#10 of The Scent of a Lover
Part 10 is here! Rejoice! Remember that prediction I made in Part 5 that there would be 10 parts? Well it turns out I was nowhere near that number. I think there might be 15 at this rate. Anyway thank you all for all the faves, watches, and votes! I really appreciate them! This part will still go in and out of Talbain's and Collin's view. It has been a week since the party at the Krisa castle and I must say I am glad we were banned from it. Ever since Raoul tried to have his way with me Talbain has been even more extremely protective of me. Despite that I think our last week could be described as sweet, tender moments instead of romantic.
First Talbain made me his engagement gift.
"Collin I have something for you" Talbain said smiling holding something around his back.
"Oh? What is it?" I asked
Talbain showed his arms to me and in his hands was a long, red scarf. It was well made and was made by the smoothest and finest silk I have ever seen. Around the edges there was letters spelling 'Collin and Talbain forever, I love you' It was the most sweetest thing I have ever recieved and I blushed when I read the message and put it around my neck.
"What do you think my love?" Talbain asked as if a bit nervous I didn't like it.
"Talbain, I love it! Did you make it?" I asked feeling the fine silk.
"Of course my love" He said also feeling the silk.
I was amazed Talbain made this for me! I never figured him for a tailor or anything related to scarf making. But I looked at his hands and realized he still had some long claws and it must have made it even more difficult to make this.
"How long did it take you to make this? I mean with your long claws and all."
"It took me quite awhile but it was worth it! I had to practice on a few other things before I finally got it down!" he said happily.
"Oh? Can I see the other things you made?" I asked, I wonder if this was a hobby of Talbains or something?

"Oh! uumm...I can't" I said a bit embarrassed and blushing underneath my fur
"Why not?" Collin said with a innocent, confused face
"I uummm sold them! To the villagers of Neos! They need some scarfs and I found a bunch of material in your attic to make some! I saved the best stuff to that scarf for you of course!" I said think of the best lie I could tell.
Collin seemed to believe it, thank goodness! Of course if he were to ever check my closet he would find some......strange things. Like the countless blankets saying Collin+Talbain in the middle of a heart or a bunch of my little doll figures I made of him and me and played with him when he was gone.
Of course since Collin will be here most of the time when his school is out there will be no need of those silly things because I will have my real mate to love and protect.
Another thing about me is that I usually cuddle Collin when we are in his bedroom sleeping together. He takes off his shirt most of the time so I hold him to my barechest to his bareback. I don't know why it's like a reflex I do, after all I want to protect my mate.
Collin one night had to go out partolling at midnight because he saw a distant fire and wondered if they were vampires, it turned out it was a bunch of graduated college students celebrating there freedom. Collin got home at 12:30 and said he saw me on the bed twisting and turning my body and moving my arms around the bed to find something to cuddle with.
He said all the pillows and blankets were either on the floor or almost off the bed as I desperatly searched the bed for him and his sexy bareback. Collin also said I was whimpering softly and made muffled sounds as if I was trying to call out for him. He said when he touched my shoulder hoping to wake me up I suddenly grabbed him by the waist and pulled him into the bed and with a sudden reflex pulled off his shirt and sighed peacefully.
I licked his back and hair for a few moments before Collin said I mumbled something "Keep him safe.....my....sexy mate" I said holding him a bit tighter to my chest. The next morning was akward.
"Say Talbain? How am I as a mate?" he said with a teasing grin.
"Your the most handsome mate I could have ever wished for." I said
"Really? Could you say I was your......'sexy mate'..." He said with a cat like grin.
I blushed a bright red when he said I mumbled that in my sleep.....I could have sworn I only thought that!

The next night I decided to have some fun with his rumbling. At about 1 AM I heard Talbain mumbling again and decided to act like a different werewolf trying to get me.
"Hey....thats my human mate" I said changing my voice to a werewolf tone
"Umm?.....no its my human mate.....go get.....your own" Talbain said holding me a bit tighter, still in the middle of his sleep talking.
"No thats my human mate I claimed him"
"Like hell you did.....Collin is mine..."
"I want him" I said
"Well.....I need him" Still dream talking
"Fine looks like I'm going to have to take him away from you." I said starting to pull against his hold probably making him think someone was trying to take me away.
Talbain began to hold me as tight as he could and I was stilling trying to pull away from him, I was almost dying of supressed laughter as I said
"I want him!"
"No...he's mine!" Talbain said a bit more loudly trying to cuddle his mate
Finally after awhile of the struggle I gave up and let Talbain cuddle me closely.
"Fine have him....I didn't really want him anyway" I said in between little chuckles and giggles.
"Just jealous.....you can't....have.....the sexiest mate that ever lived" Talbain said embracing me.
I decided to keep this night a secret to myself. We were now just helpless for each other sometimes just stareing into each others eyes without saying a word to each other. Until
"I think it's so cute" Talbain said smiling at me.
"Whats cute?"
"Well first of all you and that how a hunter is head over heels in love with me." He said still smiling
"If I'm head over heels, what would that make you?" I asked
"Deeply in love but not as much as you are for me."
"What do you mean?"
"Well I heard about when I was little is how that hunters are suppose to be very dutiful to their job but its so cute to see you completely abandon that for me." He said still smiling.
"What are you talking about? Your completely all over me." I said feeling a challenge beginning.
"Am not!"
"How about a bet?"
"A bet?" Talbain asked
"We have a little flirting contest. The rules are that we can't touch the other and that the first one who admits defeat makes the other do something a bit humuliating." I said with a smile
"Like what?"
I went upstairs and retreived a thing I found in the attic.
"You have to wear this!" I said holding out a collar
It was pink and had flowers all over it saying things like 'boys toy' and 'hot dog' I smiled evily at Talbains expression.
"And this will be your new engagment collar if I win" I said adding insult to injury.
Talbain blushed but quickly thought of a better prize.
"And if I win, you won't go back to school next year so I can have you all to myself and do what I want to you" He said ending it with a sexy growl.
"Deal" We both said in unison and decided the bet would begin tomorrow.
I woke up early and decided to make pancakes for breakfast, making them into heart shapes and using the syrup to say 'Collin <3's Talbain' among other things. I heard Talbain come down the stairs and strecked his beautiful chest right in my direction. I looked at it in awe for awhile, Talbain noticed it to.
"Like what you see? You can touch them if you want too" he said grinning knowing if I did the bet would be over quickly.
"N-No thanks!" I said turning away still cooking and handing him the pancakes which he ate quickly.
He smiled and blushed at the shape of the pancakes and I knew he purposely got some syrup on his muzzle to tease me.
"Oh no Collin, looks like I got some syrup on my muzzle and I can't quite reach it with my tonuge.....can you use yours?" He asked still smiling evily.
Holy Crap he serious about this this bet. I threw him a bunch of napkins.
"Here use these. I have to go to school" I said quickly rushing out the door.
The school days here were more about your physical health and they usually held gym fitness stuff outside.

When I reached the school I noticed there was a bunch of workout equipment outside. I looked around for Collin but when I spotted him he already spotted me first. He went over to a large blue mat sitting on the floor where a few others were strecking.
Suddenly Collin was bending and flexing in positions I didn't believe possible and worst! Most of the were vulgar and sexy! He never moved like that for me, all of my positions I wanted to put him in fantasties might come true now I- Before I could finish my thoughts I noticed my tail was wagging and I was panting and thumping my legs against the ground.
I was embarrassed out of my mind and knew Collin was prepared to fight back with flirting too. No matter! That was probably the best shot he had anyway.
(3 days later)
Okay Collin is a master at teasing and we seem to be equal matches for each other. I am starting to lose control of some of my parts and there just want to have at him as he is teasing but No! I can't lose! Collin left to get some stuff from the stores and I was left at home thinking about ways to make him fall for me.
I couldn't think off anything before I heard the front door open and Collin entered.
"Hey Talbain I'm back!" he said happily
"Hey! what did you get?"
Collin reached into the bed and started to pull out some things
"You know the usual, some food, water, some clothes......and some oil" he said looking at me with an evil grin
Oh dear god what was he up to now?
"Well first let me show you what clothes I bought" he said slowly taking off his shirt
My stomach started to feel light.
"But I have a concern about this oil" he said picking it up
"It looked like it was very easy to break like if I only squeezed it a bit it would-" He said until
The oil bottle cap exploded leaving Collins barechest to be completely covered in it and make my face burn and turn a bright red. His body was shining off the setting sun and he decided to rub the oil around his sexy chest to tease my even more.
"Oh No Talbain! I got this oil all over me.....what ever shall I do?" He said softly and sexy
My left arm gave in to the teasing and went out to touch Collin's chest but my right arm barely managed to hold it back. My feet wanted to run at Collin but my knees all the force the could use to hold them back.....He went for the big guns this time! I looked at him for awhile before just barely managing to say.
"Y-Y-You should go take a shower" I said running upstairs to my room shutting the door hoping to spare me from the great desire and temptation downstairs.
Holy Crap! If he teases like that again! I don't think I will be able to hold myself back. The last nights of being alone were miserable enough to not hold him but now! That wasn't fair! After an hour or so I decided I had enough I went downstairs noticing Collin dressed again and looked like he did indeed take a shower. Before I could speak he laid down on the couch.
"Collin I-"
"Talbain I have had enough...you win....I am clearly more obessessed about you then you are with me....so go ahead rub it in my face-"
I jumped at Collin and with me being on top of him on the couch I kissed him passionatly which he returned.....All I could think about at the time was.......Why were we trying to flirt with each other?

I only had about a 2 weeks and a half left of school and I couldn't be more happier! I'm sure Talbain was more excited then I was but still! I noticed we ate alot from the last few days and I needed to make another stop at the grocery store. Talbain was insistant to come with but I talked him out of it.
"I'll be fine Talbain, its just a grocery routine nothing bad will happen to me." I said
"Yea but-"
"Besides shouldn't you be going to the villages trying to gain there loyalty and fix any problems?"
".........Fine......" he said sad to leave as he went off to the plains
I got on my motorcycle and went into town, there weren't many cars about but still otherwise not anything out of the ordinary. I quickly got the food we needed and headed out the door going towards my motorcycle until....
"Help! Somebody! HELP ME!" someone was shouting
He sounded like a middle aged man I thought maybe it was normal thing like he couldn't lift something until I heard a growl.....from a werewolf.....
The shouts seemed to be from nearby. I dropped my bags and headed over to my motorcycle, grabbing my guns and supplies I needed and went off on foot to help the man. It only sounded like it came from a block away so turning on my motorcycle would have seem like a waste of precious time to save the man.
I ran down the block and waited for another shout hoping the man would still be alive....thankfully
"HELP ME PLEASE!"
it sounded like it was another block away. I ran down that block then to another and another until I noticed I was leaving the city limits. How was I hearing this man yell for help if he was this far away maybe I should go back to the mot-
"Please for the love of god! HELP ME!"
There was no time! I continued to run out of the city until I saw a secluded forest and where the shouts seemed to be coming from. I ran past the bushes and trees hoping I was going to make it on time to save the poor man.

I went to the village of Kal Sharok and went to the mayor and asked him for any problems in his village....I think the conversation went like this...
"Hey! Need any help with anything?!" I asked hoping to go back to Collin as soon as possible.
"Nope! I think were alright here!" he said a bit stunned at me offer to help
"Okay goodbye!" I said taking off and heading back to the mansion.
Horray for me! More time with Collin! I was happy and wondered....should we have sex again tonight? It's been awhile and I would like to again.....
I was back at the mansion and went inside yelling for Collin
"Collin I'm back! Collin!....Collin?" I said looking around the mansion
He wasn't here....I could have sworn he would be back by now...what if-! No! I can't overreact again like last time! I remembered once Collin went out to get some parts for his motorcycle once and he wasn't back on the agreed time....I took off running in my regular wolf form barking like crazy for him.....it turned out he was just helping a lady cross the street and he was only 5 minutes behind the agreed time.......He threaten if I did that something like that again he wouldn't let me sleep with him for a week.
I hated the idea of that......So i sat on the couch waiting for my mate to come back.
(Collin's view)
I don't know how long I was running in the forest or how deep I was into it but I knew I had to be close to the middle of it. The shouts were a bit softer now and finally I came to a clearing....
I saw a werewolf with a dark robe on looking down at the ground as if waiting for something before I could say anything I noticed a human with the same robe on with a strange symbol in the middle of it exited out of a nearby tree. Both were standing next to each other as if they accepted each other as equals and looked at me as if studying me.
Did I fall into some kind of trap?
Suddenly 3 more figures appear from the trees about 40 feet away all looking right at me......3 werewolfs and 2 humans standing side by side with the same robes with the symbol on them....the symbol looked like some kind of human bone hand and werewolf claw mixed together.
"Who are you people?!" I demanded.
A werewolf stepped forward and I knew he was the leader of the group.
"A group of people.....with certain........interests" He said calmly with a blank face.
"Whats going on here?!"
"We are looking for someone.......someone we believe you have....."
"I don't know what youre talking about I liv-"
"Were looking for Talbain" he said interupting me
Who were these people?! I could feel the magical energy coming from them.....even though Talbain had a bit a magic in him it was no where near to the feeling right now.
"I don't know any Talbain." I said wondering if i was going to have to fight
"We know he lives with you and has been for awhile now....and that at first he was just using you as protection"
"H-How do you know that?!" I said amazed at his knowlegde
"We hear the wind tell stories and the grass tell us where you have been, and the trees are our eyes" he said looking at the forest around him.
"What do you want with Talbain?! Did Raoul send you?!" I said reaching into my jacket for a gun.
"No....we are not simply bounty hunters or assassins.....we are....much more then that" he said calmly
"Then what do you want?!"
"We want Talbain.......or you" he said narrowing his eyes a bit
"What?"
"I can sense it.....you have the scent of a lover....you and Talbain....are mates aren't you?"
How does he know this?! How does he make these connections?!
"And if we are?!"
"Then that is a problem for our plans......"
"What Plans?!?!" I demanded.
"I'm afraid I can't tell you our plans but what I can tell you......is that either you or Talbain will die today."
I pulled out my M9 ready to kill this werewolf that made a threat like that to me and Talbain....but he didn't moved, he didn't even flinch or blink! None of them did as if they didn't see a threat in me.
"You fucking try to hurt my mate and I'LL KILL YOU!"
"Are you saying you will be the one to die today?" he asked curious if thats what I meant.
"Even if I did tell you where Talbain is, whats going to stop you from killing me?" I said trying to defeat his logic
There was a silence between the 5 dark robed men and me.....I've never heard of a group that had both humans and werewolves in it! Who in the hell were these people?! Suddenly something appeared from the leaders robe and it slashed my across the chest as quick as I could blink. I fell over to the ground and got quickly back up ready to shot until.........
"The Scar of Truth" he calmly said with that strange whip going up his arm.
I looked down at my chest and saw a slashed across my heart yet it didn't bleed or hurt....it was a bright green....Where have I seen this before?
"I believe Talbain showed you it before" he said slashing his own chest with the tip of his whip
What in the hell? Wait I remember this......Talbain showed me it in a spell book....it was an advance spell, appearently it was a spell that forced two people to tell the truth to each other or else the scar would send a deadly poison into you and after a minute would kill you if you didn't tell the truth.
"How do I know if this is the real Scar of Truth spell?!" I could be being fooled by this man.
"Well lets see......I'm a girl-" he lied suddenly a hissing sound came out of his chest and the scar was sending poison into him and he tried to deal with the pain but fell to his knees.
"I'm a male, I'm a male." He said struggling with the poison
It was indeed the scar of truth spell, but why would he use this?
"Do you believe me or do you want to try it yourself?" he said standing up.
"Fine its the scar of truth but what do you want?!" I demanded.
"Right now a simple choice from you..."
"What?"
"A choice......either you tell us where Talbain is and we will fight him and leave you alone forever.....or we fight you and no matter what the outcome......we leave Talbain alone forever."
I waited awhile to see if the spell would hurt him...but...it didn't! He was telling the truth! I-Theres no way I could take one all of these guys but.....Talbain.....he couldn't survive a fight like this either.....I could-I could whistle for him and fight together but......the scar, and the odds....I would die for sure no matter the outcome by either the fight or the spell by lying about the choice.......Talbain......I love you......I would do anything for you......I would even......die for you.
I pulled out a second pistol and pointed it at the werewolf leader.
"It's obvious what I chose.....prepare yourself to face me. I only ask that you don't hurt Talbain!" I said choosing me as the opponent.
"So be it" The leader werewolf looked down and pointed his finger at me and the rest of the group attacked me.
They were fast...very fast more faster then Talbain.....I barely dodged the slashes of the werewolfs and the strange knives the humans held and got a few cuts here and there but otherwise fine....I picked out on of them in the trees and unloaded both of my clips at him but he easily dodged all of them....as if he had super speed or eyesight
When I was shooting i left myself open to a side attacked and a human got a slice across my cheek which cause me to bleed out. I jumped back but he tackled me with more force them Talbain ever did and was about to stab me right in the head. I used one of my arms to hold back the knife while I reached for a weapon in my jacket with my other hand.
By miracle I grabbed on of my sawn off shotguns and pointed it at his gut and pulled the trigger letting his blood flow all over my chest and giving me enough time to kick him off and shot him again from the ground....killing him instantly...
I sighed a breath of relief until a pair of werewolf hands grabbed me and threw my so hard to a tree I heard the tree snap.....or maybe it was my spine...It slashed me numerous times all over my body and punched me so hard that more blood came out of my open wounds....I could feel the life draining out of me...
I use my head, literally to headbutt him across the muzzle which was followed by a sickening crack...I broke his muzzle and with a quick motion I took out my machete and sliced it across his throat nearly taking his head off...he was dead before he hit the ground.
I dropped to my knees in agony feeling my wounds wondering how I was even still moving. Until a fireblast hit me from behind....I swear I thought fire couldn't hurt my back anymore even though the torture over the years lightened the blow....It still hurt like crazy. I saw so much blood on the ground where I was standing.....was all this....mine?
I stood up and quickly turned around see the 2 of them using swords I didn't see them take out and engaged me melee to melee.....I was so weak.....I barely managed to block them, some though got through and made me feel...empty....
With the remainder of my strength I gave on finally blow and got a deep cut against the werewolfs kidney but that was all I had left. Suddenly I felt these things wrapped around my arms and legs and held me up and open causing me to bleed out what little blood I had left....
I rememberd the leader werewolf never even tried to fight me and let his comrades do all the work for him. The weird wires were coming out of a black hole in the middle of the air and the hole looked like it was from hell. I couldn't struggle....I had so very little left .......even to breath....
"What should we do with him?" The human one asked
"Kill him....look at what he did to me! And to Gromm and Alex!" the injured werewolf demanded
"Yes, he must have some power to kill 2 of us and injure another...Well done Collin.....there are not many who can claim the same....but of course thats not much of a reward...Ian! Look into his deepest fears!" The leader ordered
The human one approached me nearly face to face, his eyes turned black and despite my best efforts to look away it was like I was drawn to them.
"Interesting." he said looking away.
"What is it?" The leader asked
There was no more words between the 3 only a quick staredown.....then evil smiles appeared on their faces....
"You failed Collin but thats not much of a surpized you were always the failure" the human named Ian said changing his face to.......Oh my god......my father.
"Killed by a bunch of cultist we should have never had you" The leader turned his face to my mothers
"Prepare to face_A world of hurt Collin" _ The injured one said changing into one of my brothers.
All of them held long knives and were chuckling evily as they were getting closer and closer to me...
"no......No!....NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" I sreamed stabbed and cut me until-

Okay he's 30 minutes late surely he must understand my concern if he's this late! I ran out the door and turned into my regular wolf form walking calmly to the grocery store....I could smell his scent and saw the scent lead into and out of the store I followed it until.....
I saw on the sidewalk......2 bags of groceries on the concrete spilling there contents.....I saw in the distance Collin's motorcycle.....and his weapon compartment wide open but empty.....I panicked and started barking as loud as I could all over.
"Something is wrong! SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG!" I said to myself
I followed the scent until I reached a group of girls knowing one of them....Lindsay
"Hey thats Collin's do- I mean wolf! Whats the matter boy?"
It killed me not to just say it but I needed more eyes to help me look for Collin finally after a series of questions they gave me they got the idea.
"I think Collin's missing.Girls! Call your boyfriends and tell them to help search for Collin!" They all wiped out cell phones and started talking into them.
"Here you can stay with me for now-" Lindsay said trying to lead me to her house
But i broke free and followed Collin's fleeting scent. I finally got his trail and it was leading out of the city....Why? What was he doing leaving the city? I was about a couple hundred yards from the city limits before I smelt....
I froze....my blood and body seemed to turn to ice as I recongized the smell......my worst nightmare and the scent I never wanted to smell......Blood........Collin's Blood....as if someone tossed it into the air. I took off as fast as I could yelping and barking for him until I noticed a forest in the distance and smelt Collin's blood coming from it.......OH NO! He could have been lead into a trap!
I entered the forest screaming his name.
"COLLIN! COLLIN! COLLIN!"
I noticed something on a tree....a bullet hole, as i looked at it I noticed a trail a bullets and blood...some of it Collin's some of it someone else's. I followed it until I reached a clearing and saw a forest nearly destroyed around me....Blood, weapons, and bullet casings were scattered everywhere. Two bodies were on the ground one human the other a werewolf....the human wasn't Collin as both were wearing these strange black robes and seemed to be dead.
My attention though, was focused on these 3 figures looking down at massive tree blocking the view of the bottom of it. 2 of them werewolves and one of the was holding there side and was wounded another was a human again who wasn't Collin.....Did I fall into a trap?
I took a few steps forward before they turned around noticing me presense. They were all smiling.
"AH! It's about time you got here! He said you would come for him but.....I'm not impressed on the time" the werewolf who wasn't injured said.
"WHERE IS HE?! WHERE IS COLLIN?!" I growled loudly
"We were so bored and disappionted by your absense we had no choice but to throw some of your mates blood into the air and see if you would come." the human one said, all of them still blocking the bottom of the tree.
"WHERE IS HE!?!?!? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HIM?!?!?!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.
With a calm smile the werewolf leader stepped aside and.......the image before me would scar me for life
......Collin.....cover in blood.......with massive and deep cut that look like they went into the bone......his hands or anything else not moving not even the slight breeze....His head was down and I could see blood dripping out of his opened mouth....and the whole bottom of the tree was splatter with his blood......Collin wasn't moving....
"C-Collin?" I said stunned and frozen
He didn't move....he didn't respone in any way to his name or my presense
"C-COLLIN?!"
......nothing.......
"Its such a shame......he managed to kill 2 of us before he died....he might have been useful" the leader said taunting Collin's death
.........da thump........................................................da thump...................................................................da thump all I could hear was my heart and the werewolf monsters taunts. My vision completely focused on Collin's lifeless body
"He was crying out 'Talbain save me! Please Talbain help!'

"We took our time killing him of course.....you should have seen his face...."

"He didn't die peacefully, I think he died choking on his own blood, but he still kept his faith that you would come in time to save him"

My heart was racing and my vision turned red and I let my anger unleash itself.
"shut up..........SHUT UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!" I screamed before a massive blast a red magical enegy engulfed me.
I got on all fours but was still in anthro form.....my chest and muscles started to grow twice there orginal size, My muzzle and teeth and fangs started to grow too out of my mouth and nearly passed my jaw, my claws that were 3 inches before were now past 6 inches and growing. My fur that was once gray turned blood red and my chest that was pale white was now bright angel white. My once green happy eyes turned blood red and were now screaming murder. My voice had changed aswell......I was almost feral.
"YOOOOUUUU!!...........YOU KILLED MY MATE.........I KILL YOU A MILLION TIMES WORSE AND SEND YOUR SOUL SCREAMING INTO HELL!!!!" I screamed in my demonic voice.
The red energy that engulf me made me faster, as I charged at them it left crushed sinkholes where my feet were. If my enemies didn't take me seriously then, they do now as the moved quickly to side while I layed my first target after the leader. He was barely able to dodged my strikes and slashes and was clearly in a difficult fight. I got a cut across his face before with a mighty kick he hit me to the ground.
He was clearly angry but suddenly his chest burned a light green and noticed the green scar across his chest. The others came to him.
"Sir you can't-" the human one said
"I know" he interupted
"Well done Talbain, I think I saw what I wanted to see from you.....I'll leave you to your mate" he said with a grin
I stood up and slashed as hard as I could against all of them......but they suddently turned into dark clouds and vanished before my strike hit them.....Angry out of my mind I began to take big smell around the area....I could only smell about 1 mile ahead of me in my usual form but in this form....I could smelll 50 times that! But still......nothing........I growled and yelled loudly after each smell.
I then howled as loud as I could and began to punch the ground leaving great sinkholes into the ground and I think maybe break my hands........My red energy was fading and I began to realized my humuliation.....
"They-they got away." I said looking down defeated.
I turned my head towards Collin laying against the tree.....he didn't move at all during the whole battle, anything alive would have tried to move away from that battle....but
"Collin!" I said crying letting tears pour down my face and yelping and whimpering loudly.
I grabbed his face and turned it towards me his eyes were closed and.....looked dead.....
"No....NO! Collin! I'm sorry! I'M SORRY COLLIN! I WASN'T THERE! I WASN'T IN TIME! I DIDN'T KNOW!" I scream holding him hoping to get some response from him.....nothing....
I laid my head to his chest and whimpered loudly....I failed......I failed him.......I was to late...

My head shot up and I looked at Collin for awhile hoping my ears weren't playing tricks!

His heart! It was still beating! He was still alive!
.......just barely alive!
