Shadows's everyday life continued
In the last chapter Shadow became a hero by saving the school but the act nearly cost his life. He revealed his feelings for Phantom. And so this continues.
"Phantom........ I love you." I said
"Shadow please tell me this is a sick joke right?" Phantom said trying to convince himself that this is a sick joke that he, Matt, Kevin, and Heather came up with.
It hurt hearing him say this.
"Phantom this is not some joke! You have no idea what it feels like to be closeted up! I love you Phantom." I found myself sounding desperate.
He looked shocked.
I could feel tears starting to form in my eyes.
I couldn't take this anymore.
I started running were I could cry alone. Once I was sure that I was alone.
I yelled "WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME?!?! WHY!!!"
I started to hit the ground.
*Phantom POV*
When he ran away. I found myself whispering "Shadow I can't love you............I can't"
I decided to wait for him. Bad descision. I waited for 3 hours to see Shadow his hands bleeding, eyes blood shot, his eyes looked sad and distant.
"Shadow are you alright?"
".........."
He didn't reply just started walking home.
I couldn't let him walk home alone so I decided to follow him home.
When we got to his house there was a note on the door. It read 'Shadow there has been some problems right now so we had to leave. We left the key in a secret area. Please be careful till we come back.'
"Looks like you get to be home alone. Now you can have sex with your girlfriend." I said joking.
It didn't work.
He just walked to an area and pulled out the key.
He unlocked the door and invited me to stay the night becuase there was a large storm coming.
"You can stay in my parents room if you want."
"Ummm ok."
He started to make his verson of dinner : Bacon, Pizza, Burgers, and Hot Dogs.
After half an hour it was finished.
"I didn't what you would like so I just made it all." he said forcing a smile.
When we started eating he decided to ask "Black Ops?" holding out a black X-Box 360 controller.
"You know me."
"OK."
We played a couple of rounds of Hardcore S&D before we decided to take showers. Shadow came out with his pajamas pants. He shook his fur.
His body was fairly built. He looked kinda cute and he actually looked happy.
"Umm if you need you can use my clothes."
He said with a slight blush.
"Ok"
I could feel my ears getting hot.
"Wait what am I going to do about underwear?"
"You can use one of mine, go without them, or just go naked. I don't really care what you do."
"You'd like to see make naked wouldn't you?"
He suddenly got red from embaressment.
"I-I ...."
"Hahahaha I was only joking."
"O-ok "
He was stuttering. It was rather funny.
I decided to use what he had and make him embaressed and regret giving me that option.
I could here him talk to himself.
"I'm the blacksheep of the family. I am the only fox of the family. Why did I have to be so different. My father hates gay. Even though I'm Bi he's going to hate me. Phantom...........why did I have to fall in love with you my best friend? WHY!?"
I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. Now that he mentioned it he was the only fox in the family that I have met.
I continued to take my shower.
I finished to see heavy rain pouring outside and Shadow outside in the rain.
"Shadow are you crazy your going to get really sick!"
"I need to perfect this."
What was he talking about?
"Shadow Lightning!"
He shouted that before his right hand was covored in a black lightning like Sasuke's ominous Chidori in Naruto.
"Phantom look out!"
In a split second I saw Shadow in front of me.
"Damn it Phantom when do I have to stop saving you?" Shadow said jokingly.
"When I get badass powers like that." I said pointing toward his right hand covered in the black lighting.
"Looks like I have to take another shower."
"Yeah you smell really bad."
"Nah thats just the scorched ground."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
We went back inside. It almost seemed like it use to be: me and him joking around enjoying life to the fullest we can.
"I'll be right back. Gotta take a shower."
"Ok."
After a ten minuet shower he came out wearing a pair of blue with black stripe pajamas shorts.
"That was refreshing."
"Hey can you play me a song?"
"Ummmm sure what do you want me to play?"
"Bring me to life."
"But a girl sings that song."
"Are cowarding away?"
"Fine............you sing the guy part."
"Deal."
He went to his room that he had many intstaments. He was a showoff at times. He sat on the the piano and started to play the intro.

(All of this time, I couldn't see kept in the dark, but you were there in front of me.) I've been sleeping a thousand years it seems. He stroke the keys holding to the final word ending the song.
"Did I satisfy you?"
"You got to tell me how the hell you can do that."
"You mean this?" He started playing the into to Through the fire and flames.
"Showoff."
"Hahahaha"
We started to laugh.
He started to sing and play Breath by Breaking Benjamin.
I always wondered how he could play all of the instuments.
I just jumped onto his bed and listened to him play.
After he finished "Are you comfortable?"
I had dozed off "Yeah"
"Aoi aoi ano sora. Do you know what that means?"
" Yeah. It means 'Blue blue sky' "
"You know we've been through alot and yet we stuck together."
He was referring to the accident at school many years.
*Several years ago still in Phantom*
I was going to eat at the schools roof when I saw an unlikely friend.
Shadow lied on the floor crying. Bullies were kicking him becuased he refused to help them with their homework and give them his lunch.
I couldn't stay quiet.
"Hey assholes leave him alone!" I yelled.
"And your going to stop us?"
I tackled him.
But since he was bigger he just grabbed me and tossed me aside.
Shadow was getting up.
"Leave him out of this."
"Why should we?'
He kick Shadow's side. They grabbed him by the jacket and dangled him over the edge.
"Hey Chad thats going to far."
"And your going to side with them?"
He dropped Shadow.
"NO!!"
I could here him screamimg for his life.
I lost it.
I tackled him sending both of us over the edge.
Me and Shadow grabbed the edge of a window and we dangled there till medics and firefighters came.
*Back to the present*
"Those were some crazy times huh?" Shadow said
"Yeah they were." I replied.
"Do you want to spar?"
"Sure."
We went to another area were he trains with crazy weapons that he forged himself or found.
"Ready?"
"Yeah."
We got into position an just started our play fight.
I decided to grab two dull swords.
He grabbed his special sword.
A keyblade looking sword but it was more like a real sword.
We continued fighting.
'You had enough Phantom?"
I pinned him on the ground.
"I win."
We got up.
"Damn we are sweaty."
"Yeah."
"Phantom should we just shower together to save water?"
"Ok. You can look but not touch. And if you get aroused I'm leaving."
He got red.
"What m-makes you thing t-that I'm g-going to t-touch."
"You said that you loved me and I don't want you trying to touch my junk."
He got redder.
"I-I ......I wouldn't do that if you didn't want me to."
"Hahahaha lets go.''
We undressed and got into his huge shower.
"Is it too hot Phantom?"
"No that's fine." We just stood there relaxing in the shower.
"Shadow when did you start liking me?"
He was getting red.
"Well I started to realize that I liked you when you .............well I don't really know when I started liking you."
"Shadow have you ever thought about your relationship with Heather if she ever finds out about your feelings for me?"
"Phantom you know she's not the jelous type. Plus I already told her and she's ok with it."
"Damn. She's a keeper."
"Yeah."
We started to just take a shower.
"You know Shadow it's stupid but for some reason I'm getting aroused so I'm leaving to your room to dry."
"Hahahaha and you said that I was going to be the who would get aroused."
"Shut up."
I got out of the shower and started drying myself.
"DAMN IT Phantom!! Your aroused scent is getting me aroused!"
"Hahahaha" I couldn't help but laugh.
"It's not funny!"
"Yes it is."
"No it isn't"
We were arguing like children it was hilarious.
I started to laugh.
"What's sio funny?" He sounded confused.
"That we are arguing like children and your 16 so it doesn't help on your side."
"Hey your 15 so it doesn't help on your side either."
"You have more responsibilities than me."
"Shut up."
"You know it's true."
"Yeah"
We started to laugh.
Shadow slipped and his head hit wall and he hit the floor with a sickening thud.
"Shadow......Shadow............don't make me come in there."
Silence.....
I ran in to see Shadow lying down in the shower unconscious.
"Hey buddy wake up."
He just layed still in my arms.
"Shadow don't leave me!"
Just a moment ago we were laughing and now he was probably dead and I could never told him that I loved him too.
"Shadow don't leave me! I love you too Shadow. Please don't leave me!'
