I know this one was along time comeing and to be honest i didnt think i would make it, but all the feed back i got was so positive, and imagin my surpise when ch. 2 had a 10/10 rateing but anyhow i will try to pump these out as quick as i can but things have been hard lately, but anyhow have fun reading and remember theres still more to come and i love feed back. ^_^

Chapter 3: The Tournament Part. 1

Leon woke up with a yawn the next morning. He turned his gaze to the place in bed next to him, where he was sure his mate lay, but to his surprise was very much gone. He almost panicked well until his brain woke up and he saw the steam coming form the bath area, of his little "room" and his irrational thoughts went away. Putting those thoughts away and the thought that he could probably use a bath as well, especially if he had to go into town today. So he got to his feet and ventured around the bed and through the door, then made a sharp turn as he usually did so as not to slip on the wet parts around the bathing area, how ever this time his little turn was quite different, as he soon felt something very soft and rather familiar at his groin. A certain amount of shock set in as his sheath reacted, and well then next thing he herd was Lenka yelp a little in shock.

Lenka stood straight up from her bent over position, and sighed in relief. "Gods be, you scared the hell out of me love." she leaned her back against her new mate's chest and smiled. "well maybe next time you can join me for my morning bath, but right now I wish to explore the festival."

He tried to get a hold of what just happened but he reacted to late in this situation. "But... I.... Umm..." his words where taken away by the sight of straight down her towel that she had wrapped around her chest, which coincidentally made his sheath react more.

"Oooh.... Naughty wolf, you are." She smiled and rubbed her rear against his groin where it had been for the last few moments. "Mmm... maybe later, but you have to get ready to go." as she wrapped her paw around the back of his neck and smiled, then planted a soft kiss on his cheek.

He sighed softly "yes I do have to go into town, but I am afraid that you will have to go your self for a while, I have to register for the tournament." he gave her a soft hug and kissed her cheek, as he noticed her ears drop in quite a bit of disappointment, he could tell that she wanted to go to the festival with him. "Listen, I will register as quickly as I can, and then I will find you and spend some time with you, then when the tournament starts you can come watch, how's that sound?"

Her ears perked up a bit as she herd the offer. "Ok, but how long dose registering take?" she inquired softly as a kit would in her position.

He softly stroked her ear and smiled. "well you have to stand in line and take qualifies, Hiltz said my paper work taken care of, so I would image that, that would take a few hours off my time... but there is the small matter of finding a mage to work with." he let out a small chuckle. "so that should give use an hour or so to walk through the festival together.

She smiled at him again and kissed his cheek once more "Well then I will get dressed and be off." her eyes turned dreamy, I have never been to one of these before, I cant wait to see all the wonders that this city holds." just then she felt a drawstring pouch land in her paws. "W-what's this?

Leon smiled and pointed to it. "that is your spending money." he gave her a big grin.

She looked in the pouch, and her jaw suddenly dropped. This was more money than she had ever seen, considering she was just a simple farm girl only last week that wasn't saying much. "WOW! Leon... there must be 50 zenny in here!!!"

He smiled a little "well, 56 to be exact. Its half of what I have." he felt her arms wrap around his neck and a flurry of kisses on his cheek. Then out of all her excitement, she turned and dove over the bed throwing her towel to the side, and began to grab the old clothes that Leon had given her, witch made her rear stick rather high in the air on the bed.... And suddenly she felt eyes on her back side so she looked back at Leon with a smirk. "hey don't stare to hard you'll burn a hole in it." she giggled as he was already tossing his shirt off to get cleaned up. "well anyhow lover, I am going to go as soon as I get dressed your cash is burning a hole in my pouch."

Leon only smiled and shook his head slightly "Well just be careful my dearest, there are a great many thefts in this city, and not all of them hide in the shadows." he looked up at her with a warning gaze.

She simply looked back and thought to her self 'ohh if he only knew' then nodded "ok love. I will be on guard for such things." as she finally got her pants on, and tied the tunic tight around her so it wouldn't reveal anything. "Well, be sure to find me later, I am off." she padded out the door narrowly hearing his goodbye, then out the door to the tavern below where the old dwarf waved to her form the bar in a greeting but seemed to be very busy at the moment, so she didn't seem to want to bother him... but she did walk by an strange cloaked figure as she was headed out the door, but she dismissed it and kept going. Her eyes widened considerably as she stepped out the door. This was a greater sight than yesterday, the streets where full of strange folk and creatures that she had never seen before, her heart was pounding as she walked eagerly around trying to take it all in, when suddenly she felt a paw on her wrist. There was an attractive young rat female attached to the hand.

"You vill come to tent for free palm reading yes?" she said with a smile on her face a mile wide, and looked as friendly as can be. She had a low cut white blouse with frills on it showing off her shoulders, and a purple dress that showed lots of leg. And her tiny anklet that hung off her ankle and matched her earrings and bracelets perfectly.

Lenka smiled softly and followed her to the tent with a polite "ok" or as polite as the word ok gets.

They waded through the crowd of people to the tent that wasn't that far off and sat down at a small round table with a crystal ball in front of it. That was being ignored for now, as she sat her guest down. At one side, and started to stare at her paw for a moment then her eyes went wide. "AAHHH... I zee... I zee..."

Lenka tried looking at her paw with the rat. "What? What do you see?"

The rat replied as she looked up at Lenka. "Is hard to be zeeing any ting when jou in my light." then Lenka herd a faint bit of laughter. "Hey where did that come from"

The rat looked around. "Vhat? I hear noting." she gave her an inquisitive look then, she went back to looking at her paw. "Ahh... I is zeeing problem now..." she twisted Lenka's paw gently so as not to hurt her "paw being upside down." then she herd more laughter and tried to figure out where it was coming from only to get a light bop on the nose from the rat girl. "be paying attention dis being important." she heard some lighter laughter still not knowing what to make of it. "well, first line zays dat you crazy cat girl who hear many voices in, Claudia's tent." she herd the laughter again, "ooh second line very long... is love life, second is right size is life line.... Ooh look, you going to have many childers and horses, along wit sviming pond." Lenka looked and smiled saying "where" then immediately getting the reply. "is being here" as she spit on her paw making a small puddle in her palm and before she could pull it back the rat immediately apologized "is being very sorry love, let Claudia clean dat for jou" and immediately licked her paw clean in one swipe. At this point she broke her grip and stood about to give this "fortune teller" a piece of her mind, even over all the laughter that was coming from nowhere then, she heard clapping with it as the rat stood, and started to bow to the outer parts of the tent. "Thank you all for coming, to lady Claudia's comedy tent...and give our unwitting participant a big hand as she was so good to sit through the whole thing and not strike the host." as the curtains pulled back and a large audience stood in where the once sat and where giving Lenka a hand for not getting too mad. "well if you would all be so kind as to exit the tent, the same way you came in, and don't for get to visit my sisters clothing tent, you get a 25% discount if you present my ticket for this show." she looked at Lenka with a look that said sorry bout all this, then she looked at what Lenka was wearing "its also where my lovely assistant will get outfitted for free, for being such a good sport"

Lenka looked more than a little shocked at the fact that all this was just a clever trick, not as if she didn't see it being something like a trick but she didn't know that it would be an attraction at the festival. "h-hey... how is this... I mean when did... umm where did your ascent go?"

Claudia smiled "well its an act hun, and if you couldn't guess by now that my name is Claudia" as she took a bow in front of her "and by the way sorry for all that, but I needed some one who was new to the fair, and you where the first one I saw, besides you where only the last part of my act, I couldn't just leave them in there for long with no entertainment but my little brother juggling." as she pointed to a little rat boy who looked about 10 or so cleaning up the seats and pushing back the curtains.

Lenka giggled a little and smiled at Claudia "well you didn't have to trick me you could have just told me I am a pretty good sport about those kind of things."

Claudia "actually I had to trick you, most people aren't good actors, and besides that, your reactions to what I was doing is the funniest part, if you know its coming its not nearly as funny." she smiled and started to lead Lenka into the second part of the tent. "besides if you didn't know I hit you with some of the oldest tricks in the book and you where pretty shocked by it, those would have went pretty dead if you knew what was going on."

Lenka smiled softly as she looked to Claudia "yeah I guess your right, the spiting on my paw thing was something we did to each other as kits."

She laughed and stared to take out her heavy earrings "yeah that is the beauty of it love, now let me get a bit more comfy and I will take you to my sisters shop to get some new clothes." they both smiled wide at that thought, and they both could tell this was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Meanwhile across the festival, Leon made his way down stairs still drying one ear and his hair with a towel, then handing it to the bar maid as he usually did, to see the usual busy crowd in the shop, only to catch a glimpse of a familiar figure that was sitting in a brown cloak he couldn't quite shake this feeling of familiarity with the cloaked person. "Leon... you never write, or send messengers... is this how you treat family by just walking by them." the figure stood and turned to him, now he could see slight curves, under the loose robes, and the hood came back, reviling a lovely young wolfess with light grey fur, and two different color eyes, one bright blue and the other a dull green, as she smiled to him opening her arms.

He smiled and took a step embracing his sister "TESS!! He exclaimed, how have you been?" she smiled and gave him a customary kiss to his lips.

"Not bad dear brother, how about yourself?" she smiled and kissed backed away from the embrace a step or two.

"well pretty good actually." he smiled softly "and there is someone I want you to meet" as he tried desperately not to blush.

Then she smiled wide "Your kidding, This is wonderus news." she looked around "where is she?"

He laughed "well she is wondering the festival but we will meet up with her soon... right now would you accompany me to the Tournament Qualifiers... but first I need to find a partner mage." he thought for a moment as he waged his tail to try and help his thoughts.

She giggled softly "well then brother dear... look no further."

He raised his eyebrow "you?... Your kidding?" as he also took a step back and there embrace was now just the two holding hands.

She cocked her eyebrow back "Well I am glad your so believing of your older sister. But yes I found out shortly after you left, that I had the potential inside me, and now I am a sorceress." She smiled softly and narrowed her eyes "still doubtful? Need a demonstration?"

He laughed tad bit. "I have to see this" as he stood back.

She gave him a sharp look "well then something simple" she held out her hand and simply said the word 'Lumouse' and a ball of light manifested in her hand. "you see dear brother this is but a small parlor trick to my real power... but I don't think our good friend Dygid would like my messing up his bar too much" as she took Leon by the hand and out into the street. "so where to?" she exclaimed as she walked hand in hand with him.

He looked down the road and then up it again "well once we get through this crowd we can meet Hiltez at the registry tent, and he said he would take care of every thing, but I still intend on qualifying I doubt he has enough influence to wave me past that." as he started to lead her down the street.

They got about half way there through the crowd when suddenly some one yelled "There she is Git'er" as about six robed figures leapt over people and what ever else to get where Leon and Tess where standing, this made many of the people in the streets start to panic and move away from where the assailants where attacking the two siblings. And thus delaying the guards from getting through the crowed. "There's the wench what Fucked up our Job." as the men obviously thieves that Tess had thwarted earlier and where now out for revenge, and had them out numbered 2-8. I know it hardly seems fair, but these thieves where unprepared for these particular two. Leon easily took two of these thieves out in one blow across both of there stomachs, making quite a nasty sight out of one, and mortally wounding the other, so he wasn't getting back up.

The next two, came at Tess and where met with a magical blast of energy that knocked them both to the ground one just wasn't moving and the other wasn't really breathing at all, so that takes care of about half the force that has assaulted them, and its just a few seconds into the battle. The next two leapt at Leon and had been blocked by his sword, but by the same token they had evaded his blade being somewhat more skilled than the last two, and one more started to fire small bolts at Tess from the back of the group, narrowly missing her as she dodged them to the side, leavening one unaccounted for, but both where too busy to note him moving through the shadows behind the Sorceress. He crept upon her as silent as he could be, witch he had plenty of cover noise and distraction so it wasn't hard to come to her back with out her knowing, he raised his blade as if to jam it in to he neck, and almost being assured to kill the young wolfess in her prime, for what she had done to them. A black streak landed with a thud on top of the Thug making him skid with a great weight on his chest, and a mighty spear through the chest of the thief firing the cross bow, as Leon finished his last two with his sword through the neck of one of the bandits and his foot to the others jaw, he looked up to see his sisters savior, to be a large dragon-morph with bright platinum scales, and dark black armor, with a crest of the royal army on it indicating that he was a knight of the order, but just as the extremely short fight ended the guards finally got to the scene, with most of the people in the street stopping to calm down ever so slightly, but most of them were gawkier any how.

The dragon knight spoke as the guards finally made there way to them "Arrest the survivors I, I will testify to the innocence of the two wolves, I saw the whole thing" as he pulled his spear out of the body on the ground. Then he turned to Tess and smiled with a courtly bow. "I trust malady and her... um mate where not hurt?"

Tess immediately blushed and smiled with a curtsy of her own, "No, we are fine good sir, and he is my brother, I am unmated sir knight." as she her smile grew a little more as she stared up at his magnificent form.

He stood again to his full 7 and a half feet tall, then took her paw and kissed the back of it gently. "a crime in and of its self that a female of your stunning beauty is with out a partner." as he then bowed his head one last time and turned after giving Leon a small bow, and left with a fat old Raccoon priest following him.

Tess blushed, a bright red as the Knight walked away and Leon came up next to her smiling from ear to ear. "I think some one likes you" he said in that teasing sort of tone that a brother gives a sister.

She gouged him in the ribs rather playfully but still hard "your rather Jovial for some one who was just in a fight." she prodded at him further.

He smiled a bit more "well that was a light workout for me, but you need to be more careful" he wrapped his arm around his sister, and smiled.

She smiled back and patted his chest "dear brother, I knew that knight was going to save me, or I would have done something sooner, you see as a sorceress I make a habit of being aware of my surroundings at all times, and when I saw that 'hunk' of a dragon coming to my aid I let him." and she smiled softly at her brother "and I think it paid off."

Leon smiled and made a stupid comment "ooh, planning to bed him by the end of the week, or are we going to hold on to him this time" and suddenly he found himself in a headlock." with his sisters amazingly strong grip around his head.

Then she spoke to him through her clenched teeth. "Listen dear brother, I know I probably disserved that one because of my actions in the past, but I don't want to hear you breath a word about it again." as she let him go still smiling, both of them knew that she wasn't really mad at him but he had to be put in his place when speaking to his elder sister some times.

Then they continued down the street paw in paw, to the registry tent where Hiltez awaited them both, with his same confident smirk on his face. "well, well didn't take you very long at all... save for the little hold up you had."

Leon growled lightly "how did you know about it Hiltez? It only happened moments ago." Leon gave him a cold glare.

Hiltez smirked even wider and closed his eyes "Leon my boy, I practically own this town nothing... and I do mean nothing happens here, with out my knowing." he sighed and opened his eyes again "but I must tell you that I had nothing to do with it I simply knew about it, for my eyes are everywhere." he looked to Tess and tilted his head to the side. "your partner I assume, well all she needs to do is sign here, and your done."

Leon's brow rose a little "done? I don't need to Qualify? How did you pull that off?" he folded his arms as he looked at Hiltez.

He shrugged and scoffed at Leon "I did nothing, your reputation precedes you all I did was fill out your paper work, and they took one look and told me you where qualified." Then he bellowed out a laugh witch was highly irregular for Hiltez normally cool demeanor. "you seem to be a local Hero... wonder how that happened" he said as though he where the reason that Leon was so popular around the city.

Leon gave him another strange look as Tess signed in, "In any case, you should be ready in about an hour or so, they will announce you when you are needed so enjoy the festivities my furry friends." and the siblings turned almost simultaneously and walked away from Hiltez.

Back at the clothing store Claudia and Lenka where waiting for Claudia's sister talking with one another and becoming fast friends. Claudia pulled Lenka to the side where the dress area was, and picked up some clothes trying them on, and modeling for one another, using the same dressing booth to do so after all they where both females and friends now at that so nudity wasn't a big deal to them, how ever they where covered from the public eye by the currents that hung from the top of the tent to make the "dressing rooms". Lenka had on a tight yellow tunic and a brownish color skirt. "what do you think Claudia?"

she cringed at the sight of it. "well your rear is nice and you need to show it off like that skirt dose for you, but its just gaudy with that tunic." she thought for a moment "here try this" as she pulled the tunic off Lenka and grabed a thin piece of cloth and tied it around her chest in a make-shift bra. "hum... no that looks like it would get annoying after a bit." so she then pulled it off and put her paws on Lenka's breasts, and she eeped and jumped back "Oh, don't be such a kit, I am not feeling you up, I am just trying to see where your breasts need to sit so you look the cutesiest that your body will allow."

Lenka looked at her and shivered a little "no I wasn't thinking you where... your hands are pretty damn cold." Then they both started laughing, and Claudia warmed her hands, and they continued to find, Lenka's "cute breast spot" and a few moments later came out of the booth, with Claudia in the same blouse she was in before but with a set of pants on instead of the skirt, but Lenka came out in a lovely light brown, short skirt and white silk tunic with a brown vest that matched her skirt. Then Claudia smiled and pulled a box from behind the counter. "now we need to add jewelry to your outfit but it will cost you, where as the outfit is free." and just then another rat girl that looked almost identical to Claudia came in the door, with an arm load of food.

"hi Claude." she said with a smile "who's your friend?"

Claudia just smiled and laughed "Hiya Merle, and she was today's unlucky winner, and my new gal pal Lenka" as she started pulling out all the jewelry, some bracers in particularly that she had in the box with blue jewels adorning them.

Then she turned to Lenka and smiled wide at her "hun, these are supposed to be magical, but I haven't ever tested them, because they are supposed to keep you from harm. Now they might not work but I want you to have them, so I am giving you a discount on them, 25 zenny and they're yours" Lenka gasped at the craftsmanship, sliding them on as the silver inlay started to shine in even the smallest light, and the blue gems almost started to glow, then once she put them on they returned to normal, but still very lovely on her.

"wow I love them, I will take them." as she pulled out 25 zenny, and pushed them to Claudia who stored them properly then pulled out an anklet that looked like the one she was wearing.

"Here I want you to have this as a token of my friendship." as she knelt down and lifted Lenka's foot-paw, and slid the Anklet around her foot, after Lenka scrunched her lower paw up as tightly as she could to get the anklet on with ease. "there, now your not just cute... your sexy" as she smiled at her friend and gave her a hug, all this earning a soft hug from Merle off to the side.

"glad you two are getting close over there" as she looked up out of the tent. "oh hey we have some one coming in, its probably a customer." Just then Leon walked in with the cloaked she-wolf behind him.

He smiled at Lenka "having fun love? We look..." his words where cut short by her new look, as he had never seen her dressed up in female clothes before. But the female wolf came up from behind Leon, and gave Lenka a large hug, then kissed her lips in the same customary fashion, that she did earlier, but it still made Lenka uneasy for a stranger to be kissing her.

"so you're the one... wow you're perfect" she then placed her paws on Lenka's mussel and pried her jaws apart examining her teeth and gums. "yes healthy... ooh and her breath smells as fresh as it tastes" as her paws continued to scrutinize Lenka.

Then Leon snapped back to reality. "ooh Lenka, this is my sister... Tess" he pointed to Tess then back to Lenka "Tess, Lenka. Lenka Tess" he introduced them to one another.

Lenka sort of looked a bit shocked "my friendly isn't she"

Tess smiled and took her comment seriously "why thank you Lenka dear... and welcome to the family." she smiled softly and gave her another kiss "oh by the way, I can tell you're a little shocked by the whole kissing thing, well it's a custom among wolves so expect it from the whole family." she winked "be glad its not the old days... It used to be licking." as she laughed softly.

Leon comforted his mate by hugging her close, and it worked pretty well, and soon she was contently purring in his arms "ooh by the way these are my new friends, Claudia and Merle." they all gave a friendly nod to each other and politely introduced themselves to each other.

Leon looked out at the sun "hum... well the tournament should be starting soon we should get going." he turned to the two rats " you are welcome to watch Tess and I, compete." they looked at each other and smiled.

Merle nodded to Claudia "I have to mind the shop you go and have fun"

Claudia smiled and hugged her sister. " thanks sis I will be back soon"

Just then the Crier came through town with a bell ringing it for every ones attention "The Tournament will be starting shortly, all combatants to the arena, all combatants to the arena please!!"
