Author's note: Hello everyone, I'm back! Months behind schedule, and a bit longer than intended, but its here! I hope that this latest installment of "Bioshock" was worth the wait and as always comments and constructive criticism are welcome.

Also I would like to thank my friend Matt1 for helping me edit this story, and encouraging me to do my best. Thanks man!

PS: Okay... typing this long after having originally typed this story and series. I originally started off with this just to see if writing a story was any fun. It was. However I really hadn't put much thought into this series, and because of that it suffered greatly. Pacing, plot development, character development, and relationships were all... well crap. This series has a TON of flaws.

However, I am continuing it eventually as I had a lot of fun writing this, but I won't be treating it as a serious work, just as a series to experiment, and see what kind of whacked up craziness I can come up with.

If you want to read something that I AM taking seriously, and am putting effort into pacing, plot development, etc. then check out my other series, Chronicles of an End. I think I did a fairly good job on it so far, but holy hell does it need a new title...

Well thats enough rambling, on with the story!

Bioshock and its characters, story, and scenario belong to the Irrational games, 2K corporations, and any other companies I may have forgotten about.

Bioshock Chapter 6 - Interrupted Revelations

I stumble into my apartment and slam the door behind me, glad to finally be home after a long day of work. I drop my bag onto the table, taking a moment to stretch out my blue wings before plopping myself on my worn but comfortable couch. Taking a deep breath I feel my muscles loosen and my mind begin to wander, relaxing from a long day. Then my phone startled me out of my thoughts with its obnoxious ringing. Sighing, I take the infernal device out of my pocket and answer the call.

"Hello?" I ask annoyed.

"Jeremy... the fire hurts..." an agonized voice groans through my phone. "Please make it stop..."

The lights in my apartment suddenly went out, and my phone crumbled into ashes. I jump up in shock, frantically looking for the light switch on the wall while fear works its way into my mind. My scaled hands grope across the barriers of my home for a moment and eventually find the switch. I flip it and light reappears in the room, but the light was flickering, as if it were from a candle.

"Jeremy... it burns," a voice says from behind me. The same voice I'd heard on the phone. I turn around fear coursing through me, and when I see the being that had uttered those words I let out a scream of pure terror. It was Alex. He was burning

The fur on the top half of his body was almost completely burned off, with only small patches lingering on his torso. His skin was on fire, and in places there was no skin at all.

"Why...? Why did you set me on fire?" The flaming wolf said in a voice full of agony as he took a step towards me. "I thought you were my friend... why would you make me suffer like this...?" I was frozen in place, unable to move, as Alex took another step towards me where he gave a wail of pure pain and crumbled to ash right before my eyes.

Fear and panic begin to take hold from what I'd just seen, and the only thought in my mind was to flee, to run in the opposite direction and to not stop moving until I was certain that I was safe or had passed out from exhaustion. Turning away from the pile of ashes that had once been my friend, I take a step and stop. I wasn't in my apartment anymore.

The panic I felt doubled as I noticed that the area around me was on fire and full of bodies. It looked as though it was once a park and would be a nice place to visit, but now it was all burning. On the ground in front of me was a battered old sign with faded words. The only one I could make out was "Arcadia". Then the bodies began to move.

I stumble back as pure panic engulfs my mind and I hear the agonized moans of the creatures stumbling towards me. Some had numerous bullet wounds, some were being scorched by flames racing across their bodies, and the rest were being shocked by bolts of electricity that were coursing through them. All of them should have been dead from their wounds, but they still shuffled towards me.

Then they began to speak. Their voices blended together in a melody of agonized moans, a symphony of pain, a chorus of the damned. I recognized all of their faces, I heard them groaning in anguish, and I understood what each and every one of them were saying.

"Why did you shoot me..." "I was just trying to stay alive..."

"You murderer..."

"Please make the pain stop..."

I turned and ran as fast as I could, terror and panic giving me speed. After every step, after every door, after every turn, more and more of these pained souls appeared and added their tortured voices to the deafening chorus of those that were following me.

I ran, and I ran and I ran, until every breath hurt, and I was just stumbling along. I made no progress. Every turn I took, every door I charged through, every hallway I sprinted down always lead me back to the place I had started. With every step my fear grew, and with every step the mob of corpses got closer and closer to their prey.

The horde following me seemed to glide across the ground, covering a distance I sprinted down, in the same time with a leisurely stroll. I continued to run for what felt like hours, before finally collapsing onto the ground in exhaustion. My pursuers formed a circle around me and then began to speak, and scream, and groan, in an increasingly loud wail of agony.

"Why did you kill us...?"

"Why did you cause us this pain...?"

"Why won't you let us go...?"

Fear and panic welled up inside me, along with a black mountain of guilt. I had killed them. I was the cause of their suffering. I was the one who had orchestrated their torture.

"I didn't want to kill you!" I shouted back at the mob of corpses, as they slowly marched up to me. Arms reached out to claim me, to drag me into their world of pain. A hell I had created. The hell where I belonged.

I woke up gasping for breath, fear and confusion racing through me as my confused mind didn't recognize its surroundings. Why wasn't I in my apartment? Why are their fish going past the window? Why is their lightning on my left...? Oh!

The events of the last few days finally worked their way into my mind and I remembered where I was. I was at the bottom of the ocean in what was once a thriving metropolis that had now become a ruin overrun by its now insane inhabitants. Now that I thought about it, it really seemed stupid for us to come down here as only one of us had combat training, at first we'd had know idea how to shut this place down, and we'd narrowly escaped death numerous times now. At least Marli and I had become mates; that was the good that had come out of the situation. I was still naked from out bit of "fun" last night, and speaking of Marli where was she?

I heard an electric cackling noise on the side of the bed and curiously look over to find Marli twitching on the ground with her tail straight out, and her fur stiff with electricity as small blue bolts darted around her body.

"Oh shit!" I yell in concern as Marli stops twitching and her muscles relax. "Are you okay? What happened?"

"You shocked me you ass!" Marli managed to gasp.

"What are you talking about?" I asked while helping her to her paws.

"I woke up to you groaning in your sleep, when suddenly lightning came out of your claws and shocked me!" She growled angrily at me, flames appearing in one of her paws.

"Holy crap! I'm so sorry! I was having a nightmare! Are you okay?" I ask frantically.

"Yea, I'm okay." She replied calming down. "That just really hurt!"

"Oh thank god!" The flames die out in her paw as I draw her into a loving embrace, glad that I hadn't caused any major damage. I could have stood there for years with her head on my shoulder, my prehensile reptilian tail wrapped around her soft fluffy one, her fur brushing smoothly against my scales. I never wanted to let her go, and I slowly opened my wings and wraped them around us. The beautiful fox in my embrace gave small murrs of contentment, while I let out a small hiss of happiness. No matter what else happened down here, I knew that I would make it out alive and sane as long as I had Marli at my side.

We stood there in Jeffry's extra bedroom for at least a half-hour just holding each other, blissfully unaware of where we were until we heard a door get kicked open. Disengaging from out embrace we grab our weapons and open the door to the main room of Jeffry's apartment where we see a rather large male raccoon walking in with a shotgun.

"All right! Looks like I found a new home!" The raccoon said, not noticing Marli and I looking at him.

"Not too shabby either." The raccoon went on to himself. "Good carpet, kitchen over there looks good, nice view of the ocean, working turrets... wait-" His sentence was cut off as Jeffry's turrets began spewing bullets toward the intruder. The raccoon turned and tried to run out the door, but before he had taken a step over forty rounds had pegged him in the back causing him to fall onto the ground in a pool of blood.

Marli and I stood frozen at what we had just seen, and we both remembered who we were letting shelter us and how he was just as unhinged as any other denizen of Rapture. The turrets fired for a more seconds, effectively reducing the dead raccoon to a pile of bloody chunks before their barrels slowed and the bullets stopped. I felt sick to my stomach at the sight before me. Sure I had killed other splicers, but I hadn't obliterated their remains like these turrets had.

"Oh... my... god..." Marli gasps staring at the pile of meat on the ground. I see a flash of purple as another being runs into the room, stopping at the heap of gore. I aim my Thomson at him, only to recognize Jeffry's ridiculous hair.

"WELL GOOD MORNING!" he yells at us, with a very large grin. He had a few boxes with him which he set down in the kitchen, and then closed the door to his home.

"I TOOK CARE OF MUNCHIES... and you two are naked." Suddenly his voice became enraged and he yelled, "DID THAT DEAD GUY STEAL YOUR CLOTHES?" The now crazed splicer ran over to the dead raccoon and picked up what was left of its head. "WHERE'D YOU PUT THEIR STUFF?!? TELL ME YOU BASTARD!" Marli and I looked at him in shock as Jeffry proceeded to repeatedly punch the dead raccoon.

"Should we do something?" I hiss at Marli.

"No, we should just let him work it out of his system. I don't want him coming after us." She whispers back.

We slowly backed into the bedroom, and closed the door as softly as we could. Marli and I found our clothes and slipped them on while we listened to Jeffry scream obscenities at a corpse. I was slipping a boot over my clawed foot-paw, when I heard Jeffry start screaming louder than before.

"I MUST LEARN TO KILL WHAT IS ALREADY DEAD!" Yelled Jeffry's voice, followed by thud as something hit a wall. I burst out laughing at this, while Marli gave me a strange look.

"Oh come on," I hiss between fits of laughter, "don't look at me like that. You know that was hilarious!"

"Actually I found that pretty disturbing. Now I'm thinking we should do something before he destroys his apartment, or hurts himself." She replied, sounding a bit worried.

"Okay then what should we do?"

"Hopefully he'll calm down when he sees us dressed" "And if he doesn't?"

"Umm, stun him?"

"That would just piss him off."

"Well its better than me setting him on fire!"

"DIE YOU DEAD ASSHOLE!" yelled Jeffry. This scream wound up ending our argument as I saw that he wasn't going to stop anytime soon.

"Okay, Jeremy open the door and I'll get his attention." She orders me.

"You sure?"

"Just do it!" she growls back

"Okay..." I reply reluctantly opening the door. Marli then runs out calling Jeffry's name trying to get his attention. The crazed human just ignored her and continued pounding on the pile of gore. I step out and gave a deafening draconic roar, and Jeffry even ignored that!

"OW! Warn me before your roar like that!" Marli growled angrily, her paws over her ears.

"Sorry, I can't believe he ignored that!" I grumbled in frustration as Jeffry continued to destroy the dead raccoon, shouting rather creative insults the whole time.

"Okay, Jeremy go ahead and stun him."

"Alright, let's hope he doesn't try to kill us." I take aim and blast a bolt of electricity out of my clawed hand, hitting Jeffry square in the chest where his punches froze, and he began to twitch as the electricity stunned him for the moment. I went up to the twitching human to try and explain what happened, when he suddenly recovered from the stunning effects of my electro bolt faster than anyone had before, and his hands became coated in ice.

Ohhhhhhh crap, I thought as the purple haired man thrust both of his arms towards me, and I lost feeling in my legs. I glance down to see my waist and everything below it coated in a solid block of ice! Before I could even react to this news, a fist smashed into the side of my snout, causing me to hiss in pain.

"WHO DARES- Oh, its you my scaly friend! AND YOU GOT YOUR CLOTHES BACK!" Jeffry said in his overly loud manner of speaking. I took a glance at the human and saw that his front is entirely covered in blood from the corpse he'd been smashing. "But why did you shock me?" He asked with a grin on his face.

"Because you wouldn't listen to us! We'd been trying to get your attention!" I snarled back in rage, "Now release me!"

"Uh, yea about that. Its ice, you gotta let it melt. HEY, you're a dragon aren't ya? Just go and use your fire breath thing!

"I'd rather NOT set myself on fire you crazy asshole!" I could control my fire breath fairly well, but not well enough to melt the ice without burning myself afterwards. Breathing fire is surprisingly tricky.

"HEY, no need for insults!"

"Jeremy," Marli suddenly interjects, "I'll get you moving" flames suddenly appearing in the vixen's paws. Jeffry hopped backwards a bit, and Marli sent a very small stream of fire over my frozen legs, just enough to get it to melt. Once the cage of ice had melted, I took a step forward and fell flat on the ground.

"Jeremy, you okay?" Marli asked with a strange look.

"Ugh... yea, I just can't feel my legs. And you have better control of fire than I do." I replied with a small chuckle while my legs began to tingle painfully as blood rushed back into them. "Thanks for getting me free."

"No problem, now get up." She replied, helping me to my feet. Marli helped me stumble into Jeffry's kitchen and into a chair, where she sat down next to me.

"Sorry," said Jeffry "I can get a little carried away, and the ice plasmid has an instant numbing effect."

I just grunt in response and ask "So what's with the boxes?"

"Oh yea, I GOT US SOME MUNCHIES!" He shouts back, tossing me a box which I proceed to open.

"Steak?" I ask him once I'd seen what was inside.

"STEAK!" Jeffry replies with a grin.

"Now where did you get steak?" Marli asks opening another box to reveal another steak.

"From a vending machine down the hall."

"Okay... looks like that game was right about that too." I whisper to myself, and I could tell Marli was thinking the same thing.

'Well they're cooked, so DIG IN!" Yelled the splicer as he took a steak and began to gorge on it. I grabbed one, and took a hesitant bite. It came from a vending machine, so it couldn't be that good, could it? On the contrary, the meat was very good and tasted as though it were cooked on a charcoal grill. I look over and see Marli eating hers slowly, while Jeffry continued to take massive savage bites out of his. I was suddenly hit by a huge feeling of thirst, and I looked around for something to drink.

"Hey Jeffry, you got anything to drink?" He nods and sticks out a hand, which looses its icy covering, and regains the appearance of a normal human hand. The refrigerator suddenly burst open and a bottle of water flew out and into his hand. He gave another wave causing the fridge to close, and then tossed the bottle to me and I began to drink while Marli just stared at him.

"How did you do that?" She asked, still staring at his arm.

"Telekinesis plasmid!" He replied, summoning another bottle of water with a wave of his hand.

"Oh right, forgot about that." Marli mumbled.

After a few minutes we finished eating, and I felt the need to ask an important question.

"Jeffry what do you know about Mr. Walker?" He grin was instantly replaced by look of pure hatred, while at the same time tears appeared in his eyes. Jeffry stuck his hand out again, and the audio diary we'd found in Ryan's office floated onto the table.

"I listened to this while you were asleep," He said in a quiet non-Jeffry-like voice, "It should tell you everything you need to know." Jeffry then stood up, and walked away into his room. I heard the door slam shut, and what sounded like crying coming from inside.

Concerned, I moved to open the door, but decidde against it. I had no clue how he would react if I barged in on him while he was crying. I placed the diary on the table and pressed the play button. After a moment of static, a voice began to speak out of the device and spell out the life of Mr. Walker.

"This is Jason Walker, it is January 24th, 1950, I am twenty-three yeas old and this is my first journal. A friend got this for me saying it would help me keep my thoughts straight, and help me document any discoveries I have in my line of work. I must confess that I feel rather silly just speaking into a recorder and I'm not quite sure what to say, so I'll just ramble on a bit. I probably won't talk into this thing much, but I'll give a try seeing as it's a gift.

"I have been living in Rapture for four years now, and have a job at Fontaine Futuristics as a plasmid developer. My team and I have been developing various plasmids and gene tonics the whole time I have lived here, and I am still amazed as to what one can accomplish with ADAM and a scientific mind. Just last week our team invented a new plasmid, which allows one to manipulate objects with their mind!

"The possibilities of this substance are indeed endless, but I feel that we must be cautious. We still do not understand exactly how this substance works, or any possible side-affects that long-term use my cause."

I sat back intrigued by what I had just heard, and Marli had a look of interest as well. After a short stop, the journal began to play another entry.

"February 1st, 1950. Amid our studies of the affects ADAM can have on a subject, my team and I received a notice from the higher ups saying that we have been contracted by Rapture Law Enforcement to engineer plasmids designed for combat. They want us to start immediately! I felt misgivings at the request however. Using ADAM to kill others is disturbing to say the least, but I can also see why such plasmids would be needed. Crime would likely come to a complete stop against a team of super-soldiers enforcing the law. Research will begin immediately, and our research onto long term effects of ADAM will bet put on hold. Perhaps indefinitely.

"August14th, 1950. I am very impressed with my team, as we have already made much progress. In the last few months we have designed, tested, and perfected three plasmids, and a gene tonic. The amount of progress is truly staggering, as plasmids and tonics usually take much longer for just one to be developed. The tonic will allow those using it to run much faster than a normal person, and will be useful in any number of situations. The plasmids we have created, however, leave me feeling uneasy. One will allow the user to launch a bolt of lightning out of their hands, another to manipulate security drones and turrets, and the last to fire streams of flames from their hands, and set things on fire with a snap of their fingers. I cannot help but wonder the chaos these would cause if criminals managed to get hold of these. Rapture Law Enforcement was very satisfied, and my team and I received a large paycheck for it."

"December 1st, 1950. We have just finished testing a new plasmid. This one took us a long time and caused a lot of frustration, and I am surprised we were even able to make it work. Oddly enough I got the idea for this plasmid from a group of children playing in the city.

"I was on my way to the metro, when a group of kids came running past playing some sort of game. One of them yelled at the others to get to the teleport device, this was obviously imaginary and part of their game, but it caused to consider the idea of teleportation. Could it work with ADAM? We had already achieved the impossible; why not push the envelope further? I presented the idea to my team as a joke originally, to see what they thought of it, and it ended up being a major goal. To make a plasmid that would allow teleportation was a truly mind-boggling idea, but we were successful!

"Well, partially. It is still very unstable, and those that use it are prone to random teleportations that are beyond their control. Luckily, we managed to reduce the distance to about ten feel, and the frequency to about once every three hours while awake, but still it could be very inconvenient. We are conducting long-term testing with this plasmid to see if we can control it better. Two of our test subjects have volunteered to keep journals of their experiences with the plasmid."

Marli and I glanced at each other taking in this information. Walker still sounded like a machine when he spoke. He seemed to have no emotion, whether it was frustration from his work, or pride from his successes. The diary kept playing however, and there was much more to come.

"January 18th, 1951. I have just finished moving out of my old home, and into a much better one with the large paycheck we received from Rapture Law Enforcement. I have more room, a better view of the ocean, better lighting, and newer appliances. I am very pleased with the past year, as my team and I have made much progress, and much success in our efforts to design new plasmids. I wanted to move months ago, but the teleportation project made that impossible with its difficulty. If I had slowed down even for a day we might not have discovered how to make it work.

"On that note we received a journal from one of our test subjects. He said that the teleporting was convenient in getting around, as he never had to pay for the train or bathysphere subs, but the random teleports could be rather annoying. He reports no change in their frequency and distance, so we must wait longer, and possibly bring him back to the labs to assess the plasmid, and maybe modify it."

"January 28th, 1951. Our second test subject has sent in their journal as well; hers however, was much more promising. At first the random teleportations, were just that: random. As time went on however, she started to know when they were about to occur, and could direct them where she wished. We asked how she knew, and she told us that she couldn't really describe how she knew, she just did. It must be a part of the plasmid's effects that we did not foresee. This is promising though, and only time will tell if we can make the plasmid more stable."

"February 2nd, 1951. Tragedy struck today. One of our test subjects for the teleportation plasmid has died. It was all over the news, and my team and I were given statements, and threats, from his friends. He was at the birthday party of one of his friends, and one of the random teleports hit. He disappeared, and then was spotted re-appearing out in the ocean through one of the windows. The pressure killed him instantly."

This caught Marli and I off guard, and we both made sounds of disgust as the images popped into our heads. We were also blindsided by Walker's voice, as he sounded sad and remorseful, as though he truly regretted the person's death. I was surprised at this, and could see that Marli was too, as this was the first time we had ever heard his voice show any sort of emotion.

"We have also received concerned messages from our other test subject, but we assured her that we are looking for a way to stabilize the plasmid as fast as we can."

"March 5th, 1951. My team recruited a new member after we gained increased funding from Fontaine Futuristics last week. I thought that rather odd after the disaster with the teleportation plasmid, but I won't complain. More help is always appreciated. Fresh from the university at twenty years old, I had my doubts about him, but Dr. Jacobs has proven to be an intelligent and capable young lemur.

"March 20th, 1951. Our new colleague, Dr. Jacobs presented the rest of the team an interesting idea today. He suggested that it may be possible, that the stabilizing element we need for our teleportation plasmid may rest in the genes of our current surviving test subject. He also suggested that we bring in more test subjects, and sample their genes, in order to collect more data to prove this idea. After some debate, we agreed to this proposal, and have begun searching for new testers.

"April 28th, 1951. After a few weeks of searching we have managed to find four more test subjects for our teleportation project. They spat in our faces at first. They had obviously heard about what happened to our last subjects, but they eagerly agreed to help us when they saw how much we were paying. I love having a massive research budget. We have taken samples of their DNA, and are now comparing their gene structure with that of our other test subject. This will be a long process, but we are confident that we will find a solution to the plasmid's instability. Until then we will begin developing newer plasmids.

"January 13th, 1953. Finally! I have found this infernal device. Lost it a long time ago, and never got around to getting a new one. It was under a couch cushion of all places. Over the last two years we have made a good amount of progress. Our teleportation project has been stabilized somewhat. We have released it to the public and the company has made quite a bit of money, which means that my team and I have in turn been given raises. There will still be random teleports from the plasmid, but we have reduced them to twice a day at the most, and the user will know when they are about to happen and direct them.

"We have also made a new gene tonic that makes one's bones stronger, and less likely to break. This one is very popular with athletes and law enforcement officers. Another gene tonic we have made enhances eyesight, and is currently being used to help those with poor eyesight see better, and the blind to see for the first time! One plasmid we have made causes ones hand to become covered in soap, and other cleaning materials, and allows the user to wash dishes, clean clothing, and perform a number of house keeping tasks just by running a hand over the object that needs cleaning. This one is very popular as it is very easy to use, quite effective and doesn't stain.

"February 12th, 1953. On the way to the train today I saw a woman at the station, and my mind froze, and I felt my heart go all a flutter. Her hair was smooth, shiny, and black as the night, with a shapely face, and the most beautiful smile. I don't know why but I can't stop thinking of her, and I was distracted at work all day."

"February 20th, 1953. I have been distracted at work lately, and one of my team members has noticed. Dr. Jacobs has become a good friend of mine over the years, and he seems to know what is distracting me without even asking! He came up to me and just asked 'So who's the lucky lady?' which of course caused me to stammer and sputter like an idiot, and made the lemur to smile. How did he know? She's at the train station everyday, at the same time as I am, and even takes the same train! I don't know her name, or anything about her, but I can't stop thinking of her!"

"March 13th, 1953. Today we made an interesting tweak to our eyesight aid, and were then able to market a new gene tonic! The new tonic, which is a bit more expensive, also enhanced the user's night vision! I am constantly amazed what we can accomplish with ADAM. Also today, I found out her name. Ashelin Brizzard."

I looked at Marli at this and we both looked surprised again. Over the last few recordings Walker actually sounded infatuated with this woman, and when he found out her name, he sounded like the happiest man in the world.

I had a feeling that we were getting close to finding out what he was doing, and that it had something to do with this Ashelin woman that he seemed so obsessed with. As the device began to play again, I heard something near the door. Hitting the pause button I grab my rifle and pad my way over. We had been attacked enough that I began to distrust any sound that seemed out of place

"What is it?" Marli asks.

"I don't know. I heard something." I replied with a serious tone.

"I'll get Jeffry." She picked up her weapons, and then began pounding her paw against his door, calling his name. After a few seconds his purple clad head appeared with a depressed look on his face.

"Laura..." He whispered, and there were tears in his eyes. "Oh sorry Marli, what is it?"

"GET DOWN!" I shout as the door is burst down, and a figure pokes around the frame holding a grenade launcher. Jeffry teleports away, while Marli and I dive back into the kitchen, knocking the table on its side for cover. With a "thump" a round is fired from the weapon destroying one of Jeffry's turrets with a loud bang, before it could begin firing. Another "thump" rang throughout the room followed by a second explosion as Jeffry's other turret was destroyed.

A figure marches into the room, letting out a cackling hysterical laugh. I poke around the corner, readying my electro bolt and get a glimpse of our assailant. It was a tigress. She was covered in blood wobbling around as though she were drunk laughing maniacally the entire time.

She spotted me looking, and pointed the grenade launcher in our direction, but before she could fire I hit her with a bolt of electricity. Stunned she dropped her weapon, and Marli was able to get a few rounds into her chest before the effects wore off.

"NOOO! NOT YOU!" we heard scream from outside the apartment. "PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME GO BACK! NOT THERE! ANYTHING BUT THAT!" To our shock we saw Jeffry crawling on his back into the apartment. He must have teleported outside the door to get behind the tigress, but now his eyes were bugging out from fear, and were glued to the open door of his apartment. Suddenly his gaze locked on to Marli and I and he made his way over to us sobbing in fear.

"PLEASE DON'T LET THE BAD MAN TAKE ME BACK THERE! ANYTHING BUT THAT! PLEASE! I'LL DO ANYTHING! JUST DON'T LET HIM TAKE ME BACK TO THAT PLACE! He collapsed at our feet crying his eyes out. Utterly confused Marli and I looked at the door to see a figure standing just around the corner so we could barely see them but not make out any details. The figure tossed something into to room and it started spewing gas. We all started coughing and collapsed to the floor as it rapidly filled up the room; the gas making me feel weak and lightheaded. The figure then marched into to the room, with what looked like a re-breather over his muzzle. Before I passed out, I took in two other details about the wolf in front of me:

He was badly burned... and wearing an eye patch.
