This is the final chapter of my sci-fi furry book, Star Hopper. I am very proud that I was able to acomplish this, after all it did take two years of off and on writing. In a couple days it will be avalible to buy off of Lulu.com under Star Hopper by Argentum Lupum for $10 for the book itself. I hope that you guys have enjoyed it, and I hope you enjoy the final chapter.

Queen Colleen walked amongst the halls of the palace on Ridlyyn. Laughter filled them making her smile. The 12 months since her and Ian's ordeal had not been without their problems but none of them were as bad or difficult. Queen Colleen marched out into the garden and drew a deep breath of the morning air taking everything she could in. She found out later, after her miraculous revival, that she was not entirely dead, only in one meaning of the word. Yes, her heart had stopped and her chest stopped moving but the exploding cells inside her had released enough oxygen that it kept her brain alive for a short amount of time. The syringe that Ian had injected was a virus specifically designed to find and replace the mutated red blood cells while the concoction that she had drank sped of the healing process of surface wounds. Together, with the sudden shock of the plasma that the old Queen had shot her with, they brought her back. A chuckled escaped from her, it all seemed very science fictiony to her.

"Mommy?" A voice behind her called.

She turned to face a pure white kit standing in the garden doorway. Her black nose contrasted with the white and her blue eyes were as deep as the ocean.

"Oh Sapphire, what is it that you need?" Colleen kneeled as the Kit ran up to her.

"Daddy was teasing me again."

Queen Colleen laughed, "Again? You're going to have to get used to that."

"I beg to differ!"

Another voice came from the doorway and Ian stood with his arms crossed.

"I was not teasing, I was tickling!" He lunged after the two and all three rolled onto the grass in a laughing fit.

"Ok ok! That's enough I can't breathe." Ian said. The three stared up at the morning sky, it radiated a beautiful blue hue.

A voice drew their attention. "What are you guy's staring at?"

They looked up, Skye walked in with a limp with a little robotic cat-like robot perched on her shoulder. Her injuries had not healed easily, several times at the hospital she'd gone in and out of consciousness, worrying both Ian and Colleen. But after four months of hospitalization and several fake claws and teeth, she pulled through although she permanently walks with a limp now.

Ian laughed, "Oh, Bot. Looks like you got a tune up." He pounced down from Skye's shoulder, "Yup, got the new battery installed yesterday. Now I can run for a week without charge!" Sapphire rose and batted at Bot who played back. Ian and Colleen scooted back and let Sapphire play with Bot, Skye joined them. A sigh left Ian's muzzle, a year had already past, now he was the mate of the Queen and a father. After their ordeal on the space station they rushed to a hospital where at first the staff resisted them but they soon took them in after they learned how bad the injuries were.

Once Ian and Colleen left the hospital they had reached whit's end, what to do? Where to go? Would everything be fine and dandy or would the populace be entirely against them? They didn't know, but their best shot, they thought, would be Ridlyyn.

After going to the courts and explaining what had happened and the truth of the story they made Colleen Queen but still sentenced Ian, after all he was still a pirate. They sentenced him to fifty years hoping that he would die before the term ended.

Ian was not surprised at all, he had to pay for his deeds. Only after a week back in prison though Queen Colleen came and unlocked his cell. He kissed her right then and there, later he found out that Colleen had told the courts of the wrong judgment of Ian way back when his mother was killed.

She even presented some evidence, when Ian asked what it was she replied with an "I'll tell you someday."

Ian found out later that Colleen had adopted the Queen's kit, Sapphire. She didn't tell her about her real mother and that she had killed her herself.

Ian sighed in the spring air, he wrapped his paw around Colleen. They had a formal wedding ceremony three months ago, although that didn't make Ian king, he can never be king.

Sapphire giggled and rolled around onto her back.

"She's getting big. Are you going to tell her?"

Colleen slumped and placed her head in both of her paws. "I don't know. I don't think so, I think it'd be too much on her maybe when she's an adult."

Bot pranced with her.

"Hey thanks for fixing Bot Skye, and thanks for taking him in for me."

She batted he paw, "Speak nothing of it." She took a deep breath, "After all didn't I say I would?"

Ian just slightly nodded his head. "Yeah."

Skye followed Queen Colleen's line of sight.

"So what were you looking at?"

Queen Colleen stared back up at the sun and morning sky. "Nothing." She replied. "Just enjoying the sun."
