at the head of the table and waiting for the secretary to set up all the computers. He logged into the main computer and the other four computers logged on too. He set up all the screens to show an interactive simulation of how the mission would go and what the nav point and times would be. After he had finished with the computers he had the secretary bring in the rest of Bravo Team. After about ten minutes the rest of Bravo Team walked in each taking their seats and waiting for Leviticos to begin the mission briefing "Ok team here's the mission. We're to provide escort for the ambassadors of earth on their way to the Veltor capital. On your screens you will notice a map of the area and the path we will follow." Leviticos continued with his speech telling them exactly how everything would play out until everyone was perfectly clear on the plan. After he had finished his speech he got up and dismissed the rest of the team telling them to do whatever necessary to prepare but to meet back at the Armor Unit Testing Chamber in one hour and forty minutes so they could practice handling the new mechs. As they left the conference room leviticos slowly walked up to Tracy and put his hand on her shoulder. "Tracy, I'm sorry for what happened yesterday." He said with a heavy sigh. "I know your just not meant to be loved I guess." They both walked out the room and went their separate ways. Tracy spent her time out on the shooting range doing every thing in her power to become any better of a marksman than she already was, if that was at al possible. Seth spent his time on the computer looking over the map Leviticos had shown him. He studied the terrain and mentally marked out all the locations and set up areas to use as shelter incase of a problem. Seth spent his time speaking with leviticos down in the armory about all the things he new about mission and anything to help him give a helping hand to the others. Scott spent his time having all the techs finish up the last repairs on the new mechs and trying to make them look as presentable as possible. Leviticos spent his time down in the armory picking out his custom weapons which consisted of a pair of semi automatic pistols that used exploding rounds instead of the standard ballistic shell. An assault rifle that had been customized to be used as a sniper rifle also and his Scout knife. After the hour and forty minutes was up the team was back at the Armor Unit Testing Chamber, Seth, Jack and Tracy were still waiting to get their designated mechs while Leviticos was already on his way to his own mech. "Ok lets see here. Seth, your mech is the Nova; its weapons are based mainly on explosives so...try not to get shot at to much. It's in docking bay number three. Hmm, Tracy, you'll be using the Sentari mech. It uses optical stealth camouflage, extensive jump jets and pin point accuracy weapons. You will pretty much be air born most of the time so you'll have a snipers view of the area. It is over in docking bay number one. Jack, you'll be using the Maelstrom mech. It's the fastest one we have. It uses small automatic weaponry and has an updated nav system almost identical to that of Sheila's." Scott finally finished and left with the rest of the team to get their ride to the docking bays where they would each practice piloting their mechs for the first time.

Leviticos' mech stood alive and waiting in the middle of the chamber and watched as each of the other mechs sprang to life and walked over to his. "Ok team were going to be doing a simple nav to nav progress where we will be intercepted by targets along the path and accumulated targets at each nav point." Leviticos said with his usual emotionless tone. They all started to sprint out of the chamber each welcoming the nice warm feeling of the amber colored sun through their cockpit windows. They made their way along the path, Leviticos holding the left flank while Scott took the right each providing nearly endless round of fire power taking down nearly every target ahead of them. Seth stood front middle while Jack stood back middle both of them telling the others where to turn and where the enemies were coming from. Tracy constantly moved between left and right back using her jump jets and easily picking off plenty of the targets before Leviticos or Scott could get to them at each nav point. The training finally ended, each team member completely familiar with his or her mech and ready to get some real action. All five of them stood in a row inside of the Chamber, Weapons reloaded and their mechs refueled. They awaited the final countdown to the gate jump.

"Prepare dimensional encephalon." The gate manager said to the techs. "Dimensional gate has started opening" another tech said to the gate manager. We'll have an opening in five, four, three, two, one! Gate opened!" He cried out immediately a large swirling black and purple vortex exploded out of no where quickly encompassing the five mech and closing just as fast as it had opened. Inside the vortex the five initiated the jump jets trying to stay clear of the vortex walls. "It's like a long tunnel." Tracy stated. "Yeah.....a really creepy swirling long tunnel." Scott radioed back. "Ok people E.T.A. is two minutes so let's mentally prep and get ready to take whatever comes our way." Leviticos said. Just after he had said that the vortex started to convulse and undulated the walls starting to cave in. The walls pulled closer threatening to rip apart on the travelers and testing on their every nerve. "Ok team no worries but the vortex is starting to rip.... Were just going to pick up the pace and get the hell out of here." Leviticos reassured his team mates. The walls started closing faster but the exit was just ahead. Nearly three seconds before they made it the left wall suddenly collapsed knocking Leviticos out of the vortex and into unknown space.

Leviticos shot off into the vast void of space a small solar system the only thing insight. "Outpost command do you read this is Omega Angel ............" no answer "Outpost command I repeat do you read this is Omega Angel.......Damn it!" Leviticos cursed as he threw his head back and sighed. "Sheila, open star map directory and try to pin point our location." Leviticos said in a somewhat depressed voice knowing the likely hood of being any where near home was next to impossible. "Leviticos.....we are currently traveling out side of known borders the nearest star system is over ten billion light years away.....We can still contact Outpost command though. It will require a sacrifice though." Sheila stated in a sad voice. "What is it?" Leviticos asked cautiously. "We will have to drain the mech's energy to create a burst transmission strong enough to cross this much space. If we do it will only take ten years before command receives this message," Sheila stated in a calm voice. "This also means that we may die from lack of oxygen if we lose all of the energy." ......Leviticos didn't say anything for a few minutes as he thought about his options. He sighed and with a heavy voice he said. "Sheila I want full power to the jump jets. We'll navigate as close to the solar system as we can and try to find a planet with some form of life sustaining environment. God I hope there is one. As soon as we find it shut down the mech and use all of its energy to make that burst transmission."

The mech's jump jets shot to life speeding the mech toward the solar system and towards a possible inhabitable planet. It was only two hours before they entered the system and found what seemed to be a habitable planet. "Ok Sheila keep the mech pointed in that direction and shut it down." The mech instantly died its seemingly dead mechanical carcass drifting through space. "Initiating burst transmission. Go whenever you're ready Leviticos." Sheila said in a saddened tone. "Outpost command, this is Omega Angel. Upon the time of you receiving this I will have been gone for at least ten years. During my last trip with the Bravo team a rip occurred in the vortex. The walls collapsed and I was sent into uncharted space. At the time of this message I am currently drifting to a hopefully habitable planet where I will attempt to make repairs and maybe signal back home. If fate does not allow me to return...I want everyone to know that I died with honor and dignity and remembered my friends and companions till the very end. Tell Bravo team, I'm sorry. Message out." The message ended as Leviticos, Sheila and the damaged mech drifted to their uncertain fate.

Leviticos slowly opened his eyes. It had been fifteen hours since the message was sent and it would be another two hours before they entered the planets atmosphere, the remaining oxygen registered to be enough for one hour at most. "Sheila, I want you to slow down my heart and all my bodies functions until we enter the planets atmosphere. Hopefully that will be enough to keep me alive. Upon contact with solid ground I want you to open the cockpit. Incase these are my last orders to you I want you to store all your memory and mine and then shut yourself down...........permanently. Leviticos' eyes slowly closed and he leaned his head back against the seat as he enjoyed what seemed to be the last sleep Leviticos Duraine would ever have.
