If anyone except for Viggo said the words 'Viggo has a younger sister who, incidentally, has been sold into slavery', I would have called utter bullshit on that statement; but to my surprise, it was true; it was even a surprise to Viggo. Some part of me wondered if Viggo knew he had a sister; another part of me assumed that he did, but he lost contact with her a while back. My assumptions did very little for either of us as we walked up to the Black Wolf on the far side of the club, most likely the 'ringleader' from the amount of slaves paying attention to him...I counted about three.

"You..." Viggo called out to the Wolf, just a few feet away from him as the Wolf looked up to greet us with a malicious smile. I saw Viggo nod at the Fox behind him; "how much to hire her for the night?"

"Now, now; no need be so hasty, my friend." The Wolf kept smiling, flicking his long fringe back with one paw, revealing his different coloured eyes - one blue and one green - although the area outside each iris was completely bloodshot, giving the impression that he was literally bleeding from his eyes. "That little Fox...that depends what you're going to do with her."

"Just a one-night stand." Viggo replied quickly, obviously trying to contain his anger; personally, I would have simply reached out with both claws to find the Wolf's soft-point on each side of his skull...then see how much his life is worth. My mind returned to the situation as Viggo quickly placed his paw on my shoulder; "my friend here is engaged...come next week, he'll be mated."

"...You can take the girl now and pay after." The Wolf said after a long, silent inspection of my figure, noting that my tail was still reddened from the afternoon; "I don't want to have you pay the usual sum now only to find that you've completely ruined her..."

Viggo could just barely contain his anger as we both turned around after I had been handed the key that would unlock the tether restraining the Fox's sister; however, I decided to hand the key over to Viggo, letting him step up onto the platform his sister was on and quickly unlocking it, I glanced at the Fox's surprised expression as Viggo took her by the arm and practically dragged her out of the main area of the club; I followed behind quietly, looking back at Pump who had already found a way of occupying his time, socialising with a few of the club's 'patrons.

As we exited through a large single-door that led further into the building, I couldn't help but keep eyeing the 'patrons' in the club, eventually landing my gaze on four specific people; the first and second were a Canine and Fox, both with bloodshot eyes and ruffled fur, tapping their paws on the table in front of them out of impatience; the third was a Fox, his crimson fur just visible above his chest as he wore very protective clothes; the final one was a white-furred Feline, the only article of visible clothing being his shirt that barely covered his arms. It took my mind only a second to figure out that I'd seen all four of them before...

The same two junkies and the same two blackmailers from yesterday... ***********************************************************

It took us barely a minute to find a suitable room - one with a balcony - and put a bit of distance between us and the main area of the club; even though Viggo's sister was present - and there were four people in the club with a vendetta for me - it hardly made any difference; we were still going to shoot down everyone associated with what was going on in the club.

I quickly looked around the room, making note of the worn double-bed in the middle and the small, rusted balcony on the far side, already occupied with a large bag most likely containing the weapons we had left behind before entering the club. I didn't even bother to wonder how the Seeker managed to know what room we were heading for, let alone how he managed to drop our weapons in before we even arrived; I simply rushed over to the large bag and carried it over to the double-bed, dropping it on one side as Viggo and his sister sat down on the other.

"Celeste , what the hell are you doing here?!" Viggo lashed out at his sister as I casually holstered both of my handguns around my waist, checking beforehand to see if they were loaded. "You're supposed to be living a normal life, not getting dragged into this sort of business."

"Nice to see you too, Viggo." His sister retorted, trying to pull away from the grip Viggo still had on her arm; I went about my business and strapped a knife to each of my forelegs, drawing one out and handling it in my left hand as I pressed myself up against the entrance, waiting for Viggo and his sister to finish arguing.

"I shouldn't have left you behind by yourself..." Viggo growled, letting go of his sister's arm and proceeding to arm himself, slinging a rifle over his back and holstering his bronze-pistol on his right foreleg; "you're the only one I know who can't keep out of trouble when told."

"Maybe if you never left I wouldn't have been kidnapped and sold into slavery." Celeste said lowly, bowing her head then looking back at Viggo as he tossed his coat over to her; at the least, it would give her a bit of modesty. "...It's good to see you, by the way."

"...It's good to see you too." Viggo replied quietly, hugging his sister for a brief moment before pressing his body up against the other side of the door, motioning for Celeste to keep out of sight; he then turned his attention to me; "the door hinges are on my side, so once the door opens, you'll be the only one able to let off any shots. I think we should..."

I quickly put up one claw, motioning for him to be quiet, to which he surprisingly - and reluctantly - obeyed; the whole room went silent as I listened out for what was going on in the corridor just outside. From what I saw upon entering, the corridor was wide but straight, our room being the 'dead end' whilst the opposite end was connected to two more corridors; one on the left and another on the right, forming a 'T' shape with us at the base of said shape. The shape, however, wasn't what I was focusing on at that moment; I could hear the sounds of footsteps just at the end of the corridor; I wasn't sure how I knew, but I could already tell that two people were coming from the left, two from the right; what disturbed me more was that I knew exactly who was coming...

We had left the door just barely open, so it was only a matter of putting some force on it rather than turning the door-handle; I calmly hooked my right foot-claw around the bottom corner of the door as I simultaneously holstered my knife, replacing it with my two revolvers, holding them up at head height as I prepared to swing the door open. I blocked out everything in my head, leaving only me, my four targets and the corridor that we inhabited; but - in a matter of seconds - it would just be me and the corridor.

I quickly forced the door open with my foot-claw, letting Viggo stop it as I swung around to meet all four assailants; but before they could even let off a random shot in my direction, I had already managed to aim at their rough area and let off as many shots as I could; of course, it wasn't as if they had enough intelligence to form a line or not take up all the space in the corridor. I hardly even had to look at where I was aiming before letting off two, then four, eventually stopping at eight shots and feeling confident that I had taken everyone out.

My body felt as though it was working independently of my mind as I inspected each body. The Canine had taken one shot to the shoulder and another to the chest, still - and barely - alive. The Crimson Fox had taken three shots to the gut, blood already soaking into his clothes as he writhed in pain. The Fox and Feline both had roughly the same injuries; one shot to the head each, though the Feline had taken one extra shot to the chest; but that wasn't enough that I'd leave them to die. I had stabbed one of them through the wrist and almost tore another's stomach-contents out, yet they were still up and about one day after it happened. I quickly replaced the bullets I had spent and holstered both handguns, pulling out my knife again to make sure they stay dead.

"Always this thorough?" Viggo remarked as I slid my knife over each of the four assailant's throats, providing a relatively quick death; I simply nodded and got up quickly, sheathing my blade and pulling out both handguns yet again.

All three of us managed to navigate our way back to the main room of the club, with Celeste at the back, Viggo in front of her, and me at the very front; I didn't exactly like being in the position that was most likely to take a large amount of gunfire, but it wasn't as if I could just ask Viggo to go up to the front. The only thing that seemed to worry me was the lack of attention we were getting; maybe nobody noticed or heard the gunfire that went on a few seconds ago; or maybe they were just setting a trap for us. Either way, my questions were immediately answered as we saw a large Dragon coming our way, twisting around the entrance into the main room in an attempt to avoid the amount of bullets being hurled at him.

"Good of you to come." Pump laughed, holding his claws up expectantly as Viggo removed the rifle from his back and tossed it over to the Dragon; the rifle almost looked as if it had shrunk on the way to Pump's arms, judging from how small it was compared to him. "I met this nice girl back there; came at me with a piece of broken glass after the fighting broke out."

"I'm guessing the metal scanners don't really apply to some of those guys then." Viggo assumed, receiving a quick nod from the Dragon as he loaded his weapon, twisting back around the door again and resuming the fire-fight originating from the room.

Viggo and I quickly followed behind, motioning for Celeste to stay out of the room and stay down; she silently obeyed and kept as low as she could without lying down as Viggo and I joined the fight. I counted only five figures in all before ducking behind a counter with Viggo, shielding ourselves from the oncoming barrage of bullets; I made a specific note of the Black Wolf in the far back of the room, ready to take down all five targets from left to right. Before I could react, however, I saw Pump and Viggo quickly lean out of their cover, drowning out what little audible noise there was - other than gunfire - with even more gunfire.

Most noticeable was Viggo's signature, three-bullet revolver that made up for the lack of bullets with sheer stopping-force and noise; the first shot made my ears ring and my head begin to ache as I leaned out from behind the counter with barely anyone to shoot at. Pump and Viggo had already downed three of the five persons by the time I had fully leaned out, grabbing the attention of the Black Wolf in the back and receiving a short hail of gunfire that sent me back into cover. I almost let out a yell as a sharp pain pierced my right shoulder.

I looked down quickly at the tear in my suit, blood slowly trickling from it as I dropped both revolvers; I couldn't help but feel that people had a grudge against my right shoulder as I reached into the wound with one claw, pulling out a thick bullet and quickly bandaging it up again to stop the bleeding. I saw Viggo and Pump duck back into cover from the corners of my eyes as the pain in my shoulder was being replaced with an intense heat; it was the kind of heat that my body could handle, but was so strong that it almost drowned out the pain in my shoulder.

Both my mind and body were working together now, focusing solely on the Black Wolf as I grabbed one of my revolvers in my left claw, quickly standing up from the counter once the gunfire had ceased; I wasn't even sure how I had managed it, but in a fraction of a second I had rotated around to face the Wolf, keeping my revolver aimed straight on as I stopped at the Wolf's head, pulling the trigger almost instantly and sending him to the floor.

A long silence filled the room as the heat in my body slowly died out; the only sound I could make out was the sound of footsteps - probably Celeste as she entered the room - and my slow, deep breathing. I had to blink once or twice before I finally regained focus, wincing from the pain that had returned to my shoulder as the whole of my right arm went limp; my mind was entirely blank as I instinctively walked over to retrieve my second handgun, holstering both and just standing there, feeling physically faint all of a sudden.

"Rush, are you okay?" I could just barely hear a voice ask out of concern; my whole body would have toppled over if it weren't for a large purple figure supporting me by my left shoulder, practically carrying me out of the club.

From what I could tell at that moment, we had all got out safely after the fire-fight. I quickly regained focus again once we were all back inside the limousine; me, Viggo, Pump and Celeste; but something felt...off...I looked at Viggo and followed his gaze, ending at my tail, which was now completely red; I wasn't even sure if it was blood or a rash or something completely different, but one thing was certain...I would definitely need to see the doctor once we got back to the club...
