(Hello hello again! Sorry it took so long for this one to come out. Well I am pleased to say that you all enjoyed the prologue to my story! I hope the other chapters go on to be just as delicious-saurus! Enjoy!)

Chapter 1: Awakening.

Luna awoke with a stir. Her body consumed by pain that seared through her body. She rolled over onto her side, wincing slightly and blinked in surprise to find Darin, who was not only her ex but also one of her good friends asleep next to her, his head lying on the bed. She sat up and rubbed her cheek, the swelling easing up. She groaned, cursing under her breath stretching out her limbs. The movement of the bed caused the white wolf to sit up and blink looking around the room before looking to the blue she-wolf. He smiled and yawned looking down at her.

"Hey Moon..."

She blinked and forced a soft smile, "Hey Darin..." She rubbed her head gently as she yawned not being able to find words to speak to the white wolf, for she always bit her tongue in confessing her feelings for him ever since they were not together. She looked at him, her eyes gazing at him. White silken fur with a tint of blonde to it, and blazing blue eyes that were set in a strong face. She marveled at him as she always did, having grown quite fond of him. Never the less Darin was fond of her as well.

He stood then and stretched out his limbs running a paw through his short-cropped hair.

"Hungry?"

She blinked and shook her head no but still gave him her knowing soft smile that caused him to blush and smile leaving the room. Luna sighed softly and rubbed her limbs wincing. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she laid back looking up at the ceiling the events of yesterday running through her mind.

"Why did he decide to just beat me like that? I've done nothing to deserve something like that...Maybe he should have stayed gone when I was a pup....and mother wouldn't be so heart broken..."

Torn away from her thoughts as the door opened and Marcella slipped into the room humming the theme from Jaws, which caused Luna to giggle. It was a tradition they had. When one friend was down, hum Jaws and pounce. They had always done this since they were little.

Marcella laughed begin to pounce on her friend and just sat on the edge of the bed.

"How are you feeling Moon?"

She shrugged and tilted her head to the side, "Okay I figure as much...just thinking..."

Marcella smiled and laid down next to her, her tail grazing the floor, "About?"

"Life at home...how much hell it was till yesterday..."

Marcella gazed at her and grasped her paw in hers her deep green eyes soft. She always held affection for her friend that went deeper than friendship. She shook her head thinking about their life together until Luna spoke.

"Did Darin stay by me all night?"

Marcella nodded, "Yeah, he didn't want to leave you. He really cares for you girl. Why did you two ever split?"

Luna sighed and smiled sadly, "Because he cheated on me. He broke my heart..."

Marcella shook her head and placed a kiss on her friends cheek, "Well we could tell he really felt bad to see you like that." She rose and stretched, "I'm gonna go cook something to eat, I'll make sure to make your favorite."

Luna smiled and laughed softly, "As big as my appetite is go ahead."

The dragoness laughed and walked out of the room nodding, "you sure do"

Luna rose out of bed and shivered, her body sore beyond imagination. The sound of laughter filled the house and she tilted her head going to inspect. What she saw was Tobias being pinned by his mate, Ron a cheetah and Rob. She smiled seeing Ron another lifelong friend.

"Hey Moon!" Laughed Ron as he began to tickle Tobias. She smiled and yawned seeing Darin outside on the balcony. Her attention was diverted when Marcella came up behind her and hugged her gently.

"We're gonna go downtown to the mall and fuck around. Feel up to it Moon?"

What more could Luna possibly want than to be loud and silly. She nodded and murred softly.

"Hell yea I'm up for it Cella"

Marcella smiled and went back into the kitchen. Luna watched Darin from inside noting how tense he was. She sighed softly and went to the bathroom to shower up. Luna couldn't help but smile as she heard the house fill with laughter for this always made her smile. The laughter of her friends made her weak heart sore. She turned on the water and stepped inside the showerstall letting the water course through her fur.

Once she was done she came out of the bathroom stark naked and huffed. The males began to woot and holler.

"Moon are you cold?"

She tilted her head and looked down at her perked nipple and laughed, "Yea I am."

Darin's eyes glued to her luscious frame his heart racing as a blush crept up to his cheeks.

"Oh Darin! You're blushing!" Squealed Ron and Tobias.

Darin only growled and looked away as Luna whistled to Marcella, "Hey hun I might eat later tonight."

Marcella only nodded as Luna went to get dressed. Searching through her bags, she slipped on a pair of green and black pants with a tight string strap shirt and a black and green overshirt with flames on it. By the time she was done dressing the 6 headed out taking two cars to go downtown to the mall.

The mall downtown was on a street 8 blocks long with stores of everykind. The troop laughed and cooed at the couples Marcella and Rob, and Tobias and Ron. Other furs looked at them quietly as they chased each other, winding through the mass of furs on the street. Luna looked up and saw a music store as the 5 were heading to the arcade.

"I'll meet you guys there I want to see if they have a cd i want."

Marcella nodded, "Dont take too long hun."

She smiled, "I won't. I'll come find you guys, besides the arcade is just a few stores down."

They all nodded and began walking towards the arcade. Luna looked through the window of the store seeing all kinds of musical novelties and smiled to herself having a hobby of collecting such things. Her ears swiveled as loud boisterous laughter filled her ears and she sighed before blinking seeing the loming figure of her father not far away from her in the window. She gasped softly and started to shake praying to the gods that he would not see her. The gods did not hearher prayer.

"You little bitch!" Drune howled as he came towards her high and drunk as he usually was.

Luna turned around her eyes wide and ears pressed flat against her head. She trembled as the hustle and bustle in the mall slowly began to come to a standstill when Drune grabbed her by her hair throwing her to the ground causing a painful yelp to come out of her.

"You little fucking whore!" Slaps her across her face, "How dare you not come home! And you left the bathroom a fucking bloody mess!" He pinned her tot he ground as she squirmed and punched her in numerous places. "I'll teach you to disobey me!"

Her ear shattering screams reached all the parts of the mall as furs began to gasp debating wether to help her or to leave it be. though when her screams racked through the street, her friends in the arcade heard her and Darin was the first one to run. They pushed through the crowd, Tobias quirking to random furs.

"What's happening?" Tobias asked a puma.

The female puma shook her head, "A girl is being beaten. So horrible."

Darin pushed through the crowd as well as Rob and Marcella till they heard him growl. They stopped eyes wide seeing blood spurt from Luna's muzzle and nose. Darin began to shake, and once Drune's paw wrapped itself in her head and slammed her head into the concrete, the white wolf growled and tackled the black wolf to the ground pinning him and began to hit him non-stop in his face.

Marcella and Rob quickly moved to their blue friend and gathered her up. Her vision was blurry as she sobbed howling from the pain. Drune's growls roared through the street as he shoved the white wolf back.

"You fucking arrogant asshole! How dare you!" The two began to fight both equally matched. Darin consumed by anger pinned him to the ground again and grabbed him by his ears and continuously slammed his head into the concrete. Luna's vision cleared up and she growled squirming out of the clutches of the dragons and looked around. She stalked towards a Bear who was drinking a beer and snatched it out of his paws. She fumed as she looked at her dizzy father and beckoned Darin to stop. Darin looked at her and panted blood spots on his white fur. She looked down at her father and screamed.

"I hate you!!! You call yourself a father and beat me for no reason! I hate you I hate you I HATE YOU!!!"

With those last words she brought the bottle down across his skull, the glass shattering and beer soaked his face. She stumbled back and began to cry as Drune ceased moving, unconcious. Darin moved to her and picked her up looking to his friends.

"Let's go."

The crowd simply watched as the 5 left with their wounded friend. The bear blinked and groaned walking over to the unconcious black wolf and gave him a swift kick in the ribs growling, "You're dumb ass owes me a beer you fucking prick."
