Author's notes: So this is about the sixith instalation of my happy series so far, and I must confess something. I like Leon's character slightly more than Rues at the moment. My reason are my own blah blah blah but the next chapter is going to deal mostly with just his point of view of the story. With that said this chapter was excrucicatingly hard to avoid the obvious outcome of cousinly love! Still I'm glad I didn't Miles and Kodie just don't seem like they'd play by the same rules as the other two boys. All in all I'm glad of how the story has progressed and I still have much more to come. Hope you like this section just as much as the others

Enjoy

My Brother's Wants

________________________________________________________________________

"Christ Rues! Does it always hurt like this?" Leon whined, as his brother pulled the giant blanket over their tired bodies. Empathatically the little white dragon nestled his maw beneath his siblings chest and sighed. His adopted brother just felt things differently, and apperently taking it wan't as much fun for the older wolf.

"I mean seriously, man. Now I know why you screamed your head off like a little baby your first time." A swift nudge was the response to Leon's snide comment. "You'd scream too if you were knotted." Rues shot back, fingers locked around Leon's wrist. He pulled his brother's arm closer and snuggled it tightly inbetween his knees. Waves of endorphines began to slow like the changing of the tides and a sleeplyness clouded a young pair of hazy eyes. "Come on, let's not fight... right... now..." Rues murred his every thought subcumming to the pull of sleep.

Surrendoring to his weary mindset the little white dragon slipped past the threshold of conciousness and into a dream. Leon, howerver, was far from the happy place his little brother currently visited. "Damn, can't even get up to the bathroom; hell knows I need it." he mumbled uncomfortably. Softly Leon's brown paw began to wedge free from the grasp of Rues's legs as the urge to relieve himself grew to the point of intolriable. "Alright enough of this. Rues Move your ass, I've gotta' get up." No response. Damn pup must be out like a light Leon thought doing his best to shimmy out of his cozy bed.

Both hind-paws on the carpet, the search for his boxer shorts began. Dammit where did they go during the little frivolus encounter? Replaying the entire thing in his head the worn out timber did his best to mental retrace his steps. "Okay, first... First we had our big 'talk.' After that the bed, the floor, the desk..." pausing a thick blush smeared across the rigde of his muzzle. "Then Rues actually manned up and plowed me on the bed. Fuck he's big." Stirring from across the bed gave him a startle. Leon shot a glance at where his little brother had passed out but just a naisly snore was his answer. Then the silience returned. "Whatever, I give up." Leon waved a paw and decied to just roam about the hallways nude, taking his cellphone to light the way. Afterall, who'd be up at such an early hour?

As the door's hadle latched behind his sibling, Rues awoke with a jump. "Wh...Who's there?" he cried out in a timid voice, being forced from his dreamworld. His blue eyes scanned the room and then pulled the blanket up to his neck. Softly sapphire eyes flutterd and sleep began anew. Then it hit him, where was his brother? Throwing the covers into the air like an eruptiung valcano the pale little pup scanned the room once more. While his frantic search continued the sound of steps eminatted in the hallway. Rues gulped down the lump in his throat and grasped at the covers to hide his naked body.

Slowly the door across the room creaked open and a thin slice of yellow light spilled into the darkness. "Leon?" he asked in a timid voice, feeling unreasonably afriad of the figure behind the wooden barrier. The fluttering in his heart calmed as a familiar smile looked back to his worried face. "For a second there, I thought you were gone forever." Rues confessed, still halfway in the makings of a nightmare.

"Jeez man act like you got a pair, dude. I know you're only sixteen but come on, I just went to take a leak." Wow, what a bastard! How could his older brother be so damn calous all the time? Before tears could begen to fall Leon tossed something towards the bed. It bounced as it landed and Rues began searching the dimly light mound of blankets for the fallen object. As his white paws stumbled across the bed spread a small phone came into view. "What's this?" Rues asked confused at why leon just tossed a phone at him.

"Read." Leon demaned in a gruff voice. His amber eyes were nailed to the floor as he walked in and closed the door slowly. The way he said it made the entire atmosphere feel tense, like if someone had just popped a joke at a funneral. So a little befuddled by all of it, Rues flipped the screen open. Sure enough there was a text message on the display. Light from the phone blazed into blurry eyes as the young dragon read it out-loud. "Hey Leon, it's Theo. You were right and I need you." Rues paused trying to comprehend. "Who's Theodore?" he finally asked unable to put all the peices of this puzzle together.

Before an explination could be given a knock came from behind the older brother's shoulder. Perhaps they had woken someone up? Cautiosly Leon cocked his head and whisperd raspily. "Who's is it? Trying to sleep in here." Their intruder knew better. "Liar, you are not Leon. I heard you walking down past the door." Kodie's timid child-like voice came from beyond the doorway. "That jerk's snoring in there so I came to see how you two were."

"Just great." moaned Leon rubbing his forehead firmly with two fingers. "Get in here before you wake anyone else up." No more of an invintation was needed before an anxious little pup joined the boy's company. Two sets of uneasy eyes fell upon the young wolf as he made his entrance and sealed the hallway off again. "Oh, you're naked..... So what are you guys up too?"

Rues glaced over to his brother for a lead in the conversation. Solice was found in the wolf's strong stance. "Nothing, you missed all the fun ealier; we're just chilling right now. How was your night with Miles?" Shuffling his paws, Kodie kicked at imaginary things on the carpet and sighed. "We had sex, then he fell asleep; now I'm here." It was kind of a simple answer but it made Rues blush brightly at the use of a certain three letter word. Still it wasn't enough to brake up the overall drearyness in the air. Unfortantly for just being a pup Kodie was astue enough to dectact the sour mood. "Umm, what's wrong guys, you look as if a family member hasn't ever seen you naked." A crack of laughter and the melochy mood finally broke. "Well I don't think you've ever seen seen Rues here naked, have you?" Joked Leon while making his way to his bed. "Not true, I caught a glimps yesterday on the way to the mall. Ya' know changing in the car while wearing lacy panties. Oh wait, I think I see them laying right there on the chair."

A rough smile formed in the corners of Rues's maw and he nodded. Kodie always did have a way of saying just what someone needed to hear to cheer them up, even if he was awefully annoying at times. "Listen Kodie, it's been great letting it all hang out with you but... Rues and I need to discuss something; so could we get some space? You know just chill somewhere like the bathroom for a sec. or two." Whatever it was that they had to talk about, the youngest wolf pup wanted no part of. So respectfully Kodie nodded and crept back into the hallway. For him the less he knew about other's secrets, the better.

Rues's sleep heavy face turned to his brother and the desk lamp came on. Obviosly Leon did have something very important to talk about. He folded his paws in his lap and sighed. "Thanks for not instagating a three-way with Kodie," Unable to control his massive outburst of laughter, Rues smotherd his face with the pillow. That was certainly not the words he was expecting to hear next.

Once the laughing fit subsided Rues straighted his back and waited. Leon wore the most soul-crushed look, the little canine dragon was absoluty sure things were about to get ugly. Still Leon just sat in quietness. Decieding to help the flow of what needed to be said, Rues played with the tip of his tail and asked the question again. "So... umm, who's Theodore?" The young teen did his best not make the question sound in the slightest bit jealous, but rather almost simpathetic; as if the answer was already known. "Back before you and me were a... a couple, we took a drive out to a crappy burger joint..." Paused in midsentance but the timber wolf didn't need to continue. Rues now understood full well who this misterious message on the phone was from.

Something like the sounds of muffled crying came from Leon's direction. Yet the dull light shining out of the desk's pathetic bulb couldn't even show his brother's face, much less any tears that might of been. Secretly Rues was terrified. The last time they encouterd this black furred tempter, he sent Leon running away in tears. Now it was the very same fox who pleaded for affection. Could Leon even forgive him for all the suffering that was endured because of his rejection?

While Rues siliently drifetd lost in thought Leon rose off the swival chair, bracing himself with it's back. "I... We have school again after tomorrow and... Rues, I'm so fucking confused. I just want to forget that pain but..." Now the crying sounds only emerged as faint sniffles but were ever present between words. The physical distance he put between his sibling was a meak and transparent attempt to hide the emotional space he felt from the rest of his peers. He did not want to show his feelings and he did not want his little brother to know just how bad this was really hurting him.

"Listen, just turn him down, I'll be there to help you monday. If we need to skip it all together just have Kodie tell mom that you're sick." Rues did everything he possibly could to concole his older brother. One truth still remained, unpleasent as it was, it was insurmassibly unescapable. Leon put that truth to words. "Theodore's the reason we ended up together, isn't it Rues?"

He wanted to deny it. To try and reason that the feeling they had would have surfaced anyhow, but that was just a pipedream. Instead the dragon pup did the only thing he could think of, sweetly he called out a familiar lymric. "Ich lieben dich Bruderlien, kompt heir." Despite an inablity to speak the langugae fluently or even to have a tolerance for his brother's use of it, Leon turned the light off and approached the bed. He had enough struggling with it, now perhaps it could be forgotten by night's sweet embrace.

Once the covers hit his shoulder Leon growled. it wasn't very loud but enough to warrent a response from his bedmate. "We forgot about Kodie huh?" Rues asked his head turning towards his brother's shadowy face. Truth be told it was very tempting just to leave that bucket of whiny fur where he was but god knows they'd here his sob-story come morning.

"I'll go get him," Rues sigh sleepily, a little hint of unwillingness lingering in his breath. "Nah, just relax, damn pup has his enough common sense to take the hint. It's... one in the morning I'm sure he'll be just fine. Hell, let him fall alseep in the bathroom for all I care. Not like we need a nosy dope like him keeping us up 'til who knows when anyhow." Despite the rigid comment Leon was right. Kodie just loved to complain, it was practically his forte' in life. Yet despite all this Leon felt Rues's expectful eyes land on him. So he stood up again, this time b-lining for the desk lamp. "Shit, I guess I should at least go tell him to get over his brother's snoring and go back to bed. You owe me one for this mister whitey." His sentance finished by the clicking sound the little lamp made when activated and Leon brushed his head fur back. This venture out in the hall called for the useage of underpants, that much was for sure.

He searched and searched but still came up empty. Infact he couldn't even find where his pants had gotten to. "Rues, help a guy out. What did we do with half our clothing? I swear it's like the carpet got hungry and just swalled them." Flopping to his side Rues did his best to aid the search from the bed. "Think maybe they're by that clutterd pile near the door. Mom did tell you to clean in here, you know."

"I did, it just got 'un-clean' agian. If your eyes wern't always glued to the tv, you'd understand how the flow of a clean room to dirty works." He paused for a moment then shook his head in frustration. "Forget it, I'll just put on a new pair. Oh and while I'm out galivanting through the halls put on that lacy little thing you claim to be underwear. I have an unfortunet feeling a certain cry-baby might try to follow me back in here. Just call it a hunch; and I don't want to give him the wrong idea, espically knowing how you instagate things. Heaven knows Kodie is the last person I'd want a three-way with."

Leon paused mid-breath as he heard his adopted brother freeze standing up. "A threesome huh?" Rues giggled and streached his arms like a plane about to take flight. Nerviously Leon chuckled and a sheepish grin dripped across his muzzle. "Yeah..." he snickerd with a mixture hesitance and curiosity. "Say Rues, I don't suppose you know Kodie's big secret do you?" It was a question to be asked casuosly, to let Rues open his mouth and blurt out something pertnint about the wolf without thinking; just like a teenager normally would. Good thing the little dragon wasn't the exception to that rule.

"What, you mean that he's got a crush on me? When did he tell... you... tha... HEY! Wait a second, he didn't tell you that yet; did he?!?" Blurting out the sensitve information made Rues feel awefully foolish that he could walk so easily into his brother's simple mind trap. Chuckiling contently, Leon adjusted a pair of gray sweatpants to his waist and looked bed-side at his brother.

"Yeah, he sure did. 'Cause you know me and the Kodster share everything." He could berely complete the sarcastic little taunt before erupting into laughter. "Damn little dope, you're easy to fool. Now I have a sure-fire way to get him to leave us alone; I'll just threaten to tell Miles." Blue eyes light up across the room like explosions contained by Rues's face. "NO! Wait..." He protested with his tail going tense. Wait? Why bother doing that? A thought began to surface in Leon's mind, one he found very troublesome. Could it be that in someway his little brother repricated their cousin's feelings?

The outcry of 'no' still echoed in the wolf's head and Rues drilled his eyes into the ground before him. He was in too deep agian, perhaps this room had that affect on him. Perhaps Rues just pushed boundries of relationships by nature. Whatever it was, it made Leon's stomach churn.

Taking the first step off the cliff, Leon opend his heart. "Before you ask, I'll just say no. I really don't protest a threesome by principle, just the effect it would have. We're taking a lot of risks just with you and me carrying on how we do. Add a third you know a four would come to join. That's why I didn't make such a big deal out of Theo's offer. Rues, I just want it to be you and me okay?" A queit nod, Rues foled his tail around and held it in his arms. True, he was a little dissopointed but knew his brother was right. No sense risking what they had.

Creaking as it opened Leon pulled the door open and waved to his little brother who stood still dressing. "Give me my phone for a sec I need to set the alarm on it." Doing as instructed Rues tossed it to him lightly. An easy catch. After that Leon stepped into the hallway boldy. His mission was simple, in priciple at least. Just tell that cry-baby to get his rump back to bed.

Strolling down towards the bathroom, Leon caught a look at his cousin before Kodie even noticed the approach. Sure enough he was waiting ever paitienly (well as paitently as a fifthteen year old could) just outside the bathroom. "Yo!" Leon called out casually. "Hey," Kodie replied inching his weight off the wall behind him. "You guys all done doing whatever cause I wanna' hang out with Rues and you." This was going to be a pain. Sighing Leon swallowed his anger and tried to remain calm.

"Dude, (little twerp) just call it a night man. Rues has a big test tomorrow and needs to triple 'Z' it or else he might flunk." There let's see him argure with that Leon thought snidley. Sadly Kodie could argue with ANYTHING. "Well maybe I could help him study, I am in advance placement classes and I bet he wouldn't mind."

Good god this kid does have the hots for him, what a slut! Still Leon couldn't fire insult after insult at his cousin like he so longed to. "Fine, in the morning though. Now go play with Miles. I need my sleep too." Fourtuniltly Kodie gave up and hung his head down low feeling defeated. Age was probably a factor to Leon's victory of the mouth battle they both thought parting for their respective beds. Swishing his tail pleaently surpised by the smoothness of it all Leon re-enterd the bedroom for the third time that night.

"There problem solved." He said his back to the bed and pushing the door closed. Once the familar clicking of the lock sounded the older sibling looked to see his brother's reaction. Instead of seeing a slightly dissopinted dragon he saw instead an unconsious one. Figures, he would pass the hell out, wouldn't he? Leon thought, amused by the half dress body on the bed before him. Not even bothering to turn off the lamp Leon scuffled over to his side of the bed and fell face first, plummititng into sleep. At least now everthing could wait until tomorrow.
