"wait.... you dont mean...?" the Keaton said

" Thomas.... lets get out of here..." the bat warned.

"yes... my little fox... i am" the liger said from his dinning chair, a grim smile upon his muzzle.

***

in the old world, some would say it was a pardice where humans lived. but after the beginning war between humans and the ones called vampires, the world went up in unatural phenomanom. after the extiction of both races, a mistical force that protected the world created new forms, both good and bad. the force brought the lands together and created what they call now Jigramunt, a pandora like world. the new ones to inhabit this world were anthropromorphic-like animals, the next ones to live in this world like the humans did. every animal that was on the old world was here, but transformed. walking, talking, and thinking, the anaimls were able to achive what the humans weren't abel to.

peace.

(living in current day Russia, thomas, a Keaton[look into writers profile for information on character] and alan, a bat, were walking throught the one and only forest in Jigramunt, the forest of Jigramunt. ther're both teenfurs, thomas and alan are both seventeen. thomas wore a black jacket and black pants. alan wore a red t-shirt and camo pants.)(year- 1342)

" come on thomas! i found this awesome place not to far from here!" the bat encouraged the keaton.

" where are we going again excatly?"

"this big building i found yesterday!" the bat said excitedly

alan was a shy fur, due to him being a bat and all. but once he found something intrasting he had to tell the ones close to him about it, and thomas was one of his closest friends.

(i hope we don't get in trouble like we did last time...) the keaton thought. " are we going to be home by dinner?"

" yeah yeah..." the bat said grabbing the keaton's wrist and dragging him "... were almost there now!"

the keaton sighed as he was dragged, looking at the surroundings near him. trees and nothing but them. there were a few shrubs and tall grass every where. he could hear a bird call off in the distance.

The trees came to an end as they went into an open area... in the area was a castle.

the keaton stopped in awe, just stareing at the large structure"... a castle..."

" come on come on!" the bat pushed the keaton from behind, thomas lunging forward.

" hey!... " the keaton said

" lets go!" the bat said with a extreamly happy voice.

"fine..." the keaton said, being budged forward.

the two walked past a gate the was slightly open. thomas saw that the lock on the gate was broken as he walked by it. they walked on a broken brick road as they approached the front doors. the wooden doors looked wore by weather as thomas walked up to them, the bat behind him.

" dude.... like im afraid now" the keaton said as he stared at the front door.

" this place is abandoned... it looks like it has been here for some time" the bat said as he clicked the buttons down and pushed the wooden doors open, both of them creaking till they came to a stop.

they both stepped inside, entering the foyer, two large stair cases on both sides of the room. alan closed the doors behind them.

" why are you shutting the doors?" the keaton asked as whe watched the bat close the doors.

" because... this place has been well presureved... i mean look at all the paintings!" the bat said as he pointed to all of the paintings in the room. the paintings were of humans, some dressed up nicely, some dressed up for war, and others were landscapes. one caught thomas's eye... a picture of a man with a brown hat on with some kind of symbole in the middle of the wool cap.

" i wonder who this is..." thomas said as he padded up to the picture.

" i donno... maybe someone important...?"

" i get that... but why in order to be painted?"

the bat shrugged his shoulders" maybe cause he lived in here? and did something... or he was part os some royal family or something like that..."

" well... seeing how we are here and all... lets explore a bit... but stay together"

the bat nodded" got it!"

they went left, opening a door way and walking down a hall way. they enterd the first door on the right, it being a washroom. they enterd the room across from the one they were just in. it turned out to be just a room, bed, table, chairs, and even a mirror.

as they walked through the rest of the rooms in the hallway, thomas felt it beginning to grow cold for some reason.

" is it just me... or is getting cold?" thomas asked alan.

" it is cold in here..."

" lets get back to town" thomas said

" but we just got here!"

" it doesnt feel right anymore...."

" what are you talking about?"

" the fact that i feel something bad is about to happen"

" your crazy, this place is compleatly empty!"

" i dont think it is"

" oh, stop worring and lets see if this place has a libary!"

" you nerd"

" hey.... shut up... i just like to read ya'know...."

" sure... thats what you said last time... then we ended up staying in the libary for six hours!"

"well it was a good history book!"

the keaton sighed" let go, before it gets to dark"

"awwe... fine, we comming back tomarrow?"

" sure... this place is awesome"

" yay!" the bat jumped for joy

they left the room they were in and walked back into the foyer, it getting colder as they entered the room. thomas could see his breath now come out in whisps as he breathed.

"well well well, it seems i have company" a voice sounded from atop the stair cases.

they both froze, looking up the stairs.

a liger stood above them, his paws on the rails as he looked down at the two. he had a slight smile on his muzzle as his voice sounded once more." so what bring you two here, eh?"

" we are so sorry for intruding on your property sir... we thought this place was abandoned..."

"tis not, as you can see" the liger's voice filling the whole room "i am the only one here, and i am surprised that i didn't hear you come in." the liger said as he made he way down the right stairwell.

" again... " the keaton begain to say before he felt the cold made him shiver " ...we are sorry for intruding"

" nonsence, you did not intrude, come, we can speak more in the dinning room" the liger purred as he motioned them to the other hallway on the right.

thomas and alan both looked at each other. they looked at the liger who was walking away from them. they followed him through the door and down the hallway. at the end was a door that led to this huge and beautiful dinning room, there were three chandelires hanging above and paintings all over the walls. the dinning table looked like it could hold a good hundred furs as alan began to count the chairs.

" come, sit" the liger said as he sat at the head of the table.

they sat next to the liger, thomas in the middle and the liger to the right to him, alan to the left.

" so how long has this castle been here?" thomas asked

" you are currently in the kremlin" the liger said

" oh my god! your not talking about the capital buliding of the old world's Moscow, Russia are you?!"

" so you have done your research i see"

it looked like alan was going to have an orgasm as he looked around, giggling uncontrobaly. thomas sighed ( he is a nerd alright) thomas thought as he looked at the bat.

" so, i am impressed on how well this place is presurved" thomas said as he looked back at the liger.

" well seeing how i am the only one left to take care of this place, i did my best to refurbish and remodle the place after it was almost destroyed in the war"

" you have done an excellent job i would have to say" the keaton said as he looked around, the same picture he saw in the foyer catching his eye again.

" ah i see you have taken an intrest in that painting" the liger said as he stood up and moved to it.

" yes.... who was he excatlly?" thomas asked

" he was a great war hero" the liger purred as he looked back at the keaton

" what was his name?" the bat asked

" his name was Silas Aguilar"

" really... i like the sound of that name....Silas"

"seeing how he was great during his time, it is a shame that his talents went to waste"

" what do you mean?" alan asked

" he... unfortunatly was turned into a vampire, then sealed away in what they call the infanate corrador" the liger face saddned by his words

" infanate corrador?" the keaton asked, being absorbed in this fantastic story.

" another demension were most of the vampires were sealed away during the war... some say the door is in this castle."

" so wait, there are still vampires about?" alan asked

" well there are, but only in the corrador" the liger said, a slight smile upon his muzzle.

" well thats good... so how long have you been here, may i ask?" thomas said

" well... counting the years... more than three centurarys"

"centurarys... three-hundred years?" alan asked, puzzled by the ligers words

the liger nodded " yes..." the liger said as he returnd back to his seat.

"wait.... you dont mean...?" the Keaton said

" Thomas.... lets get out of here..." the bat warned.

"yes... my little fox... i am" the liger said from his dinning chair, a grim smile upon his muzzle.

the world stopped around the keaton, thomas's jaw dropping. " y-your kidding right?" the keaton asked

the liger bared his fangs and said" what do you think?"

alan ran out of the room screaming, were as thomas was frozen in fear, unable to move.

"heh... and your the one who is going to help me free the ones sealed away... but first... we have to get a little understanding between us first..." the liger said as he stood up and slowly padded around thomas's chair and stopped to his left"... im going to make you do something first... then you can be free" the liger said as he cupped the teen furs cheek

thomas's heart began to pump faster, his paw gripping the wrist of the liger.

" heh... your so soulful... let's change that" the liger said as he slowly leaned in, kissing the fur.

thomas's eyes opened in shock, still unable to move from the fear that was coursing through his body. thomas tried to push the liger away, but seeing how the liger was a size bigger than him, it seemed impossible as the liger used his strength on the fox.

thomas felt a claw tap his left temple, his arms and legs going numb and unresponseive. thomas was bewilderd why his arms wouldn't respond to his commands. the liger broke the kiss and slolwy tilted the fox's head to the right, thomas now tearing up. thomas, in his last hope before getting bitten, he began to talk.

"please... dont bite me..." the keaton whimperd

"hmm?... and why not?" the ligers voice sounding intreged by the whimper

"because... i like who i am... i dont want to be one of you"

the liger laughed" that is where you are wrong my friend, tis a curse that is placed upon one in order to turn him, we can't pass it willy nilly like we want to..." the liger's face in fustration now" so i have to free the one who can place the curse..."

" and w-who is that?" the keaton asked

" death"

thomas's eyes went wide" y-you mean the g-grim reaper?"

" yes my little fox"

"o-oh... and how a-am i supposed to s-set him free?"

" with your body... but before i send you to him... i am going to drink what i haven't had in a long time" the liger said, sinking his fangs into the keatons neck.

thomas screamed with pain as his skin was being punctured by the fangs of the hungry liger. thomas could feel his blood leave his body throught the holes in his neck, it now entering the muzzle of the liger as he drank from the fox. thomas couldn't do anything since his arms and legs were unrsponsive. thomas begain to feel light headed, his vision begging to blure as he spoke once more.

" p-please... stop... im loseing all.... sight... so please....just....." the keaton passed out in the middle of what he was saying, the liger continueing to drink from his body.

as the liger stopped drinking, he wipped his muzzle and looked at the limp body infront of him.

"oops... it seems i over indulged..." he said

he picked up the fox and slowly padded up stairs. he padded into his room and placed the keaton on his bed, covering him in his purple silk blanket.

" sweet dreams... cause they will be your last" the liger whisperd before turning to leave the room.

as the liger went to the door, the liger looked back at the almost peaceful sleeping fox, a large grin on his muzzle as he shut the door.
