Ian slowly brought his little star hopper in towards the atmosphere of Veare. It wasn't a big planet, more like a moon really. Most people used it as a hub for all the traffic that came through the intergalactic space dock, it was almost like a rest stop. But unlike those it was kept nice, it was clean and enjoyable. The place that'd make you feel good about yourself. With a light touch of the throttle and a quick pull of the break and landing gear, Ian pulled the ship out of the sky like a head hitting a pillow after a long day. The place they landed was a little out of the populated area so nobody saw them. Colleen still next to him observed the landing watching the controls, watching his paws find buttons out of what seemed like millions and twist the control stick expertly.

"Well, we're here."

He pressed the canopy button and the dome hissed and the hydraulics opened it, "Don't get comfortable though, we're not going to be her long somebody could easily recognize us."

Ian climbed out of the cramped cockpit and then turned to help Colleen out. He jumped down to the ground, followed by Colleen, and then opened the hull door to let Bot and Trent out. "Bot, unplug we're here I need you to protect the ship while I head into the city."

The grey fox stopped and looked at the slump of a wolf that lay in the birth, "how could you still be sleeping?" Ian picked up a random metal part and threw it at him. "Wha!" Trent awoke in a surprise and fell out of the bed hitting the floor hard and in his pocket, the little deep space transmitter broke under the weight of his knees. "Owww, what'd you have to do that for?" He said rubbing his head, Ian just shrugged, "Come on, get up we're here."

Muttering some things to himself Trent reluctantly got up and dusted himself off, but when he looked up Ian stood directly in front of him, "what's up?" Ian's paw pushed Trent to the wall, "If you tell anyone who she actually is!" Trent moved his pupils over to where Ian was pointing, outside of the hull door was Colleen standing innocently eyeing her surroundings. "I will personally rip out your throat so you can't speak again. Got it?"

Trent knew what Ian was in for but right now he couldn't do anything, the threat sent shivers down his spine and back up, he gulped, "yes."

With a sudden change of character Ian lowered his arm, "awesome, let's go, I have to go pick up some things so we'll stay together until town." Ian twirled around on one pad and greeted Colleen outside of the ship.

Trent watched him smile, "you just had to wake me up that way." He said under his breath and followed in his steps.

The three of them entered the town, or more city. Trent started to think, he hadn't told Daysus where he was going to be, he'd only told him the planet. He'd have to draw the two of them to a place where he knew that the captain would find them, or contact them in some way. Colleen and Ian had gotten in front of him, so he played tag along with them until they came to a mechanical supply shop, all three took a step inside. Trent looked around, the store was more expansive then it looked, and the counter was manned by a she-wolf. She welcomed Ian like a long lost family member, "Ian, how are you? I haven't seen you in ages!" She ran around the counter and opened her arms for a hug, which Ian gave. "It has been a while hasn't it Skye."

The now named Skye looked kind of scrawny, not an in need scrawny but a I-don't-eat-a lot type thing. She wore almost a dozen bracelets on each arm and some black leather fingerless gloves covered her paws. She was covered by a bunch of different types of clothes like she'd collected them over the years. Her hair covered half her face, as it looked like she just let it go where it hang. Her eyes were the same color as her fur, a dark grey, Trent thought it as a weird color for eyes as he watched both of them make up.

"Who are these people?" She asked with a smile.

"Oh, their friends," Ian replied choosing his answer carefully. Skye was somebody he trusted, but he couldn't tell her about Colleen out in the open. The wolf walked back around the counter, "ok, you don't have to tell me. But what you do need to tell me is what you want, I can't read your mind."

Trent backed away slowly as Ian answered, he snuck down an isle and started sifting through the merchandise, she had to sell space transmitters here! One by one he knocked each isle off his list until he came to the last isle where all communications things were sitting, "how'd I know." He grabbed one off the shelf and quickly began to transmit his whereabouts to the waiting captain.

Colleen stood quietly while Skye and Ian talked, "how's Bot? I noticed that he wasn't here."

"That's actually what I'm here about" Ian said quietly, "could we talk in the back room or something?"

"Oh sure!" She said, "follow me." Both Ian and Colleen followed but Ian stopped her, "I need you to stay here while I talk to Skye, I won't be very long."

Colleen replied with a nod and the two headed to the back of the store.

"So...what's up with Bot? I told you exactly how to build him, and I can't exactly fix him unless he's here." Ian stopped at the end of the hall that said "staff only." She stared him down "or is this about something else."

"No, it's about Bot, but I'm thinking about settling down and I wouldn't need him anymore, I was just thinking if you, you would want him. Would you?"

She smiled, "Of course silly, I'll take him, after all he knows me well and it'd be a lot easier if you gave him to me then sell him."

Ian chuckled, "Yeah, I wouldn't want him to go to some random person who ends up dismantling him or something."

Skye noted Ian's face, this was incredibly hard for him, "don't worry, I'll take good care of him you know me!" She gave him a little play punch on his shoulder, he smiled and did the same back, "I'll contact you when I find a place to settle down."

"I'll be here."

Suddenly, Colleen shrieked from the other room.

"Shit, better not be another thief!" Skye said. Both ran to the main part of the store to find Colleen in the arms of a large wolf with a uniform on, she struggled but the arms of the wolf kept her at bay. Ian was in disbelief then he felt a pair of paw grab him from behind and push him to the ground, his face hit the ground at full force, and they did the same to Skye. "Trent get the hell out of here!"

Trent came out of an aisle, the wolf looked at him, "where's Colleen?" The leader asked. "That's her." He replied with a point of his paw, "Although her appearance has changed, it's her. He said so himself." Ian couldn't believe it, this was his friend or so he thought. Trent turned to Ian and looked down on him, "in fact he told me last night, didn't you?" Two burly wolves picked up the fox so his feet couldn't touch the ground, "Why Trent! What did I do?" Trent stepped in front of the captive, "Did you really think I was on your side!" Ian only replied with heavy breathing.

Trent smiled, "I hid it so well. In fact, I was never with you, how do you think Commander Ashtin happened to find us after that raid! Right when our weapons were warming up!" He poked the half-breed in the chest, his claw dug past the fur and into Ian's skin causing it to bleed.

"I bet you wouldn't have guessed it," Trent walked around the helpless fox, "but I'm actually an officer in the Navy and this is going to promote me to captain of my own ship!"

"But what did I do!" Ian shot back in his defense.

"Well," he said stopping once again in front of Ian. "I was a spy, sent to serve on your ship and gain your trust. Which I accomplished brilliantly." From the sound of his voice he was immensely proud of the feat. "We were supposed to capture you that time after Ridlyyn and even though I created it has hard a possible you still escaped." He growled. "they picked me up and demoted me and sent me to a crappy planet on the edge of the line because I didn't follow through with your capture."

Ian just listened to Trent's story, he couldn't think of anything else to say. "Then I thought you couldn't make my life any worse."

Ian's ear perked up, "What did I do then?" He asked genuinely in the dark about what Trent was talking about.

"What did you do." He said, his voice on the verge of crazy. "You killed Kilda, my love! That's what you did!" Trent balled his paw and punched Ian in the gut. The two huge wolves dropped him to the floor where Trent continued to kick him. Ian curled up still trying to defend himself, "how do you know that! She could have not been on the Flagship!"

The beating stopped, he wanted Ian to hear this well, but the one of the two bronze wolves picked him up but bound him "oh, I knew she wasn't on that. You killed her before in one of your raids, remember? Planet Elusus? With the Navy station there, well I was there as well. I will never forget."
