#3 of Kitsune Chronicles

heres the thrid (and final???) chapter of the series. for those who extremely like this and wish for more...i could use some help there. i seem to have trouble finding what to do with the next chapters...id gladly take any ideas into consideration... if there is someone willing...im kinda looking for someone who would make me an internet site...email me or chat on AIM: tboy2590 Lorka was too close. He was nearly breaking my virginity. It was then, I had to do something or else I would never be able to live with myself. It was not me who made the move, but Matthew. Somehow, he managed to get himself out of the ropes. From somewhere, he picked up a rock and threw it as hard as he could at Lorka's head. "SHIT!!!!! Just look at what you did to me! I'm bleeding!" Lorka acted as if he never saw blood before. He probably didn't because he could heal very quickly. "I'll get you for that!" Lorka lunged at Matthew and started to choke him. During that confusion, Lorka lost his control over me. I ran to the nearest corner and just stood there as I watched Matthew being tortured. His every scream tore through my heart like a blade slicing through. Finally, I could take no more. I lunged at Lorkiko with all my might. "You bitch! I should have raped you when I had the chance. It's such a shame that I will never be able to play with you anymore." With that said, he started to charge up an energy ball. This magic was far more powerful than what I have experienced before. It was so powerful; the air around me grew hot. Matthew came up with another ingenious plan and rammed right into Lorka's backside. Lorka grunted and stopped charging. The ball slowly dispersed into nothing. "Heh, you guys seem more attached than anyone else. It looks like I'll have to finish the both of you off at the same time." As soon as those words left his mouth, Lorka started teleporting again, taking us with him. For a while, still teleporting, I thought about what Matthew and I could do. Everything seemed hopeless. Finally, we arrived at what seemed like a deserted island. On it, there was a raised platform, surrounded by laser beams. The whole island was covered in fruitful trees. Each tree seemed to have its own kind of fruit. Though every fruit seemed increasingly delicious with every glance, it took a lot of my will power to try and resist. We walked to the middle where the arena was set. I stepped on it. As soon as I did, the laser beams grew in diameter, buzzing with danger. If I simply grazed one of them, I would surely die. There was no way out of this. "Let's see the power of a mere two-tail fight against the more dominant seven-tail. I doubt you have even the slightest chance of even making me hurt, much less kill me. I'll give you a chance. After every move I make, I'll give you ten seconds to shoot at me. During that time, all can do is block, nothing else. Even with the chance I give you, you still have less than zero chance of beating me." After his little speech, he began powering the energy ball again. This time, he completed it and then lunged it in my direction. I dodged it, but not its shockwave. The ball collided with one of the trees. The impact created a massive airwave, which I could not block. It blew me right across the ring, barely missing the lasers. "Ten seconds start now." I frantically searched my mind for any answer. Curse Lorka for giving me only ten seconds. A couple seconds more and I could have casted my entrapment spell. I need to try different tactics. The way I was thinking wasn't working. I was in desperate need of anything. Too soon, the ten seconds were up, and Lorka was again powering something. I had never seen anything like it before. It was like a rope with a ring of fire around. There was no doubt that this was powerful magic. He swung it around and around. The most I could do was duck or jump at the right times. Once again, I had ten seconds. What could I do? All I was doing right now was using the ten seconds to think of something. Then the ten seconds would be gone and I would go back to dodging. After about one hour of this vigorous fighting, I was worn out, but Lorka looked like he could do this ten times a day. He was still breathing regularly. There was nothing to tell me that he was tired. The ten seconds went up again. This time, I had something in my mind. I needed to confuse him, make him drop his guard. I went to the only option possible. I kissed him, not passionately like I do with Matthew, just enough to catch him off guard. Surely enough, his hands dropped to his side. I pulled away. "So, it seems that you do have feelings for me after all." He started toward me. As soon as he got close enough, I hit him with a small fireball. The ball was small, but very powerful at close range attacks. He screamed in pain and he saw his right arm go on fire. The fire kept burning as it reached his shoulders. From there, it enveloped his entire body, spreading like a wildfire. There was nothing Lorka could do that would stop the burning of the fire. It was an everlasting fire, one that could only be put out with Magic Water. Unfortunately for him, neither he nor I had Magic Water on our hands. It was much too expensive to carry around. I just stood there and watched, as his blood-curling screams echoed throughout my body. After about half and hour or so of that torture, there was no more Lorka. He just simply burned away to nothing. All that was left of him were a small pile of ashes. I glanced around, frantically looking for Matthew. As I looked around, I saw that the attacks Lorka had created caused a lot of damage to all the trees. There were no more. All of them were either burned from his attacks, or fallen upon by another tree that had fallen. Still, I searched for Matthew. I stared in disbelief as I finally found him. One of Lorka's attacks had hit him on the chest. He was freely bleeding and there was nothing to stop it. The fastest of healers could not fix a wound like this. I cried as I held him close to my chest, pining for his loving hold, his passionate kisses. "Joka..." Matthew could barely speak. "Don't talk. You are very weak. Please, just hold on. You can't die here. We have gone through so much. It can not end here. What would I do without you? As you put it before, I am the same. I could not live without you. You are the only reason in which I am still alive, still pure and undefiled. Without your help, surely, Lorka would have killed me, much less tried to enjoy me." Throughout my speech, Matthew's breaths grew steadily slower. So slow, I was scared that they had stopped altogether. I cried again. There was nothing I could do. Wait...there was something I could do. It would cost me dearly and him as well. There can be sever consequences, but it should be better than dieing. But what it he would not forgive me? Is it worth seeing him back? Alive? There were so many questions, but I had to act quickly...or else I will lose my only love. I concentrated all my energy. This magic was unstoppable, but it is not meant to kill. All of a sudden, Matthew began to glow. His face shone like a bright sun. Altogether, both Matthew and I shone like a bright, white star. Would this work? Am I powerful enough to pull it off? It felt as if I could do it, but there were some doubts. Could I do it? I awoke with a terrible headache. What had happened? This smell, I never smelt it before. It smells like burning fruits. Where am I? Let's see, last I remember, someone had knocked me out. I guess it was Lorka since he was talking something about me being out for a couple more hours. Still, it is not all clear to me. What is clear is that fact the he had tried to rape Joka. That was enough for me. Somehow, I had gotten out of those stinging ropes. I chucked a rock at him...what happened next? Oh yes, he tortured me. I never felt anything like it. It was like being sliced into a million pieces with a white-hot knife. After that, everything else blurs together. My eyesight failed me, and the world around me grew cold once again. But where am I now? Am I still in that treacherous room? And why can I smell so many different things? Scents that I have never even remember are now in my nose. I twitched my whiskers...MY WHISKERS???????? What the hell? This could not be a dream. The pain was much too real. Still, there was a part of me that wished I was. "What happened to me?" I wondered out loud. "Finally, you're awake. I thought I couldn't save you." That voice, it was familiar. Yes, I remember it. That beautiful voice could only belong to my lover...Joka. "Joka? Is that you? Where am I? What happened to me? And why do I have whiskers?" "Haha, just open your eyes and see for yourself." I opened them, only to stare in disbelief. My hands were covered with what seemed like soft gloves. I had nothing on my body except a white robe with strange markings around them. I felt a lump near my butt when I tried to lay down. Curious, I looked back, and saw...A TAIL??????????? Now I was really confused yet curious as I found the tail very beautiful. I started playing with it, still confused. I especially like it when the sun hit it just right. Then the fur around my tail glowed the beautiful colors of the rainbow. All of this playing, and I was still very confused. "Don't worry, love," reassured Joka, seeing the look of pure confusion on my face. "All will be revealed in the right time. For the time being, you must rest." "How can a fucking rest when I have so many questions? It's hard enough to try and not think about this fucking big headache I have." "Shhhh. Please, just listen. You are probably wondering why you have a tail and whiskers and such. If you had the time to actually look, you would see that you also have fur, like mine." I looked at my hands. Yep, she was right. I had fur on my hands, my arms, everywhere. Uh-oh, that just put a though in my head. I looked down. My robe was covering it...MY ROBE??? I don't remember changing. Still, I lifted it...SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was covered in fur, too. "Hehe. I don't think you really like looking at that, but, in time, you will learn to like it. Now, back to my explanation. You had suffered severe pain, for me. For that, I am eternally thankful. I tried my best to save you; unfortunately, one of that bastard's energy balls hit you on the chest. You were freely bleeding, and there was nothing I could do to stop it. So, I went to my last choice, I had to transform you. To do the transformation, we both had to give up some things. I had to give up my life, and all of my magic. You, however, had to give up being a human. You can never go back to your original lifestyle. I know it may be hard on you, but please, I didn't want you to die." "Wait, hold up, what do you mean your life?" "To complete the transformation, I transferred my years to you. All the years I have left in my life are now yours. In a couple more minutes, I will be no more. Still, it was worth it. I get to see your handsome face one last time. I just wish this moment could last forever, but it cannot. I must say goodbye. My time is almost up. You have to get through this world on your own from here on. I cannot aid you anymore. Please, find another and fall in love again. That is my only wish, for you to be happy in your own life." I could not believe this. I refused to. There is no way I could stand life without Joka. She is my life. I could not grant her last wish, though it was her last. There was no way I could ever fall in love with anyone after Joka. No one could measure up to Joka, not even close. Some may try, but not even another Kitsune could fill the empty spot that had filled my heart. She was my missing piece. Without it, I could not live a regular life. I would wander throughout my entire days, searching for a way to get her back, if that was even possible. Joka leaned over and I held her close. Her breaths grew sharp and irregular. "Please, don't do this Joka. I would rather die in your place than to see you die. You should never have fallen in love with me. I could never have been a good enough partner. Why me? A lot of other guys are a lot better-looking than I am. Why did you choose me out of all the rest?" "That was my choice entirely. I knew you were suffering, and I had to do something about it. I..." With those last words, she breathed her last breath. Slowly, I came to realize that nothing could be done. I stared into her eyes. There was still some life in her yet, but not enough to last long. I had to say goodbye. I loved her too much. There was no way I could let her go. Even through all of the pain, I managed four simple words that affected my heart and I'm sure hers as well. "I love you Joka..." That was all I could get out before she dispersed into thousands of shining sparkles. They lifted into the air and disappeared among the clouds. I watched the last of the sparkles disappear. Then, I just knelt there and wept bitterly... ...the end...
