I was dreaming, a dream about hate and sorrow. A dream filled with picture of some kind of operation on a young man flashing by as the sound of screams gets closer, the screams stopped and i opened my eyes. Everything was blurry and hard to see so i reached out with my hand to feel a cold glass wall in front of me, i started to see better and discovered that i was floating around inside a glass container of some kind.
I saw something glowing weakly and looked at my right hand, there was some kind of disturbance in my palm and in the middle were the skin getting darker until it reached pitch black in the center. I tried touching it slowly feeling every part of it with my index finger, it was soft but yet it felt so hard to the touch a single moment i felt a shock run through my palm and all the way to my brain making me clench my fist digging my rather long nails into my palm drawing out a little blood.
I swung my fist at the glass making it shatter as the pressure of the liquid in the tank got too high and the thick liquid ran out pulling me with it, I hit the floor sliding a bit before i got stopped by a chair standing in the middle of the floor. I looked around from where i was lying only to discover that i was lying in a small room with a lot of wires all over the place, all the wires looked like they was connected to the tank i was inside before. There was also tracks of blood leading over to the only door in the room, i stood up feeling weak in my legs but i managed to keep my balance and i found some clothes lying on a table covered in notes and papers filled with words that i didn't bother to read.
I got dressed and looked at myself in a mirror hanging beside the door, I was dressed in a white T-shirt and a pair of black pants some underpants and a black jacket.
I headed for the exit feeling that something was wrong as i opened the door, i pushed open the door and on the other side i saw some corpses missing their heads. I felt like i was about to puke as the smell of the rotting flesh reached my nose I quickly ran past the corpses and leaned up against a wall waiting for my stomach to calm down, I took some deep breaths and started walking down the hall passing several doors that i could not open.
I reached the end of the dark bad smelling hall which only was lit by the sunlight reaching in through a few cracks in the walls I grabbed the handle of the door and pushed making it creak open slowly, I felt the sunlight hit me in the eyes as the door opened on the other side of the door was something I'd never had seen in my entire life before. There was plants growing almost everywhere through the roads and around the cars, even up the small and tall buildings were the strange plants growing.
Somewhere on the plants were small purple flowers sprouting, the air around the flowers was filled with the purple pollen from them. From where i was standing could i see several corpses spread all over the area, some of them almost completely decayed and some on the way to decay. I started walking across the rubble from what i identified to be the ruins of a military base, i took a deep breath filling my lungs with the cold air covering the whole area.
I stopped up in front of a small bush covered in the purple flowers picking one of them and breathing in their sweet scent, i dropped the flower when i felt a source of electricity run through my hand. I looked into my hand and saw that the colored area had grown slightly, i put my hand in my pocket and started walking in the direction of a building that looked like it had been built on recently.
I stopped at the door to the house that to my surprise was a armed gate with a keypad and a iris scanner on it, i tried knocking on the door and then i waited hearing a weak buzzing sound from nearby. "A security drone" i mumbled to myself and knocked again "Hello! anyone there?" i shouted and waited again hearing a few clicking noises from inside the gate, i could hear that it was about to open so i took a few steps back so that the door wouldn't open into my face. And i was right the door opened slowly and from within i could hear a womans voice from some speakers "please enter and wait for the scanners to decide if you are a "Demon" or a "Angel" until then feel free to look around the lobby," i entered the lobby and sat down in a couch looking around to see if i could see these "scanners" but the only thing in lobby were a few chairs, a couch, a stack of books and another armed door.
I leaned back and started thinking about what she meant by if i were an Angel or an Demon, but no matter how long i though about it i wasn't able to figure it out. I stood up as i heard the buzzing sound that a BioScanner makes when scanning and processing a lot of data at the same time, it was clearly a older model used for military purposes. I heard the womans voice again "Hmm interesting.. neither Demon nor Angel.. you are still a human.. well then my doors are open for you" after she was done talking the second armed door slid to the side allowing me to travel further into the building, as i walked past the armed door i heard it close behind me the twelve locks clicking into place and the main lock slide up into the door. These armed doors were built to be able to resist about nearly anything and they don't joke when they say nearly anything, of what i could remember I've seen one of those doors being tested by blowing up a nuclear bomb near it.
I continued walking up the stairs that were on the other side of the armed door until i reached a normal wooden door by the end, i opened the door and was almost blinded by the bright light that lit up the room. I had entered what looked like a quite normal living room filled with whatever you can find in a normal persons room, the only strange thing is that the floor was covered by a lawn of what smelled like catnip. I walked across this "lawn" over to the only door in the room beside where i came from, i opened the door and on the other side was a hall with about four other doors. I walked to the first door and opened it seeing a kitchen on the other side, i closed the door and headed for the next one and opened it. Behind this door was a freezing room filled with all kinds of frozen goods and a lot of frozen fish, i closed the door and walked over to the next door opening it seeing a lab on the other side.
I could see that this lab had equipment used for gene research and i could see that it had been used a lot lately there were all kind of stains all over the place, i closed the door and walked to the last of the doors opening it. On the other side of this door was a room that looked like a office owned by some rich director of some important company, there was the classic office table with the classic office chair behind it. But this office had something that a normal office don't have, in the office chair -to my big surprise- was a beautiful woman sitting.
And here is the strange thing about her, she have fur covering her body and she have a nice pair of cat ears on top of her head. "welcome human" she said softly with a weak purr in her voice, i started feeling a little weak in my legs and my vision got a little blurry. "You okay?" the catgirl said but i didn't hear her properly as i fell over, the darkness filled my vision and i passed out.
