       It wa...

It was hard to know whether or not this was real to Demetrius, the world around him inside the hut was basically just feeling too filled with tense emotions that it was almost suffocating to him. He knew he just had to remind himself this wasn't a dream, but the feeling still lingered in the air like a demonic feeling.

Dr. Marshal scoffed in front of the now sat up Husky warrior, leaning against the filthy cement wall and scanning the room as he was in deep thought. Kevin was escorted out by the Racoon, Gavin, and Damien decided to head outside for some air after the intense dramatic scene he's been through. Who could blame him, that's exactly what Demetrius wanted to do from the start of this whole... mistake! Demetrius felt so confused on how he would be able to take this, he was now back_to being engaged to his human fiancée, Kevin, and he didn't know whether to be excited or angry. Of course, his true gut feeling was happy because he remembers Kevin saying _finally "I love you." which in turn the Husky reacted better than what he should have.

He didn't feel like he wanted to complain about being engaged to Kevin again because the feeling finally felt right again. He was back to the decision to marry Kevin and he was sure the Human felt the same. Nothing could break them apart now...

Dr. Marshal said that Kevin's body is burning up from the stab wound he's received earlier, which in his world--the Human world--his body is at risk of dying from the rising temperature. Soon, Kevin's body in the Human world will eventually burn out, leaving Kevin stuck in the Anthro world--Demetrius' world. Which was perfect, Kevin and Demetrius would be together forever now! It's what the Husky wanted and he was sure of it now.

"You're being selfish," Dr. Marshal said, having to force himself to look at the ground so he could not look Demetrius in the eyes like a brave person, "You are only thinking of yourself and the marriage, not Kevin and how he truly feels about being married at the age of sixteen!"

Demetrius was first shocked by the Lizards response, pushing himself off of the table and standing up to show the size difference between the two to show who should be intimidated by who. Demetrius was in fact taller than the Doctor by a foot, this action was brought to Dr. Marshal's attention immediately and he managed to hold his ground against the wall, "Sorry Doctor, but as far as I'm concerned age doesn't matter in this world."

"No, but did you ever stop to think about the boy's world?" The response was cold and Demetrius' ears dropped immediately to the side of his head, his glacier blue eyes following them toward the ground.

Doctor Marshal realized what he's said and forgot he said it too harshly. He looked back up to the Husky and saw how the realization splashed all over his face like as if Dr. Marshal took a bucket of water and threw it at him. "I-I'm sorry." He said, "I shouldn't meddle into your life like how I just did. I should have just left the situation alone."

"No, I should have realized this sooner." Demetrius looked away and at the door to where Kevin just left through. "Is he actually happy?"

Of course he is! Demetrius thought, He even said he loved you! Why are you listening to him?

"I'm sure if you two sat down together, you would have the answer." Dr. Marshal pushed off the wall and escorted Demetrius to the door, with a sigh he paused as his hand rested on the door knob and his eyes stared hard at the wooden frame, "But you must hurry, his body temperature is still rising in his world, which means he may not have much time give you the answer."

As the Doctor opened the door, Demetrius stood behind him, "How much time do I have?"

"...I do not know... " He replied with dry words. "But you must know this Demetrius before it may be too late. If Kevin chooses to live in his world and dies here, then his blood will stop circulating your bond. Which means your blood connection will be no more and you and Kevin will never see each other again."

Demetrius left with a long stride.

She sat at the pub with her legs crossed, her hands around the cup of rum and her eyes staring toward the bartender, Eugene, the muscular Deer she always looks over every time she enters this bar. By the time she found Arella, he was the first male contact she'd ever met, and she even remembers the first words he said to her. "This one's on the house." With his adorable grin he passed her a cup of ale.

She assumed that the Deer already knew she fancied him, mainly for the reason of coming back to this pub every night and ordering the same thing in the same spot. He even winked at her when she entered, but since she drinks the hard liquor she sometimes cannot control her... aroused moods towards people.

A hand slammed on the table next to her cup of rum, making her jump slightly and look up at the intruder, she even noticed Eugene glancing over as well.

"We need to talk, now." Damien's cold voice was what made her sigh and gulp the rest of her drink in one go, not responding but only cringing at the slight burn--"NOW, FLARE!"

Flare looked at Eugene, who put his towel down and getting ready to kick Damien out of the pub, but she stopped him by raising her palm, looking the Tiger in the eyes cold and hard like a killer, "I told you I had this job before."

"I didn't expect you to do it so soon." It was an excuse, he knew that, but with the amount of rage building up inside him he forgot to think about the words he chose before he entered the pub. The few glances from around the spacious bar weren't that bad, but Damien was sure he could feel at least a dozen on him already.

"No," Flare said, getting up with a forceful push on Damien's chest, having him step back a few steps, "You got too attached to the damn kid. Admit it Damien, he makes Demetrius happier."

Damien had to admit that she was right and clenched his teeth in response, trying to find the words to come back at her but instead stepped forward and countered, "At least he can make someone happy, all you do is fuck anything that moves to replace the feeling of being happy!"

Her eyes widened as he said those words and glanced over at Eugene, who was clearly listening into their conversation with perked ears. She looked around and blushed, panicking at the fact that the Deer had heard that. She immediately thought of him hating her now, which really frustrated to think about.

Damien softened his gaze, his ears lowering a little to the side, "I-I'm sorry--"

He was punched, the blow catching him off guard and snapping his head backwards and towards a table, in which his body fell back and landed on the ground with a few tables knocked out of the way. As the sound of glass cups hit the ground, Damien could barely register the foot that connected to his jaw and threw his body sideways, blood spilling out of his mouth in a quick second as his face felt the concrete.

In seconds, Flare had taken down one of the Kings Warriors--Elites! This made everyone in the bar stare at them now. "You have no idea what I've been through, Damien, so don't go assuming that I'm a whore!" Her voice cracked and Damien was sure he could hear soft sobs in the middle.

Flare was crying? Flare? The Assassin, who killed people for a living, was crying. This was something Damien has never seen from her before; it was a new emotion from the Assassin that he could possibly be the first person who knew her to witness it.

But of course, it was now the foot of guilt that hit him this time. Damien just sat up and looked up at her sitting back down on the stool, Eugene passing her another cup of rum--on the house of course. As per usual, Flare was back to her old self bottled up emotion self again after her short spasm, and Damien got himself up and sat next to her as if nothing had happened. "I'm sorry."

"Save it..."

"So what's it like?"

Kevin found himself heating up even more as the Racoon asked him a confusing question, having to be leaving the hut and outside, following a path that led through a brush of bushes and trees and veering off to the left into darkness. The moon outside gave Kevin the ability to be able see where he was, and by the looks of it they were out in the back side of the hut. "What's what like? And where are we going?"

Gavin blushed and looked around, holding the Human's arm tightly and guiding him through the entrance of bushes, following the dirt path. "Love, what is it like to be loved by someone?" Kevin looked at the Racoon's sweet eyes and didn't know how to respond to someone who he assumed never felt love from someone.

"You mean how Demetrius and I--"

"Love each other," He said, cutting Kevin off and squeezing his arm for a second that Kevin had to flinch away as he felt the circulation being cut off. Gavin was surely into the romance, the sparkles in his eyes that Kevin noticed were showing his eye color in a glossy brown, which in the moonlight seemed to be a little copper rust color. It reminded Kevin of camp fire in the night, especially since he was being escorted through a forestry path which gave him the more surreal thought.

Kevin cleared his throat and looked away from those copper eyes, "Well, it's certainly unexpected."

The Racoon melted with a sigh and smiled, "Is it as magical as what the fairytales are like? I mean, you and Lord Demetrius are star struck with a unique ability to enter each other's worlds and love each other like how the fairytale characters are like. It's so... Beautiful."

Kevin couldn't help but let his mouth curve into a small smile as he looked back at Gavin, who stared blankly forward into the forest and seemed too lost in his thoughts. It reminded him of a child who wanted their life revolved around a simple romantic fairytale. It was cute.

"I guess if you put it that way, it does sound a little romantic." Kevin heaved a sigh as a heat wave went through his body like a cold shiver. "Where are we going, by the way?"

"You'll see."

With that smile, Kevin felt like he could trust the Racoon with his life. And sure enough, he was right. As they reached the end of the horizon path, Kevin's eyes was stricken with beauty. A short, circular geyser was placed in the center of the trees surrounding it, steam pouring upwards like an untamed fire in the wind. On the edges of the geyser were small, carved boulders where your back and neck would have comfort as you lay back on them, and the small amount of bubbles almost made Kevin think of a hot tub. It was beautiful, the moon even seemed to be shinning a beam of light powder blue color on the surroundings, making the trees have a new contrast of blue and green.

"With the breeze outside, the hot water will make your body temperature cool down." He was right; the weather was a little crisp outside. But Kevin seemed to not mind. He just wanted to get into it immediately.

Looking at Gavin, Kevin just had his mouth open. Which told the Racoon everything he wanted to say without even letting the words escape his mouth, "I know," Gavin said, "but let's stop talking and get you into that water so we can cool you down a bit. I can take you clothes and give you new ones, I won't look--I promise!" Kevin knew he tried to hide it but how could he miss a blushing Racoon?

As the Racoon looked turned, Kevin didn't protest as he stripped down nude and slid into the steaming hot geyser, letting all the emotions and pain slide out of his body and float away in the cool air. Gavin smiled and looked at Kevin with cheerful eyes, grabbed his clothes and bowed, excusing himself away from Kevin as he took his bath.

Kevin wasn't sure he heard him though; he closed his eyes and let the sounds of water bubbles take him into a sleep.

He was being shifted, which forced him to squeeze his eyes and groan in protest as the person moving him was lifting and pulling him. When he finally stopped moving, Kevin finally registered where he was and opened his eyes to find himself in the geyser water--but not alone.

Kevin didn't struggle as he smelt the familiar scent of that person, and instead of pulling away, he sunk his back into the soft chest fur of his Husky and laid his head onto one of his shoulders.

Demetrius let his lips come down on Kevin's shoulder and held the Human with his arms wrapped around his stomach, pulling him tighter against his naked body.

Kevin didn't mind sitting in his lap, and he certainly didn't mind when he felt his lower back touching the soft, familiar sheath. He only let his body soak in the hot water with the Husky's, feeling every breath and every heart beat through his chest and the occasional tingle of fur touching his bare legs. It was peaceful and one of the best experiences Kevin has every encountered. He didn't want it to end.

"We should talk..." Until Demetrius broke the silence with his soft voice that sounded almost like a purr.

Kevin only sighed, "I'm too tired to talk..."

"I know so let me do the talking and you can just listen."

Kevin didn't complain to that and simply grunted in response.

"Kevin, I've known you long enough to know for sure that I love you. At first I hated you when you were seen in our world, I wanted to kill you when you bumped into me and we crossed blood. I didn't want to be engaged; I never even planned for it. But knowing you, you changed that for me. You made me feel something I never knew I could feel before: Love. After all this time I'm finally realizing that I love you and you are the only one that makes me happy. And I want you to be happy too.

I want you to be happy, even if you choose to live in your world. With everyone you know and love there. I don't want this to be a hard decision for you because I'll always love you for whatever you choose. And I promise, if you choose your world, then I will never forget you... and I will find a way to get to your world and get you back into my arms again. No matter how long that will take, I will find you... Because... I love you."

Kevin was awake now and didn't hesitate when he spun his upper body around to press his lips to his warriors, pushing his tongue into the others mouth and letting Demetrius understand Kevin heard the whole thing. Demetrius tasted salt and pulled away from the intensity they were sharing, noticing hot tears streaming down those puffy cheeks. Demetrius smiled lightly and wiped them away, pushing his muzzle back to those sweet salty lips.

Kevin shifted himself to turn himself around and straddle the Husky's legs, resting his arms around his neck and deepening the kiss further. It was like Kevin forgot where he was now and he didn't really care either, he was kissing Demetrius in a steamy, wet and droopy kiss and feeling himself getting tingly in his pelvic region. Demetrius, too, also liked this as Kevin's sac felt the hard shaft of Demetrius' hard member. It was almost like Kevin wasn't really doing this, but he knew for fact he was when he and the Husky broke from their kiss and felt a tongue lick down his neck and chest and nip at his nipple hungrily. Kevin squirmed and tried to keep himself from getting too loud as he was afraid to let someone hear him. Demetrius was being a tease, and Kevin hated it so much right now as he felt those padded paws roam around Kevin's back and finally rest on his two lower cheeks, squeezing and toying around with them to see if he could get a reaction.

And he did. Kevin chirped through a bit lip and jumped a little on the Husky's lap, rubbing his--now hard--erection against the stomach fur of Demetrius and feeling the most arousing sensation tickle the head of his member. Kevin heaved a heavy sigh and leaned into the feeling, which told Demetrius where to attack next.

Lifting Kevin by the hips, Demetrius rotated their bodies so that Kevin was now sitting on the hot rocks, his legs splayed wide open for his eyes to look over that aching hard, wet member. The smell overtook his nostrils immediately, smelling its musky scent and even a little pre mixed in there as well, which made the Husky even more hungry to taste it all. He let his hands rub up the Human's thighs and slid them back down, dragging them back up the inner side and grabbing Kevin's sac in one paw and grabbing the bottom of his shaft in the other. The feel of it in his hands was sized just right, and to Kevin, it felt all too good that he had to lean back and let his head fall back, gasping for the air he's let escape from his mouth.

Demetrius smirked his husky grin and dove in, letting his tongue slide over the head and dipping his mouth over the hard, salty member. Kevin gasped and moaned in approval, squirming his legs and balling grass into his fists as he grounded himself. The Husky was good at giving a blowjob, in fact, he had practice on Kevin before the last time they had sexual contact, but this time it felt like Demetrius had gotten better.

His head bobbed up and down in fluid motions, letting his tongue glide along the hard shaft and twist and suck around the top, feeling Kevin's squirming.

"Demetrius..." He breathed and pushed the Husky away from his member, feeling the arousing burn build up in his shaft dying down now. Demetrius was close to making Kevin blow, and he wasn't ready yet. Not now.

Demetrius looked up with love sparkling in his eyes, licking his lips and tasting the pre in his mouth. "Sorry, got into it I guess."

Kevin laughed and pulled Demetrius into a kiss, letting those warm paws explore his back and feeling the hard shaft being pushed against his own hard member. Demetrius moaned his throaty growl, breaking the kiss and staring into Kevin's eyes with his glacier blue ones, lust glinting in them like as if the moonlight reflecting off the water was shinning into his eyes. It was so... mesmerizing.

Kevin smiled and Demetrius couldn't help but grin like idiot as he adjusted his hard shaft to Kevin's wet hole, looking into his eyes as he slowly pushed forward and breaking the seal closing the hole. Kevin wanted to gasp but forgot how to breathe as Demetrius slowly shoved himself all the way into Kevin, the tightness inside almost wanted to make the Husky collapse into water but instead leaned forward, standing his body weight on the ground beside Kevin's hips and pressing his dry muzzle to his, moving his hips in and out. The Human below moaned into the kiss, tensing his entire body so he could hold himself from screaming out a loud cry. It didn't hurt--in fact, it felt too good that he wanted to cry out in pleasure.

The warmth of the water and the body heat inside Kevin was increasing, but he didn't want it to stop as Demetrius increased the speed of his hips, pushing his hard shaft into him and feeling his sac pound against his rear, splashes from the water flying between their legs and sides.

"I love you..." The Husky moaned out, "I really do, I love you so much."

He kissed Kevin and pushed harder,_thwap thwap thwap--_and finally, Demetrius moaned loud through Kevin's soft cries and ejaculated his warm seed into the tightness surrounding his cock, greedily pushing it deeper inside to claim the pleasure he craved for.

"Demetri!" The Husky looked down at Kevin who had his hand on his member, watching as his hand movements made him come to a climax as well and seeing the seed shooting across his stomach.

Breathless, the two lovers stood still, hearing the sound of the crickets chirping and the trees rustling in the background.

"I love you..." Kevin hugged the Husky's naked body and remained still, the hard shaft still in place inside him.

"Tell me, how does that boy get into our world in the first place?"

Humphrey smiled and stood next to King Alexander who sat proudly on his throne chair. His straight posture was as casual as ever, "I do recall Lord Demetrius saying when he and the boy sleep they seem to travel between our two worlds."

"But how does that happen?"

"There could be a lot of explanations, my Lord, but this too even baffles me. I fear we may never know." Humphrey was always the one who had the answer for the King, which in this case actually surprised Alexander.

"Well it doesn't matter now. The boy should be dead by now, so the problem is out of the way." The King sat back with triumph on his face, clasping his fingers in front of his face and looked around his throne room.

"Uh, sire," Humphrey hesitated but continued, "What about Lady Krystella's and Lord Demetrius' mother. Shouldn't she be expecting a fiancée?"

"I already thought of it, Humphrey, we'll just simply tell the truth. She died by an assassination." He grinned and looked pleased in his thinking.

"But... Lord Demetrius was engaged to a boy."

"I know this. But Demetrius will keep shut; I know he will considering it's his mother we're talking about. No mother would want to hear their child is a bugger."

Humphrey was shocked on how he thought the King was right; this plan may actually work after all.

"So the boy survived?"

"Yep, he did surprisingly." Damien sat with his drink and never made eye contact with Flare. She sat next to him on the stool and stared at Eugene's body, picturing his arms around her and kissing her forehead.

"Well then, it seems like I failed on getting my money." Too bad, too, it was a lot of money.

"Yeah, sucks doesn't it." Damien knew he was making small talk, but he was only focusing on his drink right now to care.

"I'm going to leave Arella tonight."

That caught his attention and he finally looked at her, his ears flopping to the sides, "What?" He spun on the stool to face her, "Your leaving? Why?" He didn't understand why he was caring since she stabbed Kevin, but his friend self took over and was saddened by this.

"Because I've over stayed my welcome here, time to move on." She sighed and put her empty drink down on the bar.

Damien noticed the twitch in Eugene's ears and continued, "Are you sure? Going to take your career with you, too?"

"I'm giving that up too. I think it's time to settle down." She was in a gaze, her face was blank and boring but her voice held all the emotion.

Damien sighed and looked outside. "Then let me buy you a drink." He waved Eugene over and he came to them in seconds. "Rum for the lady here, make it strong."

Eugene tensed his body and poured the rum into her cup, "If I may interrupt..." He looked at Flare, who blushed as he made direct eye contact with her, "I overheard you say that you were leaving Arella?"

She nodded, "Y-yea...?"

"Well, if I may, do you know where you are planning on going?"

"No..." She blushed harder and looked away.

"Well, my father has opened a restaurant a few miles out of the kingdom and has asked me to move down to help him. We are looking for workers and are in need of assistance down there. Would you care to join me...?" He was blushing! Damien smirked and looked at Flare who stared back again with her embarrassed eyes, it appeared she couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Besides, you're a wonderful customer to me and I enjoy your presence."

Flare smiled and leaned over the counter, pressing her sweet lips to Eugene's and kissing those lips she's been craving for. Damien was at first shocked by her sudden change in attitude, but smiled afterward. He knew his friend Flare was leaving, and all he could think about is if she would be safe since she would be giving up her profession. The world was a scary place, especially for a woman to be walking out there alone. She may have been an assassin, but still the thought worried him. But after seeing this in front of him he knew Eugene would be there to take care of her. His smile was brighter now.

She'll be fine.

"So... How much time do I have left to decide?"

Kevin asked as Demetrius had his arms wrapped around him inside the water, the night breeze was calm and soothing for them as they cuddled in the water. Demetrius has just finished explaining to Kevin that he has to decide whether he wants to stay in Arella with him or go back into his world with his family, which was a hard decision to make but it had to be made quickly before he loses his last chance.

"No one knows... but with your body heat rising in your world, you risk dying there. Meaning you'll be stuck here." Demetrius squeezed Kevin, feeling a ball inside his throat and a slight burn in his eyes but willed himself not to cry now. Showing that emotion may make Kevin feel bad and decide to stay. "Is that what you want?"

Kevin took a minute to answer, which made the silence seem a little awkward to the Husky as he felt the weight in his stomach make him want to be sick. The suspense, the shaking of his breath, all was seemingly increasing as the night breeze blew by, "I... I can't choose. I want to be with both."

"You have to..." He choked, "You're going to run out of time if you don't choose--"

"How can I choose to be with the one I love and my world when all I want to do is be with both!?" Kevin yelled through grit teeth and leaned his head on Demetrius' shoulder. "Demetri, I love you, I really do. I want to spend my life with you so much because you've shown me another side of myself that I thought would never be shown. I thought being gay was wrong in so many ways, but you've shown me that I can be with you and it wouldn't hurt anyone. But then there's my family in my world, my schoolmates, my teachers, my bed, my reality! I don't want to leave that because it's what made me into who I am. I was raised into that world!" Kevin sighed and looked up at the night sky, breathing heavily and feeling the soft fur on his back make him comfortable and sleepy. "What do you think I should do?"

Demetrius followed his gaze into the stars and sighed, knowing well what Kevin should do and seeing what Dr. Marshal was saying all over again. If Demetrius told Kevin to stay, it'd be the most selfish thing he could possibly do. Not to mention he would be ruining Kevin's life in his own world, where he belonged. "I think you should be with your family..."

Kevin turned his head and looked into the Husky's eyes, his ears flopped down to the sides and dripping from the water, "But..."

Demetrius kissed Kevin lightly, "I know... I want to be with you as well. But this is tearing you from your world and I don't want you to decide over me and your world. It's selfish..."

"Demetrius..."

Demetrius kissed Kevin again, "Know this though, I WILL find you, and I WILL get you back. I won't stop looking for a way to get back into your world if you choose to go back. Just give me time and we'll be back to the way it'd used to be. I promise."

Kevin felt a tear go down his eye and a sob escape his throat, "Promise?"

Demetrius kissed him deeply this time, "Promise..." Now Demetrius was crying, though he hoped Kevin wouldn't be able to tell and prayed that he thought it was just the water, "I love you, and you'll always be within my heart."
