Reaching the door Spike could only look up at the stairs before him the scent of blood and evil forces, reaching out to try and grab the banister only for it to melt at his touch.
"Oh joy that makes it much easier" acting sarcastic he looked at the stairs wondering if they too will melt or collapse under his weight. Being cautious he put one foot on the first step before putting his other on it too. "Humm so far so good" be begun to slowly work up the stairs making sure not to fall off.

Meanwhile on the roof Spark was walking around being bored.
"Where is he I would have thought he would have already got here by now if he wants Anthony back" saying this he looked at the fox laying on the sacrificial tablet. Growling to himself he walked over to him and poked "heh he's still out of it which is good for me". Something near the door made Sparks eyes turn quickly, grinning at the sight he saw.
"I did what you told me to now let me go Spark" growling yet shuddering were the only things Ripper could do.
Standing up growling and walking over to Ripper he held his hand up making his claws come out "you want ME to let you go *growl* after every other time you failed me and not to forget that time when you knocked me out!" Sparks growl was getting louder.
"Spark I never meant to let you be free that was accident and so is this" lunging at Spark, Ripper punched him in the stomach. Sliding and banging is head on the tablet Spark spat out some blood and growls.
"*growl* you did not just do that to me!" standing up Spark throws a thunderbolt at Ripper hitting him in the chest.

Reaching the next floor Spike could hear something coming from the roof. "What is going on up there" hearing a loud growl Spike knew that must have been Spark "I swear if that asshole as done anything to Anthony I'll kill him. Walking towards the next flight, voices started echoing around him again.
"Help us"
"Please help us"
Looking around Spike was getting angry "Don't worry I'll stop him even if it kills me" he starts to head up the next flight of stairs forever getting closer to the roof.
