This Is Me

The sun shined brightly on a normal afternoon day for this particular neighbourhood, the sky partly filled with clouds as they slowly flow across the blue atmosphere. Nothing was making a sound throughout the neighbourhood since everyone is probably inside doing their own thing, or went out somewhere.

As the warm afternoon goes on normally on this quiet neighbourhood, there's a certain park you can see at the end of a street. The entrance of the park has a path, leading to many of the play structures within the playground; having swing sets at the end of the park, monkey bars at the left, and tider-toders at the right. At the center of the park held one large slide; nothing special about it as the slide goes straight down when you slide down on it, but it's rather tall. No one knew why the slide was placed at the center of the park, but it's probably how the park was designed.

The park seems deserted as there weren't a noise making within the playground, but that didn't mean there won't be anyone there just because no one is playing on the play structures.

A blue anthro fox was sitting at the end of the large slide, looking in his late teens as he was wearing long black shorts and a plane white V-neck shirt. He was minding his own business until he looked around and sees you.

"Oh, hello." He said with a smile. "I wasn't expecting anyone to come, but I'm glad that you're here and interested."

The blue fox gets up with a light grunt before dusting himself off, "Well you probably know why you're here, right? Well of course you do, now c'mon." He said cheerfully while then starting to walk towards the exit of the park.

Once he was out of the park he was having his paws in his pockets while walking, "Well you probably want to know my name, so the names TripleX, but you can call me TX for short." He continues walking on the street connected to the park as he let out a chuckle, "Heh, you're probably wondering why I'm named that. Well I'll explain that later when we get inside." He said while stopping in front of a white house, having a garage attached to its right. A large window was at the front of the house, reflecting the sky above.

TX walked to the door steps of the house as he took out his keys and unlocked the door. He went inside as his smooth blue tail sways behind him.

"Well here we are, home sweet home." He said while closing the door behind him. In front of him were two entrances. To his left was a set of stairs that would lead to the basement and to the right was another set of stairs that goes up to the main floor. TX walked up to the stairs to his right, heading to the main floor of the house.

Once he did, if he kept on heading straight, then he would be in the kitchen. To his right was the living room and his left was a hallway. The blue fox went to his left as there were two paths, both from left to right having doors down the hall.

He went to his left and heads into the last door, "Hehe, sorry. As much as how organized David is, he can sometimes be a little messy as well." The blue fox giggled while entering the room. The room wasn't special or anything as the walls all around were painted beige, having a couple of posters on. The carpet floor was mostly clean as there were some cloths and school supplies around here and there. Against the far wall was a single bed with the sheets and blanket nicely folded.

At the far right corner TX walks towards a desk, containing a laptop and some medical supplies; having an inhaler, and a couple of small plastic containers filled with medical cream for the skin.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that David is also allergic to peanuts, fish, fur, and dust... just so you know." He said while looking through the desk.

Some random papers were scattered across the desk as the blue fox looks over for a certain book. He sees some yearbooks lying against the wall, supported by the desk. He looks through them until he took out an emerald green book.

"Ah-ha, here we go." TX said happily while then beginning to walk out the green book in his paw. "Oh by the way, everyone is out including David so that's why the house is empty here, but David will be home soon." He said while walking out of the room, heading out towards the living room.

He sat down on a couch while having the book on his lap, "Okay so to start things off, I'm pretty much like David. You can either say I am David or that he created me." TX said while giving a light chuckle. "Maybe I'm more of his animal side, but neither of us knows." He said and chuckles more. "Oh any it's a funny story... Way back when David was first playing an MMORPG game called 'Runescape' with his cousin, he had trouble thinking up a user name... So his cousin helped him and told him to use TripleX as his user. David actually liked it... So from there, he's been using that name ever since, hehe... But all kidding aside, I am like David so when I start reading and whenever I say "I" I'm referring to David as well."

The blue fox stretches on the couch while then looking out through the large window, seeing the view of outside before letting out a soft sigh, "Let's begin..." He said while picking up the green book from his lap, the front of the book titled 'This Is Me' as he opened it and started reading...

During my life I was another normal kid just like everyone else. Been going to school and not cause any trouble as I do my school work every day. During after school hours I would be doing my homework or heading to a friend's house and game. I really don't do much with my family unless it was on a special occasion. It's not that I don't like spending time with my family, I just don't.

You'd probably think that this kid has a normal life so far, but as the years go on as he gets older... things change and things don't change.

For me as an example... I'm always the same kid who's always in the crowd watching others. You can refer that I'm quiet or shy... but I'm pretty much both and that I sometimes don't know what to say... I'm like that whenever me and my friends were talking in a group... I feel left out because of it, or that I don't really belong in the group... I just watch and go along with everything they're talking about... But when I do talk I tend to crack a joke here and there and that I'm always polite to others no matter what mood I'm in, so I'm considered a 'nice guy' to everyone.

Everything seems to going well and normal as this was happening in during the first year of high school... But... as the years go by... thing begin to change... Some friends heading to different high schools, friends not being in the same class as you, and beginning to feel more independent about yourself...

Fortunately some of my friends remained in the same school with me, but it wasn't exactly the same anymore since my closest friend moved to a different school... I always turn to him and ask questions whenever I need help on anything... He was like a brother to me... So with him gone, I started to isolate myself from my other friends during school as I just focused on my school work... At home, same thing... and that I don't go to my friends as often as I just go whenever I want to get out of the house... I usually stay home and watch T.V, or play video games whenever I don't have homework or that I finished it.

As this was beginning to be a routine in my life... I started to think to myself that my life is boring and that I feel like I have no purpose... That my life would be going nowhere if this keeps up... I knew it sounded silly because I'm still young, but that's what I felt... Not only that I've been feeling that, I also felt... empty inside in my own little world as I watch everyone else go on with their lives... That's what I've been feeling before the next few months changed my life...

Before we get to that I was writing fan fictions ever since the beginning of my freshmen year... While I was at home on the computer, I was reading on a site called 'FanFiction'; I was mostly reading Pokemon fan fictions at the time... One day I then came across to this particular Pokemon story. It was a simple one-shot story and it had Lucario, my favourite Pokemon. And it had romance in it, my favourite categories to read. It also contained yaoi as well, but I've read quite a few of those, so I didn't mind at the time as I was bisexual.

While I was reading it, I started to get into the story. It had just the right amount of details for me and it was easy to read. Everything from grammar and punctuation seemed perfect to me. During to the point where I was reading the lemon part, I admit to myself that I got... turned on by it. But that is because of how good the story was to me so you can't really blame me for that.

After I read it, I then thought to myself, "I want to write just as good as he does." And that's when I got my inspiration from. There were many stories that inspired me, but this specific one-shot story I've read gave me an instant spark that triggered me to want me to write.

I thought to myself that I could just spend some time writing as I got nothing better to do during my time and that part of wanting to write was for fun.

When it came to the ideas for me writing a fanfic, I didn't really need to worry about that. I was reading so many fanfics that ideas were popping in my head throughout the time. But I didn't think it would be good enough to be published in 'FanFiction' since I've never uploaded them before. Although, that didn't stop me.

So when I did started publishing then I slowly begin to blow up as people slowly got to notice my story as the views increases. I was very surprised by this as this got me motivated to write more. Since that I've been doing so well on publishing my story on FanFiction, I then decided to publish them on other fan fiction sites... Once I did, I was doing well on the other sites as well.

One day as I was going through someone's profile on 'FanFiction'... I saw this link to this website called 'SoFurry'. I found it interesting as I decided to go look through it... I have to admit that it was amazing once I did; it had art, stories, music, chat, everything... I liked this site so much that I decided to publish my story there as well since it was a furry website.

Now this is where a lot of things changed for me... While I was publishing my story, I was a success there also and that during my first time on SoFurry, someone messaged me called 'G-man' said that he really loved my story and that he would like to meet me on chat... I was interested by this since I don't get to talk to a lot of people online, so I thought this would be pretty awesome as I could make a couple friends here.

There were some failed attempts for us to see each other, but once we met, we instantly became good and close friends as well as I got to meet some of his friends. During our time on chat we often like to RP whenever we're on together. Pretty much all the time we have wonderful times together that it's indescribable to express in words; that's how close we are. I would do anything for him if it means I can make him happy and to be with him... I soon realized then that I was in love with him...

He was my first love and that he was the nicest out of all when I got into chat, not that the others weren't, but he stood out to me the most... Even though I loved him, he already has a mate... So I was a little disappointed... but I know we had this strong connection between us, so I didn't want to lose that just because of my love for him... So I tried containing it.

But later on I couldn't contain my feelings for him anymore as I confessed to him. I was thinking of the worst as I thought this would ruin our friendship... but... it didn't came as... he loved me back. I felt like the happiest person alive when he told me that... words couldn't describe how happy I was then... Even with our long distance, love is love not matter what type it is as I still love him for who he is.

He means so much to me because he actually accepted me for who I am... Before I met him, I was just considered this 'nice guy' and that I've always been... feeling alone... Everything around me I just watch as I'm in my own little world... feeling empty inside... Then I met him... He was the one who wanted to see me first in the group... That was the best thing that happened in my life.

Feeling of being loved by someone and accepts you for who you are... That's when I realize that this is what I was missing in my life...

Every day when I wake up I'm in a better mood... because I know that I have someone that loves me... It makes me feel that I have a purpose in life before thinking that I had none... But... all that changed was because of 'G-man' who is named Gabe.

Even through the toughest times we get through it together... we help each other out... I would do anything for him to make him happy and make things easier for him... I want to be there for him all the time, so that he knows that he's not alone... I love him so much; I can't imagine what I would do without him.

So not only that I don't feel empty inside anymore I felt more happy and optimistic about life and realizing that there is so much more adventures in the future as time goes by.

TX was about the continue reading when his ear twitch and heard the front door opening, "Oh! That must be David." He said excitedly while waiting for David to come upstairs.

Once he did, he was wearing the exact cloths as TX, only difference is that he's human. He has jet black hair, brown eyes, and over his eyes he wore glasses.

"Hm? TX what are you doing with my book?" He said while setting his backpack against the couch before sitting next to the blue fox.

"Hehe sorry, I was just telling them about us." TX said happily

"Them?" The teenager asked while tilting his head as TX then leans in and whispers while pointing at you. "Oh, them! Okay I didn't think anyone would show up."

"Yeah me too!"

"Hehe, well anyways I see that you've started already." David said with a grin.

"Yup! You can keep going since this is you we're mainly talking about." The blue fox said while placing the opened book onto his lap before getting up and heads into the kitchen.

"Alright." David said with a nod as he watches the fox as he then looks through the book, "Hmm... ah, yes." He flipped through some pages before he continues his story...

So while I had the time of my life on SoFurry with the love of my life, I did made friends during my time there. Everyone that I know and care about on that site... I consider them as my family.

Whenever a friend is down I always try to help them out to whatever problems they're dealing with because I hate to those that I care are hurting; lending them a shoulder as I try to comfort and support them as much as I can, just like any friend would do. I may not be able to help at times, but just letting them know that they're not alone and that they always have someone to talk to whenever they need help is something beyond a regular friend would do. I do everything I can for everyone I care about because I feel like... they're the only ones I got other than my outside life where I don't have many friends and don't do much with my family.

I don't want to lose them, nor that I never want to lose them... especially to the one I love.

Everything that's been happening was all an amazing experience, even the bad ones. The special moments I had felt like it was an amazing dream that I don't want to get out of.

I may not fully know who I am yet since I'm still young and learning... but I do know that I'm someone who loves his mate dearly as he means everything to him... and also someone who wants to help to those he cares about as he'll do everything he can for them.

The book then closes as he placed it to the side while seeing the blue fox coming back, and then sitting next the human teen.

"So there you go everyone, I hope you enjoyed learning something about me." He said with a warm smile.

"And me!"

"TX... we're the same person."

"... Oh yeah, hehe."

"Anyways, I'd like to thank to the ones who created this challenge... It made me had to look deep inside myself, and that it has made me realize that there is so much more to value in life... Even with our ups and downs we will all have throughout our lives, it'll be something we can all learn from... positive or negative.

TX smiled at David as they both looked at each other, then looking at you as they say in union, "This is me..."
