Choice(Balance)-Arc 2"Trust" part 10
Kay and the others were transported to the outskirts of the estate.Class delivered them to safety,and was un harmed.Class was panting.
"Alright...We should be fine...I can see my place from here so...No morries."
She says,exhausted.Kyle comes to her aid.
"Are you okay?"
He asks.Class nodds,and gets up slowly.
"Yeah.But I'm more worried about those 2."
She responds,looking at Kay and Alan.Kay was far from alright.He was on his knees,and was frustrated.
"Damn it...I...I almost had him.But..I still can't control my power.I couldn't even keep the promise of a friend.I'm so weak and stupid.Lucifer is wrong...I'm not a savior...I'm just a loser."
Kay says with a sad expression.Kyle and Class kept looking at him with pitty.
"Kay."
Kyle says under his breath.Alan approaches Kay...He punches him,and snapped him out of his self loathing.
"STOP IT!! Stop doubting yourself!! You said you almost had him...But what about our promise that we would do everything together as a team!!? Stop taking on the burden yourself,and let me in!!! You're not a loser!!"
Alan continued to shout.Kyle and Class continued to look at Kay who now had a pitiful look on his face.But it wasn't of sadness,it was more of understanding.Alan then began to sob.
"You're a strong and nice person...You're my guardian angel...You're our friend.So,if fighting dad means that I'll have to lose you too,then I won't do it."
Alan says as he continues to cry.Kay looks at him with concern.
"Alan...I'm sorry."
Kay apologizes.Class grins a little at Kay.
"Well...What do you say you 2 get some rest? You look exhausted."
Class says.Kay looks at her and nodds.
"Yeah.We are pretty tired."
Kay responds.Alan wipes his face,and nodds.
"Mmhm."
He says.Kyle,feeling guilty,flicks his glasses and looks at the both of them.
"Alan.I'm sorry.I knew that Lucifer was going to be here,but I did nothing to stop it.Please forgive me."
Kyle says,frowning.Class comes over to comfort him.
"It's okay,love.What matters is that they're safe and sound,right?"
Class says.Kyle was still frowning,but nodds a little.
"Yeah.I guess."
He says.
"We should be hitting the sac too.It's been a long night."
She says.She walks away,and turns around to wave goodbye.Kay waves back,and continues to sit down.Alan still kept a frown on.Kyle looks back at he 2.
"Are you guys gonna be okay?"
He asks.Kay gets up,and nodds.
"Yeah.We just need some rest,that's all.Right Alan?"
Kay says.Alan looks back at Kay with a slight grin.He nodds as well.
"Yeah."
He responds.Kyle grins at them both.
"Alright.Again,I'm sorry about this whole mess."
Kyle says.Kay grins at him,and approaches him.
"Don't worry about it...Look I'll see you tomorrow,okay?"
Kay says.Kyle smiles back and they tapped fists.Kyle started to leave,leaving Kay and Alan to walk home themselves.They continued on,and got to Kay's house.It was deserted like always,but they didn't care.They headed straight upstairs.Kay collapses on his bed and Alan sits next to him.
"I'm sorry I lied to you Alan.I just didn't want to put the burden on you to fight your own father."
He says as he lays down.Alan looks at him,and frowns.
"Kay.Anyone can see how evil he is.Actually,while I was living with him in Hell,killing him,crossed my mind a little."
He says in a sad expression.Kay lifts his head up and looks at Alan,concerned.
"Alan."
He says,quietly.
"He treats everyone and everything like his puppet.He's heartless.So I'm gonna stay by your side and stop him.Okay?"
Alan grins.Kay nodds,and grins back.
"So...What do you think we should tell Old man?"
Kay asks.It was quiet for a second.Then they bothe sighed,knowing what was to come.
"You did what!!?"
Doctrene shouts at Kay and Alan as they were sitting,and frowning.
"I...Faced Lucifer alone last night."
Kay confesses.Doctrene closes his eyes,and calms a little.
"Why would you do such a reckless thing?"
He asks.Kay looks up at him.
"Because...I thought I was ready,but my emotions still weren't in control yet.I'm sorry I was careless."
Kay apologizes.Doctrene opens his eyes,and looks at the 2.
"You two are very troublesome,you know that? Well no matter.There have no been portal sightings lately,so that's a plus on our side."
Doctrene says.Kay was confused.
"Wait,really? But how?"
He asks.
"Lucifer was occupied with you at the moment,remember?"
Doctrene says.
"So dad controls where demons will appear?"
Alan asks.Doctrene nodds.
"Yes.It's no mere coincidence that the number of demons have shortened while Lucifer was out.In conclusion,he can make demons appear when,and where ever he wants them to."
Doctrene explains.Kay clenches his fists.
"Damn it.This whole thing is so frustrating."
He says.
"What is?"
Alan asks.
"We haven't been doing much to stop him.We've been defending for a while,and I feel that we can't really do anything until we bring the fight to him."
Kay says.Doctrene thinks for a while.
"Yeah.I agree with you.Just fighting him off here won't be enough."
Alan says.Doctrene was still thinking,then he opens his eyes.
"Hmmm.Indeed.We must come up with a different tactic."
Doctrene says.Kay then has a thought,and stands up.
"Hey.We might be able to jump through a portal right?"
He says.Alan looks at him.
"How can we do that though? Won't the aura coming out of the portal hurt us?"
Alan asks.Kay scratches his head.
"Yeah,you have a point."
He says.Doctrene continues to think.
"Old man? Can you think of anything?"
Kay asks.Doctrene opens his eyes again.
"I can assist with the aura problem."
He says.Kay and Alan both look at him in confusion.
"Really?"
Alan says.Doctrene nodds.
"My sword: Kalazaruse.It's aura is pure.So I can cancel out any demonic aura that will hurt us."
He explains.Kay and Alan smiles.
"Really!? Alright!"
Kay says in an excited tone.
"But we still have no idea on how to handle our assault when we land there.We have no means of attack.If we are going in,we need a plan to execute so that we can cripple his kingdom once and for all."
Doctrene proclaims.The 3 sat,thinking on their plan.Alan started to think about the towers around Hell he saw a while ago.
"I've got it.I knew those towers seemed familiar."
Alan says.Kay and Doctrene looks at him.
"Hm? What,what is it?"
Kay asks.
"The towers...The Torch Towers around Hell.That's it's weakness."
Alan says.
"Torch Towers?"
Doctrene asks.Alan nodds.
"It's a pretty faint memory,but I remember my dad telling me how important those towers were.He said that they act as an energy supply to Hell,and keeps it's power in balance."
Alan says.
"So.if we take out the towers,it might drain the place of it's energy?"
Kay says.
"That's how it seems."
Doctrene says.Kay nodds and smiles at Alan.
"Alright Alan.Your memory isn't bad at all."
Kay says.
"Why would it?"
Alan responds.Doctrene looks at the 2.
"Now that we have a plan,we must execute it tonight to cause less commotion.Get prepared.Timing is of the essence."
Doctrene proclaims.Kay and Alan nodds.
"Hey Alan.Let's go tell the others.We'll need all the help we can get."
Kay says.Alan nodds.
"Right."
Alan says.They head off to inform their friends of the assault.
