Oliver - Oliver is the guy who Skye likes. He has currently split up with his girlfriend, who is one of Skye's friend, and is starting to be more friendly with Skye. He is a light brown jaguar who is a really good swimmer and piano player. his eyes are brown. His hair is an extremely light blonde and it's fluffy :3

Michael - Michael is a large panther with deep black fur and blazing green eyes. He is Skye's ex-boyfriend. He drinks and takes drugs often. He has brown hair of medium length.

Kael** - Kael is a tall, black, grey-wolf male. He has light grey marking on his face and tail and his right front paw is white. His eyes are a dep brown, almost black. He has short black hair.**

Tai - Tai is a fox-cat half-breed. Being slim with a canine face but having a shorter nose. His ears are canine as well, alon with his tail. His eyes, which are a deep blue, are more cat-like though. His fur is a deep red, being a lighter orange colour on his underbelly.

Oliver sighed and sat down on the bench, first looking around to make sure that no one was coming over to them. Her reached back, absent-mindedly and scratched behind his ear. He looked at Skye, pain in his eyes, but something else there as well. He shook his head and looked away at the tree that they were sitting near.

"I caught Teagan with her ex. She told me that they were over but I... I did have my suspicions." He turned to look at her, anger displayed now but it was glazed over, like his mind was elsewhere.

"And the wierdest thing is... I'm happy that we're not longer together because I've realized something. I never really and truely liked her. I was always just going with her because it was... The correct thing to do in a way." He stood up now, bunching his paws in frustration, now seeming to talk to no one in particular.

"And now the one I want... Will probably never, even considering going out with me because she is perfect. She has the right ideas, the perfect smile, the perfect voice and I know. I know that I will never compare to her."

Skye watched him, standing slowly and jumping back when he turned to face her. Her heart pained as she heard him speak of another, the girl who is perfect. She could feel the tears forming but she was practised in swallowing her pains and feelings. She placed a paw on his shoulder and looked into his eyes and spoke softly.

"I'm sure that whoever she is, she will like you back." She told him, meaning every single word that she spoke. If only he knew h9ow much he meant to her, then maybe he would see...

Oliver shrugged her off and turned away then stopped and turned back, pulling her into a hug. Startled, she gasped then hugged him back. In all the time that she had known him, and been his friend, he had never hugged her. She had hugged him but he never her. He realesed and stepped back, a sparkle in his eyes and a smile playing on his mouth. Skye couldn't help but be caught in his features and just watched as he walked away, every step he was taking feeling like he was stepping on her heart. Now it was her turn to sigh. She slumped down on the chair and watched as he dissapeared into a corridor, wondering who this girl was.

"There you are!" Skye turned to see Hannah, her hooves click-clacking on the ground, walking over to her. She smiled at her best friend and moved over so she could sit down. Placing an arm around Skye, she pulled her friend into a hug and spoke.

"What's the matter, your energy has been frantic lately." She asked Skye. Hannah has the ability to sense energy, much like how Skye can, but she can only do that. Hannah isn't very good at controlling it either, having to give the worse energy to Skye.

"I was just speaking to Oliver and he told me about... Actually I shouldn't say anything. He doesn't want anyone else to know. But I'm fine now. Just a little down." Skye said, leaning into Hannah. She could sense that her friend didn't believe that she was fine but Skye didn't really feel like complaining.

The rest of the day went along as normal. Hannah and Skye mucked about and they went their seperate ways when they had different classes. Maths was a bore, the teacher droning on about something to do with triangles and such. Skye knew that she should of payed attention, being in the bottom maths and all, but she just couldn't It was like her mind would shut down. Her freind Tai, a fox/cat half-breed, would often sit next to her in Maths. He was very smart and helped Skye out but she would still forget a lot of things. before she knew it, the bell went and it was time to go home. She quickly packed everything away in her bag and walked for the back gate to go to the station, turning the coner a little too charply, she bumped right into the person in front of her, both of the falling over.

"I'm so sorry." Skye said laughed as she sat up to find herself looking straight into Olivers eyes.

"No problem. Need a hand?' He asked as he got up and offered Skye his hand. She took it and get up, brushing herself off, a little embarrased but it was a cvommon thing for her to trip and fall.

"You going to the bus-stop near the station?" Skye asked him as they walked out the gate. All she got was a nod though, which of course, was normal for Oliver. He hardly ever spoke to anyone, only now was he starting to loosen up again. As they walked, Skye kept conversation going as usual. She had always hated silence when walking, it made things feel wierd. When it was time to part, she just waved farewell, not trying to hug him because she could feel that something was off.

Will I ever get through to him?

She asked herself but then forced it to the back of her mind as she saw Elizabeth, the raven fluttering her feathers slightly. With a smile, Skye practically jumped over to her and the pair engaged in a conversation. Mostly random stuff. The train trip was pretty much the same, with Skye being the last person off as usual. Then it was home to study the exciting life of a protzone...

--

"SKYE!!!" Skye jumped in surprise to see the face of her English teacher glaring down at her. Her ears folded back slightly and she smiled up at Ms Crawford.

"Sorry Miss. What?" She asked innocently, trying not to laugh at her own situation. Hannah was stiffling a laugh of her own and Oliver on Skyes' left, was watching with interest, his brown eyes concerned. Skye was touched but didn't have much of a chance to show him that she was thankful.

"What I was saying, Skye, is that I want you to come up the front and show your work so far on your writing. You must of been working so hard on it last night as well, otherwise you'd of been wide awake." Ms Crawford said, the hawks feather fluffed out a little. Skye nodded and picked up her papers, looking down at the words, not knowing if she could read them out. She had never really thought of herself as a good writer of any sorts but she had to try. Clearing her throat she began.

If you're reading this... I am dead or dying. I just want to say now that I am sorry for all the pain I've caused, all the death I've brought. I'm sorry for the families that I have destroyed, all the friendships that have been lost. But most of all I'm sorry for lying to you. The one person whom I should of trusted. The one who I loved. The one who loved me back. I'm so sorry.

It's just... I couldn't let anyone into my life, not with what I was... What I am. I'm a monster, an evil being that should not walk this earth, yet I still do. I'm better off dead, buried and forgotten, just a flaw in history. Just a memory that will soon fade. But why am I here! What is my prupose! Am I meant to kill, to crave for blood every single day. To want to watch the light fade from the eyes of others. I just can't live with myself anymore and I don't want you to see me like this. I know you say that you'll always care, but I don't want to hurt you. So this is goodbye...

The class was silent as Skye took her seat and the teacher speechless. Though her story was short, it had hit a nerve in the class. Ms Crawford cleared her throat then continued the class without another word. Not too soon after the bell rang and Skye turned to Oliver with a smile.

"We have music now yes?" She asked him, hoping that they would have practical so he could teach her more of Rue De Cascades. She mock-glared at him when he just nodded and soon they were walking through the busy high school corridors, dodging fellow students of all shapes and sizes. Music class was prettymuch empty and there was a note on the board telling them that it was just practical today. Skye wooped and turned to Oliver.

"Are you going to teach me more of Rue De cascades like you promised?" She asked him, eyes bright. Music prac was always the best because they just mucked around. She remembered that Pat and Zack were both at a band thing so Skye and Oliver would have the piano room all to themselves. Marking her name on the role, Ske then met Oliver in the piano room and smiled as she heard him playing. She opened the door quietly and sat next to him, watching his fingers fly across the piano gracefully. She loved to watch him play. It was like being brought into a trance. The way his muscles moved as he played, the look on his face, how it went from concentrated to peaceful.

"So do you remembered the first part?" He asked her, finishing the song.

"Yeah I do! Squidge over!" She said and shuffled across, placing her hands on the correct keys and playing the bass perfectly. She had been practising a lot lately and knew the bass off by heart.

"Good. Now I'll teach you the melody that goes over the bass." He said and together they practised, SKye having trouble but soon being able to play it with confidence. As the lesson came to an end Oliver decided to teach her the next little part. Skye tried but could never remember the keys so Oliver stood up and leaned over her, placing his hand over hers and guided her through the steps. Being this close to him was in-toxicating for her. His sweet scent, mixed with chlorine as he swam practically every morning. She could feel his muscles moving against her body as they playing together and soon she faltered, both of them turning to face eachother, faces close enough so that their noses about touched. Blue eyes stared into brown and Skye was taken aback when Oliver kissed her, sitting down on the chair and pulling her close to him. She could feel his arm around her waist and her eyes closed as she let her body move in with his, then her mind came in and she got up suddenly, breaking the kiss and grabbing her bag. She ran out the door and through the school, her lips tingling as a single tear trailed down her cheek.
