#8 of When dreams become reality

This chapter is actually 100% clean, but there's some strong language in this though. Besides that though, here's the 2nd part of the INSANELY long chapter I wrote for this part of the story in particular. Check out Ryan Masterpaladin's page and enjoy :)

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

It was now 1:10 in the afternoon. Both teams had been introduced, the National Anthem had been sung by a group of middle school kids, and before I even realized it, the game was about to start.

"NOW BATTING: NUMBER 30, MAGGLIO ORDONEZ"

"GO GET EM MAGGLIO!!!" Tony yelled out to the field from the suite, as we all watched on in anticipation to see how well the Tigers could do against C.C. Sabathia. I couldn't get over how much Tony was into the game even though it was only starting, as he was paying attention to every little bit of the game, from the speed of each pitch to the count on the batter.

"3-2 already, I hope he at least walks" I said, coming over to the seats holding another hog dog. "Here we go" I exclaimed, as we all watched C.C. throw the full count pitch to the lead off batsman.

*WHACK*

"....GO...GO....GO...GO!!!!!!!!!!!"

"HOME RUN!!!!!!" Tony shouted at the top of his lungs, cheering like crazy and then immediately picking me up and hugging me as I was still eating my hot dog. "not...so..tight...Tony" I slurred out, as I could barely breathe as he was squeezing me so hard while I still had a hot dog in my hand.

"Oh sorry mike, guess I got carried away! Haha!" Tony replied with a laugh as he put me down, and still clapped very hard after seeing Magglio hit a lead off home run to start the game. "At least they have the momentum now" Sull said, still picking out stuff to eat from the kitchen counter as he was watching the game on the wall TV.

About an hour passed with not much going on in the game after the lead off home run, except for the fact that Justin Verlander was pitching with a goal on his mind.

"WOW, he has a no hitter going into the 5th here!" I exclaimed to Tony, who was so locked into the game that it almost seemed worse than Ord with his PSP.

"STRIKE THREE!" The umpire called very loudly as Justin caught A-rod looking with a fastball. "THAT'S RIGHT, TAKE A SEAT!" I shouted very loudly out to the field, with a lot of Yankee fans shouting stuff back to me from other areas around us, though it didn't bother me at all.

As Jorge Posada came up to bat, Justin seemed like he was locked in, with nothing breaking his concentration.

*BWACK!*

"catch that....." Tony softly said as the ball was popped up into center field, with Austin Jackson coming in to catch it. "YES!!!!" Tony yelled as he clinched his fist after Jackson caught the ball, ending the bottom of the 5th inning.

"Damn, still 1 to zip here! This game has been a pitcher's duel non-stop" I said to Tony, as he finally broke away from watching the game while the players were heading to the dugouts. "Yeah, my heart has been beating faster and faster with Justin getting this far in with his no-no going..." Tony replied, as I could clearly tell he was VERY nervous, since he really wanted to see his favorite pitcher go all the way.

As Tony and I went back to the kitchen to get some more stuff to eat and drink, I saw Ord on the couch playing his PSP again. I almost facepalmed at that moment and sorta laughed, since he seemed to only care about progressing further into the other character's stories in Birth by Sleep. Sull was still eating a part of the giant sub sandwich that was on the kitchen counter, while also watching the TV and just walking around the area. As the Yankee players ran back onto the field, C.C. Sabathia was about to face Alex Avila to start the top of the 6th.

Before long, Tony and I walked back over to watch the game from the regular seats to see that Alex kept fouling off ball after ball that C.C. was throwing. "Keep him working, that's right Alex" Tony said as he was eating some steak that he had just cooked up beforehand.

*THWACK!*

".....HOLY SHIT....KEEP GOING..." Tony yelled as he stood up from his seat watching the ball head for the left field crowd.

*WHAP*

"fuck...." Tony said, letting out a sigh as Andruw Jones caught the ball at the warning track right before it made it to the left field wall. "Damn...at least they still have the lead though" I said while I was sitting next to Tony. "Yeah, let's hope they can just hold it..."

"HEY TONY!!!"

Tony looked around the area as I did as well, thinking to myself how that voice sounded somewhat familiar. "TONY!" The voice shouted again, as we heard it coming from the left of us. I finally looked over to the seating area two boxes left of us to see a GIANT whale along with a tall Kodiak bear walking over towards our box area.

"Holy shit...GANTU?!" Tony exclaimed with a shocked look on his face, with my face almost having a more shocked expression than when we first walked into the suite. "Hey there! Long time no see!" Gantu exclaimed as he finally got over to our suite area. "Damn, it's been at least a couple of years!" Tony responded as the two hugged each other. Gantu was easily taller than Tony and even James, as he was at least close to 9 feet. I was still floored by how built the big guy was as he was standing in front of us. He looked the same as he did when I saw him on TV when I was younger, with his blue eyes and well built figure. He was wearing a VERY large Yankees jersey along with some black sweatpants, as well as a Yankees hat, which he had on backwards.

"Hey there guys!" Gantu then exclaimed as he looked over to see Sull and Ord. "GANTU?!?!" Sull replied, not believing who he was seeing. Ord was still playing his PSP before looking up to see who was standing near Tony and myself as well as James who headed over to the seating area. "WOW, what are you doing here?" Ord shouted as he quickly put his PSP down and came up to Gantu as well as we were all in the seating area. "Hahaha, I have season tickets this year for my team, you just better hope that Verlander can keep his streak going in this one" Gantu replied laughing, while hitting Tony with his arm sarcastically.

As the four started talking, I noticed that one of the Tigers struck out to end the inning. "Oh damn, looks like C.C. is still pitching like an ace" I said, with Tony looking over and giving a bit of a disgruntled look on his face as we watched the Yankees go back to the dugout.

"So who's this person?" Gantu asked with a bit of a confused look on his face, looking right at me with his giant blue eyes.

"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you, this is Mike....the most amazing person I've ever met." Tony replied back. My face started turning red again as I quickly stood up from the seats and went over to shake Gantu's hand. Before I could shake his hand though, Gantu looked at me with a bit of a frown after he saw the Red Sox jersey I was wearing.

"....you're a Boston fan? Oh well...haha"

I laughed a bit myself, and we shook hands right after that. His hand was easily twice the size of mine, but it had a gentle touch to it and also felt really warm.

"Hey, you didn't introduce us to this guy!" Tony exclaimed as he looked behind Gantu to see the giant brown Kodiak bear standing behind the big whale.

"Oh yeah I forgot to introduce him to you all. This is my mate, Kumi. We met in Tokyo and have been together for about a year in a half."

"Hi there...nice to meet you all" the 7 foot tall light brown Kodiak bear said to all of us, with a bit of a Japanese accent. He was also well built like Gantu, wearing a Seibu Lions jersey as well as a gold necklace and black jeans.

"WOW, I would LOVE to visit Tokyo" I exclaimed, marching right up to Kumi and shaking hands with the big bear. "Yeah...it is nice place. But here I like New York more." He replied with a bit of a slur. "Yeah it is REALLY nice here in the city" I replied as Tony, Ord, and James eventually introduced themselves to Kumi afterwards.

The six of us eventually started talking to one another, with all of us not even paying attention to the game at that point, though Tony kept looking back over from time to time.

"OUT!" The umpire yelled from first base as Miguel Cabrera caught the ball that was hit by Derek Jeter. "Holy shit, that's 6 now!" Tony exclaimed as the Tigers got three quick outs and headed back to their dugout.

**** "Why do we have to do this?" Jim asked, as the Boar was sitting in his Oldsmobile again next to the Cougar in the parking lot of the Big Apple Mart.

"Remember dude, boss called us and told us to search the perimeter since we saw the guy around this time yesterday. Walk around and DO NOT draw attention. We need to find the human and get him, regardless of how many times we have to come back here" Eric replied, sitting in the passenger's seat again.

"But do we really need to?" Jim asked, with a small sigh.

"YES, boss is paying us well to do this, since Marcus is his favorite guy, and boss doesn't want ANYONE getting away with what happened." The Cougar said back, looking a bit pissed off at the Boar's lazy attitude.

"Ok, I guess, but I'm not walking around long. I don't care how long boss makes us do this, I fucking hate walking around the public..." Jim replied with a very angry look on his face as he got out of his car.

"Meet back in a few hours, if you see him then try to get him when he's most vulnerable" the cougar said as they both got out and started walking across the street.

"Whatever" the Boar said, sighing again as the two split up and started walking around the area of the Big Apple Mart and the Daily News headquarters.*****

"YEAH JUSTIN!!!" Tony screamed as Verlander finished up the 8th inning by striking out Brett Gardner. "3 MORE GUYS!" Tony yelled as he started to high five Ord, Sull and myself, but Gantu looked a bit ticked off and Kumi just kept watching like normal. "COME ON YANKS, GET SOMETHING!" Gantu yelled out, which made a lot of people look at him from around the area since he shouted it so loudly.

C.C. finally came out of the game after throwing 98 pitches through eight innings, only allowing the lead off home run and only an additional 3 hits afterwards. Mariano Rivera was coming in, which surprised me a bit since the Tigers were still ahead. As I got off my seat to go grab some more food, I started thinking about Tony's gift and started worrying a bit. I had to make sure I got to the press area without Tony suspecting anything after the game was over with. Tony didn't seem to notice that I didn't even take anything out of my bag to write anything during this whole time we were in the suite, but I think the no-hitter going by Verlander really helped cover that up.

As I grabbed some more food, I look on the TV to notice that Mariano had already gotten the first two outs VERY quickly, throwing only 4 pitches. I started to cook myself another hot dog when I looked over again to see a ball get popped up by Magglio Ordonez, which was caught by A-Rod to end the top of the 9th in less than a few minutes.

"Here we go..." I softly said as I walked back over to Tony and the others, who were all now standing on their feet in anticipation to see if Verlander would achieve what seemed to be unthinkable....a no hitter on the opening day against the Yankees. Verlander and the Tigers came back out to the field and started warming up. Tony started clapping vigorously in hopes that the final three outs would happen without any hits being given up, especially since it was only a one run game.

"NOW BATTING, NUMBER 2, DEREK JETER" The crowd rose to its feet, wondering themselves if they would see a no-hitter by the Tigers pitcher. The first two pitches were fouled off very quickly, as Jeter fell into the hole 0-2.

"Here it comes...." I said, waiting in anticipation as Verlander wound up to throw the 0-2 pitch.

*WHACK*

"Get it....GET IT....GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Tony screamed at the top of his lungs as Brennan Boesch was running back, but had enough room at the warning track to put his glove up and catch the ball.

"YEAH!!! TWO MORE GUYS!!!" Tony screamed again out to the field, not paying attention to anything else at this point.

"NOW BATTING, NUMBER 14, CURTIS GRANDERSON"

The crowd was cheering more for Verlander now, as there hadn't been a no-hitter thrown against the Yankees since the Astros threw one in 2003 against the team. The first pitch was thrown to be a bit low, and I then noticed that Alex Avila went out to the mound to have a bit of a talk with Justin. I looked over to the scoreboard and happened to see that Justin's pitch count was up to 114, since he had given up A LOT of foul balls and several walks over the course of the first eight innings. "He's looking tired...I dunno if he can get this done" I said softly, but Tony didn't even seem to hear me. He was just so focused on watching Justin face Curtis.

Justin was set, and he wound up to throw the 1-0 pitch.

*BWAck* *SNAP*

"Holy shit the bat broke!" I exclaimed as the ball was heading towards the third baseman VERY slowly. "Go...gooooo....GOOOOOOOO...." Tony shouted, clinching his fist wondering if Wilson Betemit would make it to the ball.

Wilson got to the ball, barehanded it and threw it as hard as he could to first base. It seemed like one of those plays that took an eternity to happen, but Curtis was already near the base anyway.

"SAFE!" The umpire called as the ball was VERY late making it to the first baseman, and the no-hitter was officially broken by an in-field hit. "Awwww...FUCK" Tony yelled as he punched his own hand, upset that he wasn't able to see a no-hitter.

"YEAH GO CURTIS!!!" Gantu yelled sitting near us. Tony gave him an awkward look and just kept paying attention to the game. Sull and Ord at this point both were sitting down in the regular seats, with their arms around each other's shoulders. It was a very cute scene between the two. Kumi was still looking on like any other normal fan watching the game, not really seeming to be into the whole ordeal compared to the rest of us.

Robinson Cano was the next to bat, now with a man on first. Verlander took his stance and threw the first pitch VERY quickly. I heard the bat hit the ball, but it sounded very weak. Right after the ball was hit, Tony and I stood up as we noticed where the ball was heading.

"DOUBLE PLAY, GET HIM!!!!" Tony exclaimed forcefully, as the ball went to the Carlos Guillen, playing 2nd base. He threw it to Jhonny Peralta for the force out at 2nd, and then Peralta threw it to first for the double play to end the game.

"TIGERS WIN!!! THAT'S RIGHT!!" Tony yelled, and I stood up and started cheering myself. Tony immediately turned to me after cheering insanely loudly for his team and gave me a hug. "Good game....I guess" Gantu said, looking like he couldn't believe what he just saw. "You guys wait till next time" he then said with a bit of a smile, in which we all got a laugh out of that.

"That was a pretty damn good performance that's for sure" Sull said, with Ord nodding next to him. Kumi clapped as the game had ended and stood up from the seats as he started to stretch. As the Tigers were high fiving each other on the field, we got up off our seats as well to get ready to head out of the suite. "Shit...I gotta get this done now" I kept thinking to myself, not having high hopes of pulling off the ultimate birthday present for my Tiger.

"Alrighty guys, let's get going here, hopefully we can beat the traffic" Tony said as we all started to grab our stuff to head out the door. As Tony started walking to the door though, I was still overlooking the field as all the players were wrapping everything up on there. I didn't want to leave the suite so soon, since it seemed like we had just got there not long before. I finally turned around to grab my stuff and noticed that Sull was right there near the couch looking at me. I looked up at him and noticed that he gave me another wink like he did earlier. I knew that was a good sign meaning that he was still in on the plan, but I still wasn't 100% confident about it. As I winked back and walked towards him, Sull whispered very quietly in my ear "gantu and kumi are in on it too."

"Hey Gantu, Kumi, wanna come over to my house? Tony asked as he looked back to still see the big whale still in our box area. "Of course big Ton, I mean, we haven't hung out in SUCH a long time!" And with that, we got all of our stuff and headed out the door of the luxury box.

As we all went to the elevator to head back down to the lower level, I couldn't help but become really nervous at that moment. I looked down at my bag and just hoped that Sull would come through for me with the plan I had in mind.

The elevator door opened, and as we all walked out, Sull started walking to the right, back towards the public area, even though Tony's car was outside the stadium to the left. "Where you going James?" Tony asked with a confused look. "Oh I want to get....a couple of souvenirs, that was an AMAZING game." Sull said with a bit of a grin.

"Ummm..ok I guess" Tony replied, looking like he didn't really want to head back towards the public since he looked like he wanted to get out quickly enough to beat the traffic.

We all started walking to the public area again, and as we got there, people were still filing out of the stadium like CRAZY. I think having Ord, Gantu, James and Tony around me made me think my plan could work out because I overheard TONS of people talking about all of them around us.

Before I knew it, I started seeing people come up to all four guys and start asking for autographs. Tony did not look like he wanted to do anymore autographs, but after Ord and Gantu started taking pictures with people, Tony started doing the same. Kumi was waiting near the back area, just casually hanging around while the other four were being swamped by people. "Mike, this is it, go now!" Sull said as he turned to me while he was starting to sign stuff for people himself. I nodded back and snuck out of the area, and started walking down a long corridor of the stadium.

"Excuse me, where is the Detroit locker room?" I asked an employee walking through the stadium as I showed him my press badge while people were still filing out past me. "Oh, right this way sir" the human replied, walking me down quite a ways through a corridor of the stadium before coming to a big door that read "STAFF ONLY". "Through this door and take your first right, and then another right after that" The guy said to me, as he opened the door for me to head through.

"Thanks a lot, I appreciate it" I replied back, as I started walking down a VERY narrow hallway that had white cinderblocks all around it. After walking down about a hundred feet, I took my first right to see that there were A LOT of doors that seemed to be for certain workers there, before I finally took another right to see a sign on the door that said "LOCKER ROOM". The door was open and I overheard A LOT of people talking in there.

"Damn, I better get this out" I thought to myself as I opened my bag, and pulled out my notebook, still seeing my jersey in the bag with Justin's name on the back of it.

I walked into the locker room to notice that the press wasn't really talking to any of the players, except for one of them, and that was the pitcher who threw a one hitter on the opening day of the season, Verlander himself.

I quickly thought that I should use this time to talk to the other players in the locker room, and hope that I would be able to ask them to do me a favor as well afterwards. I walked up to Magglio Ordonez who looked like he was just talked to before by a bunch of people and asked him a couple of questions.

"So how did it feel getting that home run against C.C. in the first to lead off your season?"

Magglio looked at me and sarcastically smiled after seeing my Red Sox jersey and replied with an accent "It was unbelievable. I couldn't believe I hit that ball to lead off the game, and I also can't believe that WON the game for us." I smiled back and started writing what he was saying into my notebook. After asking a few other questions to him, asking about his team and especially how Justin pitched, I finished writing up everything in my journal.

"Hey Magglio, could I ask a favor?" Magglio looked back at me with a confused looked, but said "Yeah?"

"Could...you sign this Jersey for me? It's supposed to be a birthday present for my friend.....Tony......the Tiger..."

"No way dude, show me the proof, I don't believe you..." Magglio replied back somewhat sarcastically, but he looked like he was being serious.

I knew exactly what to do at that moment, with my phone proving to be the big savior of the day. I quickly grabbed my G2 out of my pocket, turned it on, and showed the photo gallery of me, Tony, Ord and Sull all together in the luxury box from earlier to Ordonez.

"No shit dude! Tony is a Tigers fan? Haha!!!" Magglio laughed with a big smile as I did as well. A few of his other teammates overheard him, and I then heard Alex Avila exclaim "Wow, I'm a HUGE fan of his!" as he was changing.

"Hell yeah let me sign that jersey!" Magglio said back to me. And with that, I opened my bag and pulled out the Tigers jersey, along with a black marker that I had in there as well.

Magglio signed the jersey, and then we shook hands after. "Thanks man, I'll definitely show you a picture of his reaction haha" I said after he signed it. Before I knew it, I was able to pretty much convince every single Tigers player to sign the jersey for Tony while I was also able to write some notes down for my column.

***** "Where's mike??" Tony asked as the number of people that wanted signatures from him was dwindling down, though there were still a pretty good amount of people wanting pictures and autographs from the other three. "I think... he said he was going to the bathroom... or some store, can't remember" Sull replied, with Tony looking a bit worried. "If he doesn't come back soon then I'll go look for him" Tony said back, with James starting to develop a worried look on his face. "Hurry Mike!" James thought to himself, as he knew there wasn't much time left for before Tony would start looking around the area.*****

After I got pretty much every player's signature onto the jersey, Justin was the only player left that I needed to get. Luckily, most of the press had left at that point, as they all went out to the conference area where each manager was answering questions about the game.

I walked up to Justin who was finishing getting his stuff together. "That was one HELL of a game you played today there!" I exclaimed, still amazed at his performance.

"Yeah, I'm shocked I was able to do THAT well, especially against one of the toughest teams out there" Justin replied back to me with a grin.

"Just make sure you don't do that to my Red Sox!" I replied with a laugh. "HAHA! I'll try to take it easy on them just for you then" Justin exclaimed.

After writing down some more stuff into my notebook as well as asking a few smaller questions, I finally asked "Hey Justin, these guys just signed this jersey for me since it's for...."

"Yeah I heard, lemme have it here" Justin replied, as if he REALLY wanted to sign the jersey for Tony.

"I bought your jersey cause he said you're his favorite player" I told Justin. "Me? Really?!" He exclaimed with a VERY surprised look on his face. "Here, let me do one better for the big Tiger then..." Justin went over and grabbed a baseball, and then wrote on the ball and the Jersey:

*TO TONY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, -JUSTIN VERLANDER*

"Tell him I'd like HIS autograph next time!" Justin said to me with a bit of a laugh as I put both the ball and jersey into my bag VERY carefully, not wanting to mess up any of the signatures.

"I definitely will, thanks guys for everything!" I exclaimed as I waved at all the players and left the locker room. I was so lost in the moment from the excitement of getting Tony his gift and meeting all the Detroit players that I didn't even realize that a good 30 minutes had passed since I first left Tony and the others. I looked at my phone, seeing that it was now 4:30 P.M.

"OH SHIT, I gotta hurry!" I shouted, as I quickly ran through the narrow hallway back towards the door that read "STAFF EXIT".

I opened the door to notice that the corridor was almost completely empty now, with all the stores and food stands closing up around me. I ran as fast as I could before I eventually came back to the MLB Superstore to still see it open. I looked down to the end of the area to see that Sull was talking to Tony about something while there were only a couple of people left in the area wanting their pictures and autographs from the four of them. "whew! I think Sull might have actually pulled one out for me..." I thought to myself as I started walking back towards the four of them.

"MIKE! Where the hell have you been?" Tony shouted with a worried look on his face, but also being happy to see me.

"I was.... checking out that MLB store.... down that way while you guys were signing stuff" I replied with a sort of slur, pointing to the store at the other end of the area. "Don't scare me like that!" Tony said back, putting his hand on my shoulder, and then eventually finishing up signing stuff for people. Sull looked at me when Tony turned away to sign more stuff, and I gave him a big thumbs up, signaling that everything went perfectly in terms of what I wanted to get for Tony. James smiled and gave me a thumbs up back before signing some more stuff.

"Ok then, I guess that's a wrap..." Sull said as he finally took a final picture with a small kid, and then the rest of us nodded. We all started heading back towards the hallway where we came through when we first got to the stadium, and eventually made it back to the parking lot area for the V.I.P. members.

"Where did you park Ganti?" Tony asked as we all started getting near the orange hummer.

"It couldn't be in a better spot Tony, I think we parked right across from you" Gantu responded as he pointed out his red Dodge RAM 3500.

"DAMN that's a nice truck! You should see my mom's, she brings it to car shows and wins all kinds of competitions hehe" I said to Gantu.

"Heh, thanks Mike, it's really the only vehicle I can fit myself into without having to bend over." Gantu responded, with all of us laughing after.

"My place then for a GRRRRRREEAATTT celebration?" Tony asked with a smile, with all of us agreeing and eventually getting in our vehicles to head out.

"The plan worked...I can't wait to give it to him..." I thought to myself, as I wanted to make sure that the expression on Tony's face would be memorable for his birthday that was going to happen in 3 days. I just had to make sure that I could get a frame for the jersey and the baseball, and I also wanted to make sure that everyone would be there for his special day.

Since we had stayed at the stadium longer than almost everyone else, we didn't run into too much traffic afterwards when we left. It still took us about 45 minutes to get back to Tony's house, but after listening to some more Eurobeat on my Ipod in Tony's Hummer, 45 minutes seemed to pass by VERY quickly

After we got out of the car to head back into the house, Gantu's truck pulled up into Tony's driveway not long after. "Wow, this place hasn't changed at all....heh" Gantu said as he got out of his truck along with Kumi.

"Wow, that's a nice house" Kumi exclaimed as he kept looking around the whole outside area of Tony's place.

As we all walked inside the house, I quickly ran up the stairs back to Tony's room to put my bag away. The last thing I wanted to do was have him look through it, or even see it for that matter since the gift was in it. I came back downstairs after to luckily notice that Tony didn't seem to wonder why I went upstairs, since he was putting his own stuff away along with everyone else.

The rest of the day seemed to pass by normally, with the 6 of us hanging around Tony's house, chilling out and doing fun things together as a group. It quickly became 8 P.M. before I knew it, and as I was playing some Modnation racers with Ord, I overheard the phone ring from another room.

"Hello?" Tony asked as he picked it up. "Oh hey there Janice!" Tony exclaimed after as he started talking softly afterwards while Ord and myself kept playing the PS3. ".......alrighty, sounds good, I'll be there tomorrow! Thanks again!...alrighty, you too, bye!" Tony said on the phone, eventually hanging it up.

"Who was that?" Gantu asked as he was sitting at the dining room table playing Poker with Sull, Kumi and Tony. "That was Janice, she works with me at Kelloggs" Tony replied as he sat back down as the cards were being dealt again. "They wanted to know if I could do a commercial shoot in Stamford tomorrow, which is about an hour from here." "So you gonna do it?" James asked, looking at his cards very carefully with a small grin, knowing he had a good hand. "Yeah, I think I should..." Tony replied, knowing that he hadn't worked lately after all the shit had gone down over the last several days. "You think Mike should stay here?" Sull asked after, with Tony thinking for a bit after James asked him that. "Hey Mike, come over here" Tony exclaimed to me.

I was VERY zoned in to the game along with Ord, but after Tony called me a second time with a much louder voice, I quickly paused the game on the controller. "Yeah Ton?" I asked, walking over to the dining room area. "I have to go out of the state tomorrow hun, want to come with me to Stamford?" I wanted to go with him, but I also figured that this would actually be the perfect time to set up everything for Tuesday.

I sort of hesitated for a bit, but finally said "......Well, I would, but I think I need to get caught up on some work here with my article especially after today. I think I might just get in your way as well hehe" I said with a laugh, though Tony didn't seem too thrilled.

"Awwwww damn...well I guess you're right though, both of our jobs are really important so I guess we can't get distracted" Tony mumbled as he started looking through his cards again.

"Turn em up!" Gantu yelled as the four of them started getting back into their Poker game.

"One pair..." Kumi murmured, still not 100% sure he knew how to play as he showed two seven's along with a couple of smaller cards.

"Three of a kind here" Tony said, showing three jacks along with a two and a five.

"FULL HOUSE!" James exclaimed as he threw down three eights and two queens, but Gantu was smiling after.

"Oh I hate to ruin your night big guy, but I got one better. FOUR ACES." As gantu placed them on the table, we all stared on in shock, not believing what he had.

"DAMN that's impressive" I exclaimed, before I started walking back towards the living room. "Wait, don't go yet Mike" Sull exclaimed, and I quickly came back over to the table. "Tony, why don't we take Mike back to our place tomorrow? He hasn't seen it yet...."

"Sounds good, you guys have been here quite awhile anyway haha" Tony said sarcastically, with James and myself laughing after.

I went back over to Ord in the living room to play some more Modnation Racers with him, as he seemed to be waiting for me impatiently. "So what's going on" Ord asked me while I sat down on the couch. "Looks like I'm staying at your place tomorrow, that will work out perfectly to plan out the whole thing for you know who." I quietly replied back with a small grin. Ord winked at me after I said that and we started playing the game again. I knew that tomorrow would be one of my busiest and also productive days ever with all the ideas I had planned. It was just a matter of whether everything would unfold smoothly or not.

****

*RIINNNGGGGGGG*

"Yeah, who this be."

"Hey boss, it's Eric. We couldn't find anything today, we're on our way back to the local place."

"You called me to tell me you didn't grab what I paid for you and that other fatass to get?"

"Sorry.... boss, we'll make sure we keep searching the area as long as it takes."

"Good, Marc and Andre are at that other spot I told you about up north. Get that human and bring him out here to us. You better not call me again unless you catch that guy that got my best worker busted."

"Got it." The cougar replied as he hung up the phone, sitting in the passenger's seat while the Boar was driving the car back to their local hangout in the back streets of the city. "Boss is pissed we didn't get him yet" Eric forcefully said to Jim. "I don't want to hear what the damn cat thinks, I'm fucking tired" Jim replied, wanting to get back to the abandoned building that they all hung out so that he could get some sleep. "Let's worry about that shit tomorrow, they're not here anyway with us." Jim then said to Eric, as they finally arrived at their hangout about 5 minutes later. "Yeah, we'll get him. It's just a matter of time" the cougar said as they got out of their car and walked into their hangout to crash for the night. *****
