Have you ever felt the feeling that you never truly belonged in your family; the feeling that you stood out like a sore thumb to everyone around you, or the feeling that no matter what you did, you would always feel out of place? If you answered yes to all three of these questions, then goody for you; now try to think of it like this. You are the only one of your kind left alive, finding out in history books that the race you were, was slowly dying or changing into another shape and form. Now think for a moment, out of the blue, the same race that were thought to be long gone, out of nowhere, one is left on the step of a home for a family of dragons to take care of, can't think of it, well I can; because I am that person.

The eighteen year old young man posted the blog he was typing up onto his website he made long ago. Being the only human left in the world had it perks, like being somewhat famous, but still, the way he saw people looking at him; sent shivers down his spine. Wiping his brow clean of his sweat, he dragged his hands to his hair, pushing it backward as a bit of black hair pulled free into his hands. Looking down he sprinkled the hair off his hands and he then leaned back in his chair, draping his arms behind the chair, his green and sliver outline eyes closed as he rubbed the thin trimmed bread he was growing after a while. He was bared chest at the moment, like he always was when he was in his room, his body not that strong looking, as his few friends he did have would joke by calling him chicken chest. The hair he had on his chest almost connected his bread that would grow on his neck, but he made sure to trim it down slightly as a snail trail was seen going toward his groin. Shaking his head he watched as already he saw that some comments were already being made by his watchers. Over the year, the human made videos of how he felt and answering some questions to his viewers. Some even asked if they could meet him, many leaving in the same town as him. He would agree, but none ever did come, and that didn't really bother him that much. Leaning forward he started to read some of the comments left by the viewers.

I'm sorry you are feeling like this Brandon. One wrote to him as he looked down to the next.

Don't worry, another said. You have friends here and families to help you though! The human known as Brandon sighed and sighed off the website before more could be read. Standing up and putting a clean shirt on, he went to his door to open, and once he did, something jumped and hugged his chest tightly.

"Hey big brother!" Brandon smiled lightly looking down at the small pink dragoness clinging to him. She wore a white shirt as well, long blue pants with the tail able to freely be out as well as her wings. She held no horns unlike their father, but held hair like their mother which was as white as snow. "Whatcha doing?"

"Just going to get something to eat then go to school like I do on the weekdays." He answered holding her in one arm walking down the hall as she giggled and snuggled in his arms. "Shouldn't you be eating your food anyway Ember?"

"I wanted to wait for you big brother!" she beamed at him showing her white teeth. He smiled lightly, even though she knew he was not her brother by blood, she still called him brother and loved him even more; and he loved her more like that. As they made their way into the dinner room, their mother, a dragoness a little smaller then he sat on the table drinking coffee from her mug as she looked up with deep blue eyes. Her hair white hair tied into a ponytail today as she also wore a long blue dress. Her golden scales gleaming in the morning light as her two children sat down to eat.

"Good morning Brandon," she said to him as he nodded. "And how are you today?"

"Same old I guess," he answered as Ember grabbed the salt by his hand to put on her bacon as Brandon only smiled. "And you?"

"Good as well." As she watched him, she seemed to notice that his mind was somewhere else, and she knew why, last night, he asked if she and his father knew who put him on their steps when he was just a baby. He was picking at his food lightly, his face blank and eyes half closed, whenever he looked like this, it was known he was thinking hard for something. "I'm sure they had a good reason Brandon," she told him. "I mean...everyone does."

"And I just want to know why," he answered lowly as Ember looked up for a moment before her mother turned to her and nudged her head to the living room. Taking her plate, she left to watch TV as the gold dragoness went over to hug her human son tightly as he just sat in his chair looking down; seeming unfazed by the gustier.

"Just think of it like this honey," she told him lightly looking him straight in the eye. "If they never did, I would've never gotten such a loving son such as you."

"Nor would I," both turned to see a large black dragon walk in, towering over Brandon slightly his muscles clearly showing though the suit he worked at the office as a press editor. Black horns going behind his head then curved down, as small black bumps on his back were seen going down toward his tail. His wings tucked on his back. "You are our son no matter what Brandon, and I don't care myself why they left you here, they were left out of a fine man you've turned out to be!" Brandon slightly smiled a bit, hearing his mother and father speak to him like this made him feel a bit better of himself.

"Thanks mom...dad...thanks..."

"Think nothing of it son," the father spoke. "Now why don't you get ready, we'll leave early and go to eat out and you can eat while I drive you to school, I'll see you later Jenny." He went over and kissed his wife on the lips as she giggled slightly kissing him back.

"Alright Rick, you have a good day, you too as well Brandon."

"Its school," he answered. "It's like prison!"

"A prison where you can leave and go as you please!" Came the small voice of Ember, as the adults and human laughed loudly.

Taking a bite out of his B-E-L-T bagel, Brandon washed it down with a quick gulp of juice he got with his order as his father drove in the early hours of the morning. He and many of the other classmates he study with took the very early morning new classes that were made, starting close to five o'clock in the morning to twelve o'clock; and then shifted for the other students. Brandon never mind waking up so early, he was surprised when his seven year old sister would be up with him with all her energy; sometimes, he wished he had her energy.

"Another day, another brain cell about to die right son?" Rick laughed as he remembered Brandon saying this about school years ago as Brandon laughed as well, eating the rest of his bagel and drink as he smiled.

"You know it dad," he answered.

"How's that site going on?" he knew about Brandon site, even which he would put up photos oh himself with his little sister. He and his mother didn't mind this at all, they just wished that he would show what picture he would put up and they were allowed to see the site every few days to make sure.

"It's going good I guess," answered Brandon looking out of the window. "More people are following my blogs and so froth, you know same old." The dragon nodded as he turned to the edge of the curb, as soon as the car stopped; Brandon made his way out, bag on his shoulder as he closed the door. As Rick drove off leaving his son standing outside the two story tall school that he studied in, the human thought long and hard about the life he had. And once he started to walk toward it, he started to also think about his birth mother and father, why they left him and who were they to do that. Did they think he would have a better life with the family they picked, did Rick and Jenny really know his family and just didn't tell him because it was their wish to? Bringing his hand to his face to rub his eyes, Brandon sighed and shook his head lightly. This much thinking in the morning always made him lightheaded, and he really didn't need this much to think on at the moment.

"Everyone may I have your attention please?" the English teacher, a pale skin orca who wore the same blue jeans and blue shirt to class and perky breast for someone close to forties called out making all students look up. "We have a new student joining us today, and I would like you to meet her, come on in now." She turned to the open door as the student of mention walked in. as Brandon watched, he noticed that this student was unlike many of the student of the school, in fact she was the only one of her kind attaining the school at the moment. With what looked to be leaves growing from the back of her hands, her light green skin and red under chin that went toward her chest and belly, but was covered from the clothing she was wearing. Breast tenting the black shirt as her brown pants hung a little higher then her ankles. Around the time of the humans dying out or changing, some were also changed into beings seen only in games, which confused many when they found out hundreds of year later. The female Pokémon stood beside the teacher, her gold like eyes looking down as her hands behind her back, the leaf on her head going back moved with her head as she tried to not look anyone in the eye. To Brandon she looked to be blushing from having to be introduced to everyone, and he could relate, he was the only human in the school, and the world, but he still felt the same for her at the moment. "This is Tundra," the Orca went on placing a hand on the girl shoulder. "Now I want you all to be nice to her and not give her a hard time, in fact; Brandon?"

"Yes ma'am?" he asked looking up as Tundra looked up at him as well, her eyes slightly widened when she saw him.

"May you take Tundra around the school? You are far ahead in all of your class works in all of your courses and I know the other teachers will understand that you take the day off to show her around. I'll call them right now and make sure it's alright; may you two wait outside?"

"Yes Miss Tuner," he nodded as he heard a few of his classmates say how much of a lucky bastard he was as he stood, taking his bag and walking up to Tundra who followed after him to stand outside the classroom door.

"It's really you," he heard a slight mutter coming from the Pokémon girl. "You're Brandon!"

"Last time I checked yeah," he smiled lightly looking at her. "Why do you seem so surprised?"

"I follow you on your website," she answered as Brandon nodded; now knowing why she was looking at him like she was just moments ago. "And I saw what you posted today too, I'm sorry you feel like that; it must be hard." Brandon sighed and brought one of his feet up on the wall, crossing his arms and nodded.

"At times it is very hard," he answered. "Knowing that you are the last of your kind and that your birth family didn't want you...yeah it's hard." Tundra rubbed one of her arms looking down from him, he sensed that she was feeling uneasy and looked to her. "Hey don't get all sad on me now, you were only asking I mean, right?"

"Yeah," she answered looking back at him. "But I shouldn't have pried."

"Look, it's no worry alright?" he placed a hand on her shoulder. "Trust me, people online have been prying far longer then you have alright?" they both laughed lightly as Miss Tuner came out with two hall passes.

"Alright you two," she spoke. "I left a message to all staff saying that you two are free to wonder to look at the school, once done you may leave to go home if you so wish."

"Thank you Miss Tuner," Brandon spoke to her.

"Think nothing of it," she answered back. "Oh, and your test came back Brandon, you got a hundred percent on it." Brandon smiled lightly as she went back to the class, while closing the door to speak to the class.

"And this is the school field where we go out in gym class on a nice day," Brandon spoke while pointing with a finger.

"Wow, its bigger then my old school!"

"Well we do have a lot of people who love to run around," he answered. "Most of the student here are from the cat and dog family." She nodded as he started to walk again with her beside her. "Mind if I sit down for a bit...I need to take my pills," Tundra looked to him for a moment with questions in her eyes as he went over to a tree with her behind.

"Your pills?" she asked as he sat down opening his bag.

"Yeah," he answered lightly. "You see, for over a year now, I sometime have seizers, so twice a day, I take these pills." He took out a bottle and shook it with the pills inside as he also took out a bottle of water. "They work mind you, it's just...if I forget to take them for too long...I well..."

"I get it," she answered as he popped one into his mouth with a quick gulp of water and gulped it down shaking his head.

"Gah...I hate taking them!" he put the pills away as Tundra laughed lightly causing him to smile. "So anything you wanna do now? I mean that's all there is to the school and it's close to lunch time." She looked away for a moment as if thinking as Brandon stood up. "Where do you live anyway?" he asked. "I could walk you down there if you wish?"

"I live by Joseph young," she answered as he blinked.

"So do I," he answered back as the two laughed. "Maybe if you're house is after mine, we can stop in to see my mom, I can cook us some lunch if you want?"

"That would be great," she answered with a smile as he helped her up and they started to walk down the road.

"Hey mom, you here?" Brandon opened the door and allowed Tundra to go in first, closing the door behind him and taking off his shoes. Since Tundra was a Pokémon, not many of her kind could or wouldn't wear shoes, she was one of such. The only answer Brandon got back was Ember running into his chest with one of her famous tackles hugs.

"Brother!" she squealed. "What are you doing home an hour early?"

"I was showing Tundra, the new student at school," he pointed with his thumb. "Around, the teachers allowed us to leave early if we got done, so I thought I make her some lunch before walking her home." Ember turned her eyes to Tundra, giving an almost glare look as she clung to Brandon tighter.

"What's your relationship with my Brandy...?" she nearly hissed as Tundra blinked with confusion.

"Huh...?" she asked as Brandon sighed.

"Ember be nice, we're just friends, now say sorry to her." Brandon gave her a scolding look as Ember looked back to Tundra.

"Sorry..." she bowed her head as the green female smiled.

"It's alright; you're just looking out for your brother right?"

"Yeah!" she piped up causing the two older teens to laugh.

"So where's mom Ember?" asked Brandon looking at his sister.

"I think she went in the bath and just got out, want me to tell her you have a girlfriend over?" Brandon blushed as Tundra laughed.

"She's not my girlfriend," he muttered to her as she smiled as he sat her down.

"What's your name?" asked the small girl as Tundra smiled.

"Tundra," she answered as the pink dragoness smiled walking up the stairs.

"Brandon and Tundra sitting in a tree..."

"Ember!" Brandon yelled as she ran up the stairs.

"K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" she laughed the rest of the way as Tundra only laughed causing Brandon to groan.

"Sorry about her," he told her lightly. "She can be quite a handful at times."

"I understand," she answered looking to Brandon with a faint smile. She then made her way to the kitchen with him as he leaned on his back on the counter.

"So why don't you tell me abit about yourself?" asked Brandon with the gustier of his hand. "I mean, if you follow me, you pretty much know me pretty well by now right?"

"Yeah I guess...but there's not a lot to me to be known. Me and my father moved around a lot in the last few years, didn't really have friends; you know, typical stuff."

"What about your mother?" Tundra seemed to flinch at that, and before she could say anything, Jenny came down with Ember by her side as she wore the biggest smile on her face.

"See mommy!" she cried. "Brandon got a girlfriend!"

"Ember!" Brandon snapped causing her to giggle.

"That's enough Ember, now go upstairs; you know you're going to your friends to play."

"Okay mommy, bye Brandon, bye Tundra!" she waved as she ran upstairs leaving Jenny laughing lightly. As she turned to Brandon friend, she held out a claw to shake her hand.

"It's nice to meet you Tundra," she answered. "When Ember said Brandon brought home a girlfriend, I had to come down; you two are just friends right?"

"Yes Miss Phoenix," she ensured the dragoness before her then looked to Brandon. "We just met today, and Brandon was showing me around school, he is very well mannered by the way."

"That he is, we taught him well." She winked at her son who smiled back at her then spoke up.

"Mom, is it alright if I make her and myself some lunch, and then I can take her home?"

"I don't see a problem with that, how about you call ahead to your home Tundra first, just to be on the safe side, the phone is right over there." She pointed with her hand as Tundra thanked her and left. As Brandon started to get the things to make the lunch, his mother came up from behind.

"Are you sure you two are just 'friends'?"

"Mom, relax," he ensured her taking out some hamburgers. (Just so you know, yes they do eat meat, no cows or chickens were made into antro in this story alright? So don't go on saying that in comments please) "We are just friends, nothing more I swear alright?"

"Alright," she answered before looking back at the young women who was talking on the phone. "She is mighty cute though." Brandon looked with her and nodded slightly. He did find Tundra cute, but he was not about to say that on the first day he met the girl. As Tundra made her way back, she informed that she could say and that her father would like to meet Brandon and asked his mother if he could stay for dinner, she allowed him too as Brandon started to cook the meet as Tundra watched; Jenny soon leaving with Ember reminding Brandon to lock up leaving the two alone.

"Where did you learn to cook?" she asked as she saw Brandon put spices on the food before him in a fashion she had never seen.

"My dad goes on trips for his job," he answered. "Find a old cookbook back when everyone was still...human." He shook his head clearing it. "Anyway, I started to study from it, and over the years I know it inside and out. He even found old DVDs of cook shows where I learned from; hell I got some old games made in the human era like Splatter House (kick ass game btw) and Legend of Zelda."

"Aren't those games rare?" she asked as Brandon nodded flipping the meat.

"Mostly I found them in my grandfather basement, you know, his grandfather's father's father was one of the first to change into dragons?"

"Really? That's so cool!" Brandon nodded going to the counter to get the buns.

"Yeah, I remember before he pasted that he gave me those games, which I still have, saying that he use to play them a lot when he was a kid. He allowed the game makers of today to see them to try and remake them to more of our era feeling you know, but they never really took a lot, just the call of Duty ones and World of World Craft." As they sat around the table to eat, Tundra looked up to him as he took a bite of his food.

"Brandon..." she almost whispered. "Remember when you asked about my mother?"

"Yeah," answered the human as he cleaned his cheeks. "You were about to tell me, what's wrong?" he saw her blank look as she looked down, playing with her leaves.

"You can't tell anyone what I'm about to tell you okay?" she told him as Brandon tilted his head. "I...I don't know, it just...I feel like I can trust you for some strange reason."

"Alright," he promised. "I won't breath a word to anyone I swear." The Pokémon looked up to see him smiling as she looked back down.

"My mother...is a drug user...or...was." Brandon didn't say a word; it was so quite in the room that if you dropped a pin, it could be heard. "That's why we moved so much...to find her; we've been here for a few weeks now, trying to find her. When we did she was in bad shape, selling her body for money or drugs, we begged her to come home but she refused and ran off!" Her body started to shake as her head was down, the table was starting to get wet with her tears as Brandon got up at once and hugged her as she hugged him tightly crying loudly. "They...they found her today...on the side of the road...b...beaten and..." she couldn't keep going without sobbing and hiccupping as Brandon did his best to smooth her sorrow. He almost felt like crying himself, but held it in.

"I'm...sorry about asking about her then," he answered as she pulled away and shook her head.

"No," she answered wiping her eyes with the back of her arm. "I'm glad I told someone else beside my father, it's just...we moved to find her so I never had friends to lean on...my dad promised me that we would never move again, that this was truly our home now." She sniffed a bit looking at Brandon as she smiled. "And plus, you're my first friend in so long, and I just don't wanna leave since I met you."

"Hey I'm not all that great," he answered rubbing the back of his head lightly looking away. She smiled and leaned up to kiss him on the cheek as he went stiff as she giggled.

"I think you are, now come on, I wanna see where you do all your work then we can go see my dad!"

For the next few hours Brandon showed Tundra where he did his blogs, the video recorder he used also and today was the day he would have to make one, and he thought it would be a good idea to allow Tundra in it. She agreed and sat beside him as he chatted about the day and how he was feeling, he made it a recording, but anyone watching at the moment, it was live so when they asked question he would answer. Many of the questions were if they were an item, causing him to blush and her to laugh as he would answer with a simple no, but Tundra would answer saying that they never would know till later. After sighing off and changing into different clothes with Tundra looking the other way, wearing a green shirt with blue jeans, the Pokémon led Brandon toward her home, not even thirty minutes away from his home. As Brandon walked behind her, he couldn't help but watch her swaying hips and tail, shaking his head to clear it of the dirty thoughts he was thinking; but even that didn't help. Walking inside the home of her, they were greeted at once by a larger grass Pokémon making Brandon feel a bit intimidated. His skin was a much green then that of his daughter, a crown like head but with the same yellow eyes of his daughter. He had on his back, for he was shirtless what seemed to be yellow buds, and his tail looking like a huge green leaf. On his elbows he had a single leaf, the same texture of his skin.

"So you're Brandon am I right?" he asked in a stern voice as Brandon nodded.

"Yes sir," he answered. "That's me,"

"And you haven't be given my daughter any trouble?" he crossed his arms, making his muscles bug out as Brandon gulped.

"N...No sir, I have not,"

"Daddy trying to scare my friend!" the father Pokémon laughed and slapped Brandon on the shoulder.

"Don't worry kid," he answered as Brandon was near to sweating. "I was just messing with ya; years of police work does that to you!" Brandon let out the breath eh was holding as Tundra sighed.

"Dad just go get a shirt on please?"

"Yes dear," he rolled his eyes. "By the way Brandon, call me Norm,"

"Well..." he stuttered a bit. "Nice to meet you Norm,"

"Like wise, now the food should be coming soon, so just sit around and wait, if it comes before I get back the money on the table Tun,"

"Alright dad!" she called as he left looking at Brandon. "Sorry about that, he likes to scare new people sometime."

"Yeah I guess," he laughed lightly as he went to sit down on the sofa, Tundra was right beside him as she flipped on the TV as she snuggled closer to him causing him to suck in some air. He couldn't understand why she was acting like this now, he liked it, but he still didn't understand.

The food came and the three ate, telling jokes and abit of their past. They were surprised to learn that Brandon use to take fighting classes of CQC and Norm wanted to see some moves. Moving the table out of the way, Brandon showed him how he could easily block any attack that came his way, even if it was a sneak attack. After pinning him to the ground, the phone rang as Brandon got up to let him answer Norm sighed.

"Seem I got to go show this guy how to do some shit at HQ," he answered grabbing his policemen outfit, he was able to land a job he could because of how fast and good his talking skill was. "You may stay for a bit more if you wish; it's only nine anyway,"

"Thank you," he answered him as Norm smiled, kissing his daughter goodbye, and left out into the car on the side.

"You don't seem like the fighting type you know," Tundra told him as he sat back down as he then laughed.

"It was more to keep me into some sort of shape, I may not look it, but I can hold my own."

"I bet not to me you can't," she smirked causing him to laugh.

"I'm sure I can," he answered with his eyes closed.

"Oh?" she asked moving closer. "Really?" he opened his eyes and stopped moving when he found that she was now sitting on his lap, her hands on his shoulder and face nearly to his own.

"Uh..." She smiled and leaned closer to him nuzzling his chin with her head.

"You're cute like that you know?" she told him lightly. "And you know...I had a crush on you ever since I watched you on that site."

"R...Really?" he asked as she nodded laying her head on his chest, taking his hands with her own and brought them to her hips. His breathing started to increase as he also started to slightly sweat causing her to look up slightly.

"Yes really...and just relax...I don't bite," she gave him a grin as she leaned up to kiss his cheek like she did back at his house, and then she started to kiss down his jaw bone and then his neck causing him to close his eyes lightly. He never did have a girlfriend before, and someone doing this to him, it was getting to him. "The only reason I acted like a shy girl before was because I was fighting with myself if I should tell you what I felt for you, or keep it in, but you know, I think you should know how I feel for you."

"But..." he gasped as she kissed his neck again. "We...just met..."

"So," she answered. "My mom and dad met one day and starting dating the very next day, why can't we; aren't I cute?" she gave a fake hurt look as Brandon nodded.

"Very...I mean you...and..." she giggled and pressed her lips to his causing him to groan from the sudden lip contact. Never being kissed beside his mother like this, and not since he was a child, it felt so right, even though the gentleman in him his mother and father raised told him that he would have to get to know her more.

Letting it all go, he relax and allowed his lips to mingle with her own, his eyes also closed as his hands trailed up her sides causing her to shiver slightly from the feeling as her arms rubbed his chest and then went to his hair, tangling her fingers in them. She started to moan and opened her mouth wider as her tongue was seeking a way into his own, which he allowed. They didn't know how long they made out for, but when she pulled away, a single strand of saliva connecting their lips until breaking, she looked down at him with a smile.

"How was that?" she asked leaning on his chest again.

"Wow..." was all he said as she chuckled lightly at him as he looked down to her, his right hand rubbing her back, as her breast was crushed between the two. "So does...um...this mean that you and I are...?" she looked at him with half closed eyes as she smiled.

"You wanna be?" she asked as he thought for a quick second.

"I don't see the harm in it," he answered as she smiled leaning down on him again as he held her close to him, leaning his head down to her.

As he looked up to the clock then, he saw that it was nearly ten o'clock and would have to leave to go home, Tundra also so the time and looked up to him, leaning up to kiss him quickly as she hugged him tightly before moving to get off him as he stood up to walk him to the door.

"Guess I'll see you tomorrow," she smiled to him as he smiled back.

"Guess so huh?" again they kissed, but only a smaller one as they held each other in a hug. Once broken, he turned to walk down the street, turning back many times to see hr still watching him, until he was out of sight. As he made his way down the street, his mind went over a mile a second trying to think of what just happened, he just met the girl, became friends, and now they were boyfriend and girlfriend! And when she said she had a crush on him when she first saw him on the website, it didn't make sense. His father, no doubt being home could maybe shed some light for the black hair teen as he raced home.

Once inside, he noticed that Ember didn't hug tackle him like she always did, meaning she was either busy with something else, or she was in bed sleeping. Walking toward the living room, he gave a content sigh when he only found it was his father sitting on the sofa alone; the dragon looking over smiling lightly as he patted the spot next to him.

"Your mother tells me you went to a girl's house?" he gave a small smirk as Brandon sat down nodded.

"Yeah, her name is Tundra."

"She nice?" he asked as Brandon remembered back when they were making out on the sofa.

"Yeah," he answered as he looked toward his father. "Dad, can I ask you something?"

"You know you can," Rick answered as Brandon sighed.

"It's not much least asking...but can you keep this between you and me for now?"

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing...it's just that girl Tundra...me and her are kinda a item now." Rick only blinked as he tilted his head.

"Didn't you just meet her today?"

"That's what I was saying, I mean. She said her mom and dad met one day and the very next they were dating, and she also said when she saw me she at once had a thing for me!"

"Sounds like she imprinted on you,"

Brandon looked toward his father in confusion as he laughed.

"Imprinting is something that's a little hard to tell, it's like your brain knows that this person is meant for you in every way. Humans don't imprint so you won't know it, but if she truly did imprint on you well, then you're somewhat lucky."

"How so?" his son asked as Rick laughed.

"She won't be cheating on you."
