The doberman rolled off the couch with a loud bark of surprise, before bursting out with fitful giggling. The brown and tan dog lay laughing on the floor, having just woken up from a daydream about him and his mate, Mazraxa(Maz for short) single handedly winning the Vietnam war armed only with spoons and a butter powered helicopter made of stone. He had passed out watching a television show about special forces in Vietnam and had fallen into the ridiculous dream, finding himself aiming down the sights of an M16 rifle, standing next to the tiger he shared his life with. Arson sat up grinning, his hand on his chest. He stood and switched the tv off and walked into the kitchen finding a note on the fridge from the big cat. He peeled the note from the appliance and grinned. It read "hey sleepy, I went to the store to grab some groceries. I'll be back later" it was concluded by a small heart and the dog wagged his tail happily. It had been several months since he and Maz had become mates and even though they were an odd pair, he loved the tiger dearly, spending every waking moment with the tiger at very least in the back of his mind and at most attached to his side. He smiled and opened the fridge, most likely to raid it for some of the tigers cooking, which he loved dearly. He found last nights leftovers. Sausage and veggie pizza, of which he grabbed a slice and returned to the living room. The doberman, recently laid off spent most of his days combing the internet and local paper for jobs. Which never seemed to come to him, the consideration of joining the army was strong in his mind, several times he had walked into a recruitment center and walked straight back out. He would join without Maz, and even then not without the guarantee that they would remain together. So for now he searched the Internet, ate the tigers lunches and played xbox. He removed his phone from the loose board shorts he wore and tapped out a quick text to his mate. 'Hey Hun! Sorry I passed out on ya! See you when you get home, I love you!' he grinned and replaced the phone before turning on the tv and grabbing the xbox controller. It was always easy for him to get intensely focused on the game, even to the point he would loose track of time and shut out all noise other then the gunfire and sounds of his opponents footsteps. He heard the tiger come in and instantly shut the console off before laying back down and pretending to be asleep again. "Arson? Are you awake yet?" The big Bengal tiger stood over the slightly shorter canine. "So damn cute when your asleep" he teased, reaching down to scratch behind the dogs large pointed ears, only to find himself pulled downward onto the dogs chest, finding a big grinning muzzle planted to his own in a friendly kiss. The dobermans icy blue eyes glinting happily as he gazed into his mates green ones. "Heya sexy" He said smiling warmly. The dog released the cat, who remained laying on the dogs bare chest, purring softly. "Hey Hun" he said quietly back. The dog grinned and licked behind the tigers smaller, rounded ears, having learned long ago that this spot brought the feline into an intense state of relaxation. "You know I love you too much" He said smirking at the feline, who looked at him with a gentle smile"Impossible" the cat rebutted. The dog planted another kiss on his mates lips before removing himself from the couch, only to find himself restrained by the tigers strong paws, holding him on the couch" whatcha doing?" he said squirming a little. The tiger shrugged and nipped at the bridge of the digs nose, having found the dogs relaxation point within the first few days. Arson let out a quiet sigh and snuggled close to the feline, murring softly in his mates arms. "so what did you get up to while I was gone?" the tiger asked softly. "oh nothing really, beat your time on halo" he teased. The tiger pretended to pout at the Doberman, but couldnt keep a straight face for long. Arson grinned at the tiger, his paws gently massaging the big cats back, working at the large bunched up muscles, working them loose. The tiger's purring grew louder as he worked slowly his paws softly working lower on the tigers back. The pair stayed like this for some time, the two slowly drifting to sleep. The pair awoke a few hours later, though Arson woke up first, he gave a happy bark and kissed the tigers cheek gently. "Come on sleepy, gotta wake up," he said pushing the tiger onto the empty part of the couch. Maz let out a yawn, his big teeth glinting a little. "What time is it?" he said stretching, looking over at the dog, smiling happily. Arson looked at his phone "Almost 3" he said replacing the device. "Why?". The tiger grunted and got up from the couch and wandered into the kitchen."No reason, I was just wondering how long we had been there" at that Arson grinned and stepped up behind the feline. A wide smile on his face, his hands around the tigers waist. He gently kissed the cats neck and nipped gently at the soft fur, "I'm gonna take a shower, feel free to join" he said with a wink over his shoulder as he went into the bathroom and stripped down to his fur and let the hot water pour through his soft fur. A warm grin on his muzzle as he worked the suds into his short, sleek fur. He stood there in the steam, growling happily when he felt a pair of paws on his back. "knew you would join.....hey!" he snapped, feeling a sharp object pressed into his neck. He slumped forward and collapsed onto the floor with a wet thump. The dog awoke several hours later and the first thing he thought was that Maz was playing a dirty trick on him, but when his eyes cleared and he looked around the room he found his mate tied to a chair, same as him. Then came the realization they had been kiddnapped. The dog barked loudly only to be struck, he growled and received another harsh blow to his head. He closed his jaw and looked about for the assailant, but to no avail. He growled again, this time almost silently. He looked to his right. Maz was awake now and he grunted a little as he came to and came to the same realization as his mate. "what's going on Arson!" he spoke loudly. Only to recieve a rough blow to his head. "zat iz enough!" came a voice from the darkness. A thick German accent on his lips. Into the dim light stepped a rather robust rottwieler. He seemed vaugly familiar to the Doberman but he couldn't put his finger on it.
