Stryker Duke of Snakeville Background Story
As per usual for snakeville citizens when Stryker, back then known as Kevin, on his fifth birthday he was summoned before the royal warlock and looked through the big book of snakes and chose the copperhead, then he wanted to change his name to match his new appearance and that's why his name is unusual. When Stryker was 14 years old one day he went to bed like usual then during the night he woke up to growling and looked up to see a werewolf assassin standing over him holding a dagger above his head and after some wrestling and fighting Stryker ended up killing the werewolf assassin which ended up being the werewolf kings nephew. Outraged by his nephew being killed by a snakeville citizen the werewolf king wanted to declare war on the kingdom, he was also calling for his nephew's killer to be brought to him to deliver his own justice, but of course King Derrick said no he would not give up one of his son's to be put to death. So that night the King went to his youngest son and told him to run away and live his own life away from the castle. Taking his father's advice Stryker moved out to the edge of a swamp away from snakeville and the werewolf empire. At age 17 while out hunting for food, Stryker ran into a human witch in desperate need of rescuing from a alligator, which he did, afterwards the witch rewarded him with shape shifting powers but only the ability to shape shift into a copperhead naga and a full copperhead. Then a few years later Stryker decide to explore outside of his swamp and he discovered a beach with a fabulous hotel full of creatures that really nice and even found other rooms and buildings that other creatures gather at. He occasionally gets letters from his family through a royal messenger, he also met his mate in one of the many buildings. Since coming to these buildings he has made quite a few friends but he always head back to the edge of his swamp.
