The Canine Underworld Part of The Dream That Turned Real story series

Earlier...

Finding nothing else, i went back by the sofa, curling up on the rug in front of it, being made of the same materials, and promptly went to actual sleep this time. No teleporting tricks this time.

I snored happily as i slept, dreaming of my ex-lover, sprouting a boner as i thought of him.

"I will always love you, no matter what comes between us. I promise you."

---==== ===>--- ---====

I awoke from a sort of prophetic dream, where Ryan was falling and i caught him... on my back, as i was flying.

I felt a giant hand softly petting me, running down my spine, and back up. I lightly growled as a werewolf's version of purring.

"You like that, don't you?"

I opened an eye to see Gornak, hunched over me, smiling as he watched.`

"Aw, morning, Gorn, if there were one down here."

Gorn chuckled. "Sleep well?"

"Yeah, but i had this weird dream." i said as i got up and stretched. "I was flying around, and my ex was in this realm, and he fell on my back. Any idea what that means, Gorn?"

"That would indicate that your lover has perished in the mortal realm, and got sent here. At least, what i'm assuming."

Ryan died up there? And came down here?

'Ryan, you are in for a million levels of pain, mister... By my hand, or the demons', if they find you first.'

"That sucks, yet at the same time, it's a good thing, 'cause i'll be with him again. If i can find him."

Just then my internal radar picked up something from fifty miles away. I stiffened up, and stood facing where the signal was coming from.

"Something wrong? What is it?" Gorn asked.

"I'm sensing something about fifty miles out. I'm gonna check it out. F'its a demon, i'ma wipe it out and bring it back for breakfast."

I posed as if starting to run, then teleported out of the house, into the air, wings out, and soared toward the entity. My wingspan, combined with my body weight, allowed me to coast on the air like a balsa-wood glider, as i got closer to the blip on the radar in my mind. I was looking down at the ground, and was flying at an altitude of at least eleven thousand feet.

I was next to the entity, yet i saw nothing on the ground, until i heard someone screaming as if he were falling, getting closer, before i felt a giant weight land on my back. My wings shot straight up and i lost altitude as my wings spasmed out. I rapidly shifted into my Feral state, and flapped as hard as i could, finally stabilizing us. I felt the thing on my back grab my shoulders and pull itself up.

"Man, what crazy thing am i riding on now?"

I finally knew who it was.

"Do you really wish to know?" i asked, masking my voice to sound demonic.

"Er, not really. But you must be a friendly if you saved me from hitting the ground down there."

"You are wise to think that."

"Thanks."

"Do you know of a dingo by the name of Daniel?" i asked.

"Daniel.. Da- Wait, how do you know that?"

"He told me of a place he used to run in the mortal realm, the Ye Olde Yiffe Inne. Does that name sound familiar to you?"

"Y-yes, but how do you know him?"

"There is a Minotaur by the name of Gornak who used to be where you're from, the mortal realm. He now lives here, in a house twenty miles from us. Daniel lives with him now. I can take you there if you wish."

"If he is here, i might as well see him. Can you take me?"

"Sure can."

I took him until we could see the house, and dropped him off. He thanked me for the ride, and started walking toward Gornak's place. I flew off, in the opposite direction until he couldn't see me, and teleported inside the house. Quickly shedding my Feral form and losing the wings, i casually strode over to the couch, kicking back until he came over.

"Did you find him?" Gornak said, spotting me.

"I found someone. Dropped him off near here."

"Are you guys done making out yet? Gorn, you were supposed to be spotting me on the bench." Dan said, walking toward us.

'Perfect. Everything according to plan...' i thought to myself.

"What plan?" Dan asked, picking my thoughts up.

"Er..."

*Knock knock*

We looked toward the door as Gornak went over to open it. On the other side of the door was a six foot eleven charcoal furred werewolf, who looked nervous as the minotaur looked down at him.

"Looks like we have a visitor." Gornak grinned with an evil look to his stare.

"Then quit blockin' the door and let him in!" i said as i walked over, easily pushing the giant minotaur off-balance making him fall on his ass, looking at the other werewolf on the other side of the door.

"Mikey?" he said, lowering his ears and tail in submission.

"R-Ryan?" i replied.

We stared at each other for a few minutes before pulling each other into a tight hug, embracing each other as the tears flowed between us.

"Oh, my God, Mikey, i thought i'd lost you forever! I'm so sorry, Mike, i'll never be able to make it up to you."

"It wasn't you, Ryan. It wasn't you. I started it in the first place."

"Excuse me, but could i talk to mister DuBon, please?" Dan asked.

We broke the hug so Ryan could hug on the dingo.

"How the fuck did you end up here, you lunk?" Dan asked, giving the werewolf a noogie, ruffling the fur on his head.

"I was gonna ask you the same thing, you 'Bludger'."

Gornak shut the door. At the same time, a lone Demon tried to run into the house, but slammed against the door instead, a loud thump heard from inside.

Ryan jumped, still not used to being in this realm. "What was that?" he asked. Gornak opened the door to show what did happen: a Demon smacked against the door so hard it splattered against it.

"That's what happens if you say..." i said, whispering 'God or Lycaon' in Ryan's ear.

"That sucks. What about Devil or Satan, or, what the Hell is that thing on the door?"

"You're the first one to test those out, so i'd say you just spawned a couple waves of those things. That one happened because of your, uh, earlier statement."

"Can you eat'em?"

"They are edible, but you can not eat too many of them, otherwise you will turn as evil as they are, and will either be banned to the other side of the wall, or be killed where you stand and feasted upon, using your bones for toothpicks." Gornak explained.

"Okay, then. You know anything about a griffon flying around here? He caught me as i was falling, and dropped me off a ways from here."

"Griffon? No, but Mike can fly now, if that's what you meant." Dan said, blowing my cover.

"For real?"

I flashed into my feral form again, and showed off my wings.

"No, it couldn't have been you, the one i was with had a different voice when he was talking."

"Like this?" i asked, masking my voice like last time.

"I-it was you?"

"Sopresa."

Ryan laughed and hugged me again, patting me on the back as i returned the hug.

"You've learned a few tricks."

"So has Dan. He's the Whip-Master now." i said, changing back. Ryan looked at the dingo, who did a kickass pose as he cracked the whip, blue sparks flying off and fading out.

"Cross me, you get whipped." Dan said, doing a different pose, leaning back with his arms folded. "Just call me 'Master'."

"Wow, i guess you're a force not to be messed with now."

Dan flipped him off as his way of thanking him.

"You're welcome, Dan."

Ryan then turned to the minotaur. "So, what do you guys do for fun around here?"

"Fight and fuck, pick one and go with it." Dan replied in a fake scottish accent.

"That's it? There's gotta be more than that."

"I was thinking the same thing when i got here." i said.

"Ditto with a capital 'O'." Dan said.

"You guys must sleep a lot, if those are the only things to do around here." Ryan said.

"Most of us do, otherwise, the third option is explore until you grow weak, and cannot make it back, and let the Demons eat you instead of it being the other way around." Gorn said. Ryan got annoyed real fast of the way he was talking.

"So far i've been here for probably a half-hour, at least, and all i'm hearing from you is goth-talk, all that darkness shit."

"It would be wise not to anger me, or the consequences are very, VERY dire." Gornak growled.

"You guys, STOP! Right now, my rage-gauge is pegging toward the redline, and i just might end both of you if this continues." i sternly said as i stood between them, wings outstretched, an eyebrow twitching.

"I apologize for my vocabulary, but i've been here-"

"Longer than us, so you talk like that out of habit." i finished for him as we all sat down.

"I suppose i'm sorry as well, we werewolves can be a handful sometimes, especially when we don't get any action down south."

Gornak supressed a light laugh. "As long as i've lived here, you can only imagine how lonesome i've been. Mike and Dan kind of relieved at least a small part of it."

"You got eff..." Ryan drifted off.

"Minotaurs his size are intimidating, their musk is somewhat hypnotic. We were only licking it, but he told us to stop, so we did, no questions asked." i said with a raised hand.

"He speaks the truth. His tongue's better than Dan's."

"Hey!" the dingo protested before Gorn continued.

"You're lucky you have him as a mate. He gives a good, er, tongue-job."

"So, that would mean, if you came, it would be enough to fill a giant pond?"

"Way more than that, my curious wolf."

"Basically he has the Pacific Sea in his balls, so we would wanna stand behind him." i said. "And not suck him off, and not let him fuck any of our asses."

"Well put, Mike." Gorn said, looking at me, arms crossed.

"With our crappy luck, when he blows, it'll be like 'Blorp! Blorp! Blorp!' every second an' a half." Dan joked. "Every time, he'll spurt at least fourty gallons with the force of, i don't know, a bucket of water splashin' ya right in the face."

"That may as well be true, i have taught myself a great deal of control in that area, i can try it."

"Well, you're not wasting your sperm here."

"Of course i'm not. I taught myself to only ejaculate my pre-seed as well."

"Are you shitting me?" Dan asked.

"No, i can show you. But i will need a bit of assistance."

"Can't you do that by yourself?" Ryan asked with a creeped-out look in his gaze.

"Yes, but it would be embarassing... to not let you in on the fun."

"That's a lie." Ryan replied.

"Really?" Gornak asked, a sly grin on his face as he spread his giant legs to show off his junk, his musk wafting into Ryan's nostrils.

One whiff and they're yours...

"Fine. Mike, hon, you don't mind me doing this, do you?"

"It's an open relationship, Ryan, go ahead." i said.

Ryan looked at the bull-man's sheath before taking a hold of it, slowly rubbing it up and down until the minotaur's erection appeared.

"Aw, man, you know how to do it..." Gorn moaned, his tongue hanging out, as Ryan jacked him off with a disgusted look on his face.

Dan and i both watched, our own boners wanting our attention, but went ignored.

"Ohh, i'm getting close... Don't stoooop-"

Gornak mooed as he came pre by the gallon, splattering all over the four of us, as Ryan directed it away from him and toward us.

He finally stopped at around seven or nine giant spurts, covering himself, Ryan, Dan and i in his precum. We all licked it off, helping each other clean up as Gorn recovered from his ordeal.

"You have the magic touch, Ryan, Mike is super lucky to have you for a mate."

Ryan looked at me, squinting an eye, before i licked the pre off of him, as he did the same.

"Next thing you know, we're all his slaves. Not that we don't mind, do we guys?" Dan said.

Ryan and i glared at him. "Maybe you, but not us, Dan." Ryan said.

"Fortunately, as a minotaur, i have the power to choose who i enslave with my musk." Gorn told us.

"Okay... that's good to know." Ryan replied. "Speaking of powers, Mike, how'd you get yours?"

"Not sure, exactly. Right now i got Exile's heat vision, i got the wings through necessity to get away from those things that were chasing me.."

*knock knock knock knock*

"Halt, who goes there?" Gorn asked as he went to the door.

*Growling, raspy breathing*

"Sorry, i know no-one by that name."

*Banging on door, demonic screeching*

"Fuck off, scary Demon dude, or face the wrath of thy whip!!" Dan shouted at the door that Gorn was bracing himself against.

*More growls and screeches, banging on door intensifies*

"Grrrrr_RRRR_-_ OOWWW!!" _ Gornak roared as the door grew hot, forcing him to back away. The door was then blown apart by a giant fireball, making us all jump.

"WAHHH, WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!" Ryan shouted, jumping into my arms in fear.

"Aw, you are so cute when you're scared, Ryan." i said, trying my hand at spur-of-the-moment sarcasm.

"Sorry, Mike, not the time for being romantic." Ryan responded in fear-spawned anger.

"Should i drop you, then?" i retorted.

"N-no."

"Good boy."

"'Ey, Mike, could use your help, mate!" Dan said before cracking his whip. "RRAAAHHH! Get outta heah, ya bloighters!" he shouted.

"On it." i said as i put Ryan on the couch, donning my claws and joining the other two, hacking and slashing at the wave of Demons.

"It's like we weren't meant to be. Like, trouble follows us no matter where we go. I guess that's being a werewolf for ya." Ryan said to himself.

"Look out!" Dan said as a fireball whizzed past me. I dodged and sliced the Demon who hurled it. A few seconds before the next wave came, i looked at Ryan, who was trying to hide under the upturned couch.

'Damn it, my boyfriend's a pussy!' i thought.

"You two hold the fort. I gotta go talk to Ryan."

"Can do, mate."

I walked over and flipped the couch over to find Ryan, flipped out of his right mind scared. He looked up at me. I smiled a bit.

"Ryan, why are you like this all of a sudden? This is just not you. The Ryan DuBon i remember wasn't this submissive, or scared for that matter."

"I-I just can't help it, Mike. Ever since i killed you on Earth, i haven't been the same since. I couldn't deal with the thought of losing you, so i tried to, y'know, do away with myself, but i got talked out of it." Ryan explained.

"You tried to off yourself?" i asked.

"The dragon talked me out of it, saying, and i quote, 'If not for everyone here, then for Mike. Were he alive right now, he would never let you take your own life."

"Wow." i said, wide-eyed. "I would not have known. Kind of ironic, though, that you got offed even though you got talked out of doing it yourself."

"That was Kraig's fault. Fuckin' whistle of his. I hope it broke."

"Say sumthin' about my hubbie, Ry?" Dan asked.

"Yeah, he killed me and sent me to this dimension. What about you?"

Dan came over and sat down with Ryan. "Well, long story short, i got roughed up by the camel over a little prank, so i tossed him around a few times, then Kraig made the husky encase me in this huge block'a ice. Looks like they waited too long to thaw me out."

"So i guess that means we got something in common, then: The fox fucked us over."

"Give'em an inch, they take a hundred miles. You're right. Kraig's a switch. He'll look all innocent at first, then he strikes. Quicker than a cobra, that one." Dan ranted.

"Oh, Mike?"

"Hmm?"

"This might sound kinda paradoxical, but you're in my nuts right now."

I was confused. "Wait. What?"

"I knew you wouldn't get it. After you died, Lycaon had this 'great idea' to put your body in my seed for safekeeping. Now, thanks to that very idea, i can't touch myself down there."

"That really is confusing."

"Tell me about it."

"Alright, you guys ready for round two with those things?" Gorn asked.

"Almost. Now i gotta give him 'the speech'."

"The speech?"

"Okay, Ryan. What qualities to werewolves posess, that make us greater than Humans?"

"Right now i'm not feeling that intelligent. Could you fill in the answers for me?"

"All right. We posess strength that no Human can ever hope to have. We can see at night, we can see farther, our vision is diamond sharp, as is our fangs, and our claws. We posess hearing greater than your average Grey Wolf, able to hear even the slightest sounds, ultrasonic to infrasonic. We have unmatched stamina, and endurance; we can run faster, longer. We are more agile than your standard housecat, able to dodge attacks faster, and return them just as swift.

"We are fighters, not cowards, nor losers. Fuck what anybody else says. We are lean, mean, killing machines, capable of disemboweling anything larger than we are. We could even take on a fuckin' T-Rex were they still alive."

"You're right. Thank you, Mike. you will forevermore be mine and only mine, my mate always."

"Thank you, Ryan, that means a lot to me." i said. "Now, how's about we go help Gornak kill those things?"

"I'm still not sure about this."

"Hey, you've killed me twice before, surely you can do that to them. I mean, c'mon, Werewolves are supposed to be brave, fearless, uhm..."

"It's survival of the fittest here, not the laziest. So, let's get out there and kill those things!" Dan said. "Let's do a perimeter sweep, clear the borders, and, Gorn, should we build a wall around the front, or no?"

"We'll need a clear field of sight. No wall." Gorn said.

"Not even with an opening in the center to let them go one by one?"

"Even then, it would take too long to build."

"Alright, mate."

"Second reason i'm scared shitless," Ryan continued, "Is mostly the fact that we're in the realm of pain and suffering. In Hell. Where nobody wants to go."

Right after he said that, another demon smacked into the house, this time into the wall next to us, creating an outline of, well, something. Once again, my wolven mate jumped into my arms.

"Maybe you're not ready for this yet, all this fighting and killing stuff. At least, down here. I saw a pattern between our normal Werewolf forms, and our Feral forms: when we're 'Normal', we tend to choose pacifism, if that's a word, over violence. When we 'go Feral', we're ready and willing to fight, acting on instinct like you said, and will pretty much kill anything that breathes."

"I never thought of it that way before." Ryan said.

"So, if you were in your Feral form, your larger body size would boost your confidence in that you can do anything, and your flight-or-fight reaction goes into hyper-fight mode, so you would see everyone around you as an enemy except for other werewolves."

I would say that little speech i gave him boosted his confidence a trillionfold, as he shifted forms and helped us fend off the third wave of petrified demons, save for one who got hogtied by it's organs after landing a sucessful blast of fire that burned his fur off some. Ryan decided to keep that one to eat later.

"Oy, Mike, where ya goin'?" Dan asked as i flew off.

Instead of answering, i gained altitude, flying straight up, and took a good look at the scene. The demons seemed to be coming at us a few at a time, in no particular formations of any fashion.

"Dan, i'm hovering above the house for a better look." i thought to him. I described it to him as, to think of the house as a compass, with the front door facing west. The demons were coming somewhere from the north-west, in a line that slowly moves toward the north.

I was thinking about following the line, but decided not to yet, to just wait it out, as i glided back down, tagging what demons i could with my laser eyes.

I gave one demon the drop, as i landed on it, squishing it under my feet. Man, it felt good, for some reason. Just the feeling of something wet and, uh...

*Sizzling sound*

"YEOW!!" i screamed as a fireball nailed me right in the back. I swiftly spun around and nailed the demon back with my heat-vision, turning it into a pile of ash, along with any others that were in the line of fire, finishing off with a swipe of my claw, sending a wave of energy toward them, blowing them back a couple of yards.

"HAA-HAA! THAT'S RIGHT, MUTHAFUCKAHS! DO! NOT! MESS! WITH! THE WOLF! AWOOOOOO!" i roared at the wave of retreating demons as they fleed. I went Feral, and opened my wings, which were larger in this form, which did make me look like a griffon.

"Whaddya gunna do, chase'em?" Dan asked.

"Unless you guys wanna go with. There's room for you and Ryan on my back."

They hopped on, Gorn volunteering to stay behind. We followed them at a safe distance and altitude, when those pesky pillars shot up from the ground again.

Once again, i flew around dodging them, managing to follow the demons until we were close to the wall.

"So, this is the place... And we're only five-hundred miles form Gorn's house."

"Well, i think we've found their hiding spot. Let's go back." Ryan said as yet another pillar rose from the ground. And right under us this time, so i landed on it, Dan and Ryan hopping off.

I inspected the area beyond the walls. It looked post-apocolyptic indeed, all the buildings and skyscrapers looking like a small atomic went off nearby. Or, a plane full of c-4 flew over and blew up.

Putting my enhanced sight to good use, i scanned the wall facing us for damage. In fact, there were no holes in the wall for them to get out of. Were they attempting to climb, or jump over? The top of the walls were curved inwards, like an igloo without a roof. A third option was flight, but we've not seen any with wings yet.

Pole-vaulting? Stacking? Forming a living pyramid, or staircase?

"I'm gettin' some really bad vibes from this place. I don't know how they're doing it. Let's head back, then." i said.
