One Year Surprise

Razor stopped the bike in front the familiar brick fronted townhouse. The arctic white vixen was sitting on the stairs in front of the door. He took the helmet off his head and looked over at Sarah with a smile. They had been going out for a year now and the black and red wolf could say that it was probably the best year of his life.

She stood up and bounded towards him, obviously excited for their date, despite not knowing what was going to happen. He had wanted to keep today a secret for her, surprise her like no other could. As she reached the curb, the wolf braced for the hug he was about to receive.

"Razor!" she yelled, her arms wrapping around his neck as she literally jumped on him.

The wolf leaned into Sarah's neck and breathed deeply in. She smelled like sunflowers and that always made him smile. His paw snaked around her, coming to rest in the small of her back, right above her tail. The two lovers stayed locked together like that for a few moments, feeling each other and smelling any differences that may have occurred since the last time they had seen each other.

Finally, after nearly five minutes, The vixen pulled away and looked him squarely in the eye, "So what is the plan for today?"

Razor smiled and kissed her deeply. He watched as her eyes drifted closed. Once they were completely shut she released a soft moan and her body relaxed against his paw. He loved this process, this sound that she made as he entered her mouth with his tongue and softly massaged hers. It was even better since they were on the street and everyone could see exactly how much the wolf loved the arctic fox.

"I could go for more of that," she said brightly as the wolf released her.

"I bet you could," Razor commented with a laugh.

"But seriously, what is this big surprise?"

"If I told you now, it would not be much of a surprise, now would it?" he said, reaching back and grabbing the extra helmet of the sissy bar.

Sarah took it and pulled it over her head, reaching up and making sure her ears were in a comfortable position. She looped the strap through the D-rings and pulled it tight under her muzzle. Razor smiled at her since he thought she always looked so adorable in the helmet. Her black tipped nose stuck out and then it was just white fur in the mass of black gleam. The wolf through his own helmet on with ease, snapping the buttons so they were secure before tipping down the visor.

He gripped the handle bars and pushed the bike up from the kickstand. He planted his foot paws squarely to give him the extra support he would need. Sadly, Sarah was still not very good and getting on or off the bike. He waved her on, preparing to be suddenly thrown off balance by her crazy actions.

That was not exactly the case, though. She gripped him tightly on the shoulders and swung her leg up carefully. It brushed against the sissy bar, which made the bike rock a little, but it was not the normal amount of jostling around. The wolf heard her kick down either of the foot pegs before squiggling in and putting her foot paws up on them.

"Ready!" she declared as she wrapped her arms around his waist.

Razor chuckled and pulled the clutch and lifted his foot to push the bike into first gear. He turned his head back to her. "Hold on tight," he said before pulling the throttle and taking off. The bike clicked seamlessly from gear to gear and Sarah leaned with him just right from corner to corner.

They zoomed out of the town, each stoplight being farther apart than the last. The houses and business became fewer and fewer and by the time Sarah fully realized what was going on, they were climbing the road up the mountains. The sun was falling in the sky, providing a nice pinkish orange over tone to the clear and otherwise blue sky.

"Where are we going?" she yelled up to him.

"Almost there!" he yelled back, "Just be patient."

The bike winded around the road and Razor let go of the throttle a little bit as the road became more narrow. Sarah released her grip from him a little bit, relaxing against the sissy bar now that they were the only vehicle on the road. Sadly, the moment was short lived as Razor pulled over to the side of the road and put the bike in neutral a few moments later.

Once he was squared with the ground, Sarah swung off, this time not as gracefully as before. Her leg got caught on the seat and her tail was tangled around the sissy bar. Razor kept correcting the balance, not wanting to drop the bright blue beauty on the ground. Soon, though, she was off and straightening out her shirt. The wolf laughed lightly, making her look up at him.

"What?" she asked.

"Your helmet is still on," he said with a bright green being revealed as he put up the visor. He pushed the kick stand down with his foot and allowed the bike to rest on the leg. He quickly dismounted the bike and took off his helmet for the second time that day.

"Now where too?" she said as she placed the helmet on the back.

"Up the path a bit."

The white vixen huffed in protest, but once she saw Razor heading up she quickly followed. He led her through the trees and brush, making sure to offer his paw when the terrain got a little rough.

"Now close your eyes," he said as he blocked her from the end of the path.

"Razor," she said with a frown, "what are you doing?"

"Just trust me and close your eyes."

Reluctantly, the vixen did so and then held out her paws when he instructed her to do so. Razor led her carefully around the end of the path before letting go of her paws and walking behind her. His arms wrapped gently around her waist and his muzzle rested next to her ears.

"Open," he whispered.

Sarah opened her eyes and saw the beautiful scenery before her. The sky was painted dark blue with pink and orange against the horizon. The cliff overlooked the town, little lights coming on like fireflies against the ground. He had laid out a blanket earlier and set up a basket with dinner in it.

"Happy Anniversary," Razor said with a smile.

Sarah turned her head to look back at him and smiled brightly. Her muzzle touched his for a deep kiss. Her body followed, turning in his arms until she was flush against him. Her paws went up and caressed his muzzle as she pulled away.

"Thank you," she said.

"Anything for you," he said, separating from her and pulling a lighter out of his pocket. He walked over and lit the three candles that were on the center of the blanket before turning back to her.

"Shall we have some dinner, my love?" he asked offering his paw to her.

"Sounds fantastic," she said taking his paw and moving down to the ground. "I love you, Razor."

"I love you, too," he said.

With that, the two canines sat and ate a simple dinner against the wonderful backdrop. They spoke of what the past year had brought and what the next year would bring. Once dinner was done, they watched the sun finish setting before packing up the picnic and walking back to the bike, quite sure to have a pleasant evening once they got back to the townhouse.
