It hurts and it brings me to the ground in tears.
Pride for who and what I am, why must I change for you?
Do I not have the same right as you?
I am more than meets the eye, so don't discriminate.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!
You attack me for being heavier than you.
You disown me for being gay.
You outcast me for being Albino.
I am through with you; I am not your play thing to do as you wish.
You got a problem with me than do something about it.
I am who I am and I will not change what is perfect about me.
I will not fix what is not broken.
SO STEP UP AND TRY ME, I DARE YOU!
I will fight for my right to live and my right to do what is right.
My pride will not falter under the pressure of your insecurities.
I am too strong, I may suffer but I am going to expose the world to change.
If you don't like it then you can leave, well go, the door is right THERE!!!
Pride for who I am and what I am, something I desperately need to keep.
I suffered for my rights more than you can imagine.
Beaten, stabbed, shot at, disowned by family, out casted by all, and even lost a dear friend.
What more do you want from me?
Do you want me to give up and be like you?
I can't take it anymore, I have stayed quiet too long and my heart screams for justice.
My tears have been shed and I even bled spilling on the floor.
Why are you afraid?
Why do you stand in my way?
It's time I take a stand.
It is time that I fight and take what is mine.
Because I am sick of feeding your greed, it is time you pay me some respect.
SO WHAT IF YOU THINK YOUR RIGHT!?
Why should I be like you?
Well fuck that, I am going to stand here and remove the proverbial cork from the bottle of misery.
I will stand and speak here whether it rains meteors or the earth craps thunder.
I will not give up on my dreams even if you try to silence me.
I will fight for my right to love, work, be happy, to cry, to sit where I wish, and to be me.
So come on fools, try and stop me...if you think you can.
The pride of my life is greater than the pride of you thinking you are right.
No matter how much it hurts...I will not be belittled by you.
I stand here not just for me but for all who are like me.
I stand here for my gay friends as well as my own and fight for my right.
I speak here for my ethnicity as well as all those who are discriminated against.
I speak for those who are tall and short alike.
I stand here for those who are bullied and trotted upon forced to be your puppets.
I am through with you.
You who beats on the weak and trot upon all those who fight for their right to be happy.
You who lies and takes from the poor feeding your own desires.
You who wanted us to give up and die.
So here I am.
So here I stand.
So here I live.
So try and stop me if you dare.
