?The fall of the modern age Chapter 5 By Raven Fox : This chapter Jack and Danny think back of
their journey after the pulse. So this is a flash back, I am trying.
Jack is repairing a house made out of sheet metal. His best friend Danny is repairing one of
the boats at the lake. He hears somebody talking in a human voice and turns his head. Jack
recognized the human as Josh. Josh is walking with two female wolves. He knows the dark gray
and light gray one with black head hair as Lisa. She cuts his hair and beard once in a while. The
all black one with silver-white very long head hair as Tabatha. Jack looked at Tabatha, he
noticed she is pregnant. "That one wolf is intimidating. Josh how can he be around her, she
scares me." Jack thought to himself, as he looks at the 6-foot 5 inches tall female wolf with gold
eyes.
Later on Jack walks down to the lake. It has been little over a year since the last skirmish with
the hostile. Jack thinks back. He was helping Danny repair a boat. He heard three short blasts of
a whistle. Two boats launch quickly to the lake. A few minutes later, he saw Tabatha carrying
Josh out of a boat. Josh was limp in her arms. Tabatha was carrying Josh with no effort. Jack
and Danny watched as she walked fast back to the village.
Danny said, "Jack, is it me or that wolf wasn't sweating or panting from carrying a 135-
pound guy."
Jack replied, "Danny, that female wolf acted like she was carrying nothing. Remember that
she gave birth three days ago."
"Yes, my friend. That she did. What does Josh see in her, I don't know is it her size or those
gold colored eyes?" Danny said.
Jack laughed, "Big breasts and her coloring." Jack puts his two fists under his skins making
fake boobs teasing his friend. Danny playfully punches his friend. "Well let's check on Josh."
Jack said, They started walking to the village.
Jack walked up to Danny. He is repairing the raft made out of an aircraft wing. "Danny
how's it going?"
Danny looked up from his worked and grinned, "Pretty good, wait a few minutes. I am
almost done here. One of the cables holding a log just worked loose. Josh told me this happens
once in a while."
Jack shook his head, "Speaking of Josh, I just saw him a while ago. Did you know that
Tabatha is pregnant?"
Danny looked at Jack, "Oh really, I heard that she can't have any more kids. That's why she
is no longer living with Rick."
Jack stared at Danny, "Somebody surely screwed up. She looks like, she half way thru the
term. She had a smile on her muzzle."
Danny sighed, "Oh well, Ricks lost Josh's gain. That Tabatha, scares me Jack. I am glad the
vixens caught us instead of the wolves." Danny finishes up the repairs on the raft.
"Yeah me too. I prefer the vixens to those wolves any day. But I don't mind Lisa." Jack
talked to himself, thinking back four years ago.
Four years ago
Jack and Danny were driving home to Lynnwood from Seattle. It's late afternoon, they are
stuck in rush hour traffic on I-5 going north. "Dam this traffic. This sucks." Jack said to himself
as he drove down slowly down the freeway. "Danny, Let's move out of here."
Danny replied, "Where to Jack?"
Jack grinned, "Just kidding, I love it here. I am not planning on moving til I am done with
college."
Jack and Danny are both eighteen-years old. They are going to college. The course has one
year left on it. Jack and Danny been good friends since they were five years old. They are
currently seeing a couple of women who live in Tacoma, which is south of Seattle. They drive
down there on the weekends.
Later that evening Jack and Danny were watching TV. They are watching a football game
when the power goes out. Jack cusses to himself and tries his battery operated radio it is dead.
Danny tried another radio still nothing works. "Jack let's drive to Tacoma and see the girls."
Jack grabs the car keys, "Yea let's go its's Friday night. It's probably a blown transformer it
happens once in a while. They won't get it fixed til tomorrow morning. We'll get some new
batteries on the way back here." Jack walks outside the apartment they share. Jack tosses the
keys to Danny, "You drive, it was your idea."
Danny tries to start the car, nothing happens. He opens the hood and checks the battery
connections. There was nothing wrong. Danny checks everything on the car, but he finds
nothing wrong but that the battery was dead. "Let's go catch a bus so we can get the car fixed."
He hears a strange whistling sound. He looks and sees a large jet airliner falling from the sky out
of control. Danny recognized it as an Airbus A380. He watched as the giant size jet crashed into
a shopping area. Danny felt ill, he just saw more than five hundred people just died.
Jack grabbed Danny and pulled him away. Jack is watching a Boeing built 747 heading for
their apartment complex. They ran away from their home and heard the sound of the plane
crashing. "Something is wrong here Danny. One plane I understand, but two in less than a
minute." Jack looks as another airliner falls out of the sky along with a few small planes. "Let's
get out of here!" They ran away from the burning apartment complex.
Later on they are hiking east. Jack and Danny decided to head to the rural areas of
Washington state. Their folks live in Spokane, they decided to head there. Later on they noticed
the entire Puget Sound area was dark. Jack heard some strange screams coming from the big
city. Danny adjusted his back pack and looked at his wind up watch. The sun set an hour ago.
Jack and Danny manage to get some hiking equipment and camping gear. They got two weeks
supply of food. They looked one last time at the Puget Sound area, listened to the inhuman
screams coming from the area and the dozens of fires burning from the planes that crashed. "The
screams are getting close Danny, let's get out of here."
One year later
It has been a rough year. Jack and Danny for the last two days were being chased by wild
looking humans. "Danny, I don't know if I can keep this up!" Jack is running to keep up with
Danny. They both tripped and fell down. Jack looked up to a guy raising a rescue hatchet. There
was a whistling sound. Jack saw an arrow point sticking out of the guys Adams apple. He fell
aside. Then a another face appeared, it is the face of an anthropomorphic fox vixen with light
brown head hair. Jack fell asleep from the exhaustion from running for two days.
Jack woke up, but he is still tired. He looked around. He is in a log cabin structure. There is a
fire burning, but its still daylight. A fox vixen is looking at him. Jack recognized her as the one
looking at him in the woods. "It's about time you woke up. You've been asleep for some four
hours. My apology, the names' Kathy." Said the vixen.
Jack looked the vixen. She looked young. Kathy has a medium build, common on vixens. She
has a 35-C cup bust size, with a tuft of white hair fanning over the cleavage. Right now she is
wearing a two-piece swim suit made of deer skin. "My name is Jack. Where is my friend
Danny?"
Kathy walked up to him, she stands at 5 foot 3 inches. Two inches short than he. Kathy
touched his face, "He's with my best friend Sandy, he's ok. Let's go see him. Jack you got a
choice, live with me or with the wolves. Your friend is going to have this choice, so let's go have
a talk with your friend." Jack got up and followed Kathy.
Jack followed Kathy. He looked around. The village is a very good size. Jack looked at the
anthropomorphic population comprising mostly of females. He is lead to a cabin, and it's the
same size as Kathys. Jack walked in behind Kathy. Danny is talking to another fox vixen. She is
built same as Kathy. She has blonde colored head hair, 36 D cup breast size. "Where is Jack?"
Danny is saying to the vixen.
"Right behind you Danny." Jack walked in. Danny got up and shook his best friends' hand.
Danny grinned, "Jack we're being given a choice live with these vixens or the wolves."
Jack smiled, "Well my friend, I saw female wolves. They seem too big for me. I am going to
live with Kathy."
Danny said, "I going to live with Sandy." Sandy ran up and hugged and kissed Danny.
Jack and Danny were lead to a large cabin. They saw an older male wolf, "I am Dan, the
leader of this village." Dan looked at the two vixens. "So you two vixens want to be bonded to
these two males?"
Kathy and Sandy both nodded. The bonding ceremony started, Jack and Danny were bonded
to Kathy and Sandy. Dan watched as the four people walked out. A female wolf walked up, "So,
daddy those were the ones found by foxes this morning?"
Dan looked at Lisa, "Yes' dear daughter, they choose to live with the vixens. Don't worry,
someday. You will find somebody." Dan hugged his daughter.
Jack and Danny walked down the street of the village. They went separate ways. Jack
followed Kathy. While walking Jack saw an all black female wolf with silver-white head hair
looking at him. She is looking at him with gold colored eyes. Jack looked at her, "That wolf
scares me."
Kathy looked at Jack, "Don't worry, she's harmless. Tabatha just looks intimidating. I talked
to her a few times. She's really nice. She is a hunter and a guard."
Jack is lead to Kathy's cabin. Kathy kissed Jack and undid her outfit. Jack looked at the body
of the vixen. Kathy has nice firm medium size breasts with 1 inch light pink areolas. "Uh, Kathy
I never did this before." Kathy smiled and lead Jack to her bed. She laid him on the bed, sat him

at the lake and repairs them.
Danny is walking with Sandy down a trail, when they saw a large black colored male anthro
wolf laying on the ground. Sandy checked the wolf, "He's alive." Sandy reached in a pocket,
Danny saw that she had a whistle. "Cover your ears." She stuck her hands over her ears and
blew three long blasts of the whistle. "That's an emergency call Danny. Right now ten guards are
now running up here." Danny looked at the wolf. A minute later ten female wolves showed up.
They looked the male wolf over and carried him away. Danny is looking at an all black female
with gold colored eyes with silver-white head hair. She is studying the male wolf.
Later on, Jack and Danny are following the vixens to the large cabin were Dan lives. "What's
going on Kathy?" Jack asked Kathy.
Kathy turned her head to Jack, "There is going to be a tournament, ten female wolves are
going to compete for Rick, the male wolf we found earlier. One male can only have three wives.
That's a council rule."
"So it's like a gladiator event, like ancient Rome?" asked Danny.
"No, Danny. You might compare it to the Olympics. They got to take ten and bring the
number down to three." Sandy answered, looking at Danny.
Danny looked at the ten female wolves that are going to be in the event. He recognized two of
the competitors. Danny saw Tabatha and Lisa.
The event is held the next day. Jack, Danny and the vixens watched the event. Like Sandy
said. It was like watching the Olympics. The contest consisted of different track and field
events. Jack and Danny watched the event. They cheered for Lisa, she is the only female wolf
they liked. But Lisa came in fourth place in the last event. Tabatha came in first in the last
contest. The three winners were Tabatha, Mary and Tammy. Jack looked over at Lisa. He could
tell that she is upset. Dan announced that Rick is going to be an assistant to him.
Later on Jack watched Rick walked up to Lisa. "Lisa you did very well. I am going to make
you a promise. The next male that shows up, he's yours." Rick shook Lisa's hand and walked
off with the three female wolves. Lisa stood there and watched her friend Tabatha walk of with
Rick. She shook her head and walked to her cabin.
Eighteen months later
Jack is getting his hair and beard cut by Lisa. He talks to her once in a while. Jack and Danny
felt sorry for Lisa losing the event eighteen months ago. Jack and Danny think female
anthropomorphic wolves are still too big for them. Jack looked at Lisa as she cuts his hair. It's
early in the day.
"So Lisa, what are they having you do today?" Jack asked, trying to start a conversation.
Lisa stopped, "I got to take a group hunting today. Tabatha is pregnant, so I got to lead the
groups for now."
Jack whistled, "That Tabatha scares me. I don't think she likes me."
Lisa put her scissors down and looks at Jack. "I and Tabatha have been friends for years. She
is really a nice lady. She just doesn't talk much. You should talk to her, she is just like me."
Lisa holds a mirror in front of Jack. "How's that?" Jack nodded. "Think about this, have a talk
with Tabatha sometime. You're opinion of her will change. Well I got to go now." Jack walks
out being followed by Lisa. Jack watches as Lisa leads a group of ten wolves into the woods.
Six hours later Jack is repairing a house. After he is done, he is walking down the street. Jack
watches as Lisa is walking out of the woods with a big grin on her muzzle. There is a guy with
very long dirty blonde hair tied to a pole being carried by two members of the group. Jack
looked at the human male being carried along with a large dog. The human male has a small
build and he is now unconscious. Jack thought backs of Rick's promise to Lisa. "Dude, that
female wolf named Lisa, has been waiting a long time for a guy. I hope you live with her." Jack
shakes his head and walks off and thinks about the last three years of his life.
Present day
Jack and Danny walked back to the village. "Dam, forgot something. I'll be right back."
Danny runs back to the lake, he runs down the dock trips, falls and hits his head on the dock
while going in the lake. He's unconscious.
Danny wakes up, and sees gold colored eyes looking at him. He has a headache. "You
shouldn't be running down this dock Danny. You're lucky I was taking a walk at the lake. It has
taken two minutes of CPR to bring you back." Said Tabatha, she is soaking wet.
Danny is rubbing the back of his head. He looks at her, "After the times I ignore you. Think
you're scary and you save me, why?"
Tabatha shakes her head, "I may be intimidating, but I value life of friends of my friends. As
you know, Lisa is a close friend of mine. You and Jack are friends of Lisa. Well I'll be seeing
you." Tabatha gets up. She massages her abdomen.
Danny grabs her hand, "I'll walk you back to Josh's, ok?"
Tabatha follows him, "Thanks Danny." She follows him.
Danny leads Tabatha back to Lisa's and Josh's cabin. He talks to Lisa and Josh for a while
and says good bye to them and leaves. Danny walks home and he runs into Jack. "Danny what
happen?"
Danny said, "I tripped and fell in the lake, I was unconscious. Tabatha pulled me out and got
me breathing again. I am never going to say a negative thing about her again."
Jack shakes his head, "All right, let's not say anything bad about her again. Tomorrow
morning we'll go to Josh's, thank her and apologize to her, for calling her scary ok?"
Danny grinned, "Sounds good to me. Let's bring her something as gift." Danny puts his arm
around Jack as they walked to their homes.
Tabatha watches as the two humans walked down the street. She shakes her head and smiles.
"Apologies accepted, I think I'll add you two to my list of friends." Tabatha walks home. She
feels the fetus growing in her kick. Tabatha smiles and touches her abdomen. "Well Josh, it's
been a couple of days. I need some relief. I am glad I gave you a lot of stamina." Tabatha walks
in the cabin removing her clothing in front of Josh. Lisa is visiting her father
