Choice(Balance)-Arc 2"Trust" part 1
On a saturday morning,Kay wakes up to a glaring sun.He turns to see Alan in bed beside him.He quietly gets out of bed trying not to wake him.He stretches and looks out the window for a while.He grins then turns to Alan.
"Alan?Alan,wake up it's morning."
Kay says as he shakes his friend.Alan gets up slowly,and smiles at Kay.
"Kay? Morning."
He says,still grinning.
"Hey Alan.What do you say we go to the arcade today.You just might like it if you give it a try."
Kay offers.Alan gets out of bed.
"Sure."
He responds.They walk to the district mall that was down the street from the school.
"Ahhhh.I'm so happy today's a saturday.No work,no school.Just r and r."
Kay says,stretching once more.Alan looks at him,confused.
"What's r and r?"
He asks.
"It means to relax.Man Alan,you need to keep up with your slang."
Kay says.Alan grins,still confused.
"And what's that?"
He asks.Kay sighs.
"Nevermind."
He says as they continued to walk.Along the way they noticed a few demons that were in front of the school.They stared in horror.
"Kay,look!!"
Alan shouts.
"I see them.Let's go."
Kay responds as they rush in to fight them.They were the same lesser demons that Kay and Kyle encountered in the rural area,so for these 2 they were not much of a challenge.After Kay and Alan beat them,Kay was confused.
"Where did they come from?"
Alan asks.
"Maybe some of them got loose from the rural area."
Kay guesses.
"Still wanna go to the arcade?"
Alan asks.Kay nodds his head.
"Yeah.But we gotta be careful."
He responds as they continued forward to the mall.They arrived and it was crowded.This was always one of the few malls that were very well populated.Kay stares at the inside of "Multi-play for a while,grinning.
"Here we are."
He announces.Alan stares at the inside as well.
"Wow.So this is where you go to play?"
He asks.Kay nodds.
"Yep.Man,there are still games in there I have'nt even tried yet.This is gonna be sweet."
Kay says.Alan giggles a bit.
"I never would have pegged you for a guy who would like this kind of stuff."
He says,grinning.
"Come on,let's head inside."
Kay says as they both go in.Inside there were alot of arcade machines,and electronic gaming stations everywhere.Alan gaped around,seeing what the place had to offer.To his approvement,it offered alot.Alan watched Kay play around some and actually grew to like it.Alan gave some a try while Kay watched.The more Alan played,the more attatched he got to it.They played some together,mostly so that Kay would'nt make him feel like he was being put on the spot.Alan was having the most fun he's had in a while.Kay watched Alan,laughing as he tried a jump-roping game.
"You sure are enjoying yourself Alan."
Kay says.Alan looks back at him,and smiles.
"Yeah.Now I see why you come here everyday.This place is amazing."
Alan says as he continues to jump.
"Heh,heh,heh-
Kay's laughter was interupted when he felt a dark presence just outside of the arcade.He had a suspicous look on his face,and looked intense.There was a man that stood outside,and was staring at Kay with demonic red eyes.The gaze on Kay was so deep,it sent shivers down his spine.The man spoke to him in his head.
"You,will,not,know,peace.Enjoy it while you can,cause soon,you'll be leaving this world,and all who dwell within it."
The says.Kay quickly turns around and sees that there was no on there.He continues to glare out the window.
"Damn it.I did'nt think he would come for us so soon."
He says to himself.Alan heads over to him.
"Hey Kay.Hm? What's wrong,you look like you've seen a ghost or something."
Alan says,confused.Kay looks around,and starts to leave while Alan followed.
"Listen.We have to get out of here.It's not safe."
He says as they leave quickly.
"What's wrong?"
Alan asks,worried.
"We're being followed."
Kay says.Alan looks up at Kay as they continued to head in the direction that they came from before.
"Followed? By who?"
He asks.
"I'm not sure.But he seemed demonic.He even spoke to me in my head.Who ever he is,he's very dangerous."
Kay says as they continued on.Alan draws his wing in alert,but Kay stops him.
"Not here.We need to get away from a populated area first."
He says.Alan retracts his wing and continues to leave.After a long walk of paranoya,they stopped to catch thier breaths.
"I think we lost him."
Kay says.Alan draws his wing.
"No...We did'nt.I feel him.He's here."
He says.There was a sudden burst of flame and there stood a man in a trench coat that stood in that flame.Kay and Alan stood on edge,wings drawn.
"Alright,who the hell are you?"
Kay demands.The man grins then bows.
"I...Am Cyl.And I have been sent here to kill you Kay Stanford."
Cyl says.Kay glares at the man.
"Is that under Lucifer's orders?"
He asks.Cyl grins.
"Yes.So I'm afraid you're time as a carefree soul,ends today."
He says as he rushes in to attack the 2 boys.They dodged Cyl's attack and they backed away.
"Alright then.You wanna pick a fight? You've got one!!"
Kay shouts as he rushes at Cyl.His hand had a black flame on it and he struck Cyl to the gut with it.Cyl was burned critically,and he glared at Kay.
"That actually hurt.This is actually the first time I've seen black flame.What an odd power indeed."
He says as he kicked kay back.
"No!! Kay!!"
Alan shouts as he stood ready to fight,wing drawn.Cyl looks at him,and grins.
"Ahh,the traitorous son.I also have orders for your execution."
Chl says.Alan looks shocked,and started to think for a second.
"My execution? I can't belive it.He's actually trying to kill me."
He said to himself.Kay then gets up and shouts.
"Alan!! Stand and fight.Like I said before,I'm not gonna back down from this fight against Lucifer.And this bastard....Is the only one between me and him!!!"
Kay shouts as he stood.Alan looks at him with burning resolve.
"He's right.We're not gonna quit.We will defeat you Cyl!"
Alan says as he stands next to Kay,glaring at their opponent.Cyl chuckles.
"you have potential,I'll give you that.But you must realize when you're out done,and should just surrender."
He says,mockingly to the 2 boys.Kay clenches his fist.
"Don't screw with me!!"
He says as he lifts his hand up in the air.Alan did the same.Then something un expected happens.they look up at their hands and saw a ball of red and black flame gathered.The 2 stared at it in awe.
"What the? How are we?"
Kay asks.Alan looks just as confused.
"I'm not sure.It sorta just popped out."
Alan responds.Kay grins at it.
"Well what ever it is,let's take him out with it.You ready?"
Kay says,looking at Alan.Alan nodds his head.Cyl continues to stare in awe as well at what the 2 just created on impulse.They launched it at the man,and there was no way for him to dodge it.Let alone defend against it.Cyl was caught in the conjoined fires,and he disappears inside of it.The fires faded away.kay and Alan were panting as they rested on the floor.
"Kay.Are you alright?"
Alan asks.Kay looks at him,still exhausted.
"Yeah."
He responds.Alan then tries to help him back on his feet.
"So.You 2 are gonna take on Lucifer hm? Interesting."
A man says,sitting on a bench.
