Santolo was furious, you could see it in his eyes. Whenever he was happy they were glazed over as if cartoon eyes, but now all that was left were too narrow slits of eyes that looked like they had belonged to a dragon. Lupo was confused at the question how long as if he actually cared about what happened to him. He looked over to Santolo's mate Nathan, he looked worried and there was good reason to be. He followed Nathan's eyes which was staring at Lupo's left ear which now had on it a piercing, a single black bead that probably cost no more than 10 dollars,
"You like it?"
Lupo tried to sound happy but it came out only sounding like he was going to cry. His eyes drifted to his Kangaroo mate who was near crying himself.

Adam had to stop before he burst into tears. Santolo broke apart from the circle and waved at them to follow him into the house, once inside they sat at the dinner table where Santolo placed a mirror at one of the seats.
"This can't be allowed to continue, look at what they've managed to do to Lupo."
Lupo looked down at the mirror and felt self conscious for having the other 3 members of the table stare at his face, ears, and arms.
"Do you do that yourself?"
Nathan whispered to Lupo pointing a finger at the hash marks across his arm. Lupo couldn't say anything but cover his face with his hands and nod slowly. Nathan looked onward to Adam who stared at Lupo's cuts counting them with his finger, there was at least 30.
"Lupo, why do you cut yourself, please tell me."
Adam's eyes could holdback no longer as he whimpered and tears rolled down his fur. Lupo couldn't bare to see his boyfriend cry, he covered his eyes and brought down his ears to block out the noise.
"Lupo, we can fight them, I've seen you before you can fight, me and Nathan will help but you can't let them win. Please stop cutting your arms, every slash means another day they own you. Please stop."
Santolo's words penetrated Lupo's head and all he could do was nod still to choked up to answer.
"Why don't we get the police involved, they can arrest Olly and his gang."
Adam was trying to be the voice of reason.Finally breaking out of his hold on himself Lupo slammed his hands on the table causing all the others to jump with alarm.
"The police can arrest whoever the fuck they want after I'm done with them."

"I'm with you through thick and thin."
They all proceeded to get up from the table and return outside. They brought out some lawn chairs and set them up so they could talk while still being able to see the ravine and here when Mrs. Kiper came home. The grass was very green on Santolo's lawn he really didn't understand why his and Adam's was so much more dead than this.
"Whenever your ready to fight we'll wait for you in the ravine."
Nathan sounded so serious, it was so different from his usual cheery nature but these were serious times.
"Well school is over in about 3 weeks or so. When I go to school without the earing then it will be time to strike."
Lupo was sure that Oliver's gang could kill them all easily, so he would need some time to think out a strategy.
"Alright, then sounds like a plan to me, we can talk later on the bus you should get back home now."
Adam shook his head and made his way for the gate, obviously eager to call it a day and go home before any more un wanted surprises come their way. Lupo followed in Adam's path waving to their new friends before closing the gate behind him and vanishing into the ravine.
When Lupo and Adam got home his mom was already there, but she was cool with them not being in when she came home just as long as next time they write a note saying where they are, even if it's just for a minute or two. After nodding and pretending to make a mental note of what she said Adam and Lupo went up to Lupo's room to talk. The first thing they did was lock the door because again when Adam got worried it turned Lupo on,
"Adam if you want I can teach you some fighting moves?"
Adam's head turned to the left obviously not thinking that he would be involved in the fight, and truth be told Adam was scrawny. Never the less though he agreed to learn some of Lupo's fight moves he learned in his years. Lupo smiled when he saw how reluctant Adam was to the idea of fighting against an actual person let alone someone like Oliver. Lupo found it so adorable how Adam tried to mimic all of his fighting moves, ending up losing his balance whenever he tried to do a right hook. Lupo finally caved in laughing, his mouth opened wide in a smile as Adam fell on the bed attempting to punch an invisible target in between the eyes. Lupo stopped laughing when he saw that Adam started to hug his knees and rock back and forth.
