Alcohol and Cheeseburgers

The German shepherd leaned back in his comfy leather chair. Sighing, he put his feet on his desk. The hospital administrator, his boss, probably wouldn't be happy if he caught him doing this, but it was his office. He could do whatever he wanted. The administrator would most likely not come this way anyway. The shepherd stared at the ceiling. Did he really have to wait another 45 minutes to leave? He was done for the evening. He had only had two surgeries today, both ordinary procedures. The shepherd stretched, groaning as he tensed his muscles. He had already showered and changed into street clothes. Suddenly, his door swung open, and a red fox strode in. "Ready to go, Jacob?" He asked smiling.

"Actually, yeah I am," the shepherd answered, "I can't believe you're getting me to go to the club."

"You could say no." the fox said, shrugging.

"What? Then I'd have to listen to your never-ending bitching." Jacob smiled.

"Whatever. You'll like it, I promise." The fox sat in one of the chairs opposite Jacob's desk. "Only a few more minutes." He sighed, slouching back. The two sat in silence, counting the minutes until the clock reached 8 p.m. After what seemed like an eternity, the time finally arrived.

"Finally!" the fox exclaimed, "Time to go! Coming to my place?"

"Yeah, James," Jacob said, standing up, "I'm riding with you."

"Cool. See you soon." With that, the fox stood and left Jacob's office.

Jacob, gathered his stuff, locked his door, and hit the lights on his way out. Making his way through the hospital to the parking garage, he went to the doctor's reserved parking. Pulling his keys out, he hit the unlock button. A quick chirp announced his car was unlocked. Jacob opened the Camaro's door and slung his bag in the back. Getting in, he cranked it, and quickly left the garage. He drove the car towards his friend's house.

The shepherd arrived at James' apartment just minutes behind the fox. Parking the muscle car, he got out, and made his way up to the apartment. When Jacob got to his friend's place, James was already changing his clothes. The fox stepped into his living room, now in a pair of loose blue jeans and a faded shirt. He shook in his more comfortable clothes. "Well, sit down, get comfortable!" he said, looking at Jacob. The shepherd fell into a soft chair that was low to the floor.

"What are we waiting for?"

"Some friends of mine, and one special vixen." James smiled at the word, "vixen".

"Oh? You're girlfriend?"

James blushed. "Well, not exactly. We hang out and, well we kissed, but I don't know." The fox was having trouble with his words. Jacob laughed.

"You've kissed and aren't seeing each other? What are y'all? Friends with benefits?"

"Maybe." James said looking away. The shepherd laughed again, swishing his tail against the floor. He opened his mouth to say something more, when there was a knock on the door. "Speak of the devil." James said, moving to open the door.

Jacob heard James exchange greetings with his friends, and then saw the fox bump shoulders with a large wolf. Smiling, he led the wolf and the rest of his friends inside. Gesturing towards Jacob, he introduced them. "Rick, this is Jacob. Jacob, this is Rick." Standing, the shepherd shook the wolf's paw. James then introduced him to David, a smaller wolf and Rick's younger brother, and Miranda, James' vixen friend- or whatever they were. James introduced them, and Jacob shook their paws as well. The shepherd learned that David was in law school, Rick worked with computers, and Miranda was a hairdresser.

"We met because she does my hair." James admitted. Miranda smiled and played with the fox's hair.

"Well, are we going out tonight or what?" Rick asked.

"Let's go!" James said, pointing out the door. Everyone quickly filed out of the small hallway, with Jacob shutting his friend's door. Following the group, he noticed James and Miranda holding paws. He smirked to himself. He had had a "friends- with- benefits" relationship before, about the time he was in pre-med. It had been fun, but it couldn't have lasted forever. That was a long time ago now, and he had pushed that girl, and their memories, out of his mind. Jacob secretly hoped his friend's relationship ended better than his. Sometimes, he caught himself wondering about that girl, where she was now, who she was with, and what could have been.

Growling, he reminded himself it had ended for a reason. Neither one of them would have been happy had they been together. It reminded the shepherd of how long it had been since he had even dated someone. Jacob had never really done it much, he admitted. It just didn't happen. He had devoted his time and energy to studying medicine, over finding a mate. Sure, he got lonely every now and then, but he had everything he ever wanted. Every night, he went home to his nice house in the outskirts of the city. Propping up, he would read or watch Netflix until he fell asleep. Jacob could do anything he wanted and he liked that. It was great, even if he had no one to share it with. Shaking his thoughts away, he followed his friend to his car.

As the shepherd got in the car, James put techno music on the stereo. "We have to get ready for the club!" The fox said enthusiastically, practically bouncing in his leather seat.

"Dude, I don't even know how to dance. I'll look like an idiot!" Jacob complained.

"So? It's the club! Nobody knows how to dance. It's just a bunch of drunk, sweaty furs, moving to music. It's not that hard."

"Gee, doesn't sound as fun now." The shepherd remarked sarcastically.

"It's fun. Trust me." James reassured him, as they reached the nightclub. He pulled into the club's parking lot. The building was a huge pyramid, emitting bright purple lights into the night sky. "Underworld" was written in glowing, purple lettering across the front. While the rest of the group was parking their cars, Jacob stood in the warm night air. He took a deep breath. The shepherd was a little nervous going to a club like this. This was his first time and he was both excited and scared. 'At least there's alcohol,' he thought.

The rest of the group soon met up with them and they all headed towards the front door. A line trailed from the doors down the side of the building. Jacob watched as the bouncer worked the line pretty quick, stopping only to card a few furs. Standing against the wall, he could hear the dull pounding of the bass inside the nightclub. After a few minutes, they finally made it to the bouncer. The bouncer, a well-built Doberman, stood menacingly at the front door. His arms were crossed over his large chest and he had an almost bored look on his face. The Doberman simply nodded as the group walked inside.

Jacob felt the bass the moment he stepped into the club. His ears were assaulted by the powerful bass. All he could hear was the music. Following his friends, he was nearly blinded from the bright, pulsating lights surrounding the main floor. The shepherd stood, transfixed, at the sight before him. Furs were dancing everywhere. The nightclub had three levels, the main floor, and two more levels rising above it. A main stage stood at the back of the main floor, at the end of the dance floor. The D.J. stood on the stage, surrounded by flashing lights, filling the building with the electrifying music. He smiled at the dancing furs. Apparently James was right; none of the furs seemed concerned with how they looked.

James clapped him on the shoulder. "Told you nobody knows how to dance."

"I guess not."

David, Rick, and Miranda walked up beside them. Miranda found her way beside James. "I don't know about you guys," David said, "but I'm going to hit the dance floor!"

"Right behind you." His older brother said, following David into the mass of furs.

"Well, if I'm going to dance, I'm going to need a little help. I'm getting a drink first." Jacob said.

James nodded. "I could use a drink myself. Coming Miranda?"

"Of course!" The vixen said, taking James' paw. The friends headed towards the bar on the main floor. They took three open seats together. Jacob sat down, trying to decide what he wanted to start the night with. It was while he was looking at the drink selection that he saw her. He watched the bartender mix drinks and wasn't able to take his eyes off her. She was a husky, black and white, with a slim body and fluffy tail that curled enticingly at the tip. Jacob watched her body move as she made the drinks. She was beautiful. The shepherd felt something nudge him.

"Like the bartender?" James laughed.

"Uh, yeah." Jacob stuttered, not realizing he was staring.

The fox laughed. "Talk to her when you get your drink."

Jacob swallowed nervously. "I might." He swished his tail, flattening his ears. 'Now I definitely need a drink', he thought. He found what he wanted, a shot of vodka to get going, and called the husky's attention. She moved towards him and poured the shot. With his heart hammering at his chest, the shepherd spoke up.

"Hey, I just want to let you know, I think you're beautiful." The husky looked at him, unconcerned.

"Thanks." She turned and moved back, working the bar. 'Smooth', Jacob berated himself. He stared at the husky's tail, following it up with his eyes. With a sigh, he downed the shot, and ordered another. He smiled when she came over to him.

"Look, I like you, and I'd like to take you out sometime." Jacob met her clear blue eyes with his faded green eyes, filled with pleading. The husky met his gaze and sighed.

"Look," she started firmly, "You're not the first, nor the last guy to hit on me. I appreciate it, but I'm not interested." She turned away, flicking her tail gracefully in the air before Jacob.

'Damn it!' he thought. He really liked this husky and wanted to get to know her. He felt like he should. 'One more time.' Downing his second shot, he signaled for a third. The husky came over, looking at him.

"Please," he asked, almost begging, "Let me buy you dinner sometime, call me when you're off and I'll take you, maybe get a cheeseburger and a drink?" His expression was hopeful. The husky looked at him. She knew he was really interested in her, but so had other guys at the bar. This one was different to her though. She couldn't tell why, just that he was sincere about liking her. Well, he had offered a dinner, and she could go for that. There was something about the way he was so up front with her. She let out a sigh.

"Hang on a second." She said, quickly turning around. The husky came back and slipped a piece of paper by Jacob's drink. "This one's on the house." She said, pouring his drink. Then, she turned and continued working. Jacob looked at the paper. In a neat handwriting was written: "Michelle 351-486-9087 Call me around 5:30 tomorrow" The shepherd smiled. He got her number! It made him feel good. Beside him, James was laughing again.

"She gave you her number, didn't she?"

Jacob only smiled. James continued his laughing, as Jacob slipped the paper in his pocket and finished his drink. Paying for his drinks, he and the foxes left the bar, making their way to the dance floor. They moved between furs as best as they could, until they found a place to dance. Miranda began dancing almost as soon as they were on the floor. She moved her body and tail to the rhythm like she knew what she was doing. James soon moved with her, their bodies only inches from each other, pulsing with the music. Jacob shrugged, letting the music move him and found himself actually dancing. He had to admit, this was really fun.

He danced, surrounded by other furs, lost in the music. This wasn't what he expected and he did enjoy it. The music was great. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day. He was able to let go off all the day's stresses and worries. Suddenly, he didn't care what he looked like. He was enjoying himself and that's all that mattered. As he danced, he noticed that some of the furs were glowing, like they had glowstick fluid in their fur. Jacob didn't understand until some of the fluid landed on him. Looking at his fur, puzzled, he looked around. Furs were breaking glowsticks and throwing it everywhere. It was almost like a neon mosh pit. The shepherd liked that idea and joined the fray joyfully.

The rest of the night was spent dancing and getting covered with glowstick fluid. It was a great night and everyone had a good time. Jacob had managed to get the bartender's number, James and Miranda had definitely enjoyed each other's company, as Jacob had noticed his friend's paw resting quite high on the vixen's thigh, just below her skirt, and at one point he had even seen David making out with a she-wolf on the dance floor. Jacob hadn't seen much of Rick, but the large wolf wore a smile almost as big as himself when they met up to leave later that night. The shepherd smiled as they left Underworld to go home. Jacob couldn't wait to call Michelle the next day. She was all he could think about as James drove him back to his apartment to pick up his Camaro.

Getting back to James' apartment, Jacob found his car and unlocked it. Waving goodbye to his friend, he felt inside his pocket for the slip of paper with Michelle's number. Feeling it tucked away, he continued to smile, cranking the car. As he drove under the lights of the city, the shepherd thought back on his past relationships. The last one he could think of was of the girl he hung out with in pre med school. She had been a cute skunk and they had really liked each other. It was more of a friends-with-benefits deal though. They were never officially "dating", but everyone knew they were together. It had been fun for a while, but it eventually came crashing down around him. When the shepherd looked back on it, it seemed that she always wanted to fight him, change him. She wanted to make him into what she wanted. Jacob shivered. He hadn't realized that at the time, but he would never allow himself to be changed by someone. Or maybe that's just what he told himself. He knew he was insecure and definitely selfish, but he didn't do relationships well. Maybe it was his fault. Either way, eventually, he had ended the relationship, and after some painful time, he got over it. Sighing, he hoped he would do better with this husky.

Parking his car, he walked into his house. Wearily, he made his way up the stairs and to his bedroom. Yawning, Jacob pulled off his shirt, tossing it carelessly on the floor. He pulled out the slip of paper, laying it carefully on his nightstand beside his bed. He kicked off his shoes, crashing onto his bed heavily. Wriggling under the covers, he realized he still had dry glowstick fluid all over him. Another huge yawn escaped him. 'Screw it.' He thought, it could wait until morning, he was going to bed. With that, the shepherd let his eyelids close and fell asleep.

***************************

The sunlight fell through Jacob's bedroom skylight, flooding the room with light. Groaning loudly, the German shepherd rolled over and searched for his phone. His paw groped clumsily around his nightstand. He grabbed the device, almost knocking it to the floor, and pressed a button. The screen came to life and broadcast the time and date. Jacob groaned again. It was just after noon. Glowstick fluid matted his fur. Getting out of bed reluctantly, he shuffled towards his shower, shedding his jeans and boxers along the way. Jacob looked in the mirror, waiting for his water to warm. He looked like hell. His fur was matted and scruffy, and his eyes were dull. The canine hadn't done anything like this since his college days. He showered, scrubbing his fur determinedly to rid it of the sticky, fluorescent fluid. Shaking violently, Jacob stepped out, toweling off. His fur looked much better now. The shepherd quickly found some clothes and headed towards his kitchen to find some lunch. On the way out, he grabbed the slip of paper with Michelle's number.

Jacob made it downstairs to his kitchen and scanned his cabinets for food. He found a box of macaroni and cheese and started to cook it. The canine turned on his T.V., looking for something to watch as he ate. Soon, he found a movie. He got his food and sat down to watch it. Finishing his lunch, he kicked back on his couch, and enjoyed his movie. Jacob ended up spending the rest of the day on that couch, watching movie after movie. He killed the entire day, just waiting to call Michelle.

Finally 5:30 came around. Jacob grabbed his phone and dialed the number, feeling like a pup asking a cute girl if she liked him. As the phone rang, his heart rate sped up. He didn't know what to say! Jacob wasn't good at dealing with people and even worse when they were girls. Everything he said was always wrong. Maybe he should-

"Hello?" A female's voice answered.

"Michelle, it's Jacob, the German shepherd from last night."

"Ok, yeah I remember. What's up?"

This was one of the most awkward things Jacob had ever done. "Not much," he admitted, "what about you?"

"Enjoying my day off. So, you said something about dinner last night?"

'At least she's straight to the point.' The shepherd thought. "Yes. Do you like cheeseburgers?"

"Of course."

"How about we meet at this bar I know, Jack's? Ever heard of it?"

"I have. I've been there a couple of times."

"Great! How's seven?"

"Seven is fine. I'll see you then, Jacob, is it?"

"Uh huh. See you then."

"Ok, bye."

The husky hung up. Well, that had gone better than expected. She hadn't said much, but Jacob just wrote it off to her being nervous, like himself. Now he had two more hours to kill. His tail swished beneath him. What was he going to wear? He hadn't been on a date in forever. Jacob went back to his room to get ready. He found a pair of better jeans, some that weren't riddled with holes and a plain black tee. The shepherd quickly combed his fur and sprayed some cologne on. Looking over himself, he smiled. 'Here's to hoping.' He thought, and headed downstairs.

******************************

The bar was crowded, with it being the weekend. It also had the best burgers Jacob had ever had. The place had dim lighting and T.V.s everywhere broadcasting about a dozen different sports. The canine had arrived early, to set things up. Walking to the hostess, he smiled politely.

"One?" The petite poodle asked in her sweet voice.

"Actually two, but my, uh, date isn't here yet. I'd like for you to escort her to our table when she arrives if you don't mind."

"Of course, sir. What's her name?"

"Michelle, she's a husky."

"Ok, I'll be sure to bring her to you." The poodle smiled sweetly at Jacob, leading him to a table near the back. The shepherd sat down, trying to watch what was on the televisions, waiting on Michelle. He saw a T.V. with an athlete he disliked and tried to see what he was saying. Jacob growled softly at the screen. Muttering about how much he couldn't stand the athlete on T.V., he noticed an attractive husky following the hostess. His heart sped up again. Michelle was wearing jeans that hugged her legs nicely and a plain dark blue tee. When she sat across from him, he noticed it went well with her ice blue eyes. Her shirt showed off a nice bit of cleavage too, the shepherd noticed. Michelle looked at him, giving him a small smile, and scanned the menu in front of her. Jacob smiled back. That smile of hers was beautiful.

"What can I get you to drink?" the waitress asked politely.

"Sweet tea." Jacob answered, trying to find what he wanted to eat from his own menu.

"I'll just have a Coke." Michelle answered. The waitress nodded.

"Any appetizers?" Jacob looked at Michelle. She looked back, apathetically.

"Sure. The cheese fries would be great." The shepherd decided, at least giving them something to nibble on while they made small talk. The poodle left to get their order, leaving the two alone. "You look stunning." The shepherd said to the husky. She smiled again.

"Thank you. You look pretty handsome yourself."

"So, it must be nice to have someone else serve you a drink, huh? Instead of you fixing theirs?"

"Yeah. It is nice for a change. Serving drinks gets tiring sometimes." She leveled her gaze at Jacob. "So, what do you do?"

"I'm a doctor."

Michelle raised her eyebrows slightly. "Really?"

"Yup. I work at Riverside Hospital."

"I bet that's interesting."

Jacob nodded, as the waitress brought their drinks and fries. He took his sweet tea instantly and drained the glass before Michelle had even taken a sip of hers.

"Wow." The waitress said, taking the glass back, I'll get you another. Ready to order?"

"I believe so." The shepherd said. "I'll have the bacon double cheeseburger with jalapenos." The poodle scribbled it down and looked at Michelle.

"I'll have a bacon cheeseburger, no pickles." The waitress nodded and left again.

"Would you like some fries, Michelle?" Jacob offered to the husky. She smiled and took some. The shepherd smiled at how cute she looked.

"What do you like, Michelle?"

The husky took a sip of her drink. "Well, I like flowers, sunsets, and long walks on the beach." She flashed him a playful smile. Jacob laughed. "Seriously, well, I like curling up and watching a good movie, or reading a book. I like rock music, not heavy stuff though, and I listen to dubstep a lot. I like being with friends, shopping, and getting a really good cheeseburger occasionally." She smiled at Jacob across the table. He smiled in return.

"That's awesome. I like rock music, particularly the heavy stuff, but really anything considered hard rock. I'm a fan of dubstep. I love books. I like hanging out with friends, too. I'm glad you like cheeseburgers. Looks like I lucked out there." The shepherd looked at his date, smiling softly.

"Yes, you did. I haven't had a good burger in a while."

"Me either." Michelle turned to see the small poodle carrying a tray with two cheeseburgers and a glass of sweet tea. The waitress gave them their food, smiled, and disappeared again. Jacob grabbed eagerly for his tea.

"Easy. You don't have to drink it instantly." Michelle said laughing.

"I'm sorry. They have really good sweet tea. You wouldn't think it would be hard to make, but it is. I've even been to a place that had sugar and tea, but couldn't make sweet tea!" Michelle giggled and took a bite of her cheeseburger.

"So, where are you from, Jacob?"

"The South." The shepherd answered between bites of his own burger.

"Ah, that explains the accent."

Jacob nodded, eating more of his burger. Swallowing, he asked, "So, what type of books do you like?"

The husky blushed slightly. "Well, mainly romance. I like some fantasy, too."

"Romance, huh? I haven't read too many of those. I really like fantasy, though."

The conversation really warmed up during the couple's dinner. The two canines quickly learned that they had much in common. They liked the same movies and actors, both loved to curl up and read, and both loved a good cheeseburger. Jacob told Michelle a little about the South, how he could shoot a gun, knew how to operate most farm equipment, and could ride an ATV since he was six years old. Michelle told him about life in the city, countless shops that had anything you could need, entertainment anytime you wanted it, and people of all sorts all around. The time rapidly disappeared as the canines talked.

Finally, the waitress brought the check. Jacob paid and asked to walk Michelle to her car. The husky agreed, and let the shepherd accompany her.

"I can't believe you grew up surrounded by a corn field!" She said, getting into her blue Eclipse.

"Yup. My hometown is literally a giant cornfield."

"Wow, and you didn't become a farmer?"

Jacob laughed. "Well, no. I've always been interested in medicine. So, may I see you again?" He looked at Michelle, with his best puppy eyes. She smiled.

"Yes, you may."

Jacob's grin got wider. "Awesome, see you then."

She laughed. "Yes. You will."

The shepherd took her paw in his hand and kissed it softly. "Until next time, my lady." Michelle blushed.

"You're funny," she said laughing, "It's cute though. See you soon." The husky cranked her car and began to leave. Jacob watched her drive off, still smiling. Tonight had gone way better than he thought it would have. He strolled back to his car, thinking of her. He liked her. He liked her a lot. Nobody had made him feel like this, not in a long time. Michelle made him feel-special. Jacob took a deep breath. The shepherd could still smell her sweet perfume. Getting behind the wheel of his car, he fell into his thoughts about the sweet husky.

****************************************************

A few weeks later, and things were going well with Michelle. Jacob couldn't get her off his mind. She was all he thought about. If his mind got any free time, it immediately focused on her. Jacob could feel himself being drawn more and more to her each day. All he wanted to do was be with her. He had called her not long after their first date. After talking for almost an hour, the two had finally decided to see a movie. Deciding which movie to see took another hour. Jacob had nearly flown up the stairs to his room to get ready.

He met her at the theatre. The pair had decided to see the new romance-comedy together. It had turned out to be pretty fun. Jacob tried to follow the clichéd plot and honestly pay attention, but he found Michelle much more interesting. Instead of watching the movie, it turned out to be two hours of the shepherd teasing the husky. Somehow, during his subtle tickling, he slipped a kiss on her cheek. Suddenly, the movie didn't matter to either one of the canines. Michelle smiled, and kissed his lips. She held her muzzle inches from his. The shepherd could feel her breath on his muzzle. He froze.

Then it happened. Their lips met, and his tongue met hers. They kissed, lost in the moment. Michelle pulled back slowly, and Jacob realized he hadn't been breathing. The husky's paw found his, and she squeezed it firmly. Jacob couldn't remember the movie later on, only that they had left the theatre holding paws.

It soon became the highlight of Jacob's week to spend time with Michelle. Even medical science, which had fascinated the shepherd since he was a pup, couldn't pull his mind from the husky. Jacob would count the hours on the clock, waiting to just call her. He was more excited to see her than he was to go to work. James teased him relentlessly. He didn't care. He felt happier than he had been in a long time. It felt better than graduating med school. Just like that, he was wrapped around her finger.

The two started spending more and more time together. It was tricky with their work schedules, but any free time they had in common, they spent together. Whether it was meeting up for lunch at a restaurant, or bowling on Michelle's night off, they were together. In just a few weeks, the two became inseparable. Jacob would lie awake late at night, texting her before she went to work, just like a teenager. He learned she was extremely ticklish under her neck, and would quickly brush his hand across it when she wasn't looking. It usually earned him a playful slap from her. The shepherd didn't mind his punishment. She always giggled and smiled radiantly after he did it. Soon, the couple spent every weekend together.

One such weekend, Jacob had invited Michelle to his house for the night. He was going to cook them some burgers and find a movie or something for them to watch together. The shepherd was busy grilling the burgers when she arrived. He watched her pull up his gravel drive from his deck. Michelle parked her car and went inside. Carefully turning the meat over, Jacob swished his tail to the rhythm of the blues music he had playing throughout his house. Michelle didn't like heavy metal like he did, but he loved blues and felt it suited the occasion. Closing his eyes to listen to a beautiful guitar solo, the canine almost jumped when he felt someone grab him from behind.

"I'm sorry. Did I spook you?" A voice giggled in his ear.

"Of course not." Jacob lied, turning to face the husky. He kissed her, holding her tight. She murred, rubbing his back.

"It looks like it's going to storm tonight." She said in his ear, looking up at the dark sky. Jacob looked up too, and saw lightning flash in the distance.

"Yeah, good thing I've made our dinner." Quickly taking the burgers off the grill, he led Michelle inside, patting her butt as she passed him. The husky gave him a playful frown. Jacob set the food on the counter. "Ok, everything's set out. Fix what you like. There's tea and cokes in the fridge." The canines fixed their meals and sat together at the counter-top in the kitchen. Their tails twisted together behind their chairs. Jacob kept messing with Michelle's legs while they ate, getting some gentle shoves from her in return. A loud rumble of thunder shook the house unexpectedly.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure we're getting a storm." Jacob remarked, putting their plates in the dishwasher.

"Oh well." Michelle said, gently swaying to the music. The shepherd noticed.

"Like blues?" He asked.

"Kind of. It's soothing."

"I've always thought so." He stepped in front of her. Placing his arms at her sides, Jacob started swaying with her.

"You know how to dance?" Michelle asked, pressing her body against his.

"Not really." The shepherd smirked.

"Me either. I guess you can just hold me and move with me."

"Sounds like a plan." The pair danced, slowly circling around Jacob's living room, while the blues played on. Jacob put his muzzle against Michelle's neck. His breathing tickled her, and she clutched at his back. For a long time, the two just circled, neither speaking. Neither one noticed it getting darker, or the storm picking up outside. Jacob kissed the husky's neck. She moaned softly. Pulling back, she took the shepherd's muzzle in her hands, and kissed him deeply. Jacob led her to the couch and pulled her on it. They kissed for some minutes.

Panting, the shepherd stared at the husky. "So," he started, "want to watch a movie?" Michelle laughed.

"Sure." Curling up in his arms, she lay against him, resting her head on his chest. Jacob turned off the music, and turned on the T.V. He found a horror movie and put it on. The next two hours went by with Michelle enjoying the movie with Jacob. She laughed at his reactions. The shepherd constantly berated the main characters and told them very clearly which doors not to open. She found it entertaining how much the young doctor got into the fight scenes. Of course, he was doing all this when he wasn't too busy feeling on her. More than once, she felt his paws wander across her body, lightly squeezing and rubbing. Not the she cared, of course. She was exploring him with her paws, too.

By the time the movie was over, heavy rain spattered against the windows. Michelle stood up, sighing heavily. "I don't want to drive home in this."

She felt Jacob grab her slowly from behind, pulling her to him. His muzzle was against her ear. She could feel his breathing, matching her own breathing. "Well," the shepherd said slowly in his thick Southern accent, "you don't have to go home." Michelle felt one of his paws drift slowly from her stomach, down, towards her jeans. The husky's pulse quickened, as the paw slid under her jeans and across her panties. Jacob murred in her ear, runnig his paw over her private area. His other paw slid up her shirt, rubbing her side. Michelle fell against him, breathing harder, letting him caress her body. The shepherd kissed her neck as he fondled the husky, getting aroused.

Michelle felt his excitement and moaned. She turned, and kissed him. Jacob still rubbed her mound and found her aroused, too. Breaking the kiss, he took her paw in his, and led her upstairs to his room. Pressing a button on the wall, he turned the music back on. Jacob gently laid her on his bed, and shut the door.

He lay beside her, while lightning flashes lit up the room seconds at a time. The couple kissed, exploring each other's bodies with their hands. Jacob began kissing Michelle's neck, getting sounds of pleasure from her. The shepherd slid his paws under her shirt, and pulled it off. Michelle grasped his back and rolled over, straddling him. Lightning flashed, allowing Jacob to see her sultry smile. Finding her hips with his paws, the shepherd moved them down to her jeans' zipper. Unzipping them, he slid them off her hips. Michelle leaned down, kissing his neck, and lifted her hips up, letting him remove her jeans. Another lightning flicker revealed her in crimson underwear. Jacob stared, panting.

He leaned up and Michelle pushed him down. Wagging her finger "no" at him, she leaned down and began pulling his shirt off. Placing her hand on his chest, she traced it down his stomach, to his belt buckle. She carefully unbuckled it and moments later had worked his jeans off of him. The shepherd moaned, as her paws found his boxer's waistline. The husky pulled them off and tossed them aside. The shepherd could only lie still, completely exposed under the husky. Next, she reached behind her, undoing her bra. Sliding her hands down her body, she slowly pulled her panties off. Jacob clutched his covers, fighting to control himself, while Michelle sat, naked, on top of him. She leaned closer and kissed him.

Thunder shook the house and lightning filled the room with bright light in frequent flashes as the canines made love. The only sounds in the room were the occasional thunderclap, the melody of the music, and the canines' sounds of pleasure. Jacob couldn't explain what he felt, moving in rhythm with Michelle. Both were lost in their passion for each other. The storm howled outside the house, but neither noticed. All that mattered was that they were together. Soon, Jacob's motions became stronger, nearing his climax. His paws gripped Michelle's hips and a small howl escaped from him as he climaxed. Michelle held onto him, howling herself, reaching her own climax. Falling on top of the shepherd, she kissed him. They lay there, tied together, while the storm died down outside.

For a while, nothing happened, the couple just lay together, listening to each other breathe. Then, Jacob leaned towards Michelle's ear. "I love you, Michelle." He whispered softly, tickling her ear slightly.

"I love you, too, Jacob." She breathed, nibbling at his ear. They held each other, until finally being able to separate. They pulled the covers around them, snuggling up to each other. Their tails found each other and twisted together. Jacob pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly.

"Good night." He whispered.

"Good night." With that, the lovers drifted into sleep, dreamingly pleasantly, holding each other tight.
