Hey guys! I finally got around to making chapter 5 after about five months. I'm sorry to anyone who was actually waiting for this. >.< But anyway here you go guys, hope you enjoy it! I have no idea when I will start chapter 6.

Chapter 5
Jolteon's Rage
"I've traveled this far already. I wonder how Elina and Dad are doing. Better than me I bet..." Chase sighs as he reaches a hill-top. Sitting down he silently stares at the moon. "Thats strange, the moon is out but my rings didn't change, why?" Chase ponders this thought for a few minutes not noticing the female vulpix staring at him from the base of the hill.
_ "Who is that on the hill?"_ The female Vulpix thinks to herself. "Well he's going to catch a cold, it's going to rain pretty soon." She says aloud as she starts her way up the hill. On her way up she trips on a rock causing the Umbreon to turn around, looking a bit startled to see that someone was trying to sneak up on him.
"Hey who are you, and why were you trying to sneak up on me?" Chase questions, looking at her expectantly.
"I'm Violet, and well... I wasn't exactly sneaking up on you, ya see I just saw you sitting up here and it's going to rain pretty soon so I thought that I'd come and warn you so you don't catch a cold or something." Violet says with a smiling face. "Oh, whats your name by the way?"
"My names Chase, and thanks for the warning Violet." Chase replies before he goes back to staring at the full moon.
"Chase? What kind of a name is that." Violet mutters to herself. "Hey!" She shouts. "Is the moon really that much more interesting than having a conversation with me!?"
"Huh?" Chase says looking back at her. "Oh, no I was just thinking about something else before you showed up."
"Well your going to catch a cold when it rains!" Violet says as she sits next to Chase.
"I'm not from anywhere around here, so I don't have anywhere to take shelter..." Chase replies.
"Well..." Violet starts but is cut off by a loud crack of thunder. At about the same time Chase's rings change their color to blue. "Hey, how did you do that!?" She asks fascinated.
"I don't do it on purpose, it just happens..." Chase answers with a rather sad face.
Another loud crack of thunder sounds, like a warning that it's about to start raining. "Erm... Chase I think that I should be getting back to my den it's going to rain any minute now." Violet tells him. "You can come if you'd like, since you have nowhere to stay."
"That'd be great, thanks Violet." Chase says, forcing a small smile. The two fox pokemon start making their way down the hill, but speed up after hearing more thunder. After a few minutes of running the two see some lightning in the distance. Chase watches it as he runs, he stops for a second and stares at where it's coming from.
"Hey! What are you doing? We don't have time to stop, it's going to downpour any minute now!" Violet shouts at him.
"Violet... That lightning is only striking around that cliff. Why is it only striking there?" Chase asks as he begins to walk.
"Oh... Uh, I don't know. Now come on lets go!" Violet says as she starts running again, with Chase staring at the cliff a few more seconds before he joins her. "Oh, please don't rain yet, please don't rain yet!" She says to herself. Being a fire type she hates water, and getting wet. Just as Violets den comes into view it starts to rain, at first just a light rain, but as they approach her dens entrance it starts to downpour. "Aww! I'm all wet now!" Violet complains as she walks into her den, with Chase close behind.
"This is your den?" Chase questions. "It looks kinda dumpy..."
"Well exuse me if it isn't as nice as a five star resort, if you don't like it you can go sleep outside in the cold wet rain." Violet replies in an annoyed tone, right before she shakes herself off.
"No, I'm fine here... Your den is nice by the way." Chase quickly replies with an awkward smile.
"Well I'm going to sleep." Violet yawns as she finds her way over to a small pile of hay. "Goodnight Chase." She says before drifting off to sleep.
"She expects me to sleep on this hay?" Chase thinks, staring at the pile of hay a few feet from where Violet is. "Well at least she gave me some shelter from the rain." Chase yawns as he stares out at the pouring rain outside, thinking of why the lightning was only striking around that one cliff, soon after falling asleep. He wakes hours later to find that the rain has stopped, but it's still dark outside. Yawning Chase makes his way out of the den and to the top of a small hill that was nearby. "Being like this has torn everybody who I care for out of my life..." Chase mutters to himself. Just then what looks like Elina appears in the air a few feet from him.
"Chase she loves you for who you are, not what you look like on the outside." Says the Espeon in the air.
"Elina? Is that you?" Chase asks the floating Espeon.
"Oh, I'm not Elina Chase!" The floating Espeon says giggling.
Chase looks at the Espeon quizzingly. "You aren't Elina? Well I guess that makes more sense, because I'm pretty sure Elina can't fly." Chase says laughing at his own stupidity. "Wait... If you aren't Elina, then who are you?"
The floating Espeon starts to glow bright white, an before long takes her original form. The light fades and in the place of the floating Espeon is a pink cat-like Pokemon with a long tail and blue eyes, Mew. "See I'm not Elina Chase!" Mew giggles, looking at his Shocked expression.
"W-what? A Mew!?" Chase says, still shocked that there was a Mew right in front of him. Chase didn't notice at first but when he looked he saw that his rings were back to Yellow. "Why are they... It's not daylight yet." He mumbles to himself.
"Your rings are back to being yellow colored because I'm here Chase." Mew says as she fly in slow circles around him. "i guess you could say that, Erm... I "control" them. Whenever I'm around your rings go back to being Yellow."
"So you are the cause of my rings being blue!" Chase shouts angrily at Mew.
"No, no I am not the cause of you being a shiny Pokemon, your rings just go to being that of a normal Umbreon when I am around you that's all." Mew says trying to calm Chase down. " I will tell you more Chase but first there is something I would like you to do for me."
Chase gives Mew a funny look. "What do you want me to do?" He asks.
"Well, there is a Jolteon here, and he is the cause of this areas many recent thunderstorms. He poses a threat to the safety of the Pokemon that are living here, and that includes your Vulpix friend..."
"So where do I come in?" Chase questions, cutting Mew off.
"Let me finish first Chase." The Umbreon nods with a amall awkward smile on his face. "Heres where you come in Chase, I want you to go and try to calm him down, the pokemon here are in danger." Mew finishes.
"Wait, why can't you just d..." But before Chase can finish, the pink cat Pokemon disappears from his sight. "She left... Will I meet her again? Anyway, I'd better get back the sun will be up soon and Violet will probably think I ditched her or something..." He thinks as he makes his way down the hill and back to Violets den. As Chase walks in he sees Violet still asleep on her hay bed, so he decides to get a little more sleep. Lying down on the other hay bed and closing his eyes.
Another Hour Later
Chase awakens to Violet shouting at him trying to get him up, he ignores her and turns away.
Violet pounces on his side. "Come on Chase wake up!" She yells in his ear, but the Umbreon still ignores her efforts. "Hmph. Fine then, but when I get back all your going to get is the food that I don't want." Violet snaps at him.
"F-fine... I'm up." Chase groans as he stands up.
"Alright then, lets get going." Violet laughs, her strategy to wake Chase had proved successful. The two fox Pokemon make their way out of the den to go find some breakfast.
"So, how long have you been living here Violet?" Chase asks out of curiosity.
The fox looks back at him. "Me? Um... I'd say about two months, more or less." Violet replies after thinking about how long she had been living here.
"Hmm... Are there any other Pokemon living here besides you Violet? Questions Chase.
"Well... There were lots of other Pokemon living here besides me, but because of all the recent thunderstorms most of them left." Violet says as she sits down on the grassy field.
"Uh, how come you didn't leave when everyone else did?" He asks, sitting down beside her.
"I didn't want to leave." Violet lightly snaps. "I wasn't going to let some thunderstorms scare me away from my home. But I also wanted to try to see what was causing all the thunderstorms, and like you mentioned the other night the lightning only strikes around that one cliff." The Vulpix finishes.
Chase glares at Violet. "Did you find out who or what was causing the thunderstorms?"
"Yep, I sure did!" She says smiling. "The one who has been making all the thunderstorms was a Jolteon, and he's angry about something." Violet says looking in the direction of the cliff.
"Whats a... Jolteon?" Chase asks sounding a bit childlike.
Violet stares at Chase with a funny look on her face for a few seconds before realizing that he wasn't joking. "He's a Jolteon. He is another evolution of Eevee, just like you. But Jolteon is an electric trype, not a dark type like you are." She sighs.
Chase stares at Violet with some amazement. "Wow, I never knew that Eevee had more evolutions than an Umbreon. Hey, do you know why Jolteon is angry?" Chase questions her.
"No, I am still trying to figure out why he is angry myself, but whenever me or anyone goes near his territory he attacks you with his electricity." Violet says shivering, thinking of all the times she had to dodge the Jolteons electric attacks.
Chase sighs. "Well that didn't give me much more information than what Mew said..." He mutters to himself. "Well... I guess I have no other choice than to go see Jolteon." Chase announces as he gets up and starts off towards Jolteons Den.
"Chase! Have you lost your mind!? Jolteon is dangerous, you can't just go waltzing in there while he's angry like this!" Violet shouts at him.
"Violet, if you don't want to come then thats fine. But I need to go and find out what he's angry about. Because he has no right to be making everyone elses lives miserable with all these thunderstorms just because he's angry." Chase says, sounding a little angry himself as he continues in the direction of Jolteons den.
"You really are a strange little Umbreon... And pretty stupid aswell." Violet thinks to herself. "Chase, I suggest that you leave Jolteon alone until he can calm himself down, which would probably take a while..." She trails off.
"And then what Violet? Watch as his lightning-bolts strike someone every day, It's dangerous for all the Pokemon still living here." Chase snaps at her.
"My point is that this is just going to be a suicide mission, and all your going to accomplish is getting yourself killed." Violet says in a concerning tone.
"What about you? You're also trying to see what he is so mad about." Chase says lifting his tone a bit. "Well maybe you should leave aswell if you're just going to sit there and watch as he injures everyone else." Chase finishes. Violet is speechless as she stares at him. "It doesn't matter to me if you don't come along. I've made up my mind, and I'm going to see Jolteon." He adds.
She sighs. "Chase, I'm coming with you to see Jolteon. I don't want to see you or anyone else get hurt because of him. But we haven't even eaten anything yet, so here." Violet says, grabbing a few Oran berries from a nearby bush.
