Without further ado let's begin.

Year; 2285, June 17, Time: 3:59 p.m.

"One minute till drop off!" shouted the pilot to the group of men in the back waiting to be let out.

The group of men and women who sat waiting for the back hatch of the gunship to open to begin their recapture of Vargo were felling anxious to have the mission actually begin. Among the total group of 15 was Aaron's team; Dave (Explosive expert/ Bomb planter and disabler), Mark (Mechanic Specialist/ Repair-man), Nathan (Navigator/Path-finder), recently joined Susan (Hacker/Programmer), and Aaron himself (Stealth Specialist and Expert/ Master in Close-Combat). They all sat the closest to the V-16's drop hatch located in the back of the cargo holding area of the ship. They sat there for every mission, why? Well Aaron's Team specialty was their ability to infiltrate any obstacle or enemy they come across. You could say they where a scouting or spying team but there was much more than that. Instead of simply going and coming back with information on the enemy or layout, they instead went in and sabotaged things. Like hacking their control network, or blowing up their heavy artillery before its used, or even finding/extracting key objectives (Data, Important leaders of a group, Etc.). But mainly, their job was to sneak in and create hell from behind (or in some case's middle of) the enemy. So in order to do just that; they needed to operate completely separate from the main force, whatever the other 9 teams did was of little concern to them. While the other teams were going to be following orders from the Commander; Aaron's Team would instead follow their own objective list (Aaron being in charge of and calling the shots of course).

"10 seconds!" (Pilot).

"Alright... let's do this" Aaron said over the mike to his Team who all in turn nodded their head.

The sound of the ships thrusters' blaring indicated the ship slowing down fitting gravity for a smooth landing. A clanking sound was soon heard next before a outside light flooded the now open hatch door. Immediately Aaron's team sprinted out onto a street near their set up base. Quickly Nathan pointed to a path 50 meters away indicating their chosen path to take before leaving the SS Carolina. Without any further words they went and followed the path, leading them to an access panel to the Maintenance tunnels that ran throughout the city. Mark was the first to reach the panel.

Tugging on the hatch proved futile, pulling out a hand held Plasma-cutter Mark began to cut at the hinges that connected the panel to the rest of the small building. While Mark was working on that Aaron spoke up breaking up silence.

"Alright..... I've decided to come clean with you all on what I believe happened here" said Aaron.

"What you mean?" (Dave).

"Command isn't being honest with us on what happened here... I may still be wrong but once were in, look for burned/melted patches on the walls, floors, ceiling, and vents" (Aaron).

"Why those?" (Susan).

"Because those could be possible signs that a Xenomorph infestation took place here" (Aaron).

Mark stopped just short of finishing up with the hinges, turning around to face Aaron. "Your shitting with us right? If you are it's not funny... those things aren't to be taken lightly" replied Mark.

"I know... I've had past encounters with them , I feel like I should at least warn all of you before we go any further" (Aaron).

".... Why didn't you tell the Commander about this?" (Dave).

"Chances are he knows... but I bet he was told to keep his mouth shut about it by Command" Aaron sighed, "If they are here then it is essential that you follow my lead, no matter what".

Sighing Mark turned around and finished his work with the hatch, kicking it in before saying "Well... what we waiting for? Let's go find your 'friends' Aaron".

"Friends my ass" Aaron grumbled along with a few curse words and phrases before taking the lead of the group into the Maintenance tunnel. The Tunnel itself was nothing special, wires and tubes lined the walls and ceiling with an access ladder or hatch here and there that lead to other parts of the city.

"What a surprise... the lights are out" grumbled Nathan.

"Turn on your Pulse-Sensors (Pulse-Sensors are a cross between a Heartbeat and Motion Sensor with a range of roughly 100 meters), if they are down here we won't see them on Infrared" Aaron said.

Without a word everyone complied switching on the sensors on their guns as instructed. None of them had any reading on anything around them. The entire Team moved down the path being careful not to make a sound while Nathan gave directions to their destination.

Rest of the E.B.R. Team, Location: At Base, Time: 7:00 p.m.

The rest of E.B.R. Teams had successfully set up and secured their Base in the building indicated on their map. Two Teams were already dispatched to the Medical Labs and another two were sent to the main complex's control room to download any/all files on the past 4 months, also to check Vargos power grid. One other Team was in charge of doing sweeps around the base while another kept their equipment up and going in the Intel room as well as watch the Radar-Screen they set up. The last 3 Teams were waiting for further orders from the Commander who was in the Intel room overlooking everyone's progress.

"Statues report" said the Commander.

"Team Alpha and Bravo are in the Main Control room and have started downloading the files. Teams Charlie and Delta are still working on gaining access to the Medical Labs" said one of the Intel officers.

"What of Team Echo?" asked the Commander.

"They are just out of the Radar's range sir we can't get an accurate reading of their position, however they are around here". Five green dots appeared on the screen way over on the East side of Vargo just outside its steel walls. "They haven't moved for 20 minutes now... should I try contacting them?".

"Yes, ask for a status report and tell them to head up to the North Gate of the complex".

"But sir, we don't authority over ther-".

"Doesn't matter tell them to do it" the Commander interrupted.

"... Yes sir, and if they refuse?".

"They won't".

If everything goes smoothly... we should find out where these ugly fuckers are... sorry Aaron, thought the Commander.

Location: Outside of Vargo's West Gate, Time: 7:05 p.m.

"Gahh! Bright light!" (Nathan).

"What bright light? It's almost night time out" (Susan).

"After being lead by our 'Fearless Leader' through miles of poorly lit tunnels it's bright out here!" (Nathan).

"Actually Nathan you where the one 'Leading' us through the tunnels, you are the Navigator here after all" (Aaron).

"... You could have stopped me" (Nathan).

"Are you doubting yourself now?" Aaron asked leaning towards Nathan.

"About what?".

"You tell me".

"Hey love birds, I'm getting a signal from the Commander; he wants a status update and wants to know what we are doing" (Mark).

"Oh oh, tell em where requesting back-up and that we've lost Aaron" Dave said excitedly.

"Why am 'I' the one missing?" Aaron asked.

"Because the Commander won't care as much about any of us, since you're the leader he will at least listen".

"And the back-up?".

"It'll add some excitement for whoever they send".

*Sigh* "I question your sanity sometimes Dave... Mark, tell him that West side is clear and that the tunnels are for the most part intact" Aaron said giving Dave a look of 'You better behave'.

"Right... says that he's getting some motion up North and says for us to go check it out" (Mark).

"He doesn't have any Command over us does he? Why's he giving us orders?" (Nathan).

"Says since where the closes group we get the 'honor' of checking it out" replied Mark.

*Sigh* "Alright tell we head over that and check it out... wish it wasn't so late" (Aaron).

Mark finished speaking with the Commander while everyone else gathered their gear preparing to head out. Once Mark was finished they backtracked their way to the Maintenance tunnel they came from.

"What the fuck? The hatch won't open" Mark said when they arrived.

"How's that? Didn't you unlock it when we came out?" asked Susan.

"Yeah but it's locked now, what's worse I think the emergency lock is activated now..." answered Mark.

"And that's bad why? Can't you just cut through it?" (Susan).

"No... I need something stronger than this (indicating his Plasma-Cutter) besides, if it indeed was engaged then that means something is wrong in the tunnels" finished Mark.

"Hmm... Alright, we will stay out of the Maintenance tunnels for now and use the Monorail tunnels instead" concluded Aaron.

Without any further words the Team headed North looking for the nearest Monorail entrance to take them further North. However another group was making its way East towards the E.B.R. Base using the Maintenance tunnels that Aaron's Team just used.

Location: Maintenance tunnels, Unknown group.

Rocxis (I'm bad with Names *-*) silently crawled his way across the ceiling, behind him another 20 others followed his lead keeping quit in the tunnel. To anyone else who would happen to be in the tunnel they wouldn't be able to make out any of them to the naked eye let alone hear them. Their dark skin blending in perfectly with the dark interior of the tunnel; yet this didn't slow down the group at all since they all had keen eye sight in both light and dark places. They continued on until reaching a 'certain' access panel that happened to be under a 'certain' building.

Rocxis stopped to pause for a sec, the rest of his followers doing the same, while he listened and inhaled the air in front of him. The Queen was right; more Humans have showed up just as she said they would. Excellent, we can continue to increase our numbers and will have more food. As well as a possibility to find a candidate for the Egg perhaps... it would be a shame if a worthy-host is not found soon. Turning to his fellow brothers and sisters, Rocxis gave the signal to begin their operation as instructed by the Queen. This was not a full out assault on the Humans, just a test to see their strengths and weakness along with how well they perform under 'unexpected events'. Rocxis task was simple; sneak in and cause havoc among the Humans without him or his group being seen or caught. And what better way to do that then to drag a few of them back to the hive , after all I'm sure the Queen would like a 'live' specimen of what where dealing with.

A smile stretched across the Xeno's face, "This is going to be fun" he murmured.

A bit shorter than Ch1 but hey I got to put some suspense in the story. Rate, Comment, and Critize.
