I have heard a dying man sing out his last breath

I have eaten fire, and drunk water

I have watched our world be devoured, mountains, oceans, and all

I have fought a great many battles with naught but words

I have seen the face of unspeakable horror

I have listened as it spoke mockingly of everything, and of you

I have rolled in the dust with wild dogs

I have made friends of lions, tigers, and bears

And enemies of mice and men.

You and I have lived many lives

You have a beautiful thing, timeless and transparent

The only truth I have ever known. It is everything

And nothing changes

but Love.

Love changes the world

And the world changes us.

I have heard and told stories

Stories of other worlds, other truths

I have learned those lessons, those songs sung,

Lived them out.

I will weave them together, I too contain multitudes

A time and place that has yet to be seen.

For us.

For you, my muse, my Juliet, my Dulcinea,

my Beloved, the one who guides me

A Love for the ages that will shake the world

Wake the world.
