thomas woke up and sat up, slowly rubbing his eyes. a flash had startled him as he looked around, the fimaliar barren land that again surrounded him. thomas looked around for the dragon he had met before. standing up, he walked forward, the brief flashes in the sky that had no thunder behind them, starteling him at random times.
then he felt the ground rumble once as he turned around, seeing the dragon he had met once before.
... and again he heard words.... but the dragon's muzzle stayed compleatly still.
"welcome back, young one" the dragon greeted, sitting in the same position he sat in last time.
"hello"
"well you sound better than you did before" the dragon said with a slight smile on his muzzle
"well... you know why..."
"yes.... the mateing between the human and the vampire..."
"y-yeah... but i never mated with the vampire.... yet..."
" so have you accepted your orientation?"
the fox slowly nodded " y-yeah..."
"well... and it seems that you are here once more.... is there anything you would like to know?"
thomas began to think" well.... i want to know why i only meet you here..."
"that is because i have no real body where you are." the dragon said
" so your a spirit then?"
"in terms... yes"
"and your always watching me?"
the dragon nodded" to make sure you dont do anything unreasonable, and for your safety"
"safety?... how will you keep me safe if your a spirit?"
" you will see when the time comes."
" okay...so i must ask now... are you... ya'know.... like me?"
"hmmm?... in what terms?"
"orientation wise"
" hmm... cant say im not... just for the reason i haven't tried it... with eather gender. "
" o-oh...okay..."
" are you asking me to mate with you?"
thomas could feel his face flush with red as he looked away " n-no.... unless you want too..."
" well i wouldn't mind" the dragon said " but not now... remember this... ask questions and you will get anwsers"
thomas looked at the dragon " okay"
" and again our time is cut short... Das Vindanya once again, thomas" the dragon said as he held up his paw, a low yellow light surrounding the keaton as thomas sheilded his eyes with his left forearm.

"thomas!"
thomas woke up to the acolyte shakeing him "w-what?"
" the vampire is not here!!"
thomas sat up and looked around, seeing that the acolyte was right, also seeing the orange sky above "d-do you know where he is?"
" no... i woke up and didn't see him... we can make our escape now if we hurry!"
"you know we cant... he'll just hunt us down and punish us"
" still... what if we do get away?"
" then i dont know... i could go home... but you...."
" i can find my own living."
" well... seeing how im up... lets continue up the path... i feel like something is going to happen soon..."
" how can you tell?"
" i dont know... i just feel it"
"a-are you sure?"
thomas stood up and stood next to the acolyte."yep..."
the two began to walk, continueing were they had left off. the acolyte hugged the keaton from behind as they walked, now walking insinc as they continued down the path. the acolyte began to hum as his head rested on the keaton's left shoulder, his right arm over the keaton's right shoulder and his hand rested on the keaton's chest.
the keaton found the humming soothing as they walked, but so soothing that tiredness beat at the keaton's eyes.
"hey boris?"
" yes?"
" could you stop humming please... its makeing me tired..."
"okay"
"thank you"
the acolyte kissed the keaton's cheek in responce,makeing thomas blush and chuckle.
the narrowway seemed to go on forever in the one direction they were going. as they look down the narrowway, there seemed to be no end. the sun was about to vanish behind the horizion and darkness would soon loom over them.
"hey... its getting dark again" boris said still clinging to the keaton.
"yeah... and there is still no sign of silas"
"silas?"
" the vampire... i learned his name yesterday"
" huh... okay"
thomas stopped to a brown dot in the road above them "hey... do you see that?"
"y-yeah... what is it?"
" i dont know... and its comming at us pretty fast"
they both stood there as they watched the brown dot grow a little bit bigger. thomas saw the dot beginning to morph into a figure as it got closer, seeing ears, a large poofy tail, plus brown and tan stripes all over the body.
and it was approching at them at an alarming rate. then behind it thay saw a silver figure appear. it seemed to turn into a lizardman as it approched behind a ferret looking creature. he was wearing what looked like to be sliver coat.
the small creature came bounding up and jumped on the keaton, bounding up to his shoulder. "help me please!!" the creature pleadded.
thomas saw the lizardman holding a sword as it had no intention of stopping, it charging at them full force.
thomas then herd a voice ( let me help, sword play is my favorite)
thomas knew that voice... it was the dragon. thomas nodded and his body went limp.his body came back to life, but he had no control over it. the keaton grabbed the ferret and handed him to the acolyte. the acolyte took the creature into his arms and watched as thomas (now the dragon) stood in the way of the lizardman's path, with his paws even behind his back! the lizard man roared out and ran even faster, closeing the distance in between him and the fox, both of his paws gripped on the hilt of the glowing sword, death in his eyes.
thomas stepped to the side as the enemy raised his sword and and brought it down again, missing the fox compleatly as he stopped. thomas stepped on the sword near the hilt and pushed down, pushing the sword out of the lizard's paws.the lizard looked up at keaton, the keaton's forearm connecting with the lizard's throat, makeing him cough as he fell back, landing on his back. thomas quickly grabbed the sword and put his right foot on the lizard's chest, pinning him to the ground as he put the tip of the green glowing blade to his neck.
and with one push, the blade was inserted to the lizard's neck and the ground below, thomas watching the life fade from the lizard's eyes, and the blood gush out past the blade.
thomas felt all feeling come back as the dragon said. (without mercy)
thomas let go of the sword as he backed away from the dead body,eyes wide open.
"w-wow... thomas... that was amazeing!"
"y-y-yeah...."
" thank you so much!!!" the little ferret said as he jumped out of the acolyte's arms and onto the keaton's right shoulder.
"y-yeah..."
" hey... you okay?" the acolyte asked, now standing next to him, a hand on the keaton's left shoulder
"y-yeah...."
thomas could do nothing as stared at the dead body, a sence of fear wrapped around him.
"we need to get him out of here" the ferret said
the acolyte nodded and pushed thomas forward, continueing on down the path.the acolyte turned and quickly grabbed the hilt of the sword, pulling it out of the body and the ground. thomas looked like he was one of the living dead, due to how big his eyes still were.
" hey thomas... it will be fine... you did it in protection" the acolyte said in a somewhat cheerful voice.
thomas didn't anwser back... he couldn't... the image of the body clung to his mind.
"maybe you need to slap him... that always works" the ferret said
" may be so..." they stopped walking as the acolyte stood infront of the keaton
and audiable slap could be herd as thomas come back to life "h-huh?"
" thank god... it did work!"
"see! i told you!" the ferret said with happyness
thomas felt his cheek sting abit as he looked at the acolyte infront of him" t-thank you..."
"dont worry about it... im just glad your back" the acolyte said, kissing the tip of the keaton's nose.
the keaton smiled as he looked at the ferret " and who are you, by the way?"
" my name is zachi"
" well.. i never met a ferret before"
" im not a ferret... im a furret"
" a furret?"
" yep... one of a kind too!"
" hmmm? how so?"
" well, i can travel through time!"
" bah! i dont belive that" the katon said as he noticed a small black bag that hung around the furret's neck. " whats in the bag?"
" just a device... that isn't working right now"
" hmm? let me see" the acolyte said
"N-NO!.... i cant..."
" why not?" boris asked
" cause... i cant..."
"okay" the acolyte said
thomas looked at the acolyte " dont worry, we will find out in time"
boris nodded " alright"
thomas pulled boris into a tight hug and didn't let go. boris smiled as he rested his head on top of the fox's, petting the back of thomas's head. thomas felt the furret scamper down his back and onto the ground. thomas let go of the acolyte and turned around, lookeing down at the furret
"what is a furret excatly?" thomas asked
" a type of pokemon "
" pokemon? "
"pokemon is short for pocket monster... a type of animal that has certin talents, or "moves" we call them"
" huh? other than 'travel through time'..." thomas said as he did the whole quoatations thing with his paws "... what else can you do then?"
"n-nothing...." the furret said as sadness enterd his eyes ".... all the others can do...like... fire punch and other things we as a speiceses can do... but i cant do any of it"
" awe... im sorry zachi" boris said as he picked up the furret and craddled him in his arms
" but i will be fine" zachi said as he cuddled closer to the acolyte " i mean after all... with you guys around... i will be safe after all till i get this thing charged" he said as he fiddled with the black pouch hangging on his neck.
" so you comming with us?" the acolyte asked
the furrte nodded quickly "yep!"
" oh... silas might not like this..."
" silas?...."
" yeah... were're being held captive by a vampire.... who is not here right now..."
" a vampire??!!"
" yeah... and boris over there is a summoning by him..."
the acolyte nodded as zachi looked at him." oh... wow... this must be hard for both of you"
"well... yeah... but the real reason im being held captive is to be use by death when he is summoned so he can free all of the other vampires and use my body to pass on the curse to the other people in these lands."
" oh no... i had come in the beginning of the vampire era..."
" beginning?" thomas said
" yeah... the future is controled by vampires... with high technology..."
"technology?"
" yes, the future is full of it... and vampire utlize it to fill there needs... like the one i have in my bag, and the one you have in your hand" zachi said as he looked at the acolyte
" i see... and you did come from the future right?" boris asked
the furre nodded" yeah... and if im correct... you must be thomas" the furret said, looking at the keaton.
"y-yes... how did you know?"
" your in the history books on how you were possesed by death himself..." zachi then looked back at the acolyte " and you were the sacrfice to begin the end of the world"
" i-im... going to be sacrificed??!!" the acolyte said as he looked at the keaton
"no... no... that cant happen!" the keaton said, rushing to the acolyte, hugging him.
" but there is something else you should know... and if im correct... the ritual dosen't happen for another four months"
" four months... how come?"
" the only vampire in this time period is said to have dissapperd for two months... but when he came back... he hunted you both down and did as he planned... you two never seperated... and now i know why you two never left each other's side..."
" what do you now know?" thomas asked
" you two are in love with each other" zachi said as he looked away, blushing.
