The Last Human Part 15
It had been hours since Raito had took off to find the arsonist who set the building in Duckberg on fire. Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby and Doofus searched for him at the location the police officer had said and a team of police went with them, they searched the place from top to bottom by every inch but so far, they found no trace of him.
Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby and Doofus went to Scrooge's mansion as it was now getting dark. They walked inside and Scrooge, Duckworth and Mrs. Bentina Beakley waiting for them.
"Seems like all of you had a lot of fun than you can handle." said Scrooge feeling like he was relieved but his relief quickly faded. "Where's Raito?"
They were all silent since they knew that if they told them what was going on, one of them would be shocked and overwhelmed.
"We have some bad news." said Huey grimly.
"Bad news, how bad?" said Fenton Crackshell as he walked into the room.
"What do you mean bad news?" asked Launchpad McQuack walking into the room along with Gyro Gearloose, Tootsie and Bubba, Gandra Dee and Webra Walters.
"Well." Dewey began but they suddenly heard something that sounded like glass breaking somewhere inside the house.
"What was that?" said Webra as she was trying to keep everyone silent.
They had all started to suspect it was a burglar, they heard gruff grunts and foot steps closing in on them closer and suddenly, all the noise stopped. Everyone felt a need to run but no one ran.
There was silence and suddenly, out of nowhere, someone came from behind Bentina Beakley and she screamed, everyone saw a man with a metal mask holding onto Bentina Beakley with a large knife pointing at her throat.
"Do as I say and she lives." said the man.
The man wore nothing but black in a ninja uniform. Everyone wondered what to do but that's when three people popped out of nowhere, literarily, in a puff of smoke like they teleported themselves in and flash of what looked like a red laser beam shot out and hit the burglar's neck, making him drop the knife and he fell to the floor, out cold.
The three people where Raito, Flintheart and Magica. Everyone was shocked to see the three together. Raito snapped his fingers and the burglar was floating towards a chair in front of the group and rope tied him up to the chair.
"Raito, your back." said Gyro with a sigh of relief.
Raito and Bentina ran for each other and both of them hugged, both glad to see each other was alright. Scrooge turned an angry look at Magica and Flintheart.
"What are those two demons doing in my house?" said Scrooge sharply.
"Uncle Scrooge, they're on our side since I had a little talk with them." said Raito.
Raito told everyone about his vision of Flintheart and Magica down on their luck and how they no longer wanted to be going through anymore suffering and no longer wanted to be evil no more since it was too much for them and that Raito comforted them and talked to them about being on the side of good.
This shocked Scrooge and everyone there and they wondered if this was the truth.
"Prove it." said Scrooge.
"Scrooge, I've given up my ways of evil, I just can't do it anymore." said Flintheart with no sign of evil in his eyes or on his face.
"You've mistreated Raito for being different, why should I trust you?" asked Scrooge sounding strict.
"Because Raito informed me about all this anger is bad for our hearts at our ages and one day, that anger will kill us, it will one day really kill us both and I don't want to die." said Flintheart and this time, he looked them in the eye. "I apologizes for all those cruel things I've done to everyone and Raito."
Scrooge started to believe him and knew everything he said was right since Raito had brought out the good inside him.
"What Raito did to my house, well, I'll admit, I deserved it after the way I treated him." said Flintheart kindly when Flintheart was never kind to anyone in his life.
Now everyone turned to Magica and they all knew it was her turn to prove to everyone that she's no longer evil as well.
"Scrooge, I'll admit, I've been a royal bitch. After the last time I tried to steal your number one dime and failed, that just told me that I didn't want to go through that again, I've had enough with being an evil witch." said Magica as she too looked them in the eyes and shown no signs of evil nor any signs of lying. "I'll confess that I've caused trouble for Raito before but he managed to outsmart me everytime, his brain power is stronger than my magic, his magic is stronger than mine, after he talked to me about everything I've felt, I felt as if the need to be evil had left me forever and he brought me towards the side of good."
Everyone started to believe Magica since she has never been nice to anyone before, this was kind of a shock to everyone and Scrooge started to believe her.
"Besides, I've once had the hots for Raito but he managed to have found me a hot, young hunk of man to be in my life." said Magica blushing and looking like she was head over heels.
They all found this surprising and everyone started to believe her.
"Also, Uncle Scrooge, I've managed to get Flintheart and Magica to see a therapist so they can get out their issues and work on leaving their evil ways behind and they must remain on our side since they're joining our side." said Raito. "They know if they disobey, they'll hear from me."
"Yes sir." said Magic and Flintheart in unison.
"Now there's one last thing to do and that is see who this burglar really is and find out what he knows and why he's hear." said Raito.
Everyone turned to the tied up burglar as he was regaining conciousness. Raito reached out to grab the mask and when he grabbed it, he pulled the mask off and everyone was very shocked at what they saw. The burglar was another human, he was a human like Raito.
