Midnight Struggle.

At that night, me and Liontari were surprised by six anthro mices wearing robber clothing and using knives. They surrounded us.
Okay, let's start! - said Liontari.
The mices jumped towards us. I dodged, Liontari used a dagger to defend himself, the other four mices tried to grab us. I kept dodging, Liontari kicked the mices that dared to approach. Liontari then stepped back and forward right after, piercing the belly of one of the mices. The robber fell dead.
We were attacked all of sudden, without much explanation, they just wanted to take what we had and, since we had nothing, they decided to kill us.
Five of them used blue robes and the sixth one used a red robe and a sword instead of a knife. I was already tired of dodging, as my pudgy body isn't the best to fight. Liontari's body, on the other paw, was ready for fighting until the sunrise. I was stunned by his agility and his health and his moves often distracted me from the fight I was in.
Okay, Yure - said Liontari, after dealing with five out of six mices. -, feeling tired yet?
Pretty much - I confessed, panting.
You guys will at least serve me as food - said the remaining mice, preparing his sword.
Liontari pushed me back a little with his huge hand, that seemed to cover my whole chest. He got in position to fight.
We needed to get that last mice down in order to proceed safely. There were trees and bushes around us.
Liontari ran to attack, but the mice dodged and hit Liontari's left arm with his sword, cutting part of his clothing, fur and meat. Liontari turned and could pierce the tummy of the mice with the dagger, causing him to bend over. In a last attack, Liontari pushed the mice, making him fall, só he could die slowly. The lion placed his right handpaw on his wound, feeling a river of blood and pain pour from it. The mice died and the others were fainted.
It was night still. The reason why the mices attacked us was quite obvious. Liontari took a piece of cloth of the dead mice and used it to stop his bleeding. I checked the fainted mices and got some of their belongings.
Didn't knew you were a thief - Liontari commented.
Something against? - I asked, joking.
Liontari smiled softly.
Someone must stay awake to keep the other safe - he said.
I can do it - I answered, even if I was tired.
Not a wise decision - he said, knowing how hard I tried to not be hit. - You are tired, you will eventually fall asleep.
I rubbed my right eye.
Maybe you are right - I admited.
What you got from them? - asked Liontari.
A bottle of water, instant food, sleep bag... and a cloth diaper... - I said, looking into the bag of a mice.
Cloth diaper? - asked Liontari. - Maybe he is one of these freaks who wear diapers for fun.
Hey! - I shouted.
Liontari laughed.
I was joking, silly - he stated.
